I boarded 3 of my dogs here and spent as much, almost less than I would anywhere else when I used to board only 2 dogs. They did great with my bunch and I was pleasantly surprised..usually cheaper isn’t always the best idea but this place is great!! My usual place was full so I gave this place a shot and it’ll be my go-to for now on. They post pics daily which is always nice and they even were nice and trimmed my dogs nails it made me feel good that they cared enough to do that, my dogs are like my children and they looked so happy in all of the pics which made me happy. Thanks so much to this sweet staff, I know mine are a handful

This establishment is a fantastic location to board your canine companions. They will provide exceptional care for your puppies, ensuring they receive ample outdoor time. A small dog pool is available for their enjoyment and cooling off, and there is plenty of space for them to run and play. Additionally, they offer dog bathing services. I highly recommend this establishment. Your puppies will have a delightful time socializing with new friends.

Been to buddies twice now, 2 different groomers, so far so good. Summer did our pups this past time, excellent job. I have a Havanese & a Chinese Crested, not the easiest to get them the way I want them♥️ Full groom & they both look and smell amazing. It's hard to find a GOOD groomer in the area who STAYS here. Definitely will be bringing my pups back to here 🥰

First time having my dog groomed with Buddies on Marine Blvd. They were very kind to my dog, communicated with me about my grooming requests, and were very efficient. My dog came out looking great and seriously has zero nicks (even with a short summer cut). My dog also had a scab (previous to visiting) that was recovering from a past hotspot, and the groomer was careful to work with that spot gently, which I greatly appreciated. He truly got the best care, and I’ll be bringing him back. :-)

Dropped off my 2 dogs for 3 days. Before the boarding I took one of my very anxious dogs up there to meet the staff and Jordan was very attentive and friendly (as were too more staff, I am not sure of their names). They were very informative and friendly and made me feel completely at ease with leaving my baby there for the first time. During their stay they posted daily pictures on Facebook and the pictures showed they were having a wonderful time. I was able to get about 10 pictures a day of them! I will definitely be back and I am extremely satisfied with everything!

Fantastic! We had our Morkie groomed here and he looks adorable. We like a shorter cut on him and Summer nailed it the first time! He has a collapsing trachea so he can be a bit hard to work with, but when we picked him up he was so happy he wasn’t even having issues breathing.

We’ve been using Buddies for the last two years for grooming services and are always pleased. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our dogs love going for their “spa days”!

These employees are amazing! I didn't realize my puppy's vax has expired and they helped me find a vet nearby to take care of that and had no problem rescheduling my dog. It's really cool to have help when you just moved to the area by ppl who go above and beyond 😀 thanks again! …

Highly recommend. Friendly environment and staff. Both my fur babies took to the staff instantly. Raven is knowledgeable and went out of her way to ease my anxiety of leaving my big babies in their care. She kept me informed on their status. I have a Great Pyrenees and their prices are on point ❤️ we have found our trustworthy daycare and groomers

I have never boarded my pets before and was extremely nervous to leave them with “strangers”. With that being said, I stopped by unannounced to see the facilities and was warmly greeted by the front desk lady who gave me a full tour of the facilities, answering my multiple questions. I found the facilities to be clean and organized. I was given the phone number to text while I was away to check on my babies and they posted daily Facebook pictures of their day. While my dogs were with Buddies, they had a photo shoot to support AdoptionFirst Animal Rescue. The drop off and pick up hours are convenient and their prices are very reasonable. Thank you Buddies for taking such great care of my fur babies!!

We love Pawadise! This is by far the best boarding service in the area. The staff is so friendly, and knows our dog by first name any time we call. They post hundreds of pictures every day to make sure you know just how much fun your pet is having. This brings a huge smile to our faces whenever we are away to know our furry friend is making friends and having fun. We get a detailed report card for every visit, and we could not love Pawadise more. The attention to detail and care they give our pet every visit means so much to us. I would give ten stars if I could. Thank you so much Pawadise team from Harley and her family!

The staff is amazing. Our shots paperwork was all messed up and they were so patient and helpful. After finally getting it all sorted out, they took my 3 fur babies back for grooming. They got them done in record time and OMG...They were adorable !!!! Soft and silky. Dogs and hubby were VERY happy. Think we found a new groomer !!!

