Mel, Rolf and their son Samuel looked after our 2 dogs, 2 cats and small flock of chickens for 10 days this July. As you'll see they have many great reveiws on TH and we can only join in by saying that they did a fantastic job from start to finish. They're a very organised family, who clearly have a lot of experience of house and animal-sitting. The handover was quick and easy - much faster than is usually the case, as Mel immediately understood what was needed and didn't have to ask twice. They are great communicators and we were sent picture updates of the family out on walks with the dogs and cats. They managed Bonny, our new goofy rescue Golden Retriever, who can be a bit of a handful, without complaint. We even came home to a loaf of delicious, freshly baked bread. What more can you ask! :) Thanks Mel, Rolf and Samuel, we'd happily host you again!

This is the second time we invited Anna to visit our cats and home. We were very happy after the first time and luckily she was able to come back. Anna took great care of the cats and house again. She adores cats, is curious to really get to know them, pays close attention and showers them with love. We got a lot of updates with cute photos and videos, so we had a 100% trust on our holiday that the cats were having a good time. She is easy to communicate with, very organized, took good care of the plants and left the place super clean. I will definitely recommend Anna and Philipp as your housesitters. After 2 times here I can very surely say, it will not disappoint!

Dandan and Andy were tremendously careful and helpful when it came to playing with my cats and providing “pavement time outside”. My cats are talkative and attention demanding and Dandan and Andy gave all their love. I received pictures every day! In addition: Dandan and Andy are trustworthy and reply to all my messages. I am so grateful to have had Shirin stay with my cats over our recent trip. Every day or so Steve or I would would say aloud, "thank goodness Shirin is there". She gave each of them the extra care and attention they needed - so much so that the one took his medicine every day and our shy one was hopping up on her lap for pets. Shirin kept me up to date is pictures and messages, she left our house plants in better shape than when we left and the apartment felt well lived in and enjoyed. I could not recommend Shirin more highly and hope she will consider a trip back to Geneva to stay with Oscar and Sylvia. Thank you.

Kiki and Marius !!!!! What a great pair..... The basics: Every day a photo which of course put every pet parent at ease!! Every day a text regarding how things are going... in that aspect, they were much better that me! I was so busy my mind was bogged down with to many things... The great things: SUCH a lovely couple!!! I immediately felt so happy and relaxed when they arrived. Kiki is an architect so we had lots to talk about regarding this medieval town house I have adopted. It was immediately obvious they would get on with Otis. Now for the amazing: They were here during our hottest week for the whole summer! Poor things. Thank goodness the down stairs tends to be a bit cooler than the rest of the house.....Their air con unit leaked (!!!!!) and they had to wait three days for it to be fixed... BUT - to top it all, on day with 38° showing on the mercury, we had an electricity cut that lasted until the wee hours of the morning (FRANCE!!!!!), which meant no air con in the bedrooms. I would not have blamed them if they had packed up and headed for the beach for a few days... but they stayed! These two are nothing short of sainthood.... THANK YOU BOTH!! Next time, we get to hang out more.... (PS- if they agree to pet sit for you, count yourselves LUCK!)

This was the second time Max and Paulina have sat for us and we were delighted that they were able to look after our little tribe. They are such lovely people and looked after our pets meticulously. Max reported a potential issue with one of our dogs and initiated remedial action after discussion with us. They took the dogs to the vet for treatment . We kept in touch regularly and were reassured to see our pets so obviously happy and well cared for. On our return they cooked us a lovely meal and our house was clean and tidy and the garden looked lovely. I'm hoping Max and Paulina will sit for us again. I recommend them without reservation. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.

Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! We truly think of her as part of our family now and all 5 of our pups would agree!

We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! Elaine was the best dog and cat sitter I have ever had! She was so loving to the boys, kind, reliable, capable and took fabulous care of my two dogs and cat welfare. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list.
