I am so happy to find Amazing Tails. I left my 2 dogs there over the weekend and they came home happy and clean. I had boarded another place in the past and one of dogs hid under the bed for a month after his experience somewhere else. Demi did a great job! It is nice to know that I can leave my pups there and not worry about them.

I just started bringing my two Boykin Spaniels here this week for doggy day care and it has been a great experience for me & the boys. Amazing Tails is a welcoming environment on serene farm land. Demi is friendly, hospitable and very easy going. She has tons of experience so I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs in her care. I could tell they loved it right from the start. Demi also has great communication about my dogs which I find helpful. I love knowing my dogs get one on one interaction. Her rates are fair and it’s definitely worth every penny.

Amazing tails has been a great place to board chief when I go out of town . The place is clean and the owner really cares for dogs .... I've used amazing tails numerous times and have always been happy .

Brought my very spoiled large dog to Amazing Tails and she acted like she was home and very relaxed. The place was clean and Demi is always checking on everything. She is a very hard worker. Loves the dogs and my dog will be back to visit. I trust her with my baby.

I was very nervous at first to leave my 8 month puppy at daycare while my husband and I went house hunting. Demi was very thoughtful and sent me 3 videos of Otto playing with other dog guest. Amazing Tails was clean and Otto felt very comfortable. Demi is friendly, hospitable and very easy going. I now don’t have any sadness leaving Otto with Demi for daycare. Otto was excited to see me when I picked him up and fell asleep in the car before I could get my car in reverse. Thank you for taking such good care of Prince Otto.

Very first time I had to board my 8 month old Golden Retriever. I was worried! Tucker had a great time playing with the other dogs. Demi took great care of Tucker for a long weekend. Highly recommend. Nice to know while you’re out of town your family pet will be in good hands.

Left our dog with this awful woman for 3 days. We sent her with over a weeks worth of food and treats, she returned nothing to me saying it was gone. Most importantly when I picked up my dog she was limping pretty badly, while I understand things happen she failed to mention it to me upon pickup. Also when I paid the $195 cash I needed change for $200 and she said “well you can always tip me”. Really? I later contacted her respectfully regarding my dogs injuries as well as returning some ear drops and was met with an awful condescending attitude. Expletives I will not write on a public page. I would not trust my beloved dog with this woman ever again and you shouldn’t either. I’m so grateful nothing worse happens as she doesn’t even seem to check on the dogs she’s “watching” until at least 2 pm. Overpriced for a mediocre “service”. Seems to be run by a crazy/drunk woman. Look elsewhere for care of your 4 legged family members!

Demi was so great with our Luna! Luna girl had so much fun staying at Amazing Tails, we will definitely be back! Super easy to work with, easy to get her signed up, all around great place!

I have a 10 month old pug. Last minute we decided to go out of town and the kennel I had previously used with no problems was booked. After a quick google search I found this one. Communication went well and she agreed to accept him for the weekend. Although drop off was a bit strange. She is an older lady and I could see some forgetfulness as she repeatedly asked the same questions. Still I left and felt comfortable. It’s a cash only business so that in itself can be a bit sketchy but I still withdrew the cash to pay. When I picked him up she was very rude and said he was completely out of control. She said she wouldn’t even go near him because he jumps up on her. Even though the other dogs there do the same as they all jumped up on me when I dropped him off. She said she just threw his bones in the kennel to him. I asked if she had change for a $20 and she said no and she didn’t have time to go get change. So she got a very nice tip on top of basically telling me how out of control my puppy was and letting me know she had very little contact with him. I would definitely really think twice about this place as I won’t use it again. She seems like a difficult woman and maybe suffering from some onset dementia?! I fully expect her to negatively respond to this as she does to anyone else that’s complained about her services. Just know mam that I won’t read your response. I’m simply just wanting to warn anyone that may be considering this facility in the future.

So happy we found Amazing Tails. My 2 1/2 year old yellow lab loves Demi and seems to really enjoy his time there. Demi is very caring and helpful and is helping me work out some issues with my dog’s barking when she leaves him alone. This is all new to him but we are slowly working it out and we greatly appreciate her help and concerns.

We had to go out of town and could not bring our 11 month old pup with us. We work from home so she is really not left alone. We had to find someone who would be able to give her the attention she is used to. Cathy and Joy were fantastic. We met prior to dropping off our pup. Coral instantly made herself at home. They invited coral into their home and treated her as if she was their own. Coral had a great time, and Cathy kept me updated the whole week Coral was there. You have peace of mind knowing your fur baby is in good hands. I highly recommend them for all of your pet sitting needs.

Paradise Pet Sitters are absolutely perfect! They are kind and thoughtful and take wonderful care of my Newfie. She is big and doppy and has some health issues, but they handle her with grace and patience. She comes home happy and healthy. I wish I would have found them sooner! We 100% trust leaving Willow with them. We already scheduled her for 2 more stays. I am so very grateful to them.

