Pet Sitters in Glasgow

Competitive prices, hours are good and the people there are just great with my dog. She loves it there, it's like a little vacation when I take her over for a weekend or few days when I'm going to be out of the house too long to leave her alone. They have always been great with any concerns or anything going on with my dog and communicate very well. I live nearby so that's easy for me, location is great, just off the Warredale exit of 79 and not far from the Wexford exit also. They also offer in home services, and recently got a groomer there with her own hours. If you are looking for a place for your pet, check them out, they have been really great for my dog.

PLEASE READ !! ** We took our chocolate lab puppy here twice to board. This second visit is one I wish I could undo. Our dog came home limping on his back left paw, you can see some marks on this paw in the attached image. Furthermore, his pee upon arrival home was extremely dark as if he had not been given water for quite some time and was scarfing down his food which is highly abnormal for him. When I called and questioned the woman on the phone and asked when the last time he was fed and given water, she initially said "this morning" and then started jumbling her words together and changing her story. Mind you, it was nearly 5:30 PM when we picked him up. Lastly, the man that brought our dog out to us at the front desk was hoisting our dog up by his collar to walk him as he was visibly struggling to breathe and coughing. Meanwhile the leash we brought was in his other hand serving apparently no purpose. I'm wondering, if that's how they treat our dog in front of us, what is going on behind closed doors ?? A day after dropping our dog off, I called and asked if he could be bathed due to the smell and dirt from the last time we took him here. The woman replied by saying that was an impossible task due to his high energy. My dog and I both weigh roughly 100 pounds and I can bathe him here at home with no problem. So I'm wondering how a dog place such as this one is unable to perform such a simple task. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone who considers their dog more than just a wild animal. Be prepared for an outdated and very dirty location, not to mention the lack of care from the owners and staff. We recently moved here and I can assure you this will not be the location where our dog is cared for, I would rather drive the 45 minutes to our old kennel any day before taking him back here. Highly disappointed and still wondering what went on in the few days we were gone.

Dropped two Golden Retrievers off over the Christmas Holidays. My wife and I found the owners thoughtful and conscientious, and the were well cared for. We even picked them up a day early due to a change in travel plans without issue.

Amazing!!! As a new dog owner, I’m was not comfortable leaving my dog anywhere. However, that is not my issue anymore! When I dropped off my dog I noticed the dog kennels are extremely clean and well kept. The owner is professional and very knowledgeable about all animals in general. It made my family feel comfortable to know that our baby was in good hands! Will use them again and again!

The staff Donna Dave and Michael have been taking excellent care of my dogs through out the years. They provide excellent care in a friendly clean environment. They understand missing your pet too. The dogs enjoy their vacation at Rustic Ridge ...tails wag upon our arrival. A professional animal provider will call should a concern arise and take the pet to the vet. if necessary; all while keeping you up dated. The best for my pet.

The runs are basic and allow the dogs access to the outside when the door is lifted. They offer extra services, including 30 minutes of playtime each day. I asked for the additional playtime when I dropped my dog off for a week long stay but she didn't receive it, she also seemed more stressed when I picked her up than when she stayed at other kennels. The price us reasonable but I'll look elsewhere next time I need to board my dog.

I have brought all my dogs here throughout the years and I will continue as needed. Can’t beat the price! My dogs love to go in and out all the time and that’s what they got, with the door they go as they wanted. I feel it is very clean and staff was professional and personable. I drive a little further as I have moved, but this is my dogs vacation resort!

We have been boarding our dogs with Rustic Ridge since 1980. The owners have been wonderfull to deal with. My dogs have been exited to arrive, greeting whoever is in the office. They have always come home in very good condition and, obviously, well fed. The kennels are spacious, with both indoor and outdoor space.

We've been taking our dog here for years. It's run by a wonderful family who truly enjoys my dog. I feel like they take great care of him.

