Communication was quick and easy with updates & pictures. Both Mary Lou & Donald are very organized and followed the dog's daily schedule. The BEST! Sharon took care of our old tripod, Penny, and the young energetic dog, Paco, like royalty. The old tripod needs extra TLC and has some incontinence issues so it wasn't all that easy. She came over to walk through the house and meet the pups the day before we left for 2.5 weeks and sent regular updates and pictures while we were away. We came home to a spotless house and happy dogs. Thank you Sharon!!!

I had a great experience with Margit & Donald. Their prompt communication before arrival and during their stay, on-time arrival, and self-sufficiency (they were able to take care of installing the battery in a smoke alarm in my daughter’s room) during their stay were very much appreciated as we were out of the country. The thoughtful touch of bringing a gift for my cat showcased genuine care. Margit’s daily updates about how they spent their day were not only informative but also reassuring, providing details about my cat's activities. The only drawback was a minor misunderstanding about the departure date, leading to their early departure by a day. However, considering the exceptional care provided, it was a forgivable oversight, and I would definitely consider them again for a housesit. I wholeheartedly recommend Margit & Donald. Their responsiveness, attention to detail, and affection towards my pet make them an excellent choice for any pet owner seeking reliable and caring pet sitting.

Robert was lovely to have as a sitter! I was away in the mountains over the weekend and he managed beautifully despite me basically not having service the whole weekend unexpectedly. Theo was a really good petsitter. He took very good care of our cats and was attentive and affectionate with them. He was a great communicator and very responsive. He was available at all times to answer our calls and messages. He also took good care of our yard which needed a lot of attention. He is a very nice person too, extremely considerate, and left behind flowers and a banana bread for our return home. We did feel that the house could have been cleaner when we arrived--the fridge required a few hours of cleaning, and there was a lot of garbage stacked up outside as if it hadn't been taken out in a few weeks. We also had some serious cleaning issues mid-stay that we did discuss with Theo. Overall, perhaps we could have been clearer about expectations for maintaining a certain level of cleanliness, but we assumed that was understood. Anyway, Theo is a super nice and responsible guy and I imagine if there is clarity about expectations of cleanliness he would do his best to meet them. He was an excellent pet sitter and we very much enjoyed getting to know him.

Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list.
