Happy pets, no regrets!
We were lucky enough to have Maryse come back to look after our home and pets for a second time. When she cared for our 2 cats a couple of years ago, we could not believe how we had lucked out and have been begging her to come back ever since! We have kept in touch and to our delight, she finally announced she was coming back to NB! This time around, we added our 1.5 year old pup Enzo to the mix and he took to Maryse instantly. It is evident that Maryse has a lot of experience with dogs. She jogged with him every day and even taught him to run along her bicycle with a leash! She sent hilarious daily updates and pictures, which of course we loved. When we returned the house was spotless (cleaner than when we left!) and the lawn and flowers looked like a professional landscaper had been here. 5 stars is not nearly enough. We left with complete peace of mind knowing our furry babies were in excellent hands; what more could we ask for? Merci encore une fois Maryse, on se croise les doigts que ce ne sera pas la dernière fois! Enzo, Choupie et Rouki s’ennuient déjà!

An opportunity arose for a once in a lifetime trip, so it was a great relief that Aaron was available to house sit during those two weeks. We have had Aaron sit for us many times now and that fact alone says how much we trust him and how well he has taken care of our house and our pets. Both of the last two sits have had some issues that Aaron has gone out of his way to solve plus I was delayed a day returning to Ottawa and Aaron assured me, from the beginning of my epic trek home, that he would stay that extra day if needed. He has communicated issues extremely well and uses common sense in his initiative to solve any problems. Aaron had both of our cats this time (One travels with my wife when she is working in the U. S.), and it is obvious that they are extremely comfortable around him. I think they get more cuddle time with him than they do with me. Honestly, Aaron has been the perfect sitter for us and I am sure you will say the same if he sits for you.

Munira and her son, Mohammed, are dream housesitters. Munira was great about sending updates about my sweet elderly little cat. My cat hurt her paw jumping down from something and Munira informed me immediately, sent videos, and monitored her recovery. Munira even brought her food and water up to the room where she was staying when she noticed that my cat hadn't been down to eat. And you couldn't even tell that she and Mohammed had stayed in my house. Everything was as I left it - clean, tidy, and everything in its place. She and Mohammed were a delight and I would have them back again in a heartbeat. I cannot recommend them enough.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)

Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. She will be a great sitter for others and is looking to travel across and see more of the US while remote working. We have adopted her into our family and she is welcome in our home anytime. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. For our first experience with a house sitter, Jim and Julie have set the bar high. We felt totally confident that any issues would be dealt with, fortunately there were none. They were outstanding house and pet sitters whom we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.
