Betsy was amazing. From the first phone call to finishing the sit everything was perfect. We returned to a very happy Tom and a beautiful clean home. Tom was completely spoilt while we were away and is missing Betsy. Communication was superb with regular pictures and updates. If you ever have the chance of having Betsy sit for you. Jump at the chance. We highly recommend her and will have her back anytime.

Samantha was very communicative from the start and stayed that way throughout our trip. She sent daily updates and photos which we loved seeing and it was obvious that our animals were happy and well cared for. I had what I thought would be a 2 day repair project planned, and they were so flexible and patient when it turned into a full week! Yikes! Came home to a spotless house and happy animals and would welcome this nice family back anytime.

Some (understandable) family matters may have precluded a chance for her to replace linens (no time for them to dry) and perform a final vacuum in her spaces, but everything else was spotless. We were so happy that Pam was available to watch our dogs again when we were away for a few days. She is always our first choice to take care of our two active Mini-American Shepards. They love to be with her as she knows them well and enjoys taking care of them. Pam is great about filling me in on her activities which always include walks to the beach, and around our neighborhood, ball play, and lots of loving attention. In addition, Pam is a great communicator, never hesitating to check in and ask questions if they come up. I know that both our house and dogs are getting the very best care with when Pam comes to sit. We never have to worry!

Kyle was such a great sitter for our two cats, Buffy and Milo, while we were gone for a month hiking the John Muir Trail. He proved very self-sufficient, which was super important for us since we were hiking and out of cell service for most of the time. Something that stood out was his adaptability. A summer storm knocked out power for two days and Kyle took it in stride. Most importantly, we came home to two happy cats and a tidy apartment. Laura is incredible! For starters, she is a clear and considerate communicator who is reliable and trustworthy while setting up details for a sit in advance. From there... where do we start?! Laura (and her sister Stephanie, for a few days) took care of our cat & dog for a week-long sit. We were immediately at ease with both of them, and it was clear that they were excited to meet our pets and love them, and relaxed and comfortable in this role. They asked informed and curious questions about our pets, routines, and the surrounding area to set up a successful sit. When we departed, our dog hardly seemed to notice, because she was getting to know her new people! The snuggle-fest and hiking adventures that took place while we were gone resulted in happy pets who were calm and content. We received daily photos, which were heart warming, and assured us that dog hugs and cat exercise were taking place. Our dog is very affectionate, and Laura made sure that she received plenty of love while we were gone. Upon return, our home was spotless - tidy and clean (possibly cleaner than when we left, and we tried really hard!) We are games people, and Laura left us some of her favorite games to play (yay), and gifts for our pets, which were so fun to open when we got home. Everything was so thoughtful and kind. Laura is absolutely one of the top sitters we've ever had, and we are so grateful for her care. She went above and beyond basic home/pet care, and her compassion shines through in all of her communications and actions. She (and Stephanie) are welcome anytime, and we (Zora and Morris especially) hope they will come stay again!

5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Purrelli doesn’t eat when he is stressed so seeing a little meat on him let me know he was content and happy :) My condo was left clean and in order, all communications were smooth and there was zero issues. Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!

Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Purchased a rotty twice from shadow birch, David. David and his wife are caring breeders. Loved my first girl, Ingrid so much got another 16 years later. She trained in obedience, rally and was a therapy dog. They sell great food, wonderful customers service!! Highly recommend!! Updated, 2nd photo is Greta at 18 months of age. She's still my big baby!!

We loved this kennel and the owners so much. What kind and thoughtful people. They were definitely sensitive to what each individual dog wants and got to know the dogs very well really quickly. They picked up traits about our little dog’s personality that we hadn’t yet figured out, because we were stuck on what the shelter told us when we adopted her. They loved our little dog Pearl and carried her around spoiling her and even gave her some of the kibbles the other tiny dogs were having when they saw pearl really wanted se of that kind of food. Such nice great kindhearted people. We wish they didn’t close the kennel part of their business at least to small dogs.
We boarded our two dogs last minute after plans with our established kennel fell through. We cannot say enough great things about our experience. Clean facility with owners who obviously care about the welfare of the dogs in their care. We were able and encouraged to call to check on our dogs while they were there, and when we picked them up they were happy and not frantic to leave. We will happily board our dogs here again. Great experience!
They kenneled our dogs last minute. Our dogs were treated like they were their own. We arrived at the designated pick up time to happy dogs. Clean quiet kennels. And exceptional, kind customer service. We will take our dogs no where else from now on. So incredibly happy.

My wife and I are new to the area and were concerned about finding someone to watch our two pitbulls. In the past, our trips were always interrupted with a phone-call because of some sort of incident. Not this time. Our dogs were well cared for and I wouldn't hesitate to take them back. It's nice to know there are true professionals available that know how to care for your dog.
I have had 2 of their rotties. The both of them became my service dogs. Easy to train and very loyal. Best breeder and very helpful when you have questions or need help.
