Lindsay, Acacia, Jana are wonderful walkers who take care of my Natalie like she was their own. I’m so grateful to have them to walk her while I’m at work.

I have used Sammy's service for the past 6 years. They are professional, reasonably priced, and totally reliable. I would recommend them to anyone who needs dog walking services. Scarlett is amazing! She always checks in with me to schedule walks for our pup and is consistently timely. Sammy has a great team. We have a regular walker who is awesome and never fails to send us an update and photo each day. She is also able to cover us for trips or vacation and if she can't she contacts another walker in Sammy's network to cover. It is awesome, you don't have to figure it out and they have backups for everyone. Expect to pay extra for holidays and if you cancel last second (both of which totally make sense and we are fine with because the quality of service is so excellent). We never worry when Sammy's team and our primary dog walker are taking care of our fluff duo (dog and cat).

Just had my goldendoodle's ears groomed due to matting and her nails trimmed. Amazing, fast service! The owner Amy explained how to prevent further matting issues and took the time to show me what tools I need to buy for future use. It was very clean and everyone was super friendly. I never thought I would use a dog daycare. This experience has been so good for our Oreo. He loves Amy and her team of caregivers. He is becoming much calmer at home and doesn't jump on people like he use to. I highly recommend this dog daycare.

I am so glad we stumbled upon Canine Country when searching for boarding options for our dog. He *loves* it there - so much so he starts getting excited when we turn on the road to "camp". Having the option to get him groomed by people he already knows and trusts is also a huge plus, and Amy takes great care in ensuring that she and the team know your grooming preferences. The love that Amy and her staff have for each pup that comes through the door is so obvious and I can't imagine taking him anywhere else. We're lucky enough to live just 15 minutes from Canine Country, but we'd bring our dog there no matter the distance - it's simply the best.

Absolutely fantastic kennel. The whole set up is great. The turnout is large with agility obstacles and a shaded area for the hot days. The sleeping quarters are large and warm. All the dogs seem very happy. Amy and her team are completely delightful and very knowledgeable. It’s very clear that everybody who works there loves their work and adores the animals. They take wonderful care of them. Our extremely neurotic Viszla loves it so much there, but he starts whining and barking with excitement when we turn onto the driveway! Which is really saying something… We are so happy that we found Canine Country. It’s very difficult to leave your beloved pets in the care of someone else, but I am completely at ease, knowing Bonzo is with the team there.

I have been coming here with my dogs since January 2009; Amy and her staff are amazing. We use their boarding and grooming services several times a year. It is the ONLY place I will take my fur babies. Starting this year I am also going to start using their daycare services. My babies love it here, and that's important to me.

A year ago we adopted our Bailey. He has been going to Canine Clippers for Doggy Day Care and for grooming since that time. Bailey loves it. He adores Amy and Chelsea. He knows which day he goes to Day Care and wakes up excited. We trust Amy and Chelsea completely with Bailey. They have done wonders with a precious little dog that we love. Canine Clippers is a wonderful place for dogs!!!

I have used The Canine Clipper for both pet grooming and boarding many times. Amy is great when ever you drop the pets off she gets right down on the floor and makes the pets feel welcome. Boarding - Amy and her family are great with pets. When the pets stay with her they are part of the family instead of being locked up in cages and alone. She has plenty of area for the dogs to run around and play in which is great. Grooming - We have gone to the Pet Smarts, but a lot of times those people just don't care about the pets and are mean. Amy takes very good care of them, listens to you on how you want them to look, and they come out looking great and happy. I would never hesitate to recommend The Canine Clipper to anyone.

Alexandra is a very caring and thoughtful person. I’m always a bit nervous the first time someone new stays with our terrier, Rudy, but she put my worries to rest the very first day by sending lots of pictures and staying in touch. I’ve already scheduled her next stay with us!

We have 2 rottweilers who can be intimidating to anyone. Our male can be "selective" in who he likes. He LOVES Alex. She is very much a dog handler/lover. Alex allowed our dogs to sniff her before she reached towards them. This is so important for an aggressive breed. My husband is a worrier about our dogs, just like the first time we left our children with a baby sitter. Alex provides photos, communication via text or phone calls, and addresses any concerns pet owners may have. I 100% recommend Alex to care for your pets while you are unavailable. Just don't let her get too busy whereby she is not available to watch our animals!

Alex has been a great resource for dog care. I have left my dog in her care several times and I always feel good about dropping my dog off with her. She has an adorable dog who loves to play with my dog. Alex is great about getting the dogs out for walks and hikes in nature. She really loves animals and it shows. I highly recommend her services!

