As a first time user to the app and a generally anxious person- our first housesit was causing me quite a bit of nerves- which all faded the moment I “met” Brittany over a FaceTime call. Her friendly demeanor, experience with animals and openness immediately eased my mind. Brittany is flexible, easy to communicate with and quick to respond to messages. She was instantly friends with our sometimes grumpy elderly dog, and our young dog was thrilled to have a playmate in her little dog, Nala. Our old house has some quirks, and the pool has maintenance all of which she took on without batting an eye. We received updates and pictures over our two week trip and returned to an absolutely spotless house, complete with freshly laundered linens and bath mats. Our animals were calm, relaxed and happy. We would be thrilled to host Brittany again and anyone who has the opportunity to have her house sit for them should consider themselves hugely blessed!

Unbelievably great experience. I'd award 10 stars not just 5!! I can't speak highly enough of Pat! She amazing from the get go - it was our first time with a house sitter and so we zoomed with Pat soon after agreeing dates and she really put us at ease. Pat reassured us with proof of her flight and trip details and then we kept in touch via Whatsapp. Pat came to stay with us a couple of days before we left and was absolutely brilliant with our dog Bagel. She was literally like a dog whisperer!! ;-) Just the loveliest most thoughtful person, but also relaxed and with a great sense of humour too! We didn't worry once about being away and Pat kept in touch regularly. We came back to the cleanest house I have ever seen!! (Pat had even planted a rose bush for us which had arrived as a gift just before we left!!) Just a brilliant experience from beginning to end. Thank you so so so so so much Pat!! This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip! From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative. He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay. While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby! When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom. I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue. He cleaned up the messes and I came home to a clean house and VERY happy babies! My two dogs LOVED him. He is extremely reliable, clean, trustworthy and was incredibly caring to my dogs. This was our first time boarding our dogs and with 4 dogs which a couple don't get along they were extremely professional and listened to all of our concerns. Very friendly folks. They love the pups and are attentive to their needs. The owner is very responsive to texts about scheduling and their hours are very helpful if you don't have a 9-5 job. My little dog started going to Dog DayZ Inn a year ago and her ability to socialize with other dogs has markedly improved. I am comfortable taking her to dog parks now knowing she has the skills to play well with other dogs thanks to the folks at Dog DayZ Inn!

My dog got very sick after staying here, was underfed, smelled/stained, had a skin infection, new scars, and is now extremely anxious when placed in a crate. I’ve been too worried to speak up; I trusted my dog in their care and feel so guilty for unintentionally putting my dog through this. These people were supposed to take care of my baby and they didn’t. I just truly don’t want this to happen to anyone else. This place is clearly not a clean, healthy, or safe environment and I’ve heard this and worse things from a lot of people who brought their dogs here. It makes me so sick to my stomach knowing my dog and probably so many others were and are so badly mistreated.
I was referred here by my mother and a friend confirmed how great Kim and her staff are. It still takes my GSD a moment to go in when we need to board him but the staff are patient and do their best to help him gain confidence. He always comes home happy and tired His socializing skills have improved since he goes there (not often) and he LOVES to play. The rates are competitive and I never hesitate to take my dog there.

Roscoe comes home, tuckered out from the play he gets during the day and when I have to board him, I know he is well taken care of. Spending time here is an important part of his routine. I have been boarding my dogs to Stay and Play for a few years now and I can truly say that Charlotte welcomes them with open arms and my dogs look forward to staying over. They come home happy and well cared for. Food and medicines are properly administered and I always get great feedback from Charlotte about my dogs well-being. Doesn't this picture (taken by Charlotte) say it all? We have been leaving our Grace at Stay & Play for day visits for a couple of months, to give her the chance to play with other dogs, and she has loved it. We were completely comfortable leaving her for an extended stay - we knew she would be taken well care of by people who love her- and that she would have a blast! She came home clean (I recommend the spa treatment too), tired, and so happy. Thank you, Charlotte! EDIT: November 2022 - Grace just had her second extended stay; she has also had a couple of overnights and we try to get her to daycare twice a week. Her tail starts wagging as soon as she realizes where we're going and it's still going strong when we pick her up. She loves the people and the other dogs - and so do we! 5 stars x infinity!!! EDIT: September 2023 - Grace could have traveled with us and stayed in strange places with strange people....or she could have a ten-day play date with her best friends (dog and human!), running around outside in perfect weather and soaking up love and attention. It's a no-brainer! She came home happy, sparkling clean, and tired. So much more than a place to board - Stay and Play is truly our girl's home away from home.