Once again it was was another wonderful experience at Pawadice. Ms. Kitty had a awesome time. When I picked her up she was calm and happy. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. After I picked Kitty up, and we got home, she was calm and relaxed, I know because of that, she has been well cared for. She is an old girl, 11 years old, and most older animals tend to be anxious in unfamiliar surroundings. Her report card said she started out shy but quickly warmed up and craved the attention of the staff. I would highly recommend Pawadise.

Absolutely love this place! My pup loves coming here and they are wonderful with him. He has a lot of space and toys to play with. I also love that they have different groups for the hyper active pups like mine. I know when I leave my pup here he is wonderful amazing hands. If I could give this place 20+ stars I would.

We had the best experience with Pawadise! Our puppy was well taken care of, and even stopped to say goodbye to the staff before running to us at pick up. We will definitely be back! Ronnie and our family thanks you :)

I debated making this review but just for others awareness. We boarded our dogs June 30th until July 9th. They were really accommodating at first, and even continued boarding with our 6month old puppy that was beyond nervous and showed it by snipping a few times until she was comfortable and lovable. The problems came when my husband picked up our dogs. We have 3 total, 2 females and a male. 2 of my dogs (my oldest female and male) came home with a horrible cough that caused them to not eat, drink and frequently choke when they did either. They looked sick and acted lethargic. Then, my male and puppy came home with their training collars on that the boarding employees never took off or moved causing horrible hot spots. It caused the collars to be embedded into their skin and smelled bad, we were gagging. When we took off their collars, we had to pull the prongs out of their skin. We took our dogs immediately to the vet and were told our oldest female and male had the flu, and prior to boarding all of our dogs went to the vet 2 and 3 days before boarding and were given a good bill of health and were told they got it from the board (speculating), but we pay extra for no contact besides with siblings. Then, my puppy and male had to get medication and shaved for the hot spots that caused an abscess on my males neck and he couldn’t eat for 2 days. We have boarded with this company before, in October of 2023 and had a great experience and wonderful continuous experiences when we have done grooming. When we brought up our concerns to them, we were told that our dogs had to of been sick prior to coming because they don’t accept any dogs with illness?? So pretty redundant on that aspect but then when we brought up our concerns about their collars, we were told it was our fault for not instructing them to take them off or move the collars when we were told by the vet, and the boarding place prior to this it is dog knowledge 101 to know to at least move the collar in the spot to prevent hotspots.. Point of this post, they blamed us and refused any amount of responsibility and dismissed all concerns. Please be aware, it’s been weeks since they’ve been at the boarding place and we’re still dealing with the consequences of them going there.

I took our new rescue puppy, Gizmo, for his first grooming. The staff was very friendly and the groomer asked a lot of questions about his temperaments and explained her grooming process. ❤️. Gizmo looked amazing when I picked him up and he was a very happy puppy. I would 100% recommend Pawadise to my friends and family. ❤️❤️

Highly recommend!! My dogs have been to many boarding places over their lifetime and we are so happy to have found Pawadise, 100% the best boarding facility. They take their time to ensure each dog is happy and loved, you can tell the staff is very knowledgeable on animal behavior and passionate about what they do! My dogs not only had a blast during playtime but they fell IN LOVE with the staff and got to make lots of other doggy friends during their stay. The staff posts daily pictures for all family members to see what a fun time their dogs are having! With previous boarding facilities my dogs usually rush out of the building ready to go home… However, leaving Pawadise they didn’t even seem like they were ready to come home yet. Pawadise definitely makes your pets feel like it’s their home away from home. I’ve never trusted a place so much with my dogs.

Pawadise took such good care of my dog. With it being his first daycare experience we were nervous, but they reassured us that they would be testing his temperament to make sure he ended up with the right group of dogs. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely be returning! They even gave us a little report card for his first visit!

This was our 1st time bringing our 7 month old puppy (Ezra) in for grooming. Staff were very friendly, informative, and did a great job! We will definitely be back.

I highly recommend Buddies on Richlands hwy! Nala has been going over there for about 2 months and they have been nothing but helpful. When you read the reviews and when they say “my dog was pulling so hard and knew exactly where to go” they weren’t lying. Nala literally pulls me like never before she loses all her “wait” and “stay” training (she’s 5months) just to go inside buddies! Sindy at the front desk is the sweetest person ever she is very professional, kind, and loves dogs :) i know it can be a stressful job especially with a lot of dogs but they do amazing at showing each and every one personalized care and attention. ima very overprotective anxious dog mama but when she’s here i feel a relief i can get my day to day activities done & work instead of my puppy sitting in her kennel all day. Thank you buddies 🩷

I love this place and so do my dogs!! The staff here is so kind and great. My dogs are usually very nervous about being away from me but after just one weekend stay, they love returning here. That shows me they’re taken care of and are having fun. 100% recommend Buddies if you’re wanting to find somewhere safe to board your dogs and have peace of mind knowing they’re being taken care of and having a great time.

