We are so lucky to of had Harry and Susan come and sit for us. It is such a relief being able to go away and not worry. We received pictures while we were away and the dogs were having a fab time and receiving lots of attention. It was lovely coming home, walking through the door and giving a big sigh of relief at how clean our home was left. They respected both us and the dogs and we couldn’t fault anything from the sit. We would certainly welcome them back again!

It was a pleasure to have Anne housesit our dog Finn. She clearly loves dogs and he seemed very happy. Communicating with Anne was prompt and easy and, having done housesits before, she was v organised too. What’s more, it was a delight to come home to a v tidy house!

Gemma returned to care for our dogs - this is the 3rd time she’s been here and this time she came with her own lovely dog and her family. We already knew we were leaving our house and dogs in safe hands due to previous sits, and it worked just as well with another dog and her family. The dogs were instantly at ease with everyone, including Gemma’s dog and were clearly well looked after. The house was left spotless, including stripped beds, washed sheets and even a cleaner fridge than we’d left. Gemma is not only an absolute gem of a housesitter but has also become a friend who we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to other hosts.

I knew I wanted Florence and her family to sit for us the moment we spoke! The dogs had a great time and did some long walks around Skipton and had plenty of cuddles on the sofa. We were sent photos which is always lovely to see. Liaising with Florence was easy and straightforward from start to finish. Sadly we didn’t get to meet due to timings but I trusted her enough to leave a key and instructions and we were on hand via WhatsApp. I would happily have Florence and her family sit for us again.

Experienced & Reliable with High Standards.
Valerie and Brian are a lovely couple who came to look after our home and pets in a cold wet January. They were calm and friendly and the animals got on very well with them as soon as they met them. The house was left in a very clean and tidy state and Brian even fixed a dripping tap ! The plants had been watered and everyone seemed happy. Our oldest dog had a funny turn and Brian took her to the vets , contacted us and kept us fully informed about her recovery. We would be very happy for them to come again. Excellent house sitters.

Gillian has been to sit for us before and it was really wonderful to see her again ! She looked after 2 of our dogs and they loved seeing her, especially Nelly who remembered her as soon as she arrived . Pi our other dog is still quite young and so it was a relief to have someone who knows young dogs and to be so kind and patient with him , even keeping up his heel work which was very helpful as we were away for quite a while. Gillian is so brilliant with communication and when there were any problems she was fantastic at keeping us updated and sorting everything out. I was really glad she was there and most grateful. We really hope she will come again Nelly and Pi would be thrilled to see her and so would we.

Penny sat for us for 2 weeks looking after our collie. I couldn’t really be happier with the way it went. She did exactly what she said she’d do and was flexible enough to work around our plans. She left the house immaculately clean and tidy with some cut flowers from the garden to welcome us home. I hope she’ll sit for us again. Thanks penny!

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. And when we got home, the house looked great, and the dogs looked calm. We would gladly have them. Sit for us again and highly recommend them.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! Davis and Sydney were loving sitters for our pets. We even had an extra cat (our son's) and they took great care of all of the pets and our home. David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.