My Corgi Freddy goes here and he loves it! He charges in the door to greet all the staff and then in to play with the other dogs. I feel confident my best buddy is safe and secure when I can’t be with him. The staff and Beth are all awesome and friendly. The location is nice and convenient ! Five stars!

Our dog LOVES it at Woofles. Unlike other dog daycares that have a large dingy empty room, it has home-like creature comforts and a great backyard that has water areas to play in on hot days. The place is clean, and there are sections for large vs. smaller dogs. I get updates from staff when he stays overnight. I tell everyone about this place it’s so amazing!!!

Our golden doodle has been going to Woofles for daycare, boarding and grooming since early 2021. The only problem we have had was our dog’s own fault and Beth and Woofles were understanding and accommodating (he chewed through the wall in one of the suites when boarding as a puppy, so we had to pay a reasonable fee to pay for the damage, and now he does the cage-free lodging which has prevented any further problems). He goes to daycare twice a week, boards a few times a year, and is groomed there as well. He loves all of his time at Woodles. I especially love getting daily photos when he is boarding and updates so we know he is happy and well cared for. He never shows any signs of stress after boarding there and has never become ill. After grooming he is always so soft and smells wonderful. We’ve had a great experience overall. We are thrilled to have Woofles nearby to provide so much fun, love and care for our fur-baby.

We have a family vacation coming up and we can’t take Jordy. I was so anxious and nervous about what we would do. Jordy does go to day care at Woofles but never boarded I had Jordy stay a night to get acclimated. I am much more at ease and so happy that we have Woofles to take care of our Jordy. Thankful for Woofles and the staff. 🐶 …

My dog is wagging his tail before we even enter the parking lot to go to daycare. Beth and everyone there is so nice and you can see they genuinely care about your pets. Grooming has always been spectacular and the open boarding is great for my anxious pup.

The staff is loving and caring. I never worry about how my pupper is being treated. I know he is safe and secure. I know he is having a good time. Woofles is the best doggie care facility I know of. I travel 30 minutes on the Parkways to take my Cebo because it's worth the trip.

Woofles has taken care of my dog for 2 years now. He goes for both daycare and boarding. The staff is very friendly, the facility is very clean and I never worry when he is there for boarding. I also use their grooming services! Highly recommend for ALL things dog related.

This morning when I dropped my dog off at Woofles, Beth, the owner, flagged me down as I was driving out of the lot to show me she found a small tick on my dog’s snout. It was so tiny, it looked like a hair follicle. I would have never noticed it myself! Beth let me know they would remove it for me, and asked to make sure I had treated my dog recently with flea & tick medication. I am SO Grateful!! What wonderful and caring service. Beth and her staff know my dog by name and always greet her very warmly. My dog loves going there, but today was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend Woofles!!! Thank you Beth

We have been using the services of Woofles for over a year and even though we have moved 30 minutes further away we still keep coming back for their Day Care, Boarding and Grooming services. Most importantly our dog truly seems to enjoy her time there whether it be for the day or for a week or more. The facility is clean, the staff are attentive and the facility is well managed. I have boarded dogs at numerous facilities over the years and Woofles (in my opinion) is one of the best.

My grandpup goes there and is well taken care of,lots of room to play,water area,my son and his wife give this a 5 star thumbs up!!

Completely reliable and loving care for our cat. Recommend them highly. Our cat care taker has become family. She also takes extra time with our kitty when we’re away and is very talented at capturing wonderful photos of him. Great communication through the app and in person. So relieved to have found them.

Highly Recommend! Fetch! Pet Care has done an outstanding job for me. When I go out-of-town, they care for my dog and cat in the mornings and in the evenings. They always post pictures and an update with each visit, which makes me feel comfortable that my pets are well cared for while I am away. They are reliable and the pet sitters are friendly and responsible.

Fetch! Pet Care was everything we were looking for in a cat sitting service. Laura Y was fantastic while we were gone for 18 days this May. We have absolutely no issues with the portal, the schedule or the service. One of our cats took a while to warm up, but that had nothing to do with Laura or Fetch! He is just cranky. When we came home, everything was as it should be and the cats were well taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. And we look forward to booking their services again soon.

