Pet Sitting in Hoodsport

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard.  Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him!
Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! 
We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. 
She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. 
Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!

This was the 3rd time that Jill sat for us. That says it all but please read our previous reviews. They all stand and Jill is one of the best and most reliable and loving pet sitters we’ve ever had. If you have a chance to have her in your home and caring for your pets, you will be absolutely delighted. We love her.

Leah was an excellent pet sitter and take care of our home when we were on vacation.
Our dogs were sad when she left.
She even made us some delicious tacos when we got home from the airport!

Bryan and Dana were the perfect sitters for Cella.  We were delighted that they were able to arrive a day early so that we could enjoy dinner with them and get to know one another. Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home!  Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses.  Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency.  It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name.  Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home.  We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout!  I cannot overstate how much we appreciated Laura's care for Scout and our home, and heartily recommend her as a pet and house sitter.  If you're lucky enough to get on Laura's schedule, your pups will be with the most wonderful stand-in dog mom you could have hoped for!

Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets!  Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks.  She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement).  You would never know this was her first TH sit.  She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!!  Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies.  She will be a great sitter for others and is looking to travel across and see more of the US while remote working.  We have adopted her into our family and she is welcome in our home anytime.  Our whole family hopes to see her again-either for a visit and/or for a sit :)     Thank you, Thank you, Melissa!!!

Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip!  From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative.  He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay.  While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby!  When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom.  I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again.  You will be lucky if he can do the same for you. :)

Jessica was an awesome pet sitter for my cat Fifi. 
She texted photos and updates everyday so I knew that Fifi was being well cared for. 
She was communicative and asked a lot of good questions to make sure she understood Fifi's needs. 
My home was equally as clean (if not more so) upon my return.
