Anna was really friendly and immediately formed a strong bond with Rosie (my dog). Rosie usually takes 5-10 minutes to really warm up to someone but within seconds she got the zoomies and then when Anna sat on the ground to greet her properly Rosie ran straight to her and was immediately comfortable. This straight away put my mind at ease and knew Rosie and my two cats were im good hands. Anna checked with me what level of contact I wanted and sent me daily updates with videos/photos. I had some confusion with the app but Anna was extremely patient and supportive with this. The house was clean and the bed stripped when I returned home. I would definitely recommend Anna for future sits!

Janice was the perfect pet sitter for our Border terrier Baxter. He’s 12 now and a little eccentric but also very good natured. Janice and he seemed to get on like a house on fire which was very reassuring for us as it was our first time using the Zeewoi app. Janice was definitely on our wavelength as it turned out we knew lots of the same people and shared the same taste in bands/ music. Janice kept us updated with lovely photos of a very happy Baxter Boy out on lovely walks round our nearby loch. He joined her at the bottom of the bed ( as he usually does with us ) which reassured us that he was very happy having Janice to look after him. He didn’t even wake up when we returned home in the early hours of the morning as he was happily snoozing upstairs with his new best pal. I would highly recommend Janice .

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We've had our 20 month old retriever here a number of times in the last couple of months. We weren't sure how she'd get on and felt like bad dog parents for leaving her, but it turned out to be a godsend! Sarah is so kind and welcoming and Rosie loves to go and stay at doggy daycare. As soon as I turn into the drive, she gets excited and it's one of her favourite places to go. Plus, it's really affordable. I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone

Was so at ease in our visit to meet Caron, Jason and their own pets plus some other guests 🐶 very friendly welcoming home from home for us both. Freddie settled right in. In our return to drop off - Freddie pushed the door open & ran straight in - this made leaving him so much easier 💙 I knew he was comfortable & safe. Joey, our dachshund, started day care with Caron and Jason in January this year. We can't recommend them enough. They treat Joey as one of their own and he has all the comforts of home. Joey also boards with Caron and Jason when we are on holiday and it puts our mind at ease that he sleeps indoors with the family. My two beagles were staying with Caron and Jason for their holidays. The daily updates and photos were great for our peace of mind, the beagles looked so chilled and relaxed. A beautiful home, the couple are lovely people. When I picked the dogs up my usually doesn’t like strange men beagle was quite comfortably sitting with Jason being petted thanks to his calm demeanor. I have a nervous dog and hate leaving him at kennels. That’s not the case now that I have found Caron and Jason. They look after your dog as one of their own. They stay in the house and are treated as part of the family. Mylo was not stressed when he came home, he loved his time at Dirty Mutts

Was extremely happy with our doggy day out here with our miniature jack russel Toby & fostered Rottweiler Archie. Such a great planned out place with peace of mind for ourselves to let our doggies enjoy themselves. Only regret was not booking longer as could easily spend longer there they really have thought of everything it’s a lovely place and love the quirky features. Will definitely be booking again and can’t wait for our next visit!

We have been coming here for 6 years. It is doggie heaven! Only downside is one of my dogs barks constantly from leaving home all through the 40 minute journey as he is so excited and knows where we are going!! 😲 All the other dogs do the same when we leave the bypass! 😁 Always something new being added. Fantastic facility for a dog birthday party! Large field area with plunge pool for the dogs and outdoor seating for the adults. Agility area for the budding crufts enthusiats or just for the dogs to run about daft. Then a beautiful wooded area with a stream for the dogs to cool down in the shade.
My favourite place in Ayrshire for a secure walk with my dogs. They give the perfect space for dogs to run in an open field whilst also having a lovely woodland area with a small stream in it. Perfect
An excellent adventure for dogs and kids alike. Our Hugo hated it!!! He hated waiting in the car for his turn, he hated going back in the car to go home. But he loved everything else that was on offer from the agility course to the plunge pool. He even paid his respect to he who went before him. All hail Axl. We and our dogs absolutely love it here. Been twice now and it's such an amazing feeling letting our little terriers off the lead to follow their noses until their heart is content! Highly recommend this place, the owners are obviously very passionate about making this an amazing place for the dogs (and us humans) to have fun! Haven't used the agility bit as ours are not into it. But they love the field and the go sniff area! Secure, fun and beautiful with the wood carvings and the fairy house. The Go Wash facilities are great and the owner is always there to make sure everything is ok or to see if you need any help. Last time we washed the dogs, they smelled lovely for weeks! Such lovely products, clean and very efficient shower! Thank you so much for creating this amazing place!
Go play go sniff is amazing for dogs & owners as ur dogs are off lead in a very secure area. All 3 areas are very well maintained and Margaret has put her heart & soul into making it the best place around for dogs would recommend to everyone
Been lots and lots of times. But sadly this was the first since our boy Hardi passed away he was lucky to have his own special visit before he passed away . Owners made sure he we could fulfil a bucket list for him they go above and beyond . Highly recommend here to anyone and if you haven't been what are you waiting for get booked !! Booked our dog in to cover our upcoming honeymoon this August directly after a successful stay in February. 2 weeks before our wedding and Knowhead are unresponsive to us on any means of communication, phone, text, Facebook or email. Had to find last minute accommodation for our dog, a simple reply to any of our communications even if they had made a mistake in the booking is the minimum level of customer service I expect to receive from a company. **update due to reply to review, we had been trying to contact for several weeks with no reply, if this was due to a holiday then fair enough but to this day, several weeks later we still have not recieved any correspondence from any messages we sent or answer phone messages we left, only a reply to this review**

We use Auntie Pat’s for our border terrier Sully, he’s been going to see Jane for over three years, as soon as we turn into the manicured driveway Sully knows exactly where he’s going and goes ballistic 🤣🤣🤣 he absolutely loves Jane and the family. He is obviously spoiled rotten, as I’m sure all the pets who have their holidays there are. My wife Linda and I can’t recommend Auntie Pats enough, if, for whatever reason, you are thinking of taking your pet to Jane, you can be rest assured they will be looked after like their own pets are.