We were a bit apprehensive as we are extremely reluctant to leave our animals in the care of a stranger. However, after our experience with this company in October 2023, our expectations were far exceeded. In particular, our pet carer, Jody, was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely meticulous and her correspondence with us was prompt and informative. I felt as if a family member were caring for our animals. We were deeply touched and appreciative of the love and attention Jody showed towards our pets. We cannot recommend her enough!

Fetch! Pet Care was fast and easy! I've used Rover and other online pet sitting services before. What makes Fetch! better is that they find the sitter for you and arrange introductory meetings. I had a hard time connecting with sitters with other services....they said they would get back to me with a date and time they could have a meet and greet and then would never contact me. I did not want to follow up with them because I figured if they couldn't schedule a meet and greet, how were they going to be at caring for my pets?! Fetch! finds the caregiver for you, there is a meet and greet, then you let Fetch! know if you would like to proceed with the sitter. Fetch! gives you a detailed invoice listing each date the sitter will visit your pet, the length of time each visit would be, and the cost of each visit. I appreciated having that invoice. Pam watched our cat and dog for 10 days and we were very happy with their care. Our dog got a long walk every morning and then a midday visit and end-of-day visit. Well worth the peace of mind.

Fetch! Pet Care is a pleasure to do business with. We avoided going on vacation for years because we didn't want to leave our 2 cats home alone. Fetch! has changed that for us. Karen personally answered the phone when I called to inquire about pet sitting services. She explained the services and fees, it is all straightforward with lots of flexible pet care options. The prices are very reasonable, the peace of mind and level of care are worth every penny. Karen assessed our needs, and matched us up with a wonderful couple. Dave and Stephanie are kind, compassionate, professional, and reliable. They are animal lovers that totally understood how hard it was for us to leave our cat daughters. They texted us with little updates, just enough to reassure us that everything was going well. They took such good care of our girls. The whole experience with Fetch! was very positive, I highly recommend them.

Took my two (very) reactive pups here for private pool and play yard time. Just wow, not only is it an awesome space and super clean, but every staff person was so understanding and willing to accommodate my difficult dogs. Everyone at Lucky Paws went above and beyond and we can't wait to come back here for more good times!

We went here for a semi-private puppy pool party and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Gretchen and all of the staff are so kind and helpful. They made sure we had everything ready to go so the day of the event went smoothly. It was gross weather and the people who booked after us cancelled, so they let us stay an extra hour for free! Very lovely people and awesome facility!

We visit the outdoor pool and agility area and love it! My pup is always exhausted after we leave… the pool and clean and limited number of pups. Great experience!!

We have been using Lucky Paws for over 12 years (2 different dogs) for boarding, grooming and daycare and I cannot speak highly enough about them in all three areas. The staff and facilities are unparalleled. I am super picky with the places I use when it comes to my dog. He is a part of our family after-all! Unlike dog daycares that just pen your dog in a small gravel-bottomed exposure, Lucky Paws has beautiful, clean and and large indoor and outdoor play yards (with grass!) that also includes a huge swimming pool! (Huge bonus in the summer.) The day care is very well staffed and they actually play with your dogs. Animals coming into their daycare are well vetted which gives me peace of mind that my dog will always be safe and surrounded by healthy and happy dogs. I love the groomers, especially Michelle. She is so good with my dog and does a great job with his haircuts. She is one of the nicest people and my little mini doodle loves her! As for boarding, it is the only place I will consider. Beyond being clean and well maintained they offer a lot of a la carte options that let you customize your pet's stay. I love this flexibility. The staff are all great and you can tell that they all put the animals first. Love, love, love this place! I cannot recommend it enough.