Dogs are NEGLECTED! Please do not leave your beloved furry family member here, it is not a risk worth taking. I left my 2 furry loved ones at Stay & Play and when I picked them up, one looked as if she had been stranded in the woods alone all week. Her fur was in such a horrible scary state. I asked if she had been brushed all week, she said no. I asked why not, she is in her shedding season and needs to be brushed, as I had told her when I dropped them off, that I brush them every day, or 2 at the most. When I asked why they were not brushed upon pick up, she said that was extra. First, caring for a dog should include brushing as needed, where in this case it was and second, if there was a fee, she should have said, we can brush her but it is extra. She never said that or called me saying that she really needed to be brushed. My poor little dog suffered terribly all week with itching and no care, as a result her skin is flaking. I am crying as I look at her. That is not only neglectful but I feel it is abuse, my dog was needlessly forced to suffer because she could not properly care for her. She told me my dog was like that when I dropped her off, this is a complete lie and I encourage her to pull a still picture from her video camera, as that will prove this is false. Her website says she will take excellent care of your dog, that is deceptive advertising . It also appears she left their harnesses on all week as her hair and skin issues stop at the harness. I have pictures of this severe neglect that if anyone picked up their beloved pet in this condition could only cry and be so angry. If this CLEAR neglect is happening, I only dare to think of the possible other neglect and possible abuse that is occurring. I am filing a complaint with the animal authority overseeing boarding kennels to have this investigated so that no other dog has to suffer the clear and horrible neglect that my poor beloved dog did for a week, it is animal cruelty and should not be allowed to continue. STAY AWAY from here if you love your pet! If I am unable to upload pictures, please feel free to contact me and I can show you as I am sure the owner will respond saying it is untrue.
My 2 dogs were cared for for 9 days, over the holidays. Charlotte and her staff were fantastic! We were able to take a tour prior to their stay and felt very confident in leaving town. Everything is very organized, extremely clean, and the staff is very loving. My dogs appeared happy, stress free, and clean smelling when we returned.
OMG!!!! Our babies love Stay and Play, we sometimes think they love Charlotte more than they do us. We trust her and her staff with our dogs, we know when we drop them off they will be well taken care of.

My pup absolutely loves going to Bark and Breakfast! As a 13-month-old spayed Bichpoo, she enjoys playing with her friends at daycare. Alexis has gated acres for the dogs to run and play, providing plenty of stimulation through group play and the toys available. Alexis is incredibly knowledgeable and treats each pup like her own. She conducts an initial interview to ensure a good fit and keeps us updated with photos and messages throughout the day. The facility offers both daycare and overnight stays, where your pup can feel right at home, sleeping comfortably with their friends. I’m so happy we found Bark and Breakfast. We can rest easy knowing our pup is in such great hands!
Bark and Breakfast is the best place we have ever taken our dog to for overnight care! Alexis treats every dog like her own and is extremely patient and kind. She sent pictures, videos and updates everyday. It was so nice to enjoy our vacation and not have to worry about our pup!

Alexis is simply the best and I am so relieved to have found her. My mini dachshund, Hans, becomes anxious whenever I leave to go on a trip, but since he has been going to bark and breakfast he is very calm and relaxed when he comes home. Hans has made many new friends, especially Margot! Alexis treats every dog as if they were her own. She also keeps me updated and sends lots of pictures and videos, which is so appreciated. I can enjoy my time away because I know Hans is safe and well cared for. Alexis is flexible and very easy to work with. I highly recommend!

This is a great place to board your dogs! It is safe, clean, and they really care about your pets. At first, we were a bit apprehensive about leaving our dogs there, as we have never used boarding services before, but seeing the level of care they gave them and the piece of mind knowing that they were well cared for, made it stress free. Now we leave our dogs here any time we need to go out of town. Our dogs are always so excited to go!

My pup, Michonne, loves this place! she comes for daycare on Fridays and boards here whenever we go out of town. She is always excited to come and hang out. We feel so comfortable leaving Michonne here, knowing she is safe and happy. I also love the pictures that are often shared on facebook of the dogs outside playing!

Our cat loves Waggin Master. Kathy is wonderful with her boarders cats or dogs. She truly loves what she is doing & it shows.
My girls were happy and well-cared for. One is blind and they let them have their own outdoor time. Very accommodating!
Kathy is ture dog lover, my Banner is not just my pet he is my life (Service Dog). You know when they like where they're going by their excitement and banner gets excited.
