⚠️ BEWARE ⚠️ DO NOT SEND YOUR DOG HERE! Update 08/22/2024: Both of my dogs now have Giardia and it is highly likely that they contracted it here as they boarded for a week and that is the only place they'd been before showing symptoms. I have emailed Scott and corporate with no response on this issue from either party. Keep your puppies safe, stay far away. ________________ My dogs unfortunately boarded with Hounds Town Wilmington for a week, and they were returned to me in a shockingly disgusting state. Both dogs were covered head to toe in urine. Their fur was a slimy mess, and the urine odor was incredibly strong. One of my dogs was so matted that I had to have her shaved at the groomer. According to Scott, they keep their playrooms and townhomes “as clean as humanly possible,” but “when you have multiple high-energy dogs playing in a room together, it is impossible for them not to get dirty.” He would like you to believe that this is nothing but the result of normal dog play, which is actually insane, considering they were covered in urine, not just dirt. I understand that dogs play rough and will get dirty, but this level of filth is ridiculous. I was not expecting a squeaky clean dog, but I was definitely not expecting a dog that looked like they had been left out on the street. On top of this, my dogs became ill very shortly after their stay. Considering they had only been at Hounds Town before they began to show symptoms and were returned to me in the condition they were in, one can only assume they picked up something there. It is truly unfathomable what you are paying for with this facility. Your dog is essentially placed in an empty room with nothing but a cot and a water bowl—no toys or play equipment. They are left to roll around in urine and probably feces with several other dogs. Scott says that they are not sitting in urine all day, but he also told me that when he enters the room to film the dogs, sometimes they’re jumping in pee that they hadn’t had the chance to pick up yet, so I wouldn’t be too sure. Another excuse was that sometimes there are just too many dogs, making it humanly impossible to keep up with picking up after them quickly. If that is the case, then maybe the procedures need to be evaluated. I am not only displeased with the service I received but also with the lack of concern from Scott. He did not seem at all surprised by the fact that they were covered in urine; he was more upset that they hadn’t been given a bath to “1) wow you with service and 2) avoid just this kind of situation”—aka, hide the fact that they had been covered in pee all week and that their facility is disgusting. Ultimately, my grooming bill was covered, but my request for a partial refund in addition to covering the grooming costs was denied because apparently "they had the best of care". If you want a filthy dog, lots of stress, and extra bills to clean up the mess this place causes, then this is the perfect fit. I never leave reviews, especially not negative ones like this, but the service—or lack thereof—that I received is unacceptable. If I could leave -5 stars I would.

We had our temperment test the other day and they handled him better than other places. My pup acts like cujo when you first meet and it takes time for him to warm up..they gave him the space he needed and patience…when I picked him up he seems really happy and not stressed! (Other places he seemed a little stressed on pickup) He is now there boarding for 5 days…so I’ll review after…but so far no phone calls (which no news is good news) I’m hoping this works out long term because he loves playing there and I think the staff has been really good with him!

Hounds town is awesome ! It was my first experience recently . I was so nervous as a first time dog owner taking my pup to daycare / evaluation . The owner was so knowledgeable and helpful and explained everything thoroughly. I like that they let them play all day as opposed to only a few hours . I also got her a bath .. she was so soft and smelled great . Will definitely be going back

We adopted Cash a couple of weeks ago, and love the program that Hounds town has with the new Hanover sheriffs animal control. It seems he had a blast today at Doggie Daycare playing with the other pups. Thank you Scott and crew at Wilmington’s Hounds town.

I have brought Matilda here several times now and I am happy with the service . She loves it when we come she can’t wait to get inside. When we pick her up she tries to go back in she loves to play with other dogs.

So impressed with our first visit to Hounds Town-Wilmington! Our Rocky loved his playtime! He also got the deluxe bath and he smelled so good and looked so handsome when we picked him up. He will definitely be back!

I am from Alabama, in town for work, and have had the pleasure to experience Hound Town Wilmington. Jack had not experienced daycare until now (he’s 4 years old) and he has enjoyed his time here. He’s never really liked being around other dogs, he’s more of a people lover. To see him eager to go in and play with his new doggie friends every morning made my heart smile. The staff is amazing. We look forward to visiting Hound Town Wilmington again next year.