Alex is the best! Our two dogs love her. Overnights, vacations , we never have a care or concern with our pups or the house. We recommend Alex with Skyline Petcare 100 percent!

Alex has taken care of our three cats twice now. We used to really stress about traveling and ensuring our cats were well taken care of, but Alex has helped us feel so much better about traveling. She's professional and responsive and sends us daily updates. Our cats have lots of needs (different feeding schedules, meds, lots of petting), and Alex has managed all of that seamlessly. They can also be wary of new people, so we were shocked to see how quickly our scarediest cat warmed right up to Alex. It feels great to leave them with her! I highly recommend Alex.

Alex is the best dog walker/pet sitter we have worked with... period. She truly cares for the well being of our two dogs and does everything possible to accommodate them. When we leave town for a long duration we have no worries that they will be very well taken care of. She regularly updates us regarding how they are doing. Every time our dogs go on a walk with her they are totally spent. We could not have asked for anything better.

We're overjoyed to have found Alex to look after our pets. Freedom to take off and go on overnights anywhere was seriously limited with our 3 year old Sheltie and two 4 year old Ragdoll cats. All three must have love, play, and care for most of the day to be happy. The idea of leaving them alone or in a kennel was not an option for us; our worry and guilt would have been overwhelming. Then we met Alex! She happily accommodated my need for her to get to know the 3 over time before we left for our 2 week vacation. She completely accepts my love for my pets and never makes me feel like i am a bit over the top! :) and she loves animals. All three were happy as could be when we returned after 2 weeks, the house was tidy and fur free and the boxes/potty areas all were clean and wonderfully kept up with. She had even brought a dog toy present for our Sheltie! It was over Christmas. Since that trip whenever I say "ALEX is coming" our dog runs to the front door wagging his tail and waiting impatiently. For a Sheltie this is a biggie! I've had her take care of them again on a weekend, and I even ask her to come by and play with our dog once in a while just to keep up their relationship. We like her that much! :) We can plan college visits to see our daughter and mini-holidays now whenever we want, all because we found Alex! A huge THANK YOU, Alex. We all appreciate you.

Alex is not only a impeccable person but when it comes to the well being of your Animals there is no one like her. I have top show horses that need Supreme care 247 and Alex went above and beyond what I had asked or needed her to do. Earlysville was able to take in my sweet boy for a leg amputation when everywhere from Charlottesville to Fredericksburg either told me, They couldn’t fit him in or He would have to have a regular checkup then schedule the surgery a few days later. Well Julian had dislocated and fractured his Tibia and Fibula and on top of that an open wound with an infection so it was pretty urgent. Doctor Charis Thompson was able to get Julian into her busy schedule and get the job done amazingly! They are all compassionate people at Earlysville, they understood my emotions and took really good care of my baby.

We love Earlysville animal hospital! For the last several years, they have been taking such good care of our dog Arlo and cat Mabel. And they take good care of us humans too - answering all our questions and creating a truly happy and welcoming environment. I’m so grateful I found them!

I would highly recommend the Earlysville Animal Hospital to anybody looking for care for their pet. Unfortunately our cat had become sick and needed a lot of medication and help to get better. We became a regular patient for a few months. I would call frequently to ask for help or advice on what we should do. Every single person there was just amazing. They listened, and cared deeply. They did their best to help financially and did absolutely everything in their power to treat our kitty. Tragically, we had to make the decision to put our baby down. I’ve never felt dispare or grief before. The vet and the tech were so gentle and so understanding. I could not describe the gratefulness I feel towards the vet team and all that they do❤️

I have been a client of Earlysville Animal Hospital for 10 years and they have loved and cared for 4 of my dogs. I enthusiastically recommend this practice, and I take recommendations very seriously! Upon moving to the area I lived in Earlysville but now reside in Cville. I will happily always make the hour (roundtrip) drive for their quality of care. As a woman who owns her own small business, I appreciate and respect their all female staff. I have had incredible experiences with their entire support team, technicians and veterinarians. All have been kind, personable, honest, and sympathetic, straight shooters. They have not only taken excellent care of my animals, they have been good to me as well.

Earlysville Animal Hospital offers top notch service and care for our three cats. Our former vet started giving us subpar services and we began the search for a veterinary clinic that would take care of our fur babies as if they were there own pets. We are happy we made the switch!!