I am so thankful we found Joy and Cathy for our 3 pups and cat. We hired them for drop ins while away and they sent updates and pictures every time. She sends us photos of our 2 little guys everyday, she checks our mail, takes out trash and returns the trash can to the designated area, cleans up after the dogs I used to feel so guilty about leaving my pets home, and now, it is much easier to travel. Joy & Cathy did an amazing job with our fur kids! We were so nervous about leaving them while we went on a trip but Joy assured us she would care for them as her own, and she followed through on that! Our two fur kids came to adore Joy! Joy and Cathy were highly recommended to us by a family member and we absolutely love them! They have been great to work with and send lots of updates and photos. We have a 1 year old miniature schnauzer who is very timid and scared of everything/everyone. They are extremely patient with him and it has thoroughly impressed me with how well he has taken to them. It’s nice to know that when we are away from home, the boys are well taken care of!

I've been taking my yorkie there for 6 years and my shitzu for 4 years. The owner and staff are wonderful. They take great care of my "girls" whether they're there for daycare, grooming, or boarding. I have never had a reason to complain...only praise. That is even more needed now after hurricanes Helene and then Milton hit within two weeks of each other. Since I needed to evacuate I felt confident in leaving them at Critter Cottage. I felt they were safer there than with me, never thinking that zone C would have been included under mandatory evacuation. When they had to evacuate they took all 11 dogs and 9 cats with them. That's impressive and I'm so happy I found and trust Critter Cottage with my "girls". Thank you for your hardwork and dedication to the animal kingdom. You've helped me in more ways than I can count.

I brought my dogs in to get groomed. Cut, bathed, nails. Told them to leave the head and tail a bit longer then the rest - they didn’t even cut or trim them up. Ones ears were not cleaned out nor trimmed (long hair on them - easily mattes) was told to cut on a two but found out they were cut on a five. Paid 250. Not at all worth it. Never paid so much for grooming. Very disappointing.

After seeing the many reviews and “likes” of reviews where animals were harmed while being groomed - I requested to be present for our dogs grooming the first few times . At first they lied and said it was an insurance issue and then said it was owners rules. All things considered, this does not appear to be a safe grooming service.

Charged over 25% more for groom than in the past without warning. Told it was because manager decided I had been "given a break for too long." The real story is Valerie has been grooming my Newfoundland since April. Our first visit took longer because she had not been groomed for awhile. I paid extra that first groom because it took longer. Valerie on her own volition told me that if I would bring my dog in every 6 weeks, it would take her less time and she would charge me for accordingly for less time it would take to groom. Thus, the price I had been paying was for time spent and more frequency, rather than having been given any break in price. Today I was called for pick up four hours after dropoff. Valerie would take 2-2.5 hours. I was informed that Valerie had left no notes so they just assumed I had been "getting away without paying enough" (their words, not mine) even though they admit that they had no idea that Valerie took about half the time to groom her because I was bringing my dog in more frequently. And she looked awesome every time Valerie groomed her (I was told that the only thing they could think was Valerie did not do as good of job. Seriously?) And if they had said my dog took longer to groom today for a legit reason, I would have been ok with that. But to start out with treating me like I have "gotten away" with something when the manager admits she did not have all the information is completely disappointing. I always had a great experience with Valerie and had loved taking my dogs here for the past 5 months. Valerie is now gone.

I took my 15 week old Doodle for grooming after an unsuccessful attempt at Pet Smart in Maryland When I picked her up at the Critter Cottage , I was astounded by how great she looked. I didn't expect her to look so good as I assumed she would be antsy and difficult to groom. I can't say enough positive things about her groomer that did an amazing job

Great experience with the mobile grooming wish I could remember names. She did a great job with our pups 1st experience with grooming highly recommend her!

Love critter Cottage clean and a great place for boarding animals dogs loved it there and me too

No veterinary care is accessible through Critter Cottage if there is an emergency. My 3 nine year old toy poodles went in for grooming. One died there. He has been under loving care and medical care his whole life, with visits to a vet in December for allergies, and with his eye doctor in October. He was the last gift from our daughter who was murdered in a mass murder. I am devastated, and can't stand the thought that he died without me. I have been with every one of my dogs at their last breath for approx. 50 years. This was a horror. No veterinary care is accessible through Critter Cottage. One of the other poodles has been quivering for the 2 weeks since her "brother" died, and since her grooming. She doesn't only curl up next to me, she presses hard against me. We will only ever know one thing for sure, My little Clark Kent died 3 hours after a normal morning of food, treats, and potty while he was there. Clark did not deserve this. Though he was wrapped in a blanket, I was shocked and sickened that they handed him to me in a cardboard box. I am glad I had my friend with me to observe everything. I thought Clark would be with me for the last chapter of our lives. Everyone who knew Clark adored him, and his opthamologist, who had just examined him 3 months earlier, comforted me and cried in disbelief. I will never forget that he was still warm, and his eyes open like he knew I was there, and asking, "Mommy, what just happened to me? We were having such a good day."