First and foremost only place that has reasonable hours for someone in healthcare so greatly appreciated! 5 stars just for that alone, but if that wasn’t enough the staff is also 5+ stars. I struggled with what to do because my dog had SO MUCH energy and I hated to leave him anywhere since he’s my baby. Let me tell you, he LOVES it. When we get there he RUNS to the back with the staff and doesn’t even look back to say goodbye. They are clearly taking good care of him and he’s having the time of his life making it so much easier and stress free for me to drop him off. This has made our nights together relaxing and my days at work so much better knowing he’s having fun and well taken care of. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Hounds Town is by far the best dog boarding and daycare in town. The facilities are clean, the employees are well trained and polite, the customer service is excellent. I know my dog is well cared for, safe and happy at Hounds Town. This is a top notch establishment that I can depend on to care for my dogs and to provide excellent service. Edit: added pics from our most recent stay. Domino has gone to houndstown several times this year. We are always so happy with the care and attention he gets. I highly recommend the spa package. No one trims his nails better!!

Our dog Ellie went for her first day of daycare this past week and she LOVED it! She was absolutely exhausted when she got home. She also got a deluxe bath and she smelled amazing afterwards!

Amber made our recent trip out of town so much more enjoyable as we knew our senior pup was in good hands! Amber sent timely updates and plenty of photos. Lola & Company will be our go to per care service for all future travel!

So happy to have found Amber at Lola and company. She is definitely an animal lover. I have dogs and cats and she’s great with both. My one dog is grumpy with people and usually likes no one but really warmed up to her. We felt completely at ease while away knowing Amber was taking such good care of our animals. We loved receiving updates with pictures of our pets. Highly recommend.

It took me almost 9 years of no vacations and running home during lunch breaks before I finally broke down and gave Amber a call. I have trust issues, especially when it comes to my dogs! Since then, Amber has been coming by everyday to check on my Butters 🐾🩵. Although timid and shy at first, he is now warming up to her and I feel less stressed and guilty about caring for him. I am so lucky to have found Amber and would highly recommend her.

Lola & Company (Amber) has been pet sitting for us since we adopted Bentley almost 3 years ago. She takes such good care of our fur baby! We are confident that she loves him like we do which means we can rest assured he is in good care when we are away. As a pet owner, that is the peace you need so you can enjoy your vacation even when your fur baby cannot go with you. The reports and pictures she provides to summarize her visit are a great way to know how Bentley is doing and assure us that he is enjoying time with Amber.

Our experience with Lola & Company for cat sitting was fantastic! Amber is professional, reliable, caring and kind - definitely an animal lover. We were away for about 10 days and returned to find our cat Joey to be very healthy, happy and well-adjusted. We appreciated the pics from each visit!

Amber is amazing!! Our cat is usually very shy around strangers but he loves her!! She always provides great updates with a report of how the visit went. It is so nice having the peace of mind while we are away that our boy is in good hands! And she always provides the cutest pictures too! Highly recommend!

Kris and I whole-heartedly recommend Amber for pet sitting! She is the best of the best in Wilmington. Our dog, Bear, used to be nervous when we'd leave town. Now that he knows Amber takes care of him when we travel, he's relaxed when we leave and relaxed when we get home. This alone says so much about Amber and how much TLC she shows the animals in her care. The app used for scheduling, payment, and updates is easy to use and keeps everything well organized on both ends. Amber updates with photos included at every visit. And best of all, she offers over-night pet sitting. You can't get any better than that! Two thumbs up and five stars!

Amber was absolutely amazing. She accommodated all of our needs for our dogs. She was very friendly and even took the time to get one of our dogs who takes a minute to get used to new people extra love and time. She gave them treats and took them for walks. Alexis watched our 3 month old golden retriever puppy for a long weekend along with my boyfriends families cat and 1 year old golden retriever! She was so communicative and made us feel super comfortable leaving the pets in great hands. She also offered us a ton of tips that we still utilize today - she’s super knowledgeable and sweet! Highly recommend for any pet care needs!!