I hate having to write this review because until recently my husband and I have had a great experiences with Buddies but we are really frustrated and disappointed. A few months ago we boarded our pitbull, and her brother, a golden retriever. The pitbull, who has some anxiety, was picked up with a fully lost voice and didn’t recover for months. To this day her bark is a little raspy. We noticed when we picked them up that the back was EXTREMELY loud as well. Unfortunately it is probably not a very calming environment. The last straw was today when I received a call from buddies stating that they cannot take my pit anymore due to “agressive behavior” towards staff. Mind you, I’m across the country due to TAD orders and booked this months ago- I could have been notified way more in advance so that I could plan better. My dog has some separation anxiety but doesn’t have a history of anything like this. There could have been talks before this forewarning us, suggestions for behavior adjustments, etc but there was absolutely nothing. Just full cold turkey dropped my dog. I was super lucky to find somewhere to book her and her brother right away but likely would have had to cancel some travel plans if I didn’t. If you have a pit, I wouldn’t go here. They seem to have an innate bias towards pitbulls unfortunately. Even the sweetest girl like mine.

I don’t normally post reviews but after these guys have watched our fur boy for over two years, I think it’s time to give that 5-star review they deserve!! This staff goes above & beyond- taking last minute reservations, sending photos on long trips (including our wedding day!), & putting together events for the dogs! It takes a lot for us to leave our dog but every time we do, we only feel comfortable putting our trust into Buddies. The staff is always friendly, personable, & have a story or two to share when we pick him up. I can’t recommend these guys enough & I promise once you meet the team, you won’t want to go anywhere else!

My Fur Baby Absolutely Loves Daycare Here!!! He comes home and he isn't so full of energy because he gets to play and enjoy himself all day. The staff is amazing. And it works great for the days when I have to work 12 hours giving me a sense of relief that My Baby isnt shut up in the house all day. I recommend Buddies Inc to everyone😊

My 2 dogs always have a great time when we board them here! The staff is always nice and sends me pics of my dogs so I know they’re having fun. I’ve also had my dogs groomed here and the staff did a great job. Love this place! Highly recommend!

My 4 pups love going to daycare at Buddies Inc! Their grooming services are amazing, my pups always come home looking & smelling amazing!

They took my dog in last minute and were done in 45 minutes. I was very impressed with their staff and how they treated my dog and I. Definitely would recommend don’t waste your money or time at PetSmart.

We boarded our dogs for a week at Buddies this past August. Buddies helped us prep for boarding by answering all of my questions (via text!) as we go closer to their stay. We had great peace of mind knowing that Buddies posts pictures daily of all of their dogs playing. Searching for our pups' pics was a fun way to end our evenings on vacation. When we got back our dogs were happy to see us, but relaxed and happy. The facility was clean, smelled fresh, and the staff were friendly. We will definitely be back.

I think my guy has been going to Buddies off/on a little over a year now. He absolutely loves it!! He's always so hype and ready to get in the back. That I have to make him down to calm him lol. We had taken a break due to this virus or whatever that' was out in dogs. But he's started back now. And still just as excited as ever to get in and play. I'm more familiar with Ashley and Amanda as they were there before we took our little break. There's some new faces now and he doesn't seem to mind them. Which again makes me comfortable leaving him there. I know this is a long post. But I believe in details and truth. I'm also a "extremely" protective dog mom. (Ask Ashley lol) . But seriously if you're looking for a great doggy daycare. Try Buddies on Richlands hwy. You will not be disappointed. And you're baby will come home tired everytime. My guy will come home, eat go outside a hot minute and from there he's snoring. Try them out you won't regret it

I absolutely loved the care and the responsibility the staff has at Pawville. It was my puppy’s first time being away from my husband and I and the staff was so good about sending pictures, daily reports, and having a live camera on Athens. She was even able to have her toys and blankets with her as comfort. She was a very happy girl and I had peace of mind knowing she was loved 🥰

They take such great care of our dog. The daily reports they send with photos are really nice. Finding a place that you trust your dog with is really tough, but these folks are wonderful.