I had a great experience from the moment I called to check availability for boarding. It was short notice on a holiday weekend but Sue was available. I was coming from Alabama so Sue keep great communication with me as I traveled. She gave me clear and details directions on how to get there and to access her gate. Bosoce loved her and she sent me pictures and updates all weekend. We love her and will definitely use her again when we come back to Florida.

It was such a pleasure to meet Deborah. Our dog Ben took to her right away. We didn't mind leaving our dog with her at all, and knew he was in great hands. We feel like she is now a friend , we hope to see her again, when we come to Florida. I would recommend her to anybody, she is a wonderful person, great to talk to very professional!

Our dog has been going to Wag Watchers for years. They treat her with loving care and gets so excited every time she visits. There is no guilt when leaving her there as she has such a good time. I feel comfortable knowing that they will administer any medications that my baby needs.

Lesley ‘s business has provided my cat sitting for over 5 years and the last 2 years she personally has looked after them up to 10 weeks at a time. She can be trusted to do an excellent job each time sending me pictures each visit in a text and telling me how they are doing that particular day. I am extremely happy with the care she provides when I am away.

Leslie was great with my dog Mocha! He gets nervous around new people, but Leslie was kind and patient with him while he adjusted to spending time with her. She was able to help care for him during my long work shifts and kept me updated throughout the day.

Walter and his crew are amazing. Our dog has done overnights a few times and I often wonder if our pup is sad to see us come get him. There is great communication and care throughout the entire stay. So thankful for this great company, highly recommend this company and their services!

Fetch! Pet Care Sarasota is awesome! Our cat sitter not only fed our cats and cleaned their litterbox, he also provided mental stimulation and physical exercise each day. Lots of photos were taken and really made us feel comfortable while we were away. I would HIGHLY reccomend!!!

I have used Fetch Pet Care for over 3 years and have never been disappointed with the care provided. Most recently, Tammie and Sara provided extended coverage sending daily updates and pictures of my feline “children “. They took care to ensure our home was clean of the kitty litter which the cats tend to track around. They provided additional services such as watering our plants and setting out the garbage as we left a few days before. They even asked if they should be getting the mail though we had stopped it. It’s a comfortable feeling knowing we can leave and our loved ones are being well taken care of.

My dogs both have special needs, one has tons of allergies and the other one has hip dysplasia and arthritis. Walt and Jillian are really good at following all the medicine and individualized feeding instructions both of my dogs have, and its a lot! Plus they have a very dog friendly home and they spoil my dogs with love while they are boarded there.

Faith is great and wishing her the best! Took great care of our three kitties multiple times, especially our senior cat. Communicative, timely and truly cares.

Faith has been my pet sitter for close to 4 years to my 2 babies. (Georgie and Mouse). We miss her terribly. (We are in NJ). She is responsible and will always be there on time. Or call you with any concerns she has. She will always send you an update daily after or during her visit with your animals. She will bring in any packages left by your front door and has even gone so far as to bring in my garbage cans! (That’s what I call service!). She loves her animals (and yours) with all of her heart and will go out of her way to help you and your fur babies. Her rates are incredibly reasonable for the service she provides. I will always continue to give her the highest rating. Ever.

I have known the owner (Faith) of this business for over 30 years. I have used her services on multiple occasions to care for my Vizsla and Husky. As a police officer, I don’t trust too many people to come into my home without anybody there. I never had to worry about that with Faith. Faith provided wonderful care for our kitties, even building them a special box and paper fort. She provided daily updates and went out of her way to problem solve an issue with our freezer when she heard water dripping in it. We highly recommend her services and care for any fur baby. We’ll definitely invite her back!

Our Boston Terriers were always well cared for each day. We were able to have complete trust in the owner. We could also go on vacation knowing they were in the best hands, and that our home would be looked after and kept secure. When one of the Bostons came to need medication on a set schedule, we were able to rely on the owner to administer it on time.

Faith took good care of my cats while I was out of town. They were all relaxed and happy when I returned. It means the world to me to know they're not stressed while I'm away. She was great about keeping in contact too.

Cheyenne watched me two dogs in her home while I had a trip out of town. She has previously helped with walks and met them at my home, but this was my first time using her as a sitter. I'm always nervous with new sitters but she did an amazing job and my dogs clearly had a wonderful time! I appreciated how thorough her paperwork was at getting health information, preferences, etc. Super professional. She gave me updates while I was gone at the perfect frequency and I had complete confidence that everything was going well. 10/10, highly recommend, would absolutely use again!