Alexis stayed at my house for a weekend to watch my sweet pup Miller while I was out of town. She did an incredible job & I could not be more pleased! She texted throughout the day(s) to update on how Miller was doing & shared lots of photos! She is very kind & goes above any beyond - she washed the bedding, brought my mail in, and took the trash out. She even left us flowers! Miller was very happy & relaxed upon my return! Will definitely be working with Alexis again :)

Alexis is THE BEST!!! There’s very few people we trust to watch our “baby” Loki, our 3-year-old German Shepard. We can always count on Alexis to give us complete peace of mind when we travel. She most recently watched him while we were away for a full week on our honeymoon, and getting pictures and knowing she was spoiling him just as we would while we were away allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. Alexis was an incredible dog sitter! Our dog Bella was the happiest that I have ever seen her when we returned. She sent us pictures of Bella relaxing at home and out on walks. I was amazed and so very pleased with how much time that Alexis spent with Bella. Alexis is a caring and loving person which definitely comes through in her dog sitting activities!!!!!

Alexis cares so much about her charges, and is especially good for those pets who need a little extra TLC. She is totally professional, and nothing- not holidays, not Covid- gets in the way of taking care of the pets. Her online communications platform is superb for keeping in touch, no matter where you are traveling. Alexis commits all the way, is completely reliable, and is particularly good at improvising to meet the needs of the pet(s). For example, our pets arrived just before we had to travel. It turned out that we were not well set up for their care and feeding, and Alexis had both the initiative and expertise to source the things we needed- ones that we are still using and appreciate. Her experience with high-need pets really showed, as she had the patience, perseverance and experience to help our pets with some major adjustments. We came home to pets who were in better shape than we left them!

We had Alexis stay in our home, and pet sit our little dog Pinot for 5 days..Alexis was Amazing… She took wonderful care of our Home & Pinot. Alexis sent pictures & updates daily.. We felt relaxed knowing everything was in such good hands!! Pinot absolutely loves her, we can’t wait to use her service again soon!! I even came home to a Beautiful card & flowers!!! I recently took my Pomeranian for her first visit to Animal House grooming salon, and I couldn't be more pleased! I want to give a special thanks to the GM, Scott, for recommending his Groomer, Trinette. She did an outstanding job! Every detail of my dog was absolutely beautiful and professionally done. Trinette is one of the best groomers I've used in a long time. I highly recommend you try her for yourself. I love Animal House! I've taken 5 dogs there and they all love it. They get excited when we pull on the street! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, even on all the short notices. My dogs come home tired and happy. I recommend this place to everyone!

I really am satisfied taking my dog to Animal House Wilmington. My dog gets to run around and play and socialize with other dogs. Sometimes I have to work extended hours, days on end and it is a comfort to me to know that I can drop him off there instead of keeping him alone, bored in my apt. peeing on the carpet. I also like they have special events, boarding, dog grooming and even obedience training. The staff is very nice and friendly and I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in their hands. When I have to go out of town for several days I don't worry about boarding him at Animal House becsuse I know he is well taken care of.

My dog Finn has been going to day camp weekly for almost four years. The staff recognize us both the minute we walk in and I know I can trust them with my boy. The pool is the best part! I can’t recommend enough!

Boarded my dogs here 3 times. The last time it was $700 and my dogs returned with kennel cough and my male with a giant wound on his head that was about 4 inches wide, a massive open bloody wound. Took 2 days to get the owner to contact us, and he just ran his mouth for 15 minutes trying to make himself look better, and that he’d pay for the vet visit then never reached back out. It’s been 2-3 months now, my dog is fully healed but I would like to warn others away from this place. The photos are far too gruesome to post, so I will leave those out so the review will post. The 2nd time we boarded them here, I put tape on the top of my food bin for my pets and on two intake forms I put that my female dog is food aggressive, and cannot be fed near my male or she’ll hurt him or worse. We watched for 2 hours while they had the food down in the same room with both of my dogs watching my female try to attack my male while nobody answered and the doors were locked so we could not inform them. I picked them up early from their stay at that time. The only reason I returned after the 2nd time and their fatal flaw in reading paperwork and food bins is because my grandmother passed away in New York and I had to make an urgent trip to go say goodbye to her. I will say on the upside the employees were always excited to see my pups, I just wish they kept the same tenacity in regard to pet safety and injures. I found out he was injured when we got home, they never mentioned it. If you’re anything like me your pets are your world and best friends, so I’m not willing to give a 3rd chance like the owner asked. This isn’t baseball we’re not playing 3 strikes in your house, this is the safety of living beings we’re talking about. As my wife and I are dog groomers this was all the more upsetting knowing the lack of safety and responsibility taking place. I pray no one else shares the experiences we have at this boarding facility.

