Christina was amazing with our little dog who tends to be very shy with people she doesn't know. Christina went the extra mile to make sure Kona felt safe and comfortable. By the end of the first day Kona felt like she was with family. We are very particular with our dog, but Christina has earned our absolute trust.

I had such an amazing experience with Joshua Tree Pet Resort. From beginning to end, I cannot explain how seamless and convenient the process was! First of all, let’s talk about Christina! She is the sweetest, kindest person. You can tell she truly enjoys her job/life. It’s always so nice to come across good people like that, especially when you are trusting them with your pets. I have two shihpoos, Keto and Kylo. We take them with us everywhere. We plan vacations around them. However, we wanted to take a Hummer Tour around Joshua Tree - this meant our doggies couldn’t go with us. Only a week before our trip, I had to figure out a daycare thing for the dogs. I came across Joshua Tree Pet Resort and gave them a ring! Christina answered. She patiently explained the pricing and process to me and answered all my questions. She also gave impeccable directions - very detailed. I was confident in getting to her place because of how she explained everything so well and because of the overall experience I had with her over the phone and in simply viewing her website! Once we arrived to her place, another couple was picking up their dog and we were there to drop off. She has designated times for human interaction so that she can focus on our pets during the other times. We dropped them off and all was well. We came back that same day and there were no issues. Again, everything was so easy, convenient, and smooth! I can’t wait to use her services again!!! We loved visiting Joshua Tree so we know we will definitely come back. Next time, our goal is to have the dogs stay overnight at Christina’s! We definitely trust her. I can’t say enough about this place. Experiences matter nowadays and this was definitely top-notch!

I have a 4 month old corgi that I dropped off to stay with Christina for one night/ 2 full days and my goodness my puppy had a great time. Christina was quick to respond and sent us updates with pictures/videos every few hours. She was extremely kind and you could tell her and her family are huge dog lovers. She made us feel very comfortable leaving our fur friend for the night while we enjoyed the park for the weekend. He was definitely in good hands.

Christina and JT pet resort are amazing. She always goes above and beyond to ensure your pup is well taken care of while away. She will be sure to send pictures of your dogs stay and update you regularly with how they are doing. Our dog absolutely loves going to JT pet resort is eager to see Christina. She really does treat your dog as if it was her own.

Joshua Tree Resort is awesome! They took our puppy for two days so we could enjoy the National Park. Daisy was happy - and exhausted - from her fun day playing with the other dogs. We appreciated the kind care they provided and for keeping Daisy safe in the hot weather! Best decision we made!

I can't say enough positive things about this place!! I have a pup who can be a bit nervous in new places. Christina completely understood and offered to do a meet and greet before the official stay -- it went great! My dog was so excited to go back there for a 3 night stay where she made lots of friends! Christina was considerate with making sure to maintain our dogs schedule/daily habits and included her in all activities throughout the day. I appreciate the VIP package offered as it allowed my dog to get the feeling of being in a home away from home. Christina is great at communicating and was open to me reaching out to check in, sharing pictures and videos when she had time. It is very clear that being with animals is Christina's passion. We will ABSOLUTELY be using her services again! A quick pic that was sent to us during her stay there, having the time of her life!

We were in need of a last minute dog sitter during our short visit to Joshua Tree National Park. I came across their info, not sure if they would be able to accommodate us on such short notice and to our delight, Christina was able to take my senior dachshund. She and her family treated my dog like their own, giving her extra attention due to her senior needs. I felt so comfortable dropping her off, which is conveniently located on the same road to one of the park entrances. I am so glad I stumbled across their info and took a chance on giving them a call less than a day before I needed their services. We were able to enjoy more of the park, which has very limited dog friendly access. And, my dog was given lots of TLC!

This place and the owner (Christina) are awesome!! We needed a place to bring our lil pup a few times a week so that he could play with other dogs and get some of that energy out. After LOTS of research, I found the perfect environment - it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I wanted a home away from home for my lil guy and they were able to provide this. I LOVE this place SO SO much and I'm so thankful that we have this amazing pet resort in Joshua Tree!!

A very good place for daycare and boarding! It was really easy to book the day with Christina. She took great care of our dog Moka while we were hiking in the park. They have a great place with a big yard for dogs. She sent us pictures of the day. We recommend!

My cockatiel Piper had a wonderful stay. Christina was extremely kind and responsive. She is obviously a true animal lover. My pet was relaxed in her care. This is truly a wonderful service.