My dog is extremely anxious at the vet. My last vet wouldn’t come within 5 feet of him unless he was muzzled. Even muzzled the “exam” they would do was subpar. Earlysville Animal Hospital’s team was amazing. Their compassion and genuine care for their patients is top notch. First visit they didn’t even bring a muzzle into the room and they were able to conduct a full comprehensive exam, take labs and even a urine sample. I have struggled to find a vet that I have trusted in the Charlottesville or Zion Crossroads area and although it is a little further drive for us it is 100% worth it and I will not go anywhere else.

We've recently transferred our 3 dogs to the practice, primarily to work with Dr Purcell. In that time she and her team helped to resolve a potentially life threatening GI issue in our GSD. (She has turned around and is healthy again.) They've helped us say goodbye and let go of our oldest furbaby, Devo. Most recently they removed the lipbump from Gary. The lipbump was weird. So is Gary. We take the care of our animals seriously and I cannot recommend this practice more highly. As a small business owner I approach referrals carefully and I'd attach my reputation here.

We had a fantastic visit at Earlysville Animal Hospital. Our dog, Denver, can be anxious particularly in the waiting room but the arrival protocol at Earlysville eliminates that concern. The vets and staff were all super friendly, knowledgeable and took lots of time to answer our questions. We'll be back!

Our dog LOVES coming here! She runs to the staff with wagging tail at drop off. Have been using them for 10 years, great, long term team that cares about your dogs and give GREAT customer service. Have a new dog and love that we can kennel them together in an extra large suite with deluxe bedding and daily activities. Always end our stays with a bath and nail clipping.

The staff are really friendly here. When dropping my dog off, they said I could call or email to check on her if I wanted to. Check-in and Check-out was quick and easy. And most importantly, they took really good care of my dog while I was out of town. I will definitely board my dog here again the next time we travel.

Billy had a great time for his visit. Other dog owners will understand. When we get there, he is happy to jump out of the car and get inside. That is his "talking" about how much he enjoys it. And he is exhausted when he comes home. He has a great time. Billy recommends Wakefield.

My dogs have been boarding at Wakefield for years. They love it, always happy when we pull up. The managers Jennifer and Charlie are the best. I never worry when my dogs are in their care. Groomer Amy is a saint and my dogs love her! They used to be petrified of groomers until they met Amy. I have seen a few reviews posting ugly and fictitious statements about Wakefield and I can assure you as a customer for over 8 years the owners and employees love your dogs while they are there and treat them as their own. All other negative comments that have been posted are untrue and just an attempt to slander a reputable company for their own gain. The owner Andy is always accommodating and kind. I highly recommend Wakefield Kennel to board your dog and for all grooming needs! Absolutely love this place. I feel blessed to have a dependable, loyal, compassionate kennel and groomers for my dogs! Thank you Wakefield!!!

We board our dogs with Wakefield any time we go out of town. They really care about the dogs and want them to enjoy their stay! One of our dogs gets a little anxious, so the staff let him sit at the front desk with them to ease his anxiety. We use their grooming services as well and they do a fantastic job!

Wakefield always does an exceptional job. Our dog is like a child to us. So we need to know she is taken care of. The staff is incredibly friendly and very flexible with plans. Keep up the great job!!

Staff and facilities are excellent, and you can tell they really care about the dogs. We had a family emergency, and Wakefield was able to accommodate a last minute boarding request.

I boarded my dog here a few months ago while I had to travel to Utah for a week. I had never boarded my dog before and was nervous since he has some social anxiety and separation issues. When I got my dog back it was incredible. He was so happy and just seemed like he had a great time here. I know the next time I board my dog here he will be given so much love and attention he might not want me to come back!

Tracie is an experienced pet sitter. You can tell she really knows about animals. Both of my cats are older, and one has chronic kidney disease. I’m very nervous to leave them, even just for a few days. I felt like Tracie would be able to tell if something was wrong with them, which is not easy with cats. Getting daily updates was great, also. It allowed me to enjoy visiting with family and friends without being so preoccupied about whether my cats were really OK at home. Peace of mind is worth so much. Also, her prices are very reasonable. And she does more than just pet sitting or dog walking. The first job Tracie did for me was driving my cats to the vet when I was too sick to leave my home. If you ever find yourself in a bind like that, finding a solution that doesn’t break the bank is such a relief.