I brought my cat here for a well needed grooming. This was his first grooming experience and I was really nervous that it was not going to be successful. I’m very grateful for the wonderful staff that made it happen. They warned me he may be agitated when I brought him home but he was happy as a clam. I think he’s pretty happy to have the mattes off of him. Thank you so much!!

This place is great! We left our 2 puppies, Rodrigo and Ranger, there for a few days and they had a blast! I was afraid that they would not enjoy themselves but when we picked them up they did not want to leave. The staff is wonderful and took exceptional care of our babies, making them feel welcome and at home. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. It has great amenities and the staff is just the best!! Thank you for taking such good care of my babies.

My Pittie Bleu loves to go to Animal House Day care. The staff is fabulous. He gets treats from the front desk and is always excited to go swim and play with his friends. 10 out of 10 I would Recommend.

I am one to never leave reviews, but I honestly can’t say enough good things about Animal House. My dog is a regular for about 6 months and has boarded with them a few times, and I won’t take her anywhere else. Nicole and the staff are SO welcoming and show such enthusiasm and love every time they see my dog, as well as other regular dogs. It’s comforting to know that they care for the dogs like their own. The prices are even better (compared to other places in Wilmington). Drop off as early as 7:30 and pick up at 5:15/5:30 for 23 dollars a day, you can’t beat it. A live camera so you can see your pup having an absolute blast in the big pool or grassy fenced-in yard. On top of the high level of involvement with little holiday parties for the pups (for an extra cost of like 10 dollars) and posting “pup of the week” and happy birthday shoutouts for the dogs. 10/10 recommend to any pet owner!

Your pet is in great hands with Michael! He is professional, kind, efficient and top notch! Every video that he sent of his visits my dog was wagging his tail! A sure sign of compatibility! I highly recommend Michael for your pet needs, dog and cat.

Michael is most definitely a Dog Whisperer! I have two puppies under one and that are very strong and opinionated. From the first time the puppies met Michael they could tell he was a good person they could trust. Since Michael has been walking them (and training the humans) everything has changed for the better…the puppies are easier to walk and everyone is much calmer! I had another “trainer” but nothing changed. Dogs know instinctively if a person is good and Michael and all he provides your animals is outstanding!

Michael did an exceptional job taking care of our two dogs over a long weekend. He was able to establish a good rapport with them and really put them at ease. It made our time away much more enjoyable knowing our dogs were in such capable hands.

Michael has been a Godsend. We are so grateful for him and he has quite a load here with 3 dogs 2 cats and 5 chickens. Always on time, professional and my dogs instantly were drawn to him. The daily videos we get are hilarious and heart warming. This experience goes far beyond that of a pet sitter, Michael is a pet Angel.

We recently started using Michael to walk our dog Scout. Let me start off by saying that I am an extremely picky dog mom when it comes to who takes care of my sweet boy. Scout is “literally” our only child. Michael has been nothing short of excellent! He is extremely easy to work with and schedule visits, has always been prompt, as well as very communicative about how the visit went with pictures and videos. All of this definitely puts our mind at ease that our dog is in great hands while we are away. Most importantly, Scout seems super happy on his walks with Michael! Recommend us to us from a friend, Michael (Pooch n’ Pals) has been a life saver with our new puppy Jimmy. We live in an apartment- and with all that energy and potty training in the works- Michael is such a relief to help us with walks a few times a week. He is super flexible, communicative, and always sends a few pics of little Jim on the walks! Michael is awesome!!! We booked the wedding package with him and the entire process was smooth and worry-free. He picked up our loving Corgi at the Airbnb before the wedding, he brought him to the venue and stayed with him until his big reveal during the ceremony, and then escorted him around to see friends and family during cocktail hour until we wanted the pup in pictures. After that, he took him back to our Airbnb just like we asked! Everything went exactly to plan and it’s pretty easy to tell that he’s really good with dogs because our pup followed him around, listened well to him and seemed to really like him. I’d highly recommend Michael for any services he offers, but even for a big, stressful event like a wedding, he went above and beyond!