If you are looking for somewhere to bring your fur baby STOP! Look no further! Kamp Kelly is a doggie paradise and Kelly is a dream! We were going out of town for a couple of days and were stressed about where to leave our little guy, Simba. My husband found Kamp Kelly on Google and the reviews truly speak for themselves. I called Kelly and we had a short chat about the itinerary of our trip and a little bit about Simba, then we made a date to do an in person meet up at Kamp. Simba did really well and I knew I was going to have zero issues leaving him with her. Kelly sent me pictures everyday of the little things Simba was doing throughout his stay. My kids really loved that! She has so many areas where the dogs can lay out in the sun or in the house. Little doggie pools to cool off in this desert heat. It’s truly their own little resort! Kelly has great communication and keeps in contact with you even before you drop off just to make sure you are still on for the dates you spoke of. Overall we had the best experience and when the next time comes that we need to go out of town, I will definitely be calling Kelly to watch over our boy! Thank you again for everything, Kelly! I recently left my dog, Coco, at Kamp Kelly while I traveled outside the US to meet my parents for a few weeks. Kelly, who runs the Kamp, was incredibly friendly, cordial, and professional. She sent me daily pictures of Coco, which kept me at ease, knowing my furry friend was happy and well cared for. Kamp Kelly has ample space, and it was a delight to see Coco posing in a new nook every day. Coco had a fantastic time, made some new friends, and made unforgettable memories. I will use Kamp Kelly again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and beautiful place to leave their dog. Kelly’s attention to detail and genuine care for pets is truly commendable!

We have been leaving our dog (Roo) for stays at Kamp Kelly for the last 3 years and feel very fortunate to be able to do so. Kelly is a crazy dog-lover who has effectively given over and converted her home into a boutique dog hotel with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces that the dogs can explore and play freely, along with a bunch of comfy beds for when they’re exhausted from a long day chasing each other. She’s constantly updating and upgrading to maintain and improve the spaces. Kelly seems to be quite discriminating about the dogs she’ll accept - insisting that the pack comprise of compatible dogs - in terms of both size and temperament. When we arrive at KK, Roo jumps up to affectionately greet Kelly and then runs straight in to meet the other dogs without looking back. We get frequent texts with pix of the dogs playing and sleeping which is comforting (all the attached pix came from Kelly). The most gratifying thing to see is our little darling dog visibly torn between coming home again with us and staying with Kelly. If I was a dog - I’d insist on staying at KK’s boutique resort…..

We were thrilled with the care and treatment our dog, Winston, received during his visit to KampKelly. Kelly’s business was set up in her home and yard with several areas where the dogs could freely go. While we were gone, we received many photos to relieve our separation anxiety. My dogs get excited to go to Kamp Kelly! For them it’s like an extended stay at a dog park. They get to interact w other dogs of similar size and good temperament. And Kelly herself makes sure they have a great time… acting herself as the pack leader. The dogs love and respond well to that interaction. The facility is truly dog heaven! So much to do! So much fun for them. Kelly designed it from a dog’s perspective. That’s why they get excited to go here. No fear! Just excitement. They even get to pick their own cozy place to sleep at night. It’s given me my life back… the ability to travel a bit with peace of mind! I care so much for my two babies that it was otherwise hard to leave them anywhere. Thank you Kelly for that! And for taking such good care of my best friends. Kamp Kelly is dog paradise!

I just returned from an 8 day vacation out of the country and this is the 2nd time I have used Kamp Kelly. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a safe, non caged place for your fur baby. Her compound is all made for dogs, very clean, little paths, play areas, lots of dog beds and just a fun pet boarding facility. She sends pictures daily of your pet and I am a paranoid pet owner and can’t imagine leaving him in a cage at a kennel. I can tell my dog had a great time when I picked him up. Thank you Kelly for making me have piece of mind while on vacation and I will only use her in the future.

Kelly is great! She took care of my dog, Finn for an entire week and he had a blast. Kamp Kelly’s is a little dog resort! Great rate too! Highly recommend!