Great outdoor dog park with a lot of running space, an obstacle course and a perfect pool to swim and have a good time. The price is very reasonable and we’ll def be going back

10 out of 10 LOVED this place and my dogs loved it as well!! We went for play time outside in the pool and my dogs had a blast. They check vet records so you know your dog is safe around the other dogs and have a complete enclosed play area. It's only $10 a dog for the whole day!

I took my nervous dog with severe separation anxiety to lucky paws for daycare as I am no longer a remote worker and am required to be in office 3 days a week. Staff was so friendly and helpful on the phone. Very nice people. Also they were so sweet to my boy Manny. Everyone loved him there and I can tell they genuinely enjoy being around the dogs in their care. I can’t wait for manny to have a fun place to go to socialize and play. Other daycares in this area are just a small dark concrete room and a vey tiny area of fake grass. Lucky paws has a beautiful facility and outdoor park with acres of land. I can’t wait for the summer months so Manny can play in the pool. It looks amazing!! They get 5 stars from me, only downside is I do wish they had cameras but I believe the reason they don’t is because like I said they have acres of land with nowhere to really put cameras so it makes complete sense. I would say they are the best in the area. Trust me when I say I have done so much research on daycares and have already tried a couple. Where I send my dog is of utmost importance. My dog is my life and my light and he is what keeps me going. I feel at peace sending him to lucky paws and I know he will have fun and socialize. Thank you lucky paws for making me feel at peace while being away from my dog. I will be a repeat customer that sends my dog 3 days a week. I also would love to try some of their trainings and agility classes.

I really can't say enough great things about Lucky Paws. My wife and I adopted our dog, Dante, as we first moved to the area. We happened to live only a mile down the road, so trying it out was logical. Boy am I glad we did! They literally have it all - HUGE outside area with a seasonal incline pool, a separated astro turf section for when the weather is nice, but the outdoor area is muddy/closed for the winter, and even a huge indoor area for when it's just too damn cold outside! Wait though, there's more! They even have a groomer, boarding, training sessions, you name it! I think the greatest thing they had though, which wouldn't be normally mentioned, is a great community. You see the same people throughout the year and the same dogs. Dante had his own wolf pack to roll with every time we were there and the company shared amongst the humans was great! Luxury like this costs something, but I found the $175 price tag for the year to be more than reasonable. You get what you pay for! It took us moving to Virginia to finally realize how good we had it at Lucky Paws, which is what finally prompted me to sing their praise in this review. So with that said...Gracie, Inca, Remi, Rugby, Meg, Saida, Sophie, and whoever else I may have missed. Dante misses you guys!

Love talking our husky malamute mix here for the pool in summer. One a kind place! The pool is pretty big and the park even larger. Always seems to be a healthy load of tennis balls floating in the pool too.

Gem of a place! The team and facilities at Lucky Paw are fantastic! They look after our pup like she was their own and the variety of services cover everything from grooming, daycare, and boarding. Highly recommend!

Really wonderful service! Our dogs are very dog-selective and don't do well with traditional boarding services, so we were looking for an alternative during a weekend trip. Pied Piper Pet Sitters was perfect - our animals were able to be in a place that they were familiar with and stick to their regular routine. We got text updates and pictures with each visit, and everything was very reasonably priced. So pleased with this decision, and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Laura is the most kind, gentle, loving human who truly cares about the animals in her care. Our two cats are our entire world and we wouldn't leave them in just anyone's hands for a week while on vacation. Upon meeting Laura, we were blown away by her knowledge and attention to detail. She took notes during her visit and made us truly feel like our girls were in the best of care. While we were away, she sent us pictures and updates daily which always put a smile on our face! We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that Laura was watching the girls. We can't wait to use her services again on our next trip! We are customers for life!

Tammy was highly recommended by multiple people when I was looking for somewhere to take my golden doodle Zoey. She has kept Zoey multiple times. Every time has been perfect. She takes care of Zoey like its her own dog. Very clean and well set up. Our dog never seems stressed or worked up when we drop her off or pick her up! I would recommend Cozy Country Kennels to anyone looking for the perfect kennel.