Michael at Pooch & Pals does a phenomenal job watching over our pup when we go out of town & we would highly recommend him! We can tell that Michael genuinely loves dogs and dogs love him! We feel so lucky to have someone so trustworthy to watch over our pup when we are gone!

Used the boarding services for 2+ years and never had an issue until our last visit when our dog was sent home with raw paw pads on two paws and hurt so bad he couldn’t walk for four days. Called to get an answer on how he got the injuries and both owners told two separate stories and we’re not very nice while doing so. Also lied about sending him home with cleaner for his paws. Luckily his injuries weren't anything more serious because they didn’t seem to care how it happened or how he was doing when we called to find out what happened. We unfortunately won’t be going back.

I brought both of my very spoiled babies for the Royal Makeover Package and they were phenomenal! The staff is so kind, gentle, and attentive. When I picked up my pups they were soft, happy, and smelled wonderful. I highly recommend taking your pups here!

I have went through 2 other local doggie daycares before finding this one and when they say third time is a charm it truly is!! Blu is so happy with all of the new friends people & puppies! He just fit right in! He knows EXACTLY where he's going before we even pull in he's literally trying to go out the door before the car is in park🤣. That's how I know my baby is happy. From the girls at the front desk, the ones who play with the pups all day and the owners they are all amazing people. (My dog is a great judge of character he can and will tell if they are not). They make sure all of his needs are met so that we don't have to worry. He loves it here so he is staying. Thank you all for taking such great care of blu 💙 If your puppy is not going here they absolutely should be!!!

Another wonderful experience getting my Great Pyrenees bathed, brushed and nails clipped today. The Barkington consistently provides great service and care for him and he is a handful at 120 lbs.! I am very pleased with the way in which they are prepared for him and the communication during and between appointments. Everyone there is pleasant and working to provide a positive visit for me and my pet. Great place to take your pet!

We use the Barkington when we go away on day trips also for grooming. I'm very pleased with their professionalism and would recommend them to anyone. Our dog is like our child and you just wouldn't leave your child be anyone that's why I always feel comfortable leaving her at the Barkington

Happy customer for over a year!! I never thought I could trust someone to care for my Sam the way I do. I was wrong. We love this place. The entire staff loves dogs and it shows. They always greet us like we're family and Shirley makes him so handsome I get jealous. Sam begs to go everyday Everyone there is just the best. They play with all the dogs so no one feels lonely. I can rest at ease knowing he is with them either for the day or the weekend. The fact i can check in in the cameras at anytime is a huge + too 😃

I had a wonderful experience at The Barkington. Shirley is a wonderful groomer. My dog got his best haircut yet and was in such a fun, good mood when I picked him up! He was not overly thirsty, which is a problem I've had at other places, and I could tell he had a fun, good day at their facility. Shirley goes above and beyond to make sure each clients dog is well taken care of and gives them the attention they need off and on her grooming table! We will certainly be back, thank you for taking care of my pup!

We use the grooming service and have been very pleased. We have a golden doodle. They have been very helpful I scheduling appointments.

Wow. What a great experience. I’m a new dog owner and had no idea what to expect. The groomers did a superb job. My dog was a bit nervous upon arrival but they made him feel safe and secure. He looks great and smells delicious. His nails are perfect and ears are clean as a whistle. I’m so relieved, relaxed and elated with the results and I’ll be back again and again.

We can't thank The Barkington enough for their exceptional care of our dog Harley. Their facility is great and they have lots of options available, including private hotel rooms, with a big bed, tv and window which works great for us. The owners and all of the caregivers we met are clearly dog lovers. They provide a safe and comfortable environment and treat her like family. This place is AWFUL!!! We brought our dog here twice and the second time they did not remove his e-collar or prong collar the entire week that he was there. When he came home, he had two large holes in his neck from the e-collar as well as a huge hotspot on his chest. Both were already infected. My wife had to rush him to the emergency vet, which cost us $800! When I called to speak to a manager, I was told she was on the phone with another customer but would call me right back. I have not heard from anyone in the past 12+ hours. Our dog is now sitting on his bed, whimpering in pain. Please for the sake of your dogs safety, DO NOT BOARD THEM HERE!