Kelly and Kamp Kelly saved our trip! Family took a last minute trip from LA area to Palm Springs. On the 2.5 hour drive we were 20 minutes away from arriving at our hotel when we discovered we booked the one hotel option that didn’t allow pets. (We were only looking at hotels that allowed pets but somehow decided on JW Marriott, which wasn’t part of our list, last second and didn’t check the pet policy 😬) Started searching for pet boarding and Kamp Kelly came up first. 9pm on a Saturday night we gave her a call and she answered! Said we could bring DJ first thing in the morning. Brought DJ the next morning and he relaxed instantly. DJ is normally clingy and always has his defenses up. He never tried to come back to me or beg to be carried, which he always does when he is someplace unfamiliar. (We had to sneak him into our hotel room for the night and he kept trying to leave the whole night. He couldn’t get settled so leaving him alone there would never have worked.) I knew then he would be okay at Kamp Kelly which made the trip great for us knowing that he was in good hands. Kelly kept us updated the whole time via text message and Instagram photos. We were able to share Kamp Kelly’s Instagram page with some family members and they got to see what a great time DJ was having also. We will use Kamp Kelly from now on. Her love for dogs shines through. As much as we love DJ with us he clearly had a great getaway trip as well. Instead of being in a hotel room alone while we hung at the hotel pool, he got to lounge at Kamp Kelly’s pool with Kelly and his new canine friends. Thank you Kelly for taking such good care of DJ!

Our pup had a great staycation at Kamp Kelly. Kelly was easy to book with and sent pictures during his stay. You can tell she really cares for all her "guests". I will book with her again!

Our dog Ellie spent a long weekend here when we were in town for a wedding. Kelly took great care of her and made us feel comfortable sending us pictures throughout the weekend!

KC is my German shepherd that I rescued when he was 3. He was not properly socialized when he was a puppy and is fearful of people. Since he is 10 now he is a complete snuggle puppy when he trusts you but it is hard for him to trust...so when I needed to leave town for my daughters wedding (along with everyone that he trusts) there was only one place I knew I could turn to Blue Barn. Everyone there is amazing and Kathi was able to understand and help KC so that he was able to settle in and stay while the family was away. Thank you Kathi and everyone at Blue Barn for everything that you do! The loving caring way you help with boarding is amazing!!!

We brought our reactive pit bull / Belgian Malinois to Kathi for help with basic obedience and safe dog socialization. Kathi was absolutely amazing in helping us get our smart pup comfortable with the commands and techniques we needed to engage him, help him understand and follow our commands, and learn to be around and play with other dogs. We loved the training sessions and so did our pup. He graduated and is now a super happy and well socialized pup. On a recent walk, we met two strangers on the trail who complimented Theo's manners and ask, "Are you taking him to Blue Barn?" Yes we are! We're planning to continue working with Kathi to get Theo to an intermediate and, one day, advanced level of obedience training. We'll also be boarding Theo with Kathi for an upcoming trip. We couldn't recommend Blue Barn more!

My dog Timber was reactive to strangers and I struggled taking him to vet appointments and in most public places. He had training in the past which helped but he began to fall into bad habits again. With a few sessions working with Kathi Timber showed a lot of improvement in his bad behavior. I have been able to talk to strangers on walks with less outbursts and he has been much better at home. Kathi is a great teacher and I would recommend her to anyone with a reactive dog. It is also important to mention Timber is 11 so it is never too late to improve your dogs behavior and improve your own quality of life. I look forward to continue working on the strategies I learned at Blue Barn Ranch.

I came to Kathi with my fearfully aggressive dog who couldn’t be within 100 feet of someone new without barking/growling, let alone let anyone near her or touch her. After only 3 training sessions she was manageable and started to let people near her and even give her pets. After our full 8 sessions she is a completely different dog- walking and playing at the park and even playing with other dogs. We still have work to do but I couldn’t be happier with how far we’ve come. I couldn’t recommend blue barn ranch enough, Kathi is an amazing trainer and motivator!

Blue Barn is the absolute best for boarding dogs. We routinely board one or both of our dogs and couldn't be happier with the care provided to them. Top notch service.

Blue Barn Ranch and Kathi are amazing! My pup, Nep, is a 75 lb white shepherd husky mix. He is a complicated fella. Dog parks and play dates were tough - he is big, he kept fighting and riling other dogs up. I had anxiety taking him out, always worried he was going to start some bar fight. Kathi gave us structure and rules, and helped me be a confident pet parent. When we first came to BBR, we took a scheduled walk through of the facility. Nep did an evaluation with another dog and he was accepted (relief!). BBR pick up and drop off times are set and strict for our dogs protection. This is a mom/pop shop after all and they give our pups 1 on 1 attention. For the last five years, we have gone to daycare there, long term and short term boarding, and training classes. Nep completed his canine good citizen certification (his ribbon is next to my 3rd grade math bee trophy), he did rally training, basic obedience and 1:1 training with Kathi. And of course my pups favorite thing to do aid swim in that beautiful dog pool (he gets so tired on swimming days I love it). Bottom line: If you invest and partner with Kathi on your pet care - Kathi will invest and partner with you. When my flights are delayed over the holidays or on work trips - she would extend Nep’s stay. When my pup had stomach issues or hot spots - I text her for advice. I appreciate how she takes time to fill me in on his day during pick up. BBR/Kathi’s structure is exactly what this Libra girl and Leo 🐶 needed.

