We were lucky enough to have Dede sit our house and yellow lab for a little more than two weeks. She treated our house as if it were her own and did an outstanding job looking after our three year old yellow lab, providing the requisite exercise for her, as well as the love and attention she so craves. Our home was spotless upon our return with everything in order and although our pup was happy to see us, she may have been a little sad to see Dede go. Christina was great! She is a great communicator and kept us updated on Copper and our house. She went above and beyond when our fridge pipe burst too and made sure the water was turned off, and had towels and buckets around the house until we could get home to take care of it. Friendly, Responsible Pet Sitter looking to Travel while Working Remotely
From a pet sitting aspect we were not unsatisfied with Sara. Our dogs seemed happy and our chickens were also tended to well. However, from a house sit I will say we were disappointed with a few things. There was a bad storm the day before we left and we requested some photos of the damage to our property that was done. I asked multiple times and never received what I asked for after saying she would send it. We also agreed to daily updates in form of text or pictures of the animals and I did go the first couple days without reliable communication which didn’t sit well with me. As for the state of the house upon return, while it was mostly clean, one of our curtain rods was ripped from the wall. I wouldn’t have been upset had we just been notified of the repair that needed to be done but she never even told us that she broke anything in the house it was just left. She also very clearly rummaged through our drawers and took brand new unopened toiletries from areas that we did not specify she could use and she never reached out asking if it would be ok to take.

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.

We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue. He cleaned up the messes and I came home to a clean house and VERY happy babies! My two dogs LOVED him. He is extremely reliable, clean, trustworthy and was incredibly caring to my dogs. We brought our dogs to be boarded for several days and the staff was very friendly. The main entry area is all we seen and it appeared kept and appropriately maintained. Pickup and drop off was easy and there is ample parking. There are several things that have caused a 3 star vs a 5. This is my experience and it certainly doesn’t mean all will have the same experience. We picked up our dogs and they appeared to be physically fine at that time. The one thing that was clearly evident was they needed a bath right away. The foul smell coming from them was strong and foul. The longer term issue, which I will say cannot 100% be attributed to the stay is they both came down with some type of sickness a week afterwards, which they have never had before. They both now have extremely runny noses with congestion and a loss of appetite. A vet visit is now in our future unfortunately. Based on these things, we will most likely look for another dog kennel the next time we are in need.

We bring our dog Scout to Kass's somewhat often! She LOVES it there so they must do a great job. Having grooming services available is great too. They usually have availability somewhat last minute too which has been a godsend for us on the occasional night out. Sad that daycare is going away, but Kass's will still be our number one go to for boarding regardless! Staff is very responsive and kind and I love all the pictures they post!
Kass's Kennel is 40 minutes out of the way for us, but completely worth it! We trust Kass and her staff so much. The peace of mind knowing our fur babies are well taken care of is just priceless. Kass truly cares about the dogs and ensures that play groups are appropriate for each dog's personalities and needs.
Kass's Kennel is awesome! We boarded 3 dogs while we went on a trip. Our dogs had never been boarded before and I was super nervous as our dogs can be painful and had some special needs, but Kass took it all in stride and communicated with us throughout our trip and posted photos of our dogs regularly to the Facebook page, and our dogs had an absolute blast staying here!!! Highly highly recommend!!
We're so glad we found Kass's kennel. Our dogs love it there, we've boarded them there multiple times and they've always come back healthy, relaxed and well taken care of. The premises are clean and organized.
The Mrs. and I used the long term boarding service recently when we went on vacation. The staff were warm and welcoming and our dog seemed to approve as well. Nice clean facility and it has separate areas for antisocial dogs, such as ours. She seemed happy after a week of being there and the price was on par with standard boarding prices. I highly recommend them if you are in the Hastings area.
