I can’t tell you how lucky I feel that Barbara and John were available for my housesit. They were so fabulous on their first sit two years ago that I actually reached out to them to see if they would sit for me again on this trip – luckily they were! My cat is very fond of both of them. It was also wonderful to come home to a meticulously clean house, especially after a 27 hour travel day. They even bought fresh milk, eggs and bread so we would not have to run out first thing when we got home. Barb and John will continue to be my first choice whenever we travel!

She always sends delightful pics of Bert and Ollie and Piper and Lucy and this time was no different - lots of action pics of the pups running on the island behind our house and I could almost smell the pic of whatever Burt rolled in. Thank goodness for the outdoor shower. Jessica cheerfully endured a sit where she had to deal with a lot of rainy weather and a dog who likes to go on walks regardless of the weather - he’s a Lab, so I think he actually enjoys the rain! She maintained such a good attitude about everything and she sent several photos of the two of them snuggling on the couch when they were stuck indoors. I should also mention that she is excellent with communication during the sit, and she left my house very neat and clean. I felt that Hudson got lots of loving attention and was very well-cared-for. I would recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a great sitter!

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue.