Pawville has always been a great place to take our dog Bella. We were out of town with my husbands family when Bella had an emergency on a holiday. We ended up telling the Pawville staff to take her to the vet. Mike (Pawville employee) took her to the vet and kept us updated on everything. He also sent us pictures. Mike did a great job communicating with us. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. Highly recommend Pawville and their incredible staff.

Best place ever to board your pet! This is the 2nd time I have boarded our mini dachshund with the Jacksonville, NC facility. I cannot express how well this facility is. From making our reservation to picking him up everyone was very professional. We looked forward to our daily “Report Card” and loved the personalization that was put into it. The pictures were by far the best! They made us laugh daily. If you are on the fence about boarding don’t hesitate with them. There were even a few pics of our dog with staff loving on him and that showed me how much they actually care for your animal. So Thank You for loving on our “Buddy” we appreciate you! We will be back for sure during the upcoming holidays!

Pawville is awesome. I will definitely use them again. Milo had not been boarded before. He was not traumatized at all. He was happy and VERY clean when I picked him up. I got a report everyday with pictures. AWESOME. We will be back maybe for daycare too. Milo likes playing his pals at Pawville.

We boarded our 8 month old dog for the first time and I was so overly worried and guilty from pregnancy hormones. She had also not been socialized with other dogs for a few months. She spent 3 days and 2 nights at Pawville and I was so relieved to get daily report cards of her enjoying her time and loving her new friends. They did the nail clipping add on service great and she was in zero rush to leave with me and get home. I could tell through report cards and pickup that the staff was sincerely caring and love what they do. 10/10 recommend

My almost 1 year old Yorkiepoo absolutely LOVES Pawville! I started taking her when she was just about 5 months old and truly credit her being well socialized to Jacksonville Pawville. Being someone that travels quite a bit, it eases my mind so much knowing my pup is in good hands. All of the staff is so kind and goes above and beyond to make sure she is taken care of. The daily report cards are a huge plus. Check-in and out is always a breeze. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Love this place! I have taken my dogs there the last 3 summers!! I love the pictures with my daily report cards!! There is always a staff member playing with my pups outside.

Honestly if i ever have to board my dog again i will definitely be taking her back here, i was so scared to board her but buddies took absolute the best care of her and kept her happy they were always posting pictures of my dog on fb so I got to see her everyday, which made my anxiety for boarding her go away! If you are looking for a place and you have anxiety like me leaving your dog somewhere this is the place to go for sure!

I can’t recommend Buddies on Gum Branch enough! We have had terrible experiences with other boarding kennels in Jacksonville that have left our dogs extremely sick afterwards and absolute nervous wrecks the entire time of their stay. I knew from the moment we dropped them off that they would be in great hands. The owner made sure to ask about all of the necessary information and went over our dog’s medication multiple times to make sure they got it correctly. They posted pictures of our pups daily on the Facebook page and it was so special to see them having fun at a ‘home away from home.’ You can truly tell that the owner + staff care about the animals they are watching over and enjoy what they do. We will definitely be using this kennel again next time we board our dogs!

My dogs loved staying with Jackie and the staff at Buddies! We got pictures and updates the entire week they were there-even offered a video chat for our young daughter to see the dogs. We will definitely be bringing our babies back there again.

I have used this Buddies for boarding my three dogs on four different occasions. Every time at pickup I could tell my dogs were all taken very good care of. Definitely recommend them!

Great place to board your dog to r just for daycare. They take care of your animal and care for them as if they were their own. They get to roam and play with other dogs which builds good socialization skills as pups. We take ours all the time. Recommend!

Been bringing our pups here for years! We just added to our family, and they loved them just as much as they love on our other littles. I have brought friends pets for the 1st time and have the same experience! They truly care for your pets! Lets mention the hair cuts and grooming! Phenomenal!

My pup Kleine has been groomed at Animal House for several years. Tessa does an amazing job. Kleine is a GSD so not the easiest to groom. I wouldn't take her anywhere else.

Great grooming. Terrible boarding. This place should be illegal for boarding. How is it humane to cage an animal all day except for approx 1 30min period of play time with other dogs? Then advertise this place as “having group play” and that your dog would “enjoy” being here? One walk through the premises shows how depressed half of the dogs are. No attention, toys, or stimulation. Disgusting that this place is in business when just down the road at “Pawville”, the dogs have supervised group play all day except for the 1 hour lunch break. FOR CHEAPER PRICE TOO. Total scam here.

