Responsible, reliable mother/daughter duo traveling together :)
Deonesea and her daughter are great sitters. They left the flat spotless, cleaning their sheets and hanging before they left. Communication was great from start to end. They even were really helpful when they spotted a couple of fleas on Aurora and regularly combed her and treated her. Thank you both.

Natasha was such a pleasure to have in our home. Not only did she give us email updates with photos, the house was emaculate when we got home. She even left us a very nice note, treats amd flowers! Above and beyond to come home to such a nice surprise. I would welcome Natasha back into my home any day and highly recommend her.

Kimberly sat for us while we were in Europe for almost 3 weeks. It was reassuring to be so far from home and know that everything here was in capable hands. Kimberly is, among other things, professional, kind, responsible and a good communicator. She loved on our 3 cats, the house was spotless and she even used our blower to clean our deck of leaves. We recommend Kimberly highly!

Experienced, Trustworthy, Loving, and Attentive Housesitter.
This is the second time that Todd has done a sit for me. As before, I have nothing but superlatives to say about him. His kind, gentle way with my animals is amazing. My dog adores him, and even my feral barn cat allowed him to come within petting distance. Todd is scrupulously clean and organized ; keeps me updated about how the animals are doing; flexible; self-sufficient. I would gladly have him sit for me again.

Erinn and Bandit are an absolute delight! Erinn saw my that my request for a sitter was not filled two days before our trip and she promptly applied, even though she lives only a few blocks away. When she and Bandit came to meet the crew, we immediately felt at ease knowing our Mowgli would be in good hands. We will definitely invite her and Bandit back again.

Danika was great! She is an excellent communicator and very responsive to texts/questions/etc... She sent the right amount of status updates and photos of our pet. She arranged to come for a pre-sit visit which was much appreciated and tends to help us and our pet have a more successful sit. I would highly recommend her.

It turned out Thena did not have to do pet care for this sit, but she did a great job housesitting. We felt the property was secure and the communication was first rate. Also, she left the house spotless - cleaner than at the beginning!

Suzanne was pleasant & a calming presence during a stressful time (leaving our 5 cats for a week). And she left the house & car cleaner than when we left! She made sure to send pictures on a daily basis, as requested. Highly recommend her for care of your fuzzy loved ones & your home.
This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!
Amanda was the perfect housesitter and pet sitter for our cat. She is organized and communicative, and took care to ensure she understood the guidelines for taking care of our home and our cat. She left our house in perfect condition and we returned home to one happy kitty! Would not hesitate to have Amanda housesit for us again or recommend her to others looking for a sitter.
Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! We truly think of her as part of our family now and all 5 of our pups would agree!
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail. First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own. Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see. Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back. I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. I would welcome Tracey and her children back to house sit in a heartbeat – they are exactly the kind of house sitters that one hopes for on this site! Thank you, Tracey, for everything. You and your children are welcome back anytime!
Not only did our pets enjoy meeting Kelly and Christopher, my husband and I enjoyed meeting them as well! They are personable and kind, organized and communicative, and most of all excellent pet sitters. Kelly and Chris are attentive housesitters. They went out of their way to connect with our dogs, especially Smitty, our rescue. The dogs were walked, brushed, and played with throughout the weeklong sit. They sent pics of how our fur babies were doing and truly seemed to enjoy their time with them. The peace of mind that comes with great house sitters who care for your precious pups and the home you love is priceless. Thank you once again, Kelly and Christopher! We hope to see you again!
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Elaine was a welcomed sitter for Cyrus and Purrelli. I returned from holiday to find a very content relaxed dog and a happy fat cat. Purrelli doesn’t eat when he is stressed so seeing a little meat on him let me know he was content and happy :) My condo was left clean and in order, all communications were smooth and there was zero issues. Thx for the great pet care Elaine.
David was a super interesting guy, we had good conversation. My place was clean, my cat was happy...he communicated with me.. David is a great house and pet sitter . He is very gentle, which my cat enjoys.
Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Our dog in particular seemed to miss them and their long walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jerry and Suzanne! We wish you well in your travels!

We love boarding our doodle puppy Moo here. She comes back to us happy and her playful self each time. You can elect for group play or individual one on one attention as well. The best place around here, the staff are all so great. They give precious report cards each time too.
Bailey loves the staff and every trip to , Home Away from Home. Whether she is there to see Debbie for her water tank walk and massage, daycare, or overnight. Its an extended family really. Noone i trust more to care for her when i can not. You guys are great, Thank you!!
We have lived in Grants Pass for six months, my dog has had two stays here, once for two days and another for 8. She is eight years old and a large breed. Both times I was extremely happy with her care. Genuinely seem to like her. And she seemed very well taken care of. She has also been groomed there a couple times and I’ve been very happy with that as well!
We had to board our 3 puppies for about 5 weeks at this location. We visited quite often and everybody was super nice and the puppies were pretty happy. They offer some extra services like grooming a nail clipping and the service is wonderful.
Our girl seemed to enjoy her stay. The staff loved her too. She arrived home in good shape with a report card detailing her visit. We would leave her with them again.
Took in a 15 year old toothless Chihuahua who has had her long nails neglected for years. They got them perfectly at the quick and she can walk normal again! She's a very happy camper. The staff were so nice and gentle!
Our fur baby loves his home away from home! He is always so excited to go in that he forgets to say goodbye!
Pebbles had a great report card from her visit. Love that you have a caring staff. She is happy that we are home.
I adopted a dog, Molly, in April 2023. She was highly leash reactive and aggressive. She could not be with other dogs, she was not pleasure to walk. We began attending Learn and Play. Jessica, the head trainer, was a gift to us both. 10 months after adopting my wild child, Molly is a social butterfly. She loves to play with other dogs, meets and greets new dogs in a polite manner, is a joy to take on walks any place we want to go. She earned her Canine Good Citizen title just 6 months from beginning classes (Learn and Play and Obedience). Since then she has earned her Novice Trick Dog and Urban Dog titles. Molly would not be where she is today without every single person at Home Away From Home taking the time with her and showing her love and understanding.
Absolutely LOVED having Angel groom my boy Sarge! She listened to what I had to say at drop off and had great insight on what to expect groom wise. He didnt have to stay all day and I really liked that she got down on his level to pet and greet him at drop off. He had a blast and he looks so handsome!!! This was his first professional groom and he will definitely be coming in again to get pampered again!!😊
Laura and Bill are great! They were able to take my little dog on short notice, and they treated her so well. She was with them for about 4 days, and they kept in contact with me to let me know how she was doing. I definitely recommend them and would use them again!
I was going to board my dog. I paid 300 and had disguise. If 180. I asked if I could pay remainder upon pickup she said no. We had agreed to pay full in advance but it was concerning bc I did not get a receipt. When I dropped by to pay the remainder she said they would no longer board my dog. She was very unprofessional and had an attitude. It's like all she cared about was getting my money. I'm sorry it didn't work out but after she put me to voicemail a few times and handled things poorly I didn't feel comfortable leaving my dog there. It was a blessing in disquise.
Dropped our small dog "Coop" at RR Kennels, for a few hrs, while we went on the jet boat up the Rogue River, we were a little apprehensive at first, but the man that greeted us at the door "Bill" I believe, was very nice and assured us that Coop would be right there in their home and would be safe, we could tell he was very genuine. Laura was there to greet us on our return, and she was also very nice. Would absolutely recommend them for boarding your fur babies...the fee was very good for the few hrs that he was there. $35 and we left $50 because we were so satisfied. If we're in Grants Pass Oregon again we will definitely be in contact with RR Kennels again...
These folks are the absolute best. My husband and I were in a bind and we reached out to them and they were able to take our two pups in for doggy daycare same day! We felt safe and confident that our dogs would be taken care of. They stayed in an outdoor kennel that had access to a swamp cooler and area to use the bathroom. After 8 hours in daycare, they are happy and content...and so are we! Huge thanks to RR kennels!
We absolutely loved this place! We needed someone to watch our two dogs while we went on the Hellgate River Boat Cruise and RR Kennel was available to watch them despite us calling less than 24 hours before we needed them to be watched. They also kept them in an air conditioned room and were able to give them their dinner. Lastly when we had car trouble they were able to watch the dogs longer than expected and even drove to our RV campsite to drop off the dog bowls we accidentally had left. We would totally recommend them and will be using them again when we are up here!
Laura was so kind and accommodating for my sweet girl, she’s a very low maintenance dog but has a hard time around dogs that are bigger than her. She also wasn’t socialized well as a puppy, but she loves people, she just struggles with being around other dogs. Laura was more than happy to accommodate space/time for my dog. Definitely a great place for dogs! ❤️ 🐶 🐕
Omg, left my puppy with the wonderful Laura at rr kennels. I was apprehensive because we were going to the coast, however, after spending a short time with Laura, I knew I had nothing to worry about. I will only have Laura watch my pup. She sent me pictures daily, we were gone three days and she sent me a picture everyday. She's a trained professional. Truly, forget about Home away from home...left my two dogs with them, biggest mistake of my life. Laura, you are the one for us. 😘 Thank you for everything.
This is the place to take your pet. Plan ahead but if the need arises. Laura will try to accommodate your needs. 1 or 2 hours ....or vacation stays ...reasonable rate and a local woman owned business. Highly recommended. If you found this review to be helpful please like it.👍👍👍👍👍 …
Terrible experience. There is no signage to show what it is. It is a beaten down house with a bunch of chain link fence around and kennels outside. We specified that we wanted our dog to be kept inside as she has anxiety and this was a service they offered. They said they would "let her sleep in the house as if she were there own" when we asked to see where she would be staying, they showed us to a entry way that smelled horribly like cigarette smoke and had a little poorly made doghouse with a tarp to sleep on with a heat lamp that you would put a lizard under. The man who accepted her was actively yelling at his own dog to "shut up". Due to not having any other option, we had to leave her overnight. When we returned our dog had her tail between her legs and was shaking along with needing multiple baths to remove the cigarette smell. I will never use this boarding service again, and I don't know how it has such good reviews.
The site was a dump. No real place for the dog. Just in the family room. They accused our dog of peeing in there house. Then admitted that maybe they dropped ice on the floor. They basically demanded we get him but refused to refund any funds even though he was only there two of five days.
Grateful to Lindsey for accommodating my TWO puppies, last-minute, when they were closed for day-use. Lindsey and her team were professional, personable, and so welcoming to me and my furr-babies. My pups were EXHAUSTED from being able to run free with the other doggie-occupants. Absolutely fantastic- all around. Thank you, Lindsey!!!
Lindsay is by far the most reliable and trusting person that I know to care for my dogs. Whether it’s day care or boarding the level of care is consistent. She is also very knowledge and experienced with different types of dog behavior and runs her kennel efficiently and safely. She is also so accommodating and she structures her hours of business in a way that is very convenient to owners. The area in general is a laid back atmosphere and doggos are always having a blast in the play yard. She also offers training and fun engaging activity for the doggos. I cannot recommend enough! Thank you for being the peace of mind we need when we are away it’s so sincerely appreciated.
We had been having some behavior issues with our Australian Labradoodle puppy and Lindsay was there for us from the beginning! Because we live in Seattle we could not access Mt. Baldy Kennels easily we resorted to talking on the phone. Every conversation we had with Lindsay was like gold. She is very compassionate, direct, and intelligent about dog training and gave us invaluable insight to behavior issues. We ended up sending our pup (and our other) to Mt. Baldy Kennels because we didn't want anyone else! They stayed there for a board & train and it was the best decision we ever made! She goes out of her way to make your pup part of the pack and teach them confidence and manners. We are so thankful for Lindsay and would recommend her services to literally anyone with a pup. We now take our doggies everywhere and feel much more confident in supporting them and their needs. If you are interested in having a well-mannered dog that can do cool tricks and listens to you... look no further!
I can’t say enough about Mt. Baldy Kennels and Lindsay! While working in the area my sweet Olivia had training, stayed many days with daycare, and lengthy overnight stays once while I was out of the country. She’s very accommodating takes great care of my pup and just a wonderful experience all together including candid photos, Easter egg hunts, and birthday partys. I just can’t say enough about Mt. Baldy Kennels. My assignment is over and we have to leave. We will greatly miss Mt. Baldy Kennels especially Lindsay and all Olivia’s friends. It’s obvious Lindsay loves what she does and is great at it! You won’t regret using her services 💕 we’re missing you already Lindsay
Our family travelled in from out of state and needed to board our pups during a 4-day rafting trip on the Rogue. Lindsay made us feel so comfortable and took great care of our dogs. One of our dogs doesn't get along well with others, so Lindsay was able to keep our 2 together but separated from the rest of the pack, and ensured they got plenty of time on the big yard to run and play. She sent along some photos of them having fun and it was great to receive those once we were back within cell range! Definitely recommend Mt Baldy Kennels and if we find ourselves back in the area we will for sure board our pups with her again!
I love Mt. Baldy Kennels. Lindsay is very knowledgeable about my dog’s breed. I love that my dog can play outside all day. I feel like my dog is well taken care of while she is boarded there. Gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. Lindsay is also very responsive to questions and concerns, answering in a timely manner.
Lindsey is amazing. I have a 12 yr old birder collie who kinda would rather just hang out w humans. She took excellent care of Maggie and would let her just hang out w her. She will be my go to for all future boarding for my pup. So glad I found her!
We've been with Mt Baldy Kennels for almost 3 years. Our Ephraim completed Board & Train and we regularly send him for boarding. Lindsay gave us tools to manage our sweet, exuberant lab. Our kids entrust their fur baby with her as well. Mt Baldy is our boy's home away from home!
Lindsay truly provides a loving home-away-from-home for our dog. She takes such good care of him that we don't worry at all while he's at Mt. Baldy Kennels. Her comfortable inside kennel is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Her grounds are super clean, and she provides a large fenced area for the dogs to play. Our dog loves going and playing with his "friends". We are so thankful that we found Lindsay. She is a gift and blessing to our community!
Lindsey at Mt Baldey Kennels was excellent with our two dogs for 5 days. I was confident leaving them in her care while we were watching our son graduate from Marine bootcamp. I highly recommend Mt Baldy Kennels.
Courtney, Is Awesome as well as all the staff.I had to fly out of town for a wedding. My dog was having issues. They immediately called my vet for me as well as contacting me in the emergency. Courtney took my dog to my vet as we had agreeded upon. Yes she saved my dogs life. Sadly we found out she has cancer and not sure on how much time I have with her. So now it is just spending quality time with her more than usual. Thank you to all the staff and especially Courtney. You all are Rockstars Words can not express how thankful I am to you.
We take our dogs here frequently for boarding and doggy day care. They have so much fun and we love the team there. Everyone is so knowledgeable and nice. The dogs have a blast!
I have a shih tuz and they cut off her mustache, trimed her ears and face very short. I was appalled, no groomer has every done such a pore job, my little girl also passed out from so much water in her face. will never go back.
Our lab pup has been going here since she was 6 months and she LOVES it. We also love it because it gives her a chance to play with other high-energy dogs, and she's able to have fun in a safe and wonderful environment. The facility is clean and every staff member we've had contact with is so kind and caring. They are also great with our girl, Miska! Canine Club is an amazing gift to the area.
I am SO thankful for the Canine Club! Our pups have been going there for the past six months and they love it. Our Aussies go to daycare and do their cross fit program—they always come home happy and tired. The team at the Canine Club is amazing and they all love and treat our pups as if they were their own. Thank you!!
Trust them 100% with my pets. Winnie and Niero love their weekly Doggie Play Group and Cross Fit. Thank you Ryan, Sandy, Courtney and all the wonderful staff ❤️
Jed says he loves Canine Club. They are nice, and it's clean, they are knowledgeable. He gets to play with his big doggie friends. He's only 6 months but he has lots of friends.
Great people. Trustworthy. I don't know if a dog flu vac is mandatory still. My dog is not going only because of that. Otherwise I would use their services easily.
We LOVE Canine Club ! When we moved here we were need a place to take our 1 year old Aussie at least once a week to help her stay socialized and run out her energy. The staff have always been super nice and very help, they work so well with the dogs, and cats too. We have our dog regularly attend doggy day care here, and we have boarded her here as well and it was awesome! I would highly recommend Canine Club to anyone in the area that is looking for quality doggy care/ pet boarding/ grooming or training.
First time leaving my kitten at Canine Club. He seem nervous at first but later was fine and seemed to enjoy his stay. Clean and safe environment. Friendly staff.
The new name of the business is Hollywoof's Dog Grooming. Great experience and a good job on our pups! Would recommend to anyone. I dealt with her daughter and she did wonderfully with one of dogs, BB a.k.a. ( Big Baby ), who doest like yo have his paws done but she managed beautifully. Bring your kids here to have the done. Nice Job!.
Had an appointment for our dog for a haircut but was rescheduled due to groomer’s life event which is totally fine because life happens. we were flexible and changed the date and time to a Wednesday at 1030. we showed up at 1030 not only was the place still closed, waited an extra 10 minutes and we called multiple times and left a voicemail never to be called back when we drove by the place It was open at 1pm and never got the call back about rescheduling or even an explanation. It is a shame because we really liked the way they cut our dog’s hair too but will no longer be going due to the unreliability.
Did good job on our dog. Wasn't what we wanted but still did a good job. Our dog has been more active and happy since her trim.
Great staff and wonderful with my poodle. I'll be taking her back here because they know how to make her feel safe. And they aren't over the top $.
My dog isn't the best when it comes to nail trimmings and baths. They did a lovely job. He was squirming around and they were calm and patient with him and treated him with the utmost care. Will be coming back and I will recommend to friends
I took my Yorkie to three or four other other groomers before finding Stephanie at JC's. He would return to me shaking and out of sorts from the others, but with Stephanie he was happy and acted perfect normal. When was always very caring and loving with him..have never trusted him anywhere else in the last 5 years!
Came highly recommended, until I arrived and was almost run over by one of their clients, I had to shout, Hey Stop!! As I'm standing there w my door open getting my dog out, 8 months pregnant she says, "I didn't see you" I said I know, You didn't even turn your head to look! Even though I just parked besides you. The Owner comes out yelling at me that I need to not have a hear attack and it's ok bc , "She has Cancer and is Old". I said, I don't care, if someone is going to hit me me I'm going to yell Stop!!! She then continues to tell ME to just leave, and is laughing hysterically and peeping through the blinds!!! I cannot believe such rude behavior and from someone as old as she is, and a Business Owner! So Now I sit and wait for the Police to come so I can report the driver and the obnoxious owner, Both of us Clients were parked in J.C.S designated parking spots, Had I been injured I would Own her Company!! She's careless with human life, so I wouldn't trust her with my Pet either! Bad Human!
Carol does an awesome job. We brought our Golden Retriever to her for many years until he passed away in August 2015. He was 15 years old.
A note from a 6.5# Pomeranian, Lucy Lou Thomas: "I am an angel across The Rainbow Bridge now, but on earth, I looked like a beautiful princess because Carol and J.C. Pet Groomers and Spa kept me looking my best, summer or winter. At ages 12-14 in the photos here, you can see why everyone thought I was adorable. Carol almost cried when my Personal Servant asked to have me shorn for summer camping, but even then I got lots of attention for being so cute. I loved rolling in nasty stuff and running in the weeds and water. I forgot to mention how much I hated being groomed my entire life. The bath was OK, but I moaned and cried and shrieked and howled like a banshee the rest of the time. Carol took extra time with me, to help calm some of my anxiety. After we left the spa, I trotted and strutted like a puppy, knowing I was so beautiful." A note from the Personal Servant: Lucy was a screamer for the one other groomer she had and would not allow her previous owner to groom her at all, snapping and snarling like Cujo. I was able to do a little daily care, but she fought the ordeal so much that she was usually a mess for Carol. I can't say enough good things about the service they offer. I still take my pug grandson there, a mellow fellow who loves his bath.
They did a wonderful job on our young dog's first grooming. Great price and excellent service. We will take him back!
This was my first experience using Kelly's Pet Sitting. I can honestly say that I have had pet sitters over the years and Kelly stands out. Very professional, organized, reliable, caring and has an amazing ability to connect with your fur babies! We were gone for 13 days and a flight on the way home cancelled putting us away for another day and a half. Kelly accomodated this last minute request by continuing to care for our fur family~ she put us at ease instantly. I would highly recommend Kelly's Pet Sitting ~
Kelly and her team do an amazing job of taking care of our 2 dogs and cat. She is kind, compassionate and very understanding. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to keep their pets as comfortable as possible while they are away!
My husband and I are retirees who recently moved to Medford with our precious kitty, Tuff Pumpkin. Kelly's had been recommended to us but we were nervous about trusting our babe to someone new, that is until we met Kelly. She is great - organized, thorough, and with a heart of love for critters. She did an outstanding job for us and we were completely confident that Tuff would be well cared for while we were out of town. I heartily recommend Kelly's and we'll definitely call upon her again for our next trip.
Kelly and her staff have taken amazing care of my cat during short and long vacations. The last one was over 2 weeks and Kelly sent me pictures of my cat and her interaction with her over email since I was not receiving texts while overseas. Even my husband was so impressed with Kelly sending pictures nearly every day. Kelly included notes about her food consumption and her playfulness which was a sign of how comfortable she was with Kelly. I appreciated Kelly's service so very much and her great communications to my sister as well. I've told all my friends and co-workers about Kelly's Pet Sitting and how totally cared for my pet was upon my return. She was not stressed as she had been in the distant past. Kelly has created an exceptional service and I would recommend her to any pet owner. Thank you Kelly
Kelly and Wendy are the best. I was out of the country for two weeks on vacation, and they minded my house and my five cats, two of whom didn't come out for them. Everything was fine when I came back and the communication was great. THANK YOU! Will definitely call this outfit again the next time I need to extended travel.
I have relied on Kelly's Pet Sitting more than 20 times since 2016, and I cannot say enough about her excellent service and reliability. She is a true professional and diligent in her pet care. I think my cat has begun to think of Kelly as her second mom! Her prices are fair, and she sends me pics of my fur baby at each day's visit. I recommend Kelly's Pet Sitting with zero reservations.
Kelly does a fantastic job! Very friendly and kind with excellent communication. She took great pictures of my cats, and gave me peace of mind when I was away from home. I returned home to happy cats and goldfish, and she even took time to water my plants! Would not hesitate to recommend, and will definitely be booking her again.
Kelly’s pet sitting is top notch. Me and my partner were heading out on vacation and where so glad we found Kelly. We were worried about our 3 girls and trying to find a place to board them for a week, Kelly put all those fears aside. We were able to keep the girls at home and Kelly came by daily to feed and love on the little ones for us. She kept us in the loop the entire time and sent pictures daily. The girls were well taken care of. I highly recommend Kelly’s pet sitting to anyone looking to keep there pets at home while going on vacation or if you need someone to check on the littles fur balls while your working. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
We used Kelly's Pet Sitting just last week for the first time. Like some other reviewers, I was so nervous to have a stranger watch my pet other than friends or family, but we are new to the Medford area and don't have contacts for that yet. By the time our initial interview was done, we knew Kelly's services were going to be just what we needed We have a very old cockatiel. Kelly did the pet sitting and her professionalism and updates are priceless. I do worry a lot about leaving my pet home when traveling but because Kelly was so good, she set my mind at ease. This is probably the first vacation I have taken where I really did relax and it's because of Kelly's Pet Sitting service. She provided me with daily updates and seemed to even thoroughly enjoy the time spent with my bird. She even sent me a short video of him singing to her!! And when we got home, my bird was happy, and did not seem stressed out at all. It was great. I trust Kelly with my home and my pet. I will definitely be using her service as often as I can. I think her service is better even that family and friends because she is so knowledgeable. If I had found her where I used to live, I would have used her then. So glad I trusted my instincts about her and her service. You can too! I hope you will because you will find the support you have always needed when you can't travel with your pet!
My cat was so happy that I hired Kelly to watch over her on a recent trip! Kelly was incredibly professional and so easy to work with. She also understood how much I would miss Pearl and gave me regular updates. When I came home, Pearl was calm and happy--very different then when I just had friends drop in occasionally to check on her. Kelly also got the mail and took out the trash. Truly a great service and worth every penny.
Southern Oregon Pet Services has been our dog's home away from home. We bring him here for half-day and full-day daycare as well as overnight boarding. He absolutely adores the trainers (they are wonderful!) and the safe space to run around with the other dogs -- he is always eager to jump out of the car when we arrive! We have done one-on-one training here, too, which has helped immensely with his reactivity. I highly recommend Southern Oregon Pet Services for anyone who is looking for a facility that will treat your dog like their own.
We send our Belgian Malinois mix, Bruce, to Southern Oregon Pet Services so he can get some socialization, training, and exercise. He always gets so excited when we turn down their road and comes home tired and happy. We board both our dogs with them when we travel. We’re so grateful to have somewhere we know our dogs will be safe and happy.
Our dog, Maude, is an American Bully mix, from the shelter, who was a stray just a few months ago. When we adopted her she had almost no training or manners. We were searching for a daycare that could provide enrichment, discipline, structure, and fun. Once Maude had her safety assessment, she started daycare and received additional obedience training. It took only a few sessions and and she began to fit right in. And the skills she's learning have helped with her manners outside of daycare as well. A huge plus. Maude loves going to SOPS. The trainers are calm but firm and care about the dogs holistic wellbeing. They even teach us new skills to teach Maude. Maude loves dogs, people, being outside, structure, and play. She gets all of that at SOPS. She gets to run around, learn new things, meet new friends and burn all her doggy energy. We're so glad we found SOPS. It's a great operation and we are so grateful for how lucky Maude is to have this enrichment opportunity as part of her life. Look how happy she is!
I first reached out to Kailani for dog training. My then 8 month old pup was destroying my stuff and had really bad manners. I needed help! We did private training and a few group trainings. Wow, what a difference. Before long, I started taking both my dogs for doggy daycare and I board them with Southern Oregon Pet Services when I travel. My dogs are now 3 and 5 and they SO love going to play with their friends. I love that they are exhausted when we get home. Kailani and staff always go above and beyond to care for my girls. All of the staff treat Luna and Ruby like they love them, and I have zero worries when they stay there when I travel. They even paid special care on the 4th of July when Ruby experienced anxiety and Luna was sensitive to the heat. I recommend S.O.P.S any chance I get.
Amazing people! Their rescue service is Koa Bully Rescue. We just got a rescue from here and he is the sweetest boy in the world. Kailani is a great trainer and advicate for these amazing animals. If you are looking for a new family pup start here. Meet our new little buddy Tuki.
Reliable and compassionate business. We use the dog daycare services. So thankful for them!! Have been a customer for approx 2 years. Money well spent. My dog LOVES it!
The team is super caring and offer amazing care of your pup. They always have good eyes on the dogs and create a healthy environment for all the dogs to have a blast. I’m a pet sitter and have recommended many of my clients use SOPS!
Amazing experience! It's a nice country-type setting with tons of outdoor space for them to run, play, and sniff. The entire team of staff are phenomenal and keep the dogs safe, engaged, and having fun the whole time. Second only to cheese, doggy daycare is definitely my pup's favorite 😊 …
Simply the best!!! Our girl Sadie loves going to doggy day care. Staff is caring, great with training, and we feel absolutely safe with our pup lovingly cared for.
Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable, lots of shade for the dogs to run and play. Good supervision, secure play areas with lots of room to run. Dogs are matched with appropriate size and age groups, to provide a low stress environment. Can't wait for our dog to join in the fun. Really liked that Everyone was low key... no uppity staff here.
Our dog had a great time staying here! Camille was very kind and commutative, sending us pictures and updates. The facility was very clean and well kept. We looked at other places to keep our dog and there is nowhere else that is as clean and affordable. Thank you Camille!
We love Lucky Dog Lodge! Camille is wonderful with our Border Collie, Daisy~Mae. We worked all summer on fire contracts and Camille borded Daisy for several weeks at a time. Her rates are fair and she did a great job which allowed us to do ours without worry. We are very grateful for Camille and highly recommend LDL for your pet sitting needs.
Owner Camille was very thorough in gathering information about our dog Hershey. Kennels were clean and well maintained. She described daily schedule and required items to bring for his stay. She encouraged us to ask any questions.
This was our first time boarding with Camille. From the moment we drove into the secure facility we saw a nice Sandy play area, open, secured ,very clean and the little kennels are inviting like home. Camile has accommodations for the little pups and big kennels for the big dogs and everything in between. Our Winston who is a corgi had the best time with Camille she exercised him, took him out through out the day to play and potty, fed him what we needed him fed and she posted to FB pictures and videos. Camile was quick to text back when we asked the status of how he was. We are so pleased and happy with the service and the care Winston received we will definitely use Camille and the lucky dog Lodge again. 5 star resort for your pet. We highly recommend Camille. PS: The peace of mind we have knowing our dog is safe, loved like family and happy made The Lucy Dog Lodge our dogs new place to stay when he can't go with us
We had the pleasure of meeting Camille the owner of The Lucky Dog Lodge. She was very reassuring that our little boy was in good hands. She answered all of our questions, stayed in contact with us while we were away. We highly recommend her clean and secure place to board your pet. Reservations are required.
We love Lucky Dog Lodge for our dog and she loves to go there when she can't come with us. Camille takes good care of the dogs. We highly recommend this place.
Many people refuse to board my German Shephard due to "his breed". Camille at Lucky Dog was so welcoming towards him and he LOVES going. VERY clean, temperature controlled, and attentive facility. Absolutely reccomend 😁 …
Wonderfull establishment, warm home feeling. My dog Niner felt comfortable from the minute we arrived to the property. Lucky dog lodge lives up to the name!
Great place to board your dog! Our dog Cassie stays there every time we go out of town and she thinks it is her home away from home!
She did a wonderful job with our Cassie. Amazing facility.
Excellent care & service! Tina was marvelous and was not only able to sit for us on short notice (around Christmas no less!), she genuinely seems to care for the pets she sits with, and have a genuine love of animals in general. We could tell our kitties were in good hands when our less social cat immediately took to Tina on the first visit! She also offers to send pictures & text updates of pets which always make us feel so much more at ease when travelling. We will absolutely be looking to TLC Pro Pet Care the next time we have to travel! :D
Tina went above and beyond for me when I was out of town. She was such a valuable resource and a huge support when I needed it. She sent me pictures of my loves every day which helped me a lot too!
I am blessed to have found TLC Pet Care in April 2020. I had a family emergency out of town and needed someone immediately. Tina Anderson, owner, came over right away to meet with me. One week prior to this, we just welcomed 5 brand new kittens into our home. We, also, had mom, dad, aunt Ittle. We had a house full. Tina took charge of the situation and spent every single day for the next 3.5 months caring for our sweet babies. She sent multitudes of photos and videos everyday, so that my husband and I could feel involved in the babies growth and I can honestly say, they were a highlight of my husband's day. As he shared each and everyone with his Dr.'s and Nurses until he passed away. I will forever be thankful for Tina and TLC Pet Care for coming into my life. Not only was Tina there for our animals, she was there for me while I was going through the absolute worst time in my life. Tina still comes over every day for the cats because she is an important part of our lives now and I wouldn't, nor would all the kitties, have it any other way. We LOVE TLC Pet Care!
My experience with TLC Pro Pet Care has been amazing! I use their service to care for my cat when I go out of town. Tina is always quick to respond and flexible with dates and times. She is thoughtful with her care and keeps be updated on how my cat is doing after every visit. She goes above and beyond to make sure I feel safe leaving my pet and home. I feel that her rates are very fair for the service she provides. I would highly recommend TLC pro pet care for anyone who needs a pet sitter and I will continue to use their services!
TLC is beyond amazing at what they do. They took excellent care of my senior pup (and cats!) while we were away and most importantly, loved on him! I felt like he was so well cared for and that alone makes me a lifetime customer. Tina was extremely professional and detailed. We appreciated the meet and greet beforehand. If you’re looking for a reliable and seasoned pet sitter, go with TLC— you won’t regret it.
Tina is terrific! She takes great care of my two mini dachshunds (and senior cat when he opts to come out to visit) and they love her company. I first booked Tina only 36 hours before I had to leave for a week-long business trip because my initial pet sitter cancelled on me. If not for Tina being able to accommodate me at such short notice, I would have had to cancel my trip. Tina saved the day! She's been my go-to pet sitter eversince. I cannot recommend her enough.
Great Experience with Tina at TLC! She booked us on super short notice and helped customize a plan for our 5 month old puppy. This was a last minute need and she made the entire process super easy. Harper loved her time with Tina and slept for a solid 3 hours after she left. We will have her # on speed dial for all our trips to Medford. Highly recommend!
Tina was great. Prompt response to an inquiry made at the last minute when my usual sitter was unavailable. Great quality with affordable and friendly service. She provided updates upon each visit and even included photos of my kitty when possible. Returned to a happy kitty and an apartment in great condition. Unlike some previous sitters she had taken the litter trash out, got my sticky deadbolt to work smoothly, and cleaned the food dishes as well! Will definitely be using TLC Pro Pet Care in the future. Highly recommend!
Absolutely wonderful service and care. Tina kept in touch with details at every visit and displayed a genuine interest in connecting with and caring for our pets. All communication was thorough and professional (though warmly personal as well) right from the first interaction through to the last. I would be happy to welcome her back into my home any time. Tina actually brought in her own toys to play with our kittens and checked the store for additional wet food when we were down to dry only - just to make the kitties happy. Neither of these were expected from her but showed a great deal of personal investment in what she does. She clearly loves caring for pets and was a joy to 'work' with.
Tina was so great. We’ve hired pet sitters in the past who have been good, but Tina far exceeded our expectations. She sent us pictures and videos daily of our sweet pup and even bought her a little doggie toy which she loves. Her communication was amazing and I truly felt at ease on our trip knowing our pup was in good hands. Pretty sure our dog was sad to see us return. Haha. I will happily be hiring Tina again in the future!
Natasha groomed my golden retriever and my little girl came back looking perfect!! She’s so soft, beautiful trims, and her paws are perfection. We will 100% be returning to Bark Bath & Beyond!
Toby is coming for his first grooming /hair cut at Bark Bath and Beyond. So far I have only talked on the phone and scheduled and appointment. They were very nice ! We are excited for the summer cut. Here's the Before pictures! April 5th is our appointment. After shots !! She did a beautiful job we made another appointment thank you!!
I recently moved to Grant Pass and was fortunate to find this groomer. She did a great job giving Kona a very close cut that allows her to stay much cleaner and happier playing outside. I was impressed by the uniformity of the cut our over her entire body.
I followed Natasha here because she does such a good job on my medium sized standard poodle, and listens to any changes I need as well as it gets colder. My friend has 2 larger poodles who go there, and they look fine too. She is sensitive to things like, "He has not been liking the blower".
I've been taking my dog, Bear, to Julia for several years. She was my absolute favorite! But the last 6 months, the quality of her grooming has decreased, while her price keeps increasing. I would be willing to pay the higher cost if she was as good as she used to be. The last two grooms, she has nicked my dog on the face, right by the eye each time. Bear is a shi-tzu and so he does need to be trimmed on his face each time. The first time was on his right eye the very outside corner of the ACTUAL eye!! I'm surprised she didn't get his eye and blind him. We had to take him to the vet, get antibiotic cream for his eye, and have him wear the cone of shame for a couple of weeks. The next time I came in, I mentioned this to her, and she pretty much dismissed it "Oh that's too bad." I told her that I was frustrated that she never even mentioned it to me, and I had to find it on my own. After saying that she said "oh, sorry." She sure didn't seem like she cared. This type of cut would have for sure made him yelp or get super anxious. It was SOOO obvious too! Then this month (there was only one groom in between the right eye cut), I took him in again. This time, she cut directly under this left eye, in a groove between the eye and his nose. It was TERRIBLE!!! My little guy had drainage coming from this wound and his left eye, and it in turn made his eye very inflamed and swollen. We immediately put the cone of shame back on, and called the vet. They couldn't get us in for many days, so we were just going to take him to the vet emergency in Central Point the next day. The next day, the swelling was down, even though it was still draining a lot. We watched it carefully, and it kept getting better. We had to keep the cone on for 2 and a half weeks this time. I really like Julia, the groomer. She is super nice and very professional. She used to groom him perfectly, but obviously something has changed. Maybe she is grooming too quickly now? Is her eyesight worse? It seems to me that she should not be grooming anymore. After this experience, I informed her that we would no longer be coming back. I didn't even want to leave this review because I like to support local businesses, but if I was someone looking for a groomer, I would want to know about this going on. This picture is from this last groom. You can see how upset the left eye is.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We are new to the area and I was worried about finding a gentle & effective groomer for my two fur bb pugs. I chose Bark Bath & Beyond because it's ran by a mom & daughter who have so much experience and do the services themselves. Natasha was amazing! So kind and caring with my pugs and they weren't stressed at all. Thank you so much!
My dog is 3 years old and this is the first time i have ever been to this particular groomer. I have never had anyone do such an amazing job on her nails and I'm positive I will never go anywhere else. Thank you so much!!
This place is clean and bright. I took my dog to get a grooming and Cindy did a wonderful job. I could not have been more pleased. It is on the left side of 7th street do make sure you are in the far left lane, by the time I saw it I had passed it and had to go around the block. My dog liked it and I will be taking him back for future grooming.
She was amazing. Me and my boy stopped in for a nail trim and we were in and out. She did a great job. Highly recommend.
I loved the previous owner, but the new ones are great! Their prices are more reasonable and they were very kind to me and my dog.
We could not be happier with our experience with Courtney. From the very first session, it was clear that she is a supportive and non-judgmental dog trainer. She took the time to listen to our issues and goals, as well as understand our lifestyle, and then tailored the training specifically to meet our needs. Our dog, a 3-year-old reactive shepherd, had been a challenge for us. We felt lost and confused about how to help him, but Courtney provided us with the tools, resources, and unwavering support we needed. We have been sending our dog to her for day training sessions, and she always takes time to meet at the beginning to check in and at the end to discuss the day’s training, answer any questions, and ensure we are confident in continuing the training at home. In addition to all of that, she sends detailed emails with recaps and homework, which make it easy for us to stay on track and measure our progress. Courtney stands out due to her exceptional dedication and willingness to go the extra mile. She is always willing to review videos of our training and provide valuable feedback or answer any questions if something comes up that we do not know how to navigate, ensuring that we are on the right path. It's evident that she is truly in it to help strengthen the owner and dog relationship. Thanks to Courtney, we now feel confident and capable of training our shepherd on our own, knowing we have her support and guidance whenever we need it. And, of course, we plan to continue working with her to further our learning, strengthen our bond with our dog, and give him the best life possible!
Courtney is amazing! She goes above and beyond caring for our German shepherd. Her facility is beautiful with amazing grounds and so much outdoor space. She gives our pup the very best care and I never have to worry while I’m away. I cannot recommend her enough!
I cannot recommend The Pawsitive Paw enough if you need help with your dog. Our rescue pup, Sookie, was so nervous and anxious that we questioned whether we could provide her with the home she deserved. In fact, it took over 6 months before Sookie would allow my husband to put a leash on her, and that is one of many examples. She could not be left alone, was afraid to go to the bathroom, and was sensitive to sounds and common things like statues in our neighborhood. Courtney assessed her, trained her, and most importantly, trained us. We developed a great relationship, and eventually hired Courtney to walk her daily while we worked. But Courtney didn’t just walk her, she trained her daily! Now Sookie has amazing leash skills, has learned to go to her place on command when overstimulated, and is honestly the best dog we could ask for. Courtney also stayed in our home when we traveled, allowing us to avoid boarding her. Let me also say this, our home was cleaner and in better shape when we returned from vacation than when we left! Sadly, we have moved from Oregon and have yet to find anyone who compares. Do not delay if you or your dog need guidance. This is professional skill building for a reasonable price. Sookie is grateful, and so are we!
Courtney is SO wonderful. Not only was she so helpful and clear during our in person sessions, but she has also spent countless of hours over the phone sending voice memos, texts and videos to further my skills and knowledge when it comes to helping my dog. It’s so clear that she cares about her clients and their pets. She has a very well-rounded approach and looks at your dog as a whole rather than slapping a “bandaid” on the issue which is what I see a LOT of in other trainers. She’s answered every question I’ve ever had in the most patient and clear way she can. I’m forever grateful for choosing her as our trainer.
Highly recommend!! I found Pawsitive Paw after essentially being deceived into getting a Malinois by a “protection work trainer”. After spending thousands of dollars we received a puppy who had zero obedience, house training, leash or collar experience, extreme crate anxiety, and was in no way a candidate for the protection work she was intended for. The list goes on but she was a mess and Pawsitive Paw more than showed up. She taught us about the dogs whole being and how to help her regulate herself to her surroundings. She worked with us hand in hand as well as over FaceTime and text. PP’s approach to balanced and relationship based training is something every dog owner should consider. We got another dog recently, a chocolate lab, and the training styles and approaches are completely different but PP has helped us with him as well. Because of PP we have one of the most balanced Malinois with a solid switch and amazing temperament and are building another very obedient and happy pup.