Kaitlin Newman is amazing! As someone new to the Port Charlotte area and working long hours I was nervous bringing a new walker into my home. Once meeting Kaitlin those worried were instantly over. Jacque (my French Bulldog) can be a handful at time but Kaitlin took on the challenge. She treats Jacque as if he is her own. She finds joy in each and every visit with Jacque. Additionally, her communication is never lacking. She makes me aware if she will be running behind or if there is something alarming going on with Jacque. I look forward to her summary and photos daily, which is always lovely to receive during a stressful work day. Kaitlin has even hosted Jacque for two overnight boarding session in which he has been on his best behavior. Jacque is not socialized often with other dogs, so I feared having him around 5 other dogs at once but Kaitlin had no issues acclimating Jacque to the new environment. I knew he had the best of time when he would get home and sleep for the rest of evening and was even unwilling to do his usual walks the following day due to the fun filled weekend. I highly recommend Kaitlin and the Shiney Day company!

Cheyenne has taken care of my two house rabbits many times over the past several years. Between her vet tech expertise, her love of animals of all kinds and her super organized scheduling/communication platform, I always know the rabbits are in good hands. Cheyenne is the best! I trust her completely when I am away from my fur babies and they love her. Very good at communication.

Cheyenne is great! We were searching for a sitter who could take care of our furbabies while we are out of town. We have 2 aging cats with minor health issues. We feel totally at ease leaving them in Cheyenne's care. She is not only very responsive and reliable, but she also would know what to do if our cats had any health issues while we are gone. And she keeps you informed with notes and pictures every time she visits your pets. Extremely professional service, website is easy to navigate and user friendly for scheduling. Extensive feedback is provided with each visit, all for a very generous price for what is given. I feel more than comfortable with Cheyenne being responsible for the scheduled visit, along with her being in my home and taking care of my dog. Cheyenne and Shiney Day Pet Care are the best! Not only was she extremely quick with communication but also very accommodating with last minute changes. She loves animals so much, which makes me happy as an owner because then I know my cats are in good hands. And if you have a sick animal, she knows how to take care of them. It’s nice to have someone taking care of your animals who you can also seek ask advice from. My cat was extreme my old and sick when Cheyenne gave her the best care and helped me with figuring out what was best for her.

Wonderful company and people. Shelly and Diane were absolutely amazing when I needed help with watching my kitty Quinston! I never felt the need to worry. I have used Wag Watchers for over 17 years now. I would not feel comfortable going on vacation if it was not for them. Both of my pets have benefited from being away from home in their second home. They have always loved and treated my pets as if they were their own.

Having just moved to the area from Ohio we were not familiar with anyone to watch our cats and home while we took a long weekend trip to the Keys. Wag Watchers was recommended to us by one of my husband's co-workers. What a wonderful job they did. From initial meeting until our return home everything was beyond expectations. We will certainly be repeat clients.

Although the business advertises a commercial location on Kings Hwy it is basically nothing more than a mail drop. The actual business centers around offering boarding from residential homes in the area as an alternative to a professionally maintained, regulated and licensed pet care facility. This is a violation of Charlotte County Zoning Ordinances. Essentially each home is an illegal dog kennel operating in violation of Charlotte County zoning ordinances. Code enforcement has already visited the business owner and provided notice that that the operation of an unlicensed, non regulated and illegal kennel from a residential home is not permitted. Code enforcement will visit again. If your dogs are there when code enforcement arrives you risk having your animals confiscated by animal control till such time as you will be able to prove ownership and pick them up. If you have any questions about the legitimacy of this business please feel free to call Charlotte County Code Compliance. Remember a Kennel is “any establishment, other than an animal shelter, where dogs or cats are maintained for boarding, holding, training, or similar purposes for a fee or compensation.” This includes individuals who keep pets at their homes and charge for those services. As this is prohibited, all of these operations are unlicensed and therefore illegal.

Please be aware when you hire someone to come twice and they only show once cause the cameras made me well aware of what was happening. Use caution on who you hire from this company. I see your reply below Michael and believe me it was you. And I'm pretty sure you dont want me to go further with the actual details but let me refresh your memory it wasn't in the past 30 days and it was to care for one dog. And you were paid for twice and you came once. It was you and I'm so hurt by the whole thing still and I truly hope your not doing this to anymore animals.

Wag Watchers is usually just the "middle man" to who's actually caring & taking care of your pet/pets. If you want great pet sitting/walking I suggest you find and research someone you trust and care to take care of your fur babies.

I needed a last minute pet sitter for my 2 cats since my regular pet sitter told me 2 days before my trip she was busy. I found Wag Watchers and they came to the rescue. Thank you Mike and Lisa!