I really appreciate that she seemed to have formed a bit of a bond with our pups, it shows she's friendly and caring (I think so at least). Great place, I would definitely feel comfortable bringing Yuri and Wicket again.

Amanda is so good to our Dogs, They love her! After a kennel stay our dogs are always clean & happy. She is always there with them, which means alot to us when we are away. We do not take our babies anywhere else. We have a 8yr old Bernese Mountain 100lbs. and a crazy 1 yr.old Aussiedoodle.

She couldn't even be bothered to return my phone call. I waited a week. Nothing. There is no website, so the only way to find out prices, availability, and schedule a tour is by phone. Poor business etiquette.

Barb took such good care of our two dogs., plus my son's dog. I would highly recommend this kennel. Very sweet no nonsense lady. Beautiful settig, plus the dogs get they're outside space.

Barb is absolutely fantastic and her kennel is beautiful and clean! I have been taking my two goodlendoodles here for over 5 years now. She makes them feel comfortable, gets them outside to play and always sends me pictures. I am always anxious about leaving them but I know they are in good hands with Barb. She is diligent with shot records and keeping all the dogs in her care safe. I cannot say enough good things about this kennel.

We have been using Muddy Paws for years, they are great! We absolutely LOVE Barb and Muddy Paws! She is so AMAZING with our two little dogs. We have one dog who is extremely anxious to be apart from us. We are always at ease knowing that she’s in great hands with Barb. She really goes the extra mile to make sure that your dogs are extremely well cared for during their stay.

I absolutely love this kennel. I have never encountered such a kind and caring dog person. Even if you have a dog who isn't the most friendly, the owner somehow finds a way to connect with them. Any time I go to Muddy Paws the place is clean, the pups are happy, and she is somewhere doing kennel chores, or playing! If you ever feel nervous about leaving your fur pup somewhere in fear of them not feeling safe/comfortable (like I have previously felt with my own pup), I highly recommend this kennel. It is such a welcoming environment for not only your animals, but also for you. It is such a relief being able to enjoy your vacation/time away knowing your animals are in GREAT care!

The owner really cares about your dog and his/her well being and it shows. The kennels are clean and in good repair, and in such a lovely setting. I really appreciate that she takes the time to get to know your dog before keeping them. I want only the best for my fur babies and I found it!!!

I was drawn to Muddy Paws from the write up the owner Barb had written about herself and her business. It is hard to trust just anyone with your "furbaby." Jaxson & I went to our "meet & greet" and it was great. Muddy Paws is located in a beautiful country setting. It is very clean. Barb the owner is very good with the dogs. She even gave me a training referral for Jaxson! Her pricing is most reasonable. I will definitely take Jaxson back and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to board their best furry friend!

A charming boarding kennel that is pristine clean. There is more than adequate space to play & do their business when the dogs are taken outside. I received a picture while I was gone showing my girl happy in her environment. I will definitely board here again.

My older golden retrievers love staying at Muddy Paws. They both hop in the car when they know they are heading to their spa vacation. My dogs are well cared for and I am regularly sent pictures of them to show me how they are doing while I am away. I couldn’t have left the country for my last vacation if I hadn’t known they were with someone that cared for them as much as I do.

My two high spirited Aussies visited for the first time in Nov 2024. They were very wound up when I dropped them off & I was extremely nervous to leave them. I returned to pick them up after four hours and found them happily playing with the entire group of six dogs in the outside room. It brought me such comfort! We just had our first stay here. Our dog has sensitive skin and developed a hot spot that became infected, but the team here was on top of everything. They knew when to seek care, they gave us updates, and even checked up on our boy a week after our stay. We truly felt like they cared and that they did everything to help him out. Definitely recommend. All the staff was great! We will definitely be back!