Great place for all your 4 legged family. Completed the Basic Obedience class with my puppy. Kathi and family is awesome at what they do. Training grounds are clean and easy to access. Prices are very reasonable. I drove from San Bernardino to train here

All my Boys love Blue Barn. Run totally by family, each animal gets plenty of exercise and supervised play! We are frequent, repeat clients of over 4 years. And we come home tired!....Update....2018...Well, the family has grown!!!! We have welcomed Trouble, full brother to Thunder and Lightning (canine), into our home in January!!! And Montana, their equine brother, joined us in November, 2017 . My big boys spend 4 full days and 3 nights a week with Kathi and John. Montana, despite having his own lovely palace at my house, now resides at Blue Barn full time. Why? Because I need a dependable, safe place for them to be while I am working locally and my husband serves overseas. John keeps the ranch SPOTLESS. Kathi and her soon to be daughter-in- law Rachel exercise and love my big boys (woof). Kathi and John's daughter, Lisa, is Lightning's special girl, when she is home working on college break. After 4 days with them, they come home clean, happy and exercised! When my days exceed regular hours, my little boys also stay. I never worry, knowing Kathi makes sure Thebes gets his insulin, and trust me, he can be a challenge. The new kennel building is awesome, heated, cooled and able to run in a power outage with the generator....back to Montana....I had my other horse at Blue Barn (in the barn) for a few years, he just loved it, and John, but I brought him to my home for his last year. Now, Montana occupies his former barn stall at Blue Barn. Relief because, wow, having a horse home is a lot of work. He gets 3 feedings a day, 2 clean outs and I have plenty of space to exercise him. My little animal family has been around....not only locally, but nationally! And Blue Barn is the safest, best run place we have boarded. Very reasonably priced and we all feel just like family. If I did not have them, I could not function in my professional life as I do. Kathi, John, Lisa and Rachel. You guys make my life manageable. 😍😍

I have had dogs for years. Mainly rescues. Some not. I’ve used all kinds of trainers, when I moved up to Yucca Valey 15 years ago, I didn’t have access to the caliber of training that I had been accustomed to. A friend of mine about a year ago started posting pictures of her pup on Facebook and giving credit to Blue Barn. I reached out to Blue Barn and asked Kathy if she had any availability for me and my French bulldog. Fable and I are now officially intermediate training. We have gone through basic training private, basic group training, right now we are halfway through our intermediate private training, and this fall we plan to do group intermediate training. And then next December we will continue with advanced training. I really like the set up here at Blue Barn! Kathy is extremely smart, educated about dogs, and willing to work with Ignorant human beings, I’m specifically talking about myself. She can train any human and any dog if they are willing to be open minded. I would give more than five stars but they only have five stars for me to give. Kathy is extraordinary. – Melissa

We are so thankful for Desert WAGZ! Dawn is extremely reliable and trustworthy. You can tell she has a passion for taking care of animals. My pups are my babies and I don’t just leave them in the hands of anyone while we are away, but with Dawn I feel very comfortable and at ease knowing my pups are in great hands. She provides us with constant updates of the pups via text, videos and photos. My dogs love Desert WAGZ! She has been our go to for the past few years.

I highly recommend Dawn and Desert Wagz for pet care and services she provides. I’ve used Desert Wagz for two years for dog walking, house visits, pet sitting and transportation to grooming and Vet appointments. Being physically challenged with frequent medical stays, I wanted a dependable and trustworthy pet service that met my needs. Also, at times, my pups faced illness and injuries that made traditional daycare and boarding impractical, and being large energetic dogs, didn’t always fit in easily. Dawn walked, fed, played, gave treats and visited my pets. She drove them to grooming, her boarding facility and even a vet visit when I was unable, exceeding my expectations. She offers a high level of professionalism and dog related know how and even offered positive training and feeding tips for my two rescued rambunctious Labradors- a true dog whisperer for sure. Using good judgement and experience, Dawn does whatever it takes to provide the best possible care for my pets, and they could not be happier when she does. They are always excited to see Dawn because they know good times are coming. Dawn is extremely conscientious of their welfare and my pups are healthy, happier and more relaxed to show for it. And, so am I.