The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I know Bella is in good hands while she is there. I check her occasionally on the cameras and love seeing her interacting with the other dogs plus seeing the attention she is given by the attendants! Whenever she goes to daycare she comes home exhausted so I know she gets lots of activity while she is there.

WOW WOW WOW! All of the staff was super amazing and super friendly!!!! They sent pictures and videos! They loved spending time with my dog, and one of the employees even gave me a harness because mine broke?! Like what?! Kindness goes such a long way, and they have all of it! I will recommend this place to everyone that has a dog and I will absolutely be back there and that’s saying a lot because I’m very particular and don’t ever like to leave my dog but I had to and it was absolutely worth it! Thank you so much there you guys are the best keep up the amazing work!

My dog got bit by another dog, we had said he could not be around other dogs due to his previous owner allowing him to be attacked by their orher dogs. He gets scared of other dogs. So he should not have been around another dog to be bit at all. Our dog never ever eats away from home. We brought dry food and a can of wet for him to eat the second day. When we picked him up, the wet can was returned, no dry food. We asked about it, they said he ate all the dry food. I can say with 1000% certainty, we were being lied to. There is absolutely no way he ate all that food, or any at all. We didn’t expect him to eat, that’s just the way he is and we know that. It was the lying that was really concerning. But that isn’t all. Within a week of boarding he was at the vet with a respiratory infection. Ten days of lots of meds and rest he was better. A few days later he develops a yeast infection in his ears from the antibiotics. So a $120 boarding visit for a weekend turned into $670 and some sleepless nights.

My girls loved their time here! It was pretty pricy at the end of a 9 day stay but I've never seen my dogs more happy while they were away from home. How do I know they were happy? I got updates (report card) from the kennel while I was away. Included pictures, how their demeanor has been AND how they've been eating. Awesome facility and great staff!! **one staff member told me she loved my dog so much that she wanted to take her home!! thank you guys for taking such good care of the girls! ❤

The staff took care of my pet and ensured he was happy. I was kept abreast as to how he was doing. The cameras worked well and seeing my pet interacting with the staff made me smile. When you are out of town and miles away it’s comforting to know your pet is being well taken care of.

Amazing. I came to Wilmington and didn’t realize that the time had expired for dogs to be allowed on the beach that I went to. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get in anywhere as it was Memorial Day weekend, but this place was five star from the moment they picked up the phone and let me know that once I completed the intake process, I could transfer to another pet paradise in Austin where I live and I will be doing so… also considering getting dog training there. My dog was super happy when I came to pick him up and I could tell that the employees really loved spending time with him and put a lot of care and detail into the Pet report. If that wasn’t enough, they offered me a complimentary first time visit so I paid $0!! If you’re in Wilmington, don’t sleep on this place. I would definitely bring my dog back here; absolutely worth full price. 10/10

We love Pet Paradise, and our dog does too! The staff has always been very friendly, accommodating, and wonderful to our furbaby, emailing us pictures during his lodging stays and giving us a detailed update on him when we call to see how he is doing. He is always so excited when we pull into the parking lot and runs right to the staff when we enter the door, which lets me know that he is treated extremely well. We have used their services for lodging and daycare for over 3 years now, and Pet Paradise will continue to be the only place in Wilmington we trust to take quality care of our dog!

This is a great place for bringing your fur family. I have three dogs of different ages and personalities and I feel they all leave happy and well cared for. While we were in Disney for a week, they did a great job communicating anything my dogs needed and adjusted their stay accordingly. I've been to other dog daycare facilities in this area and this is by far my favorite because they keep a close eye on the dogs while playing instead of leaving them in packs unattended. The dog rooms are nice and the cameras to keep an eye on everyone is nice as well. It's not a cheap place but you get what you pay for.

Pawsatively Golden Pet Care is an amazing pet service! Our dog, Mac, has epilepsy and requires constant supervision. Not only were they knowledgeable, they were also very understanding to his needs. Crystal and her team SPOILS him. Your pet would be lucky to have them!

We had a great experience with MaKayla and Nikki taking care of our three cats! Our cats are super spoiled and get wet food three times a day (plus they are used to my husband working from home - which is also why we can normally feed them during the day with no problems). When we go out of town, we feel bad about how much it disrupts their schedule, especially our older 14 year old girl. Both Nikki and MaKayla gave super thorough updates for each visit with tons of pictures and info about all three of them. Crystal, the owner, was really helpful when we had questions about charges and pricing. Everyone seemed professional at every step! It's the best pet sitting service we've found in Wilmington, and we've tried more than a few. We have already reached out about our next plans to get on their schedule. We will definitely use them again!

