Amanda and Nate were wonderful house sitters. We realized a few days before the sit that I had scheduled their arrival a day after we were leaving for vacation. Amanda and Nate were so accomodating and arrived a day before they had planned which was such a relief for us. Mopsy and Sadie enjoyed hanging out with them. Amanda sent updates and pictures during the week, which is always a treat We received pictures of Mopsy sitting next to Nate and Sadie getting nightly brushings from Amanda. We arrived home to find that our house was especially tidy and clean, which was so nice after being gone for 7 days! We did not need to clean anything up upon our return. Amanda sent us a detailed update at the time of their departure! :) We couldn't have asked for better house sitters/cat sitters! We would highly recommend Amanda and Nate.

This was the first time we used Lisa and we hope to use her again. She was extremely easy to coordinate the details of her and our trip. She and her husband were booked to stay at our home over thanksgiving and she mentioned she had a daughter who was in college. We invited her to come and stay with them during this holiday. They all three flew out the night before so we could go over details with them before our departure the next day. They were incredibly kind by offering to get up super early to take us to the airport. They texted us pictures of their adventures with the pups on a daily basis and the pups were never provided with so much attention and walks. They were extremely clean and tidy and the house was cleaner than when we left. The linens washed and changed and all the dishes were washed and replaced. It would have been hard to tell that there was anyone staying at our house. I cannot recommend Lisa enough and I truly hope she will consider a return to care for our pups and house.

Josh and Jenalee did a wonderful job with the dogs. The communication with the was easy and seamless. They were not shy to give updates and send pictures even though it was not asked of them. The dogs all seemed very happy. They went above and beyond with the tidying up of the house. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Kelly and Chris are lovely people and we loved having them at the house! They were very engaged from the start, asking questions and wanting to know all the details on our pets. We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!

Really appreciate the service here for my first visit to Turning Tails! They were able to fit me in to a really early time slot for my schedule and that can be hard to find. I'm sure heelers have some reputation for being hard to manage or mouthy but the groomer raved over my dog and it helped me to feel they took the time to work with him. He looks and smells fantastic, thank you!

I boarded my dog here for ten days. The staff is wonderful and very caring. I think they enjoyed having him there as much as he enjoyed his time there! I opted for two days of "daycare" time while he was there so that he could hang out and play with the other daycare dogs. He must have had a blast because he was worn out. Next time I need to board my Rolf he will definitely be going back to Turning Tails!
As a local groomer who doesn’t offer boarding… I send all of my clients here. I love that they don’t cram more dogs than they know they’re capeable of having at one time in just for the money . The dogs get one on one time and the facility is extremely clean and well taken care of. Your pet isn’t just a number here, when Sammy stayed there they gave me lots of updates which is always appreciated
They were so nice in accommodating my dog! She is a rescue and afraid of doorways so instead of wrestling her in they cut her nails out on the sidewalk so that she would feel safer! It meant a lot that they were so good with my baby. Great employees and they definitely care about your pet! I definitely recommend them!