You need a great Dog Boarding service? look no further than Desert WAGZ! Dawn, the owner, has been great for our Dog Dusty! He was very skittish when first introduced but now he gets extremely excited when he sees Dawn. She is great dog whisperer as she has a great connection with the dogs. I am so happy to have someone I can leave Dusty with when I'm out of town and feel very comfortable.

As soon as i opened door, owners personal dogs unleashed and barking at my dog. Just chaotic. Pay out was via Venmo. Lady took my dog and someone in back trimmed her nails. I normally like to see who’s doing my dogs nails. I had trouble with my phone, no reception, so paying via Venmo was super inconvenient. I asked if i could pay with card, they said no. I mean the visit could have been worse. I will not be going again tho. Not organized and I’d rather find another place.

Dog Whisperer ! We have been using Dawns services for well over year and Ace loves her and you can really see her passion for dogs. She knows just what to do-is reliable a, responsible and can understand his emotions and has great recommendations! WE trust her with our anxious pup and she makes him comfortable always!

Desert Wagz, Dawn, was recommended to us for boarding. I am always apprehensive because my dogs seemed traumatized after an experience years ago and since then I've tried to find someone familiar to keep them when we go out of town. Of course, this isn't always possible. So when we found Dawn I was at first nervous but she scheduled a meet and greet. My 2 dogs loved her instantly. When she came to pick them up they went with her without hesitation. When we came back they were happy and seemed genuinely well adjusted. They have been difficult when it comes to feeding but Dawn said they ate every meal. They were not finicky when we returned. We have hired her several times now and my dogs do not even look back when she walks them to her car. She truly is a dog whisperer.

I’ve used Desert Wagz for several years and they have gained our trust with (Bubba). We use Dawn(desert wagz owner) every year to sit our dog for 3 weeks while we go out of the country. It’s been a mission to find a good place to sit our Bubba. I’ve used multiple places and I have to say most are not as they described. You would think local known Animal hospital would be the best option but no. Our Bubba is 11 yrs old now and we wouldn’t leave him anywhere else. Dawn show’s professionalism and great experience.

Dawn is amazing! She takes such good care of my dogs. I have no worries when she is watching them. She is reliable and flexible. Always there to walk them or board them when I need her to. My dogs truly enjoy spending time with her. I highly recommend.

I brought in my two doggies for grooming at Desert Wagz and the experience was great! I have one large GS/Doberman puppy and one small Chihuahua/terrier senior. My large puppy was timid considering it was his first-ever professional grooming experience. They accommodated him and made sure he was as comfortable as possible. They were also very knowledgeable about which nails to trim and which to leave alone. It's so nice to have more animal services in DHS. I highly recommend Desert Wagz!

I 💕 this pet kennel. I have used this kennel for 2 1/2 years. My Stella is now three. I can count on this kennel to take excellent care of my Stella. I can go on my vacation without having to worry if she will be okay. I love the entire check in process it's the same process for checking into a regular motel. This kennel is a real gem!

A hidden gem right off of highway 62. We were skeptical due to the lack of pictures but, this truly was an amazing experience for us and our dog. The cleanliness of the property its self and the dog kennels was superb. The owner truly cares for the animals in her possession. Affordable, professional, and prompt answers of the phone when we called. Overall 10/10 We would definitely recommend to anyone who is in search of a pet boarding service in the surrounding area.

The best option for a doggy hotel in Hi Desert for sure. Debbie is the nicest lady and always very accommodating. You can tell she really likes and cares for the dogs when you talk to her - she always works gives me an update on my dog when I called to extend or book a new reservation. When I pick up my dog, she is always happy as clam.

Great prices and amazing people! The kennels are nice and cool even during the hottest point in the day. They will have plenty of water and you can bring anything your pup needs from home, such as food, snacks, bedding and toys.

my dog is safe here..has access to the inside and outside. .with no fear of another dog being able to hurt him or vice versa..also love that it's always air conditioned or heated for them too. Walked in on a 100 degree day..cool as ice for my canine best friend. owners are super nice and helpful..will allow you to bring treats etc

No better place to leave your fur babies. Cold AC inside plus access to outside and your choice if you want your fur babies isolated from other dogs or not. Even though my little buddy didn't like it I know it wasn't because of the people there. I would give 10 Stars if I could.

Barkingham Pet Hotel is the best place for grooming my Yorkie Terrier Charlie Terrones loves it here, Jacqueline Fields is a top notch groomer Charlie and I highly recommend. All the employees are cheerful and gentle with my little dog he fills safe and treated with care when here. I drive 15 miles and worth every mile. Thank you, for so kind to my pet.