We had a great first experience! From start to finish they were thorough and detailed. They came for a meet and greet where we were able to explain everything and ask questions without feeling rushed! Our dog has epilepsy and this has been the first time since it started we feel like we can relax while going on vacation. They sent frequent communication and sent a pic and message each time they gave him his meds so we could be assured he’d received it on time. We came home to a happy and healthy dog and a clean house! We have already booked them for a weekend trip and the holidays coming up.

I came up from Florida for my son’s wedding and was staying in an AIRBNB, so I needed a pet sitter. I got the Royal package and it was worth it. My wife and I have just returned from a two week trip to the UK and are so lucky to have left our dog and two cats in the care of Pawsatively Golden Pet Care. We don’t like to board our pets so having PGPC come to our house twice a day has been ideal. We couldn’t have asked for better care to be taken of our pets. We received twice daily reports of the visits (as well as photographs) which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. PGPC went above and beyond by bringing in our mail, taking the trash out and leaving the house exactly as we left it. Our pets seem better behaved than when we left! I cannot thank the PGPC team enough and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for professional pet care.

A Country Kneel did an excellent job with my dog. Dropped him off for a 2 night stay they accommodated all his needs. Sent updates each day. The new facility was super clean. Staff was super nice and friendly. When I picked up my dog, he looked and acted the same as before. Highly recommend!!

I left my cat here for 3 days, and she has the cats and dogs separated so my cat wasn’t as anxious and it helped so much! I got him back and he was just how I left him! Their private stay setup with guaranteed outdoor time is perfect for our pup who - while he loves new friends - can frequently get a bit wound-up and needs time by himself. I have been taking my dog Lou Lou here for a few years now. We do daycare and boarding and I won't take my dog anywhere else. The staff is always friendly and I feel safe that my dog is in a place where she gets lots of love and playtime. I love that you can do a bath before you pick them up. Sometimes it's really helpful and it's one less thing for me to have to worry about Mckenzie and her staff to a great job and have always been extremely responsive and professional.

My dog absolutely loves going here. I take her to daycare 3-4x a week and she gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot knowing where she is. The staff are amazing and go out of their way for the dogs. We love Country Kennel!

Our family canines thoroughly seem to enjoy staying with the kennel. Certainly not an over top kind of place which is nice in my opinion. Very simple to drop off and pick up your pet and the staff is always kind. It can be challenging to get someone on the phone but they are responsive with electronic contact. I have never been past the front entrance where you drop off your pet, however it never seems to be dirty or disgusting. Pricing is fair and we haven’t sought out another kennel whether it’s daycare or boarding.

Tonya has been taking care of my pit/lab mix Birdie Mae for over a year. My work hours required me to be on call and sometimes she would help me out on the fly along with taking Birdie out 5 days a week around lunch time. Incredibly reliable and easy to talk to. Birdie loved her too.

In addition to her professionalism and understanding of the needs of dogs (and their owners), Tonya was a pillar of support for me when the time came to put down one of my dogs this spring. Her presence and kind, wise words helped me make some hard decisions in the best interest of a dog I loved dearly. I will be forever thankful to her for being there for me to lean on. I am sad she is leaving RI but I know there will be many happy dog owners in North Carolina.

I’ll admit I’m a crazy dog mamma with two pups with very different needs so I’m very picky with who I trust not only in my home but with my most precious babies. That being said, Tonya has been the most trustworthy, responsive and fun dog walker for my pups! They go bananas when they see her and every time we have been away with Tonya in charge, we receive updates with pictures and captions that have always made us smile and feel at ease. Tonya is also very adaptable when one of my dogs needed some extra attention while recovering from an illness and provided medication administration and feeding at no extra expense. Her prices are incredibly fair and worth every penny when you get this level of professional service. Leslie is very meticulous and detail oriented. She took notes on meal preferences, medication times, sleep schedules and the quirks of my cats. I left for vacation feeling very relaxed about leaving my cats with her. She sent me daily updates and pictures. She is intuned to your pet’s psychological needs as well.
