Also came back to a tidy flat which was lovely after a long flight. Throughout the whole process Heather and Tim were on their game. They had great questions during the interview and made us comfortable booking them so far in advance. They maintained contact coming up to the visit. We were never worried about Ada while away as we got lots of updates - when she got sick they kept us updated and her well looked after. Very friendly and easy to chat to! Thanks to Carolyn, our confidence was restored after a rather disappointing first experience. We confirmed the house sit with Carolyn just 3 weeks prior to our vacation as our first sitter had to cancel due to a medical emergency. During our first meeting we felt comfortable with Carolyne, she was professional, pleasant and very forth coming with the possibility she may need to cancel due to a personal situation. Given the short time till our vacation, we decided to confirm with the understanding we had a backup plan if needed. We were so lucky it all worked out, Carolyn was very independent, she had read the welcome package throughly and as such she was very prepared for the visit. She communicated with us as needed ( we didn't expect daily emails) with either questions and or updates and was quick to respond to any of our texts. We returned home late in the evening to a very clean and tidy house and a dog that was happy and well cared for. We would definitely invite Carolyn again and recommend her for house sits without hesitation.

Heather and Stephen looked after Poppy our much loved dog when we went away to spend Christmas with our family. We enjoyed their company both before we left and after we returned. They took excellent care of our dog and home and sent us regular updates. The car was fully fuelled and the fridge was stocked when we returned. We would happily have them back again.

I was thrilled Katie was available for a last minute overnight sit with Baloo. Katie was available ahead of time to go over the meds and special attention Baloo requires. She was proactive in asking questions and I felt very comfortable leaving her in charge of my big guy and my home. Katie was communicative (sending texts and pics) and I returned to a tidy home and a happy Baloo. I would definitely ask Katie to sit again and I would trust her for a longer sit as well.

Pablo, from the outset was a breath of fresh air. He respected and cared for our home and 2 dogs for approximately 3weeks. He kept in touch and when we returned we could tell that the dogs had grown extremely fond of him, our home was clean, and our neighbor loved interacting with him. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

I felt that my dogs were in good hands with Billy & Cherice - both pups seemed happy and well cared for when I returned from my 3-week trip. My home was also clean and tidy. This was my first experience using an unknown sitter and I felt nervous to leave my dogs for so long while traveling abroad. If they were to stay again I would request more regular photo updates, but otherwise was very happy with Billy and Cherice's pet and home care.

Not only did Krista take great care of our cat while we were away, she left the house cleaner than she found it. She also kept in touch with occasional photos and videos of kitty antics, which gave me peace of mind that the cat was well-cared for. Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Andrea was the perfect sitter for our older Italian Greyhound and our shy cat. She followed every request to a “t”, and helped us to feel comfortable and care free for a long zeewoi. The communication of photos and videos were a warm reminder of how well they had been adjusting to our absence. Andrea showed care and consistent compassion for Darcy and Hammy. She seemed to enjoy them and our home as much as us! We returned to an absolutely spotless home, without anything left undone. Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies.