Tracie and Pet Nanny Services are excellent. She is knowledgeable and caring for our sweet, shy cat, Sabrina. We are grateful Tracie has cared for Sabrina several times and now our cat is affectionate with Tracie—a true accomplishment. I've used Pet Nanny Services for years. Tracie and her pet sitters are professional and reliable. Pet Nanny works with your schedule and you can use the services either on a regular or intermittent basis. Tracie's easy to reach by e-mail or phone. I never have to worry about my Boxer when I entrust him to Tracie's care. She's also offered to do other tasks, like bringing in the mail taking in packages and watering plants. Her business is 5 star!

The staff of PawsCienda are absolutely phenomenal. Our puppies went to PawsCienda for training and after just four days, their behavior and focus was incredible. Both Stephen and Julianne, the trainers, are exceptional with training and follow-up with us. We received phone updates, a video, and in-depth instruction for us to continue their training. We can't speak highly enough about the PawsCienda and their service.

We have had the best experience working with Stephen, an incredibly talented dog trainer to train our littermate siblings, who can reasonably be described as Tasmanian devils all the time. Their littermate energy is INSANE! When I first met with Stephen, the first thing I told him was that I didn’t trust my dogs. Stephen trained me how to properly and SAFELY use e-collars on my pups bc I had never used e-collars on any other dogs I’ve rescued. Stephen’s patience with me was biblical, quite honestly. Compared to me, working with my Tasmanian devils was easy. I learned so much from Stephen, that I signed up for multiple training sessions. And on top of working with Stephen to obedience train our pups, we also have the pups enrolled in doggie day care at Pawscienda, have our pups kenneled at Pawscienda when we travel, and have our pups groomed at Pawscienda. Honestly, at every level of service we have always been impressed with all the staff, the philosophy that guides Pawscienda’s values and the wealth of expertise and experience they bring to not just our pups, but all the pups, kitties, and bunnies etc., entrusted to their care. We wholeheartedly recommend Pawscienda Pet Resort for all your pets’ needs. Pawscienda is the nicest pet resort I have been to and I am so glad we found them. It’s immaculately clean, employees are so sweet, and my puppy absolutely loves going. Steve is an amazing trainer and I highly recommend any of his programs.

My Boarder was unavailable, so I chose this establishment, after researching the reviews. My pup is an American bully, who entered healthy on 12/7, and without a real explanation obtained a split nail to the quick! My hubby and I left for Thailand on 12/9. I inadvertently left my cell home! Upon returning to the States, a message of the injury was delivered to me. The injury occurred on 12/10, and no Vet services were obtained! I asked why, how and when the injury happened. I was told that my pup was aggressive! $451.00 was the charge! No bill adjustments, no Vet and no explanation was provided. Who was responsible for my pup from 12/7-12/18? This Ranch is, imo, the lowest form of canine care in this area. Irresponsible, unprofessional young adults should never be in charge of strong, young pups, imo! Hire a Vet and medically trained experienced adults over 30, is my advice. I will NEVER take my fur baby there again. Why am I in need of paying another Vet bill, upon leaving him in their care ? BE AFRAID! PROCEED WITH CAUTION. No conscious, no customer service, and no responsibility for my pups injury was taken by this establishment, imo! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ run don't walk! My only complaint is they are too busy! It does put the burden on the owner to be more mindful of planning and scheduling grooming needs in advance. They have treated both me and my 13 yo bichon with respect and I’ve been happy with the grooming and care he’s received so far. In my experience they’ve worked with me to find alternative groomers if they can’t fit me in and do call back in a timely manner if a message or inquiry is left. They do take well defined time off during the day so check website for hours and know that during those siesta hours they don’t answer the phone. They’ve consistently finished up faster than projected and I e been able to get my dog before the mid day break.

My fur babies love everyone here, Harley enjoys playing with his daycare friends, The entire staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. I highly recommend them.

Pawscienda is the absolute best! All of the staff are professional and kind. Stephen is an amazing trainer and his assistants Julianne and Charli are amazing also! I would highly recommend his classes. And a very special shout out to Payton for going over and above to make sure our fur baby was well taken care of and loved on while he was boarding there!! Payton is the absolute best and has such a way with the animals! We feel totally confident leaving our pets with them!

We can’t thank Stephan enough for transforming our dog Sully into a very well mannered, disciplined and trained dog. Stephen was so patient and kind to our family as we learned to help Sully. Always so friendly and professional! An impromptu tour of the facility was very impressive! We have used the grooming, boarding, and training services. We are always 100% satisfied! My fur baby loves to go to Pawscienda and I feel totally comfortable leaving him in their care.