I recently took my dog Matilda for a grooming session and I was extremely pleased with the service. We have been going to Animal house for almost 4 years now!! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they took great care of my pup. The grooming itself was done professionally and my dog came out looking clean and happy. I also appreciated the reasonable pricing for the service. Overall, I would highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a reliable and quality dog grooming service.

I’ve been going here for 5 years now and I’ve not had one complaint yet. They have always taken care of my 6 Fur Babies to the fullest. Which I’m sure hasn’t been easy at times being that I have 2 American Pit bulls and 4 XL Bullies. I will say that Sylvia has always been there to a point babies on spa day and I can tell you that I will never go to anyone else . She is the best hands down . My babies love her so much they just light up when they see her . So if you need a groomer she’s your girl. This is just 4 of my babies that she takes care off

Silvia is the best. My Luna girl just loves her and for a Great Dane with high anxiety it’s comforting knowing that my doggo feels safe and happy with her.

Thank you Nicole for always taking care of my Australian Shepherd, Moose. Nicole is extremely knowledgeable with dogs that have skin disorders and she uses products that are nourishing for their skin . He looks fantastic! Every time I pick him up he is trimmed exactly how I have asked. His toenails are trimmed back and never sore. His coat is radiant! Thank you Nicole for taking care of my little buddy,,, well worth the money.

I’ve been taking my 2 yr old shih tzu, Mayo, to see Chantel (I hope I spelled her name right) for a full groom for at least a year now and I’m so thankful I can trust leaving him in her hands. I’ve never had a problem with animal house. They are always so cheerful and helpful anytime I reach out to them. And they always accommodate my needs and wants. Giving me any advice that best for Mayo. There was a few times I used their hair coloring services and was so pleased with that as well. If anyone in the area is looking for a good recommendation for getting your fur baby groomed/pampered (check out their additional services, they have mud baths and more lol), Chantel or any other of the animal house squad will be sure to show you and your baby the proper care I know we are all looking for.

This was our first time using Animal House but had boarded elsewhere. The staff here is so nice, friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and kept me well informed. My dog has separation anxiety and did not like being boarded so he did not do very well with that but they really tried to help him calm down. They called me to ask if they could try some other methods to get him to eat (peanut butter, broth, etc.) so I really appreciated that. They also moved him to a different area to help him. While he didn't do well the staff here was excellent in their efforts, and as a dog mom it made me feel very comforted.

Kelly is awesome at what she does. She is a personal friend of mine so I've been to her house many times over the years. I've seen her caring for the dogs in her home as well as her love for my pup. She is the best and I highly recommend her. Sadly, she moved to NC and Riley misses her. You will not be disappointed.

Do not even hesitate to hire Kelly and use this most fabulous pet service! She is beyond accommodating and was able to fit us in last minute on a holiday weekend!!!!!! She provided the best care for our rescue mix Carlie Brown! Carlie has some anxieties and Kelly’s sweetness and patience made her feel like she was home! She was so loved! Kelly was amazing and sent us daily updates, videos, and the best pictures! We will definitely shout her praises and use her service again! Forever thankful for taking a chance and finding such an amazing pet care service!

Kelly took excellent care of our dog for years when she had her business in New Jersey. We were so sad when she moved, but I am happy that more families are sharing their pets with her. She has a true love of animals and prides herself on treating your pet like family. The daily pictures and videos assured me that my dog was in kind, safe hands. Kelly loves dogs and dogs love her! That’s all I could say! My pet Olly literally grew up at her place! She gets excited when she hears her voice on the videos! Our dog LOVES Kelly! She would whimper once we pull into her driveway for dropoff, as if asking "please let me out of the car now!" While our dog is boarding, Kelly sends videos and pictures daily, which eased any worries we have. Once we pick our dog, she's clean and still a happy dog, like she had a really great time. We were so sad when Kelly moved to NC! Definitely recommend her services.

We needed a sitter for our girl, Zoey, this past weekend and came across Kelly with Pawfect Petsitting and Petcare and she was able to help us out. We dropped Zoey off Saturday afternoon and soon after we were sent photos and messages about how she was doing and settling in. Kelly continued to keep us posted about our girl throughout her 2 day visit and we felt so comfortable leaving her with Kelly and her husband. We will definitely be repeat clients.
