I highly recommend Sharon & can’t think of anyone I’d rather have stay with my pets. She is wonderful & did everything in her power to make sure we had an enjoyable trip before she even arrived. We came home to a clean house & very content dog. From first greet at the door, it was like Cleo had known Sharon for years. He can be a little bit standoffish sometimes, so that says a lot about her. He was treated like a king. Sharon was focused on Cleo & took the time to do all the activities he loves to do everyday (a long list) & provided lots of updates. Cleo is obviously disappointed. Sharon has left. Hoping she will come for another visit soon!

She handled our strong-willed Pyrenees, Wally, with ease, showing great patience and understanding of his quirks. I felt that my dogs were in good hands with Billy & Cherice - both pups seemed happy and well cared for when I returned from my 3-week trip. My home was also clean and tidy. This was my first experience using an unknown sitter and I felt nervous to leave my dogs for so long while traveling abroad. If they were to stay again I would request more regular photo updates, but otherwise was very happy with Billy and Cherice's pet and home care.

Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!

Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.

Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)

David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.

Our beagle is 3 years old and we’ve never left him for an overnight. I was very anxious. Charity helped calm my nerves and had an excellent understanding of our dog’s special needs and medication. The kennel was very clean and each dog has its own fenced in run. She also gives every dog some one on one time. Charity requires that all dogs are up to date on vaccines, including a yearly stool test for worms. At pick up, our dog was healthy and happy. We will definitely use Maplewood for all of our boarding needs.
Great place to board your pet. Charity is knowledgeable and provides individual care based on your pet's needs. We are very pleased with the care our sometimes-difficult dog receives while under her care.

Clean, country setting, nice layout. Close to Boonville, Tug Hill plateau, Adirondack park. Great place for my animals to stay when I have to travel or cannot take animals with me. Owner requires all animals are up to date on shots, so it's another reassurance my animals are safe and cared for.
I really did not want to kennel my dog, but I knew I would be going away many weekends to places my fur-baby couldn't go. Other kennels have set hours and seemed so impersonal, I started looking for something better for my best buddy. The woman who owns Maplewoods Kennel is real knowledgeable, nice and she really took the time to help me with all my concerns. She also tries real hard to work with me on drop off and pick up times. The kennels are clean and nice and in a nice location. I highly recommend Mapplewoods Kennel to anyone who needs to kennel their furry friends.
I was nervous to leave my baby for the first time but he did great. The place is very clean, and in a great nature setting. Thank you to the people that took care of him!

We are so lucky to have found Angel! Our 2 labs have had their fair share of visits to her through all of our recent travels. She keeps us updated on their activities and sends ample photos/videos of them throughout the day. We feel so comfortable leaving our boys with her, not having to worry about a thing. She loves them just like her own! They come home happy and exhausted. Truly 5+ stars and far worth the 1 hour drive to bring our pups to her. She even sent us photos of our boys wearing bandanas on our wedding day!!
Spent a long time googling/reading reviews searching for the best dog sitter for our boy while we went away for a few days. Can definitely say we 100% found the very best and couldn't be happier! 😄 Was very nervous about leaving our pup with a "stranger" but instantly felt relief and knew he was in wonderful hands the second we met Angel. She is so kind, friendly, well organized and you can just tell how much she loves what she does (and also knows what shes doing). She truly makes sure the pups are safe and having the best spoiled time while in her care! Our pup instantly loved her, made himself right at home and truly her backyard is a little doggy heaven! 😄 It was very clear our pup was very well taken care of, loved, spoiled, got alot of play time in with his new friends and had the very best time! Angel is a great Sitter. She took care of our boys for 9 days, 1.5yr old Rotti ,and 2yr old English Bulldog. She came to our home checking on our boys while she was house dog sitting nearby. She took our boys home with her and they had a great time in her Backyard Playpen. Angel sent pictures & Videos that eased any worries we had. She is the one to choose when seeking a Dog Sitter you can trust . Our boys were introduced to her pack and from the videos she sent they did Fantastic 🐾.