We had a great grooming experience with Sam! I had a full groom done on my senior Golden Retriever, and our puppy got his first nail trim. Communication was great, and the boys came out looking amazing and so very happy! Highly recommended! ❤️

Sam did a great job grooming my 3 month old golden retriever for the first time. She was patient and found a way to help him feel relaxed during the grooming process!

Our 8 month old pup loved her time at her very first doggie daycare! The staff was very communicative and posted pictures of our girl on their social media which made me feel as ease knowing she was having so much fun!

Finally a doggy daycare that my dog likes. She's excited to get out of the car (instead of trying to get back in like she does at other popular daycares). The staff is super friendly. Knew which one was my dog from the first visit.

My girl, Molly doesn’t travel well in the car & I had to board her while on vacation. It broke my heart. She’s 3 & the 1st time we’ve left her. The staff was great with her. I checked in several times that week & they gave me honest feedback. (She was a bit upset we left her.) They helped Molly adjust without having her family & gave her extra attention to ease her transition. I cannot thank them enough for taking care of my baby! I highly recommend Friendly Paws & will def use them in the future.

Heaven on earth for dogs !!!!! Erica fox has been training our service dog since he was 8 weeks old. She is amazing. BLU adores her. At 6 months he passed the Good Canine Citizenship test with ease. He has gone on to pass multiple testing since. And continues to develop his skills. She has given us a beautiful gift. Soooo appreciative. ❤️ Erica.

Erica Fox is great and worth the time/cost as a dog trainer! She is helpful for correcting mistakes by consistently communicating commands, patient and incredibly knowledgeable educating me as a dog owner on training techniques. Erica’s expertise training in our home has been incredibly helpful — from how to handle answering the door when guests arrive to counter surfing. Highly recommend! Even our dachshund loves her and tries to sneak into trainings!

Erica Fox has been the Canine Kingdom trainer for our two shi-tzu babies since they were only about three months old. They absolutely adore her and it has been amazing to see how they've progressed this year. She's been fantastic at teaching them basic obedience, walking on leash, and behavior modification. I honestly don't know how they would have gotten this far without her!

I started taking my puppy “Stella” to training last year with Erica the trainer at Canine Kingdom. It did not disappoint! I saw instant results and it really helped with Stella’s listening and behavior. Erica is very hands on with training, provides updates throughout the day and sends videos of each training session. I highly recommend Erica for anyone looking to get their puppy/dog some training, you will not regret it.

Erica was an excellent trainer for our dog Addie. She was able to get her more comfortable walking on a leash passing other dogs and people. We have definitely seen an improvement in her over all behavior.

I cannot express how much my partner and I absolutely ADORE Canine Kingdom! They are always so friendly and respectful not just to us but to our girl Dixie too. They handle our anxious pup so well, it's why we travel as far as we do to keep going to Canine Kingdom. It's what's best for us, and for our dog! The energy of the staff is always top tier! And if something happens while we are away they make a point to calmly address it with us and not make us feel embarrassed. Seriously, this place is #1 for a reason!

Dropped my dog and my sister's dog off. My sister had used them before and we thought the dogs would play well together. On the day we were to pick up our dogs, my sister gets a message that my dogs nose was hurt. I was never notified. It is a scratch, but to not notify the owner is unprofessional. In looking at the pictures posted online it appears the injury happened on the 4 days before my pet was picked up with no notifications. My dog was filthy when i got her home. Will never use this service again

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE Absolutely awful we were taking our dog there to be boarded because we had to go out of town for a couple days . Our dog went for a meet and greet a week in advance and the woman said she was good to stay. We went to drop her off on the morning we were leaving and her husband was absolutely rude to us and told us our dog would try to escape when really she was just upset we were leaving. He was rude and had no clue what he was talking about. He said our dog was young and has too much energy and would try to escape. We told him our dog isn't young she is 9 years old. Then he continued to scream and yell and was extremly unprofessional. He said if she stayed she would have to be caged the whole time. They left us with no place to take our dog to on the morning we had to leave its a good thing we were driving or we would've missed our flight and had no place for our dog to stay. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE
