We reached out to Gabriela on very short notice, and she was incredibly kind and accommodating. Even though she couldn't take in our dog due to pending vaccinations, her decision was thoughtful and considerate of her existing clients' safety. It's clear she genuinely cares about the well-being of all the pets in her care. Highly professional and responsible—thank you for your honesty and compassion!

Gabriela was inexpensive and accommodating, however my dog came home reeking of weed. Then I had to take him to the vet a couple days later because he had gotten a skin infection on one side of his body, so I will not be boarding here again.

Our Dog Tucker had a wonderful 1st weekend at Gabriela's. He was treated like family and made a dog friend. First time we had to leave Tucker but we felt that he was safe and well cared for. Will definitely use her service again!

Just look at this happy guy! So glad someone at my dog park recommended her. Reasonable and accommodating. Will board with Gabriela again!

If I could give more stars I would! Having a Great Dane with separation and kennel anxiety makes it difficult to find a place where I would feel comfortable boarding him. Gabriela truly treats every dog as her own and provides exceptional care. My boy has came home happy tired the times I have used her and not anxious at all. Highly recommended!

Gabriela was very nice and professional. She was able to accommodate us on very short notice. She sent us cute pics of our dog and let us know how she was doing. I would recommend her to anyone and we will definitely use her again when we are in the area.

Gabriela is FANTASTIC. Available last minute. Got my shot records to her and she was available for boarding at very reasonable prices. Both of my dogs ABSOLUTELY LOVED being there!!

I have taken my dog Ozzie to Gabriellas on and off since May of 21 for daycare, and he has stayed a few over nights. Ozzie always has a great time and is excited when we pull up to her home. She always takes great care of him and provides pictures and video if you request it. Thank you for all that you do!

Update: it's been a couple years now and I love her even more. Best of all My girl is so excited every time We have been using Gabriella for a couple weeks now we have done doggie daycare during the day and overnight boarding. She is so kind! She makes sure to take care of our precious baby and honestly our dog absolutely adores her. We are definitely helicopter parents and we worry Non-Stop about who we leave our dog with (she has seizures) and honestly I do not worry with Gabriella. Today our Stevie girl was playing pretty hard in the backyard and got muddy and she even gave her a bath before sending her home!

I don't live far from the kennel. I bought a puppy, visited several times before bringing her home. I have 2 friends who did the same. Just love those Beagles!!! Mike does a great job with those dogs. They have plenty of space to run and he spends a good amount of time with them. They are treated very well!!!

Very odd experience…. I called and left a message regarding boarding for my two dogs. A guy calls me back and very aggressively begins the calls with why I keep calling him. He proceeds to tell me he can’t board dogs anymore because Biden has ruined his kenneling business and using multiple curse words and then hangs up on me. Just a very strange interaction so based on that I would never personally board my dogs here because of the very unprofessional phone call and clearly a very angry at the world man.

Great place to get an AKC Beagle but I bought his old tiny houseboat so this is the only picture I have.

Friendly gentleman was very accommodating and allowed us to pick up our Willow on Mother's Day. Beautiful kennel and the beagles are so adorable!

Fuzz Buckets is INCREDIBLE! Great service, great care for your pets, easy communication + scheduling online. I love getting pictures of our puppy when they visit. Totally recommend them 100x over!

I am very pleased with Fuzz Buckets! But more importantly, my cat is happy. Holly visits and not only takes care of litter, food and water, but treats and play time. Having the service makes going out of town a simple matter of a phone call or text and I'm ready to go!

I used Fuzz Buckets 2021/2022 early in the year. I stopped using Fuzz Buckets in March/ April 2022. Holly is a caring person however she was not coming at consistent times. We have 2 cats and one is blind and at the time needed medications. So the inconsistency for our blind kitty with colon issues was not good. The stress of Holly coming sometimes very late was not good for her medication schedule or her in general. Also, having to chase a blind cat was not easy I realize but things were always out of place upon our return. I stopped using her services and asked for my house keys back in March/April 2022. I have emailed, texted and reached out to her numerous times with no response and no keys! It’s been over 6 months and she refuses to bring back my keys to my home. This is unacceptable as a business owner she has an obligation when I’m no longer using her services to provide me with my property back. It’s still a business she is supposed to be running and as a former client I’m entitled to my property. So buyers beware yes she is caring but you may not get your property back should you choose to go elsewhere.

I cannot say enough good things about Fuzz Buckets! Holly and Alexis have both cared for my pups. They are incredibly accommodating, reliable, and compassionate. It gives me a great peace of mind when I’m away knowing my babies are in good hands.

Fuzz Buckets took amazing care of our cats while we were out of town! We were able to meet with Andi beforehand, which made us even more comfortable. I loved seeing the picture and text updates for each visit. It made me feel at ease while I was away and my cats seemed to really enjoy her visits!

Fuzz Buckets exceeded my expectations for a pet sitting service. They came to my home once a day for a week to care for my two cats. Everything from feeding them canned food and cleaning the cat box, to cleaning up after my pukey cat. I received detailed daily updates and even pictures of my fur babes. This is a great service that lets you relax knowing your pets are being taken care of by trustworthy people who are passionate about the wellbeing of your animals.

Holly and her team are amazing! My dogs absolutely love her...I feel completely comfortable with her coming into my home and my pups absolutely adore her. My dogs are like my children---I am very selective in who I allow to watch them so it says a lot that I hired her to pet sit. I love Fuzz Buckets, but I thin k my dog George loves them even more! This outfit is so professional, I get pictures of the walk and a summary of how the walk went with a little map of the route that they took! They take excellent care and George always has a huge grin on his face when I see the pictures. If you want a dog walking service look no further!

My pups and I absolutely love Nature of the Dog! Jackie, Luke and the entire are wonderful, friendly, attentive and clearly care very much for all the dogs. I love the small play groups with attention to most compatible groups. I cannot recommend Nature of the Dog for daycare & boarding.

We've sent our dog here for both overnight boarding and doggie daycare, they've been great! Really nice facility and the owner/staff are kind and friendly. Our dog seems to really enjoy his time there, too!

I send my dog there for day care daily and have used Nature of the Dog for boarding, and I cannot say enough great things about Jackie, Luke, their staff, and the facility! My dog is cared for and loved there, and I love that they get plenty of play time outside.

Puppies and not-so puppies love it. The way sessions are paid for you it’s have to plan well for your needs and make sure you understand conditions. At the GRR location is a little hectic right off M37 especially during drop off / pickup and rush hours.

Nature of the Dog is the best! Our very active and excitable golden needed a place that he could run and play under the supervision of experienced staff. Luke and Jackie take great care of him while boarding or durning the day for daycare. He always comes home tired and relaxed. I also really appreciate how they took the time to learn what kind of personality our dog has and how we have trained him. They work with him while he visits and make sure to reinforce positive behavior.

Well folks...we are happy to give this awesome, smaller boarding/doggie day care a "they've got it going on!" Nature of the Dog truly recognizes the nature if the dog. Boarding kennels are top notch and the owners know doggies (right down to keeping white noise going for dogs in their bedrooms waiting to rotate out into the play yard). Thumbs up to owner Luke. Relaxed, sweet atmosphere for visiting canine family members.

Great place to board your dog! My dog can sometimes struggle to get along with other dogs especially with toys nearby and they were very accommodating to this. They introduced him slowly and he felt comfortable enough to play with other pups! We hoped they would post more pictures of him while he was there but overall, a great experience!

We have loved Nature of the Dog!!! Our pup Remi loves going for daycare and boarding. He always comes home happy and tired. As first time dog owners we were nervous finding somewhere based off reviews. Nature of the Dog didn’t have a single bad review and you can tell why! Definitely check it out if have haven’t already.

So far so good! Love sending our fur babies here. Scott & Oakley are amazing! They really take great care of your fur babies while away. Scott went above and beyond when one of our fur babies got sick while there. After about a week on meds and some negative results his fecal testing He was good to go!. So thankful. ❤️ Praying we can continue to have a good working relationship for years to come so that this is the only place we ever have to use. 😇

We boarded our two vizslas at Pine Hill Kennel for a 3 night stay. This was our first visit and we were very happy with our experience. We are pretty picky about where we leave our boys. We appreciated the communication from the start with Oakley, as well as meeting the owner Scott at pick-up. Would definitely board here again.

My furkids love visiting uncle Scott’s! The chocolate lab loves being able to bark and no one telling him to stop, my Oakley loves sharing her name with Oakley at PH and the problem child mutt seems to behave better at the kennel than at home. They start whining and screaming with excitement as soon as we pull in and come home ready to snuggle. Don’t forget to ask about their pet portraits!!! They are absolutely beautiful!!

Once again Scott has a fantastic operation. From initial email and phone conversations to the day of the hunt he runs a tight ship, clubhouse is clean, explanations are clear and the farm is amazingly kept. This is as close to a wild hunt as you will get. Birds are lively and have plenty of room to roam and relocate. His guides and dogs are experienced, personable and manage the hunt well. He also is great at helping get new hunters acclimated, feeling comfortable, and having a safe, fun experience. You can't go wrong working with Scott!

Took both less than 1 year old puppies to the Kennel for there first time. Scott and his crew were very attentive. And the best thing, was the call from the owner, to follow up that our experience was positive and to make sure we were happy with his service. Highly recommend the kennel. One of the things I like is that the owner is on sight.

I would highly recommend Pine Hill Kennels to anyone. Chaske -- our German Shorthaired Pointer -- is special to our family, so leaving him anywhere is always hard. We are always anxious when evaluating our options when we have to leave. Last month, we tried Pine Hill Kennels for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff, Scott and Oakley, were fantastic, and they took good care of Chaske. They were highly communicative, and we opted for additional nature walks and other play time. We are excited to have found a great solution when we leave for work or vacation. We actually tried other boarding services, and we couldn't find one as personal, communicative, or affordable as the team at Pine Hill Kennels. I think other boarding companies 'talk the talk' but don't 'walk the walk.' In fact, the strongest testimony comes from repeat customers, and we have already booked Chaske's second stay at Pine Hill. We can leave with peace of mind knowing that our special dog is well looked after. Thanks, Scott and team!

We have hunted with Scott eight times. Scott has been very cordial and friendly and it has been a wonderful experience every time. We’ve hunted several times with Gumbo, a Boykin Spaniel, which was an awesome experience. I have hunted all my life and Scott and his facilities are awesome. We will be back next year and thank you Scott for a wonderful time.

We only had to board our dog there twice as we are moving out of state but I would recommend Pine Hill to anyone. They were very attentive to all my dogs little quirks and accommodated. Thanks again!

Scott runs a tight ship. Clean facilities, amazing fields and great dogs. I’ve never been to a better club around the state. He also runs fly fishing trips locally if you ever want to do a cast and blast. I’d recommend him to any of my friends.

Stephanie is the best! She’s been walking my dog daily while I’m at work. She’s responsible, trustworthy, and thoughtful. Not only does she walk my dog but she trains her as well. My dog is reactive on her leash and Stephanie handles her really well. Getting her daily notes and pictures of my pup make my day. I highly recommend this company and using Stephanie as your dog walker!

Doggie Latchkey Pet Sitting is by far the best dog sitting service I have ever had. I have been a long-term customer and have never had a more positive experience. We’ve used doggie latchkey for many years after getting a referral from my parents. Our typical sitter, Rob, treats our dogs like his own and spoils them with treats, walks and snuggles when he visits. Latchkey has always met our needs for times and visits even when we didn’t have much lead time. I’m so thankful to have the option to keep our dogs at home where the are most comfortable.

So beyond happy and thankful to have found Doggie Latchkey. My husband and I rescued a socially anxious, dog-reactive border collie who always comes home from doggie boarding just stressed out and exhausted (even if it's only 1-2 nights). For our honeymoon, we felt bad putting him up in boarding for the week so we looked around for other options and found Doggie Latchkey. Communicating with them is a breeze. It is quick and efficient and personable. The meet and greet was easy. For our 5-night honeymoon, our dog sitter was Vanya and he was just truly wonderful. He was careful, communicative, helpful, and seriously put both my husband and I at ease while we were out of the country. Neither of us had had someone else stay in our home before, but any discomfort evaporated immediately as soon as the week started. We got tons of happy dog photos, clarifying questions about anything ambiguous, overall great and easy communication. When we got back the dishes were clean in the dishwasher, the trash (including bathrooms!) was taken out, the bed was stripped, and our happy little guy was his normal goofy and relaxed self (not at all stressed out like when we get him back from boarding). I seriously can't believe how incredible this service is. We got to have a relaxed happy dog, and we felt relaxed and reassured all vacation. Will OBVIOUSLY be using them again, probably sooner rather than later. Thank you Doggie Latchkey and Vanya!

We can't thank Gayle and Doggie Latchkey enough for helping us out with our vacation. Gayle stayed overnight with our dog for five nights and sent us updates everyday on how he was doing. Dog Latchkey has been a wonderful experience for me and my friendly, but dramatic 2 year old dog. After losing our long time dog Walker, we were so anxious about finding a new dog Walker because our dog can be very finicky and nervous at first. We were guided to an amazing dog Walker named Jess that was so patient with my pup’s needs. He warmed up to her immediately, and he now recognizes her name in excitement when she comes over. Denise is amazing at rescheduling visits and accommodating our often crazy schedules to ensure my dog always gets his walks. I can’t recommend Dog Latchkey enough!!!

Our experience with this pet sitting service has been wonderful. Denise was very friendly and helpful when I called for scheduling. We had the privilege of working with two different sitters in the last month. Both Nikki and Morgan were friendly, responsive, kept us updated with our pups activities and sent pictures. These sitters were very clean and courteous while in our home, followed instructions well, and our dogs were happy and healthy upon our return. We are quite attached to our dogs and having this amazing service gave us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy our trips.

I am able to rely on them for the care of my Roscoe while I take trips or if I need to work long hours. The texted reports and the pictures of my boy at each visit help to give me peace of mind. The team takes great care of him and are respectful of my home.

I have used Pet Sitters Plus, LLC for over 8 years and highly recommend them. Kathy and her team of wonderful people do an exceptional job. For the service they provide, they are reasonably priced. I consider my dogs family, and want them to have the best care and life experiences for as long as they have left. I have had fur-kids during this time period who have not always had the best start in life. A few have had special health considerations (glaucoma, vision impaired, and cancerous tumors). I have found Kathy and her team to be knowledgeable and more than willing to take responsibility for special feeding schedules and medication schedules. My fur-kids adore the people who stay at my home and come by for mid-day visits and walks. I am always left detailed notes of each visit and nightly home stays. My home is always well cared for and I have the peace of mind that someone is checking on my fur-kids and home well I am gone.

I have been using pet sitters plus for nearly 15 years now. Kathy and her team have been absolutely wonderful with taking care of my kitties. I do not entrust my fur babies to just anyone’s care. Kathy and her team of pet whisperers have been in business for many years serving the NE area of Grand Rapids, including Rockford, Comstock Park, Ada, and in my home area of Plainfield Township. Our pets are very much a member of the family, and PSP has been very good to pay attention to details for our senior pet to our newest pet family members ;). They are a one stop shop for pet sitting, dog walking, pet day care and they also take care of our flowers, plants, even grab the mail while we are away. I can't say enough how much it means to have a worry free time away from home knowing her professional pet care team is watching our fur-babies and our home. I started using Pet Sitters Plus in October 2017, and Kathy has brought great assurance and relief when I have to be away from my kitties and chickens. One of my cats has heart disease and takes a number of medication every day. Kathy keeps good communication so I don't have to worry while away.

I live in Rockford, Michigan and I called Pet Sitters to be my dog walker while I was at work. I never had to worry about our dog or my home. They are extremely responsible and always accessible - even to pet sit for those last-minute trips away. And since our dog walker was a dog trainer, she really worked on helping our rescue dog learn the proper walking etiquette. Something that really sets them apart is the constant communication. They leave lengthy write ups on what your pet did during the day, similar to a good child daycare. I highly recommend them for pet sitting services.

We've used Kathy for over 20 years and think she's the best. We call her the "dog whisperer" because she really understands dogs. She has cared for our dogs when we work, when we're on vacation, and during the holidays. We trust her implicitly not only with our precious dogs, but also with our home's security and contents. So appreciate that she is local! She leaves everything in better condition than when she arrived, and our dogs are always happy when they're with her. While we're away she'll send daily updates and even videos so we stay connected to our pooch. We think she's the AWESOME! NOTE: I just noticed someone gave Pet Sitters Plus a 1-star review based on an interview rather than actual service, which was strange until I noticed that the reviewer has given six other 1-star reviews and never a good review about anything.

I called and scheduled a meet and greet prior to hiring this pet walker service. The walk times are vague within an hour so be careful if you are scheduling a mid day potty walk time. Also the owner is not local she hires out pet sitters around the Lakeshore area. So no one is overseen to make sure the pet sitter is doing what they promise. I told the pet sitter I had a nanny cam but not set up yet and she acted real nervous and had many questions about if and when and where would I set it up, kind of weird behavior if you ask me. If I could give Kathy and her team 11 stars I would. I don't know what I would've done without them. I had a new puppy (Prim) that needed exercise and training. Kathy came to the rescue. For the past four years, PSP has always been reliable, dependable, trustworthy and loving to Prim (and she is a stinker). The PSP team always goes the extra mile to make sure Prim gets the exercise and care she needs. I never have to worry when I go out of town - in fact, Prim sees my suitcase and gets excited because she knows she is going to have some fun. I recommend them all the time to my friends and co-workers.

This group is incredible. I am not able to do 30 minute walks right now and they have come in with lots of love for my Maisie and walked her. In an emergency they saved me by taking care of her. They are absolutely the best. I trust them completely. I’m so so so grateful for them. Diane and Jen are just awesome. They are caring and compassionate. Maisie loves them! I recommend this group!!!! Scheduling is a snap. Payment is a snap.

I have used this service for almost two years now. They are true life savers!! My current sitter, Jenn, is absolutely AMAZING!!!! She takes the best care of my babies and I can tell she loves them like she loves her own fur babies. She will always let me know if there is something going on with one of them, a limp, a sore, the runs... one time she even stayed after her scheduled time just to stay with one of them until I got home because she wasn't feeling well! Jenn always goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. She tells me of the funny antics they do as well. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that Jenn, and petagree, will always be there for my Lexie, Ziggy and Zora. Matt, who I believe is the office manager, is also a pleasure to deal with if I need to make any last minute changes. It definitely feels like a family when working with them. I can't say enough good things about them. If Jenn can't take care of my pups one day, I have confidence my babies will still get a great sitter! They also never send anyone in blind. The sitter will always meet your dogs with your normal sitter first. Lastly, I also love the updates I get on their portal after every visit which even tells me how many times they went potty during the visit. And Jenn takes the most incredible photos with very in depth updates. I highly recommend petagree!!!!!!! I can't thank Jenn, and the pet agree team, enough for taking such great care of me and my pups.

Can't say enough good things about PetAgree. Weekday lunch breaks, random date nights, recently a longer trip, they alwsys take excellent care of our babies. Easy to schedule, great communication, and of course, super cute pics of my kids.

We are so very happy that we found Carla to look after our crew when we're not around. Not everyone feels comfortable with exotic animals but Carla does amazing with our parrot, macaw and kitties. She is amazingly thorough, kind and compassionate. She provides daily photos of her interacting with our animals as well as a detailed daily checklist of actions she performs. She also checks mail, waters plants and other very helpful services on top of just the animal care. My wife is very picky when finding folks to look after our crew.. So finding Carla was awesome. We'll never use another sitter.

Carla got down on the floor to coax out an anxious cat on her first visit. THAT is impressive! Appreciated the no-cost meet and greet. She sent photos of my cat while I was gone to make sure I didn’t worry. Left checklists so I know what had been done while I was gone. Affordable. Very grateful and will certainly call Moxie again.

She provided detailed text messages (and photos) while we were away, and upon our return we had a detaled checklist/progress report. 10/10 would recommend her services to anyone!

Carla, the owner was super caring to my very shy black cat. She ended up warming up to her instantly and Carla was patient, kind and gentle to my sweet fur baby. She also sent daily text updates and pictures which was very helpful. If you're thinking of a petsitter for your animal look no further, I definitely recommend Moxie Pet Care!

Carla took care of my two cats while I was out of town for a week. She was thorough, professional, and (very important for me as an anxious cat parent) highly communicative. Every day, I looked forward to her texts, updating me about how my cats were growing increasingly fond of her. She really went the extra mile to engage a very very shy cat. Having Carla taking care of them gave me so much peace of mind. She also took care of the house, including some fussy details that I worried would overwhelm, with ease and no problems at all. I would definitely recommend her and will ask her back the next time I need cat sitting!

Carla has been looking after my pets for years and I trust them and my home to her when I am on vacation. I have known her for years and she has a genuine love for animals that is evident in how well she treats them and how well they respond to her when I'm away. Pulse got to hang out with the great staff of Brookenelle. She has severe separation anxiety(being the true frenchie she is) so Brittany kept her by her side for most of her time there. I have never had a place take such great care of my baby. Thank you so much! 💕 …

My family has been boarding our dogs here at Brooknelle for years! After management changed we noticed so many new positive changes!! Brian and Brittany are so welcoming and make sure every pet there is well taken care of! They are making so many new improvements such as a whole new play room, grooming room, and another play yard! I’m so happy to have all the members of Brooknelle because they are truly great and I trust them!

Under new management and instituting new policies and services, Brooknelle has taken the angst out of leaving my furry family member when necessary. From the start, Brittany and Brian were ready to accommodate my pet’s needs and to ease the stress of leaving my dog behind. Each pet has its own space if that’s the vibe you’re looking for, but there is also opportunity to mingle with other pets. I have used boarding routinely at Brooknelle and feel that the attention each pet gets has changed the quality of my time away. I know that my dog will get all he needs and if there are questions about anything, I can be called. I like the fact that there are staff members onsite 24/7 and they work hard to acclimate pets to being away from home. By now I have used most of the services and couldn’t be happier. Constantly improving, Brooknelle feels like home. The welcoming atmosphere will have clients returning and I’m thrilled to see Brooknelle’s success.

Brooknelle is the BEST. My dog is particularly anxious and Brian and Brittany went out of their way to make him (and me) feel comfortable. They are extremely patient, welcoming, and kind. I take my dog there for daycare almost everyday while I’m at work and he loves it! Brooknelle has an awesome outdoor space which I love since I don’t have a backyard. My dog always comes home tired and happy :) All the staff care for the dogs so well and I completely trust them with my fur baby! Would highly recommend Brooknelle to all pet parents!!!

This is ABSOLUTELY the best place to take your pet. You KNOW that your family member, your baby is taken care of and loved! The staff are incredibly nice and caring. Stephanie, is so loved by our dog. It gives you (owner) a sense of comfort when having to leave them. FAST FORWARD TO MOST RECENT : September 11th, 2024 Unfortunately, it is not that way now. The new people that came in seem like they don’t even like dogs. When Stephanie was there, she let out dog go off to the side office and just relax a little because he was shaking. It was what he was used to. The last time we took him for just his nails to be trimmed, he wasn’t allowed to go into the side office where he was trying to go. The two younger employees were just pulling on his collar that was pulling harder around his neck and he was crying. Once they got him through the door, the young gentleman just closed the door as if it made it better that I couldn’t see him. Our dog had been going there for years. They even asked me for a record of his shots… I was perplexed at how they didn’t even have those on file. We won’t be going back to Brooknelle for kenneling, nail trimming, anything. It is not the same without Stephanie.

I had such a positive experience at Brooknelle last weekend! I had used this facility 8 months ago and it was OK. I was so impressed with how the new management has made many upgrades . Managers Brian & Brittany, along with their staff were so attentive to my dog Sadie's needs. When I picked her up after a long weekend stay, Sadie didn't want to leave! She was so well cared for & I plan on using Brooknell for all my future travels. Thank you for your kind & compassionate care of Sadie!!

Or any other place that I would want to leave my best friend. They do such an incredible job with my dog. Every time I drop him off he's so excited to be there and he's welcomed like he's part of their family. I highly recommend Brooknelle pet hotel!

Stopped in and saw Brian and Brittany at the updated Brooknelle Pet Hotel and was very impressed with all the different updates they have completed and got a sneak peak at some of the additional updates they are making!! This has greatly increased my kids chance of getting another dog because I now have a place that I know will care and love them as much as we love our pets when I’m traveling for work
