Kaz was amazing as a house sitter, stepping in at short notice when I was delayed from my return from Australia. The house was impeccable when she left and the fur kids were so well looked after I am sure they didnt miss me at all! Kaz sent me regular updates and even bonded with my shy cat 'Jack'. I nearly fell over when I received videos of him purring happily on her lap! I would highly recommend Kaz as a sitter. Her communication was great, she was confident, capable and although I wasn't able to spend any time with her she managed everything without fuss.

Gordon and Susan were the perfect sitters. They arrived early giving more than enough time to familiarise them with the house and my quirky smart features as well as the garden and chooks. Comms were perfect before and during the sit with frequent updates on the animals and weather. Gordon even donned my wellies to retrieve a parcel when the river flooded blocking the road. As ever, they looked after Moose extremely well, propped up our fence when it blew down in the wind whilst we were away, and very kindly got us out of a jam when our car broke down on the way to the airport! Animal loving Australian couple who will care for a home away from home
Katelyn and Jason arrived to care for Tosca and quickly picked up all the information we fired at them in the time we had available prior to our departure. We instantly warmed to them and felt sure they would look after our home and dog carefully. They had their work cut out for them as Tosca had 3 savage ear infections which needed a detailed daily routine and she seemed in good health and good heart when we returned - in fact I think she missed them for the first couple of days! We left the house clean and tidy for them and found our home in the same way which was nice. They kindly stayed on a little longer on the last day so Tosca wasn't alone for too long before our return. In short, they are a delightful young couple who made the most of being in this beautiful part of England and we hope to welcome them back here again before they head home to Australia.

Marg was a complete pleasure to have in our home. Unflappable and very organised. She coped really well with the rather unexpected builders and most importantly made sure Buie our elderly dog was very well cared for. Lots of contact with photos throughout our holiday. We LOVE Annie & Louie, This was their 6th visit with us housesitting our home since their first visit on T.H. They treat our home with utmost respect, the animals are well loved & beautifully cared for. My garden including veg garden which all requires a lot of watering is left blossoming & pruned & is a treat to come home to. The house is immaculate. They are now our wonderful friends & we always give them first option. They have my highest recommendation.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.

Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

Kate was an excellent house sitter and pet sitter. She was thoughtful, sensitive, and attuned to our cats and the particulars of our house. It was really easy to communicate with her and she was responsible and conscientious about everything. When we came back our cats seemed unfazed by our return which was a great sign and it was obvious that she spent lots of time with them and gave them lots of love. The house was spotless on our return and she even alerted us to a health matter in one of our cats. She sent lots of cute updates and was easy going when we messed up a logistical detail on our end. Just a delightful person all around. I'd love to have her come again and if you have a chance to have her housesit, jump on it. She is a gem.