We have used Jane and Steel at auntie pat's a few times now and honestly can't fault them. The place is spotless, Jane is lovely and our dog loves going there. One of our holidays involved a flight delay which meant we were well out with our collection time and an extra nights stay for our dog was accommodated without any issues. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else now👍
We have used Aunty Pats on 3 occasions now for our Frenchie Arnie. The level of care and love he receives when he stays is tremendous and is a much needed sense of relief when you can't take your dog on holiday with you. The facilities are first class as is the treatment received when dropping off and picking up him up. Arnie loves going and for us it is important to leave your Dog with a family that genuinely cares for and loves animals. We have used many other kennels over the years but we can fully relax knowing he is well loved when he stays here.

We’ve been using Carbieston Kennels for a number of years now and never had a single problem. Matt and Doreen are very accommodating, polite and friendly. We care very much about our dogs and have great confidence that they will be looked after well including a heated kennel in the Winter. They were recommended by a friend and we would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants their dogs looked after.

I have twice contacted Carbieston kennels, whereupon it is evident that the responsibility of care for the dogs under their control falls far below the standards expected by the average dog owner. Specifically Carbieston Kennels, advised that the kennels will be unsupervised from the 23rd of Dec to the 27th of Dec and I quote from an email from them "Although we do have dogs staying with us over the festive period, from lunchtime on the 24th till the morning of the 27th December we do not have arrivals/departures. We trust you will appreciate that this is a convenient way to help folks out and also allow us to spend time with our own family" And in an earlier communication I had with Carbieston Kennels , I advised I would be arriving late at the kennels the solution offered by Carbieston Kennels was to leave my Dog in the car overnight until the next morning

Very very very rude response from the male owner! Speaking to a potential customer like that, no idea who he thinks he is! Will certainly never attempt to use this kennel again, if you're looking for a fabulous kennel go to the country kennels and cattery near stair, only enquired with this one as country kennels were full!

I have two very elderly cats and have used North Ayrshire Pet Sitters for a few years. They have been great making sure both cats are safe and well and providing the daily medication. Its reassuring to get regular pictures and updates. Highly recommend their services.
North Ayrshire Pet sitters have looked after our 2 cats for over a year and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I have had many occasions this year where I have had to travel down south for family emergencies and Lorraine has always managed to accommodate me and I’ve not had to worry about my cats once.
As one of North Ayrshire Pet Sitters earliest customers the fact that we are still using their service a decade later speaks for itself. We are now on our second generation of cats and always have complete peace of mind that they are being taken care of properly; not simply fed but getting play and fussing during the visits. We receive daily updates with pictures, and we know that we will come home to find them well tended and befriended.
Absolutely outstanding service from Lorraine and Lorna. Otto has come on no end with his confidence and is now out walking alongside his pals and spends the weekend sulking until Monday comes around again.
Our cat Molly was recently looked after by the girls and we could not recommend them highly enough. They visited us before our holiday to meet us and Molly, gave us a time they would be visiting which was stuck to every day and send messages and pictures every day which put our minds at complete rest. Highly recommend Lorraine at North Ayrshire Pet Sitters. I have been using Lorraine for about 2 years since our eldest cat found it too stressful to go to cattery. Lorraine comes to the house, feeds them, sends updates and nothing is too much trouble, especially when I forget to leave extra treats. She also looks after the chickens, which is an added bonus. The kids love to get a picture through of the cats snoozing around the house. I trust Lorraine 100% and throughout the recent covid times she has put in extra reassuring measures. Highly recommend
We have an oddball assortment of rescue and ex-feral cats so a cattery isn’t really an option for us. Also, asking friends or relatives to look in on our cats twice a day feels a bit too much when everyone is busy….but, thankfully, Lorraine from North Ayrshire Pet Sitters came to our rescue! We were able to go away for an over-night break, safe in the knowledge that Lorraine would be popping in to feed them their breakfast and dinner and making sure they were all ok. Lorraine sent us a wee picture of the cats when she popped in to see them, and I have to say it was really nice to see them looking content whilst we weren't there and gave us great peace of mind. We returned home to very happy cats! Based on our recent experience I would 100% highly recommend Lorraine from North Ayrshire Pet Sitters to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

Lorraine at North Ayrshire Pet Sitters has been looking after my 8 month pup for the last year and has been very accommodating with late requests due to my work schedule. She has been really great with my lab and always sends photos when out on walks or playing which is good updates. Lorraine is good with nervous or wary dogs as she is very patient and understanding .
I've been using this business for over 18 months now & Lorraine has taken my dog for walks in all kinds of weather, she has never let us down. I am disabled & was worried about my dog not getting enough exercise or having to be left alone too long while I attend hospital appointments so called on this business to help, I have never regretted it. My dog waits at the window for her to arrive every time so he's obviously happy & that's what I wanted. Trustworthy, cheerful & reliable, her attention to detail due to the Coronavirus lately has to be admired, her van has everything she needs to keep herself & her 'clients' safe. Highly recommend this business to look after your pets.