I boarded my German Shepherd for 2 nights. I checked on him several times via phone during his stay. They said he was fine just being a little picky about eating. When I picked him up he was so sick I had to take him to the vet that day. Vomiting continuously, diarrhea, very low energy. I will NEVER take or recommend Barkingham "luxury" pet hotel nor use their services again. It took him over 2 weeks to recover.

Our Min Pin/Chihuahua mix loves Barkingham Pet Hotel! And we love it too. Our Autumn gets the best care and lots of time to run around and play time with other dogs her size. I also am very impressed with the security of facility. I don't have to worry about Autumn getting loose and running away.

I was so nervous about leaving my little boy for boarding. Being that he’s never stayed overnight anywhere because he suffers form separation anxiety. But I have to say he had a wonderful time, he played and got lots of love and cuddles. Sabrina sent me updates with cute photos of how he was doing. I so appreciate that she did that, it made me feel so much better about leaving him in their care. I would 100% recommend them for boarding. Thank you everyone for taking such excellent care of Hershey and a special thanks to Sabrina who has always been so kind and sending updates.

Brian and Bella have always done very well boarding with Barkingham Palace… Brian’s tenure started when he was rescued by a local organization and was being socialized in preparation for being adopted. We used to love this place, but had a bad experience where a groomer actually clipped the end of our Yorkie’s ear off then tried to arrange the fur so it wouldn’t show. She said she “nicked” it. This was 2 years ago and we’ve never been back. Had another bad experience where their groomer was late for work and they rescheduled us, then when we showed up at the new time they tried to say we were late. Sorry. Bad consumer service and care.

I can’t say enough about Barkingham. I’ve been using them for about 10 years. And always have had a great experience. My dogs can’t wait to get to go inside. And they are always greeted with kisses. And all the incredible people that work there.

My two dogs loved this place. It was so beautiful and clean. The background of the mountains behind them. It’s like dogs playing in paradise! My dogs were running in and When I pick them up they were very happy. The staff was so nice there, i highly recommended Barkingham pet hotel in Palm Springs! When we go back we will definitely bring them every day there. A plus!

I don’t live in the area but I will make the drive to drop off my precious Nyla cause she can’t just go anywhere and she has to feel comfortable with the place. I love that her room had a camera so I can watch her.

We boarded our Maltese here in the past and no issues. He is 12 years old now and they informed us that they will not board him any longer as he is a "senior dog"'. This is an amazingly myopic and mean spirited policy that does not take into account the varying aging process for different breeds, not to mention large versus small breeds and the health of the dog itself. Given what they charge, this is kind of obnoxious and arrogant.

Lauren is awesome, we are lucky we found her for our two dogs. She has been fantastic with both dogs especially our highly anxious one. She has watched them for the day and boarded them over night. They cant wait to get out of the car when we drop them off.

Lauren watched my dog (Bruno) for several weeks. She kept me updated with pictures and text messages on Bruno’s daily activities and overall wellbeing. Bruno looked fantastic when I picked him up, and I will not hesitate to have Lauren watch him again. She is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about the animals she takes care of.

I have been using Lauren for about 5 years and she is the BEST!! I just love her enthusiasm and joy that she gives to all her dogs. With two previous dogs they would spend the night and also just go to day care. With Peaches - our current Cavapoo - she can't wait to get out of the car and go into Laurens house. We've boarded her but also use the daycare for a day of golf! Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!!

We have used Lauren multiple times to pet sit, This time we were gone quite a bit longer than the previous times and she made sure to give our dogs extra love an extra attention to fill the void of us being gone. Lauren is fantastic, she goes the extra mile with your special one. Scruffy has emotion needs and has meds and she knows how to make him feel happy. She lets him snuggle on the bed with her which he loves. She understands his needs and I know he is in loving care. She keeps me posted on how he is doing. Which is great. Lauren has taken care of our two rescued mixes for several years ( plus an extended family member’s pup. ). Sometimes it’s just an overnight or a long weekend, but we’ve used her up to a few weeks at times. We feel so comfortable knowing that she is extremely experienced and she is even helpful with solicited advice when they aren’t there and we have a training issue. She has had to give our pups medication and has no problems contacting vets if needed. Our pups might be a little spoiled by the attention they receive when they are in her care. If you were to ask our pups about their experiences, we think they would both give her two paws up!

Lauren is beyond the best! We rescued our dog, Max, as a puppy after spending over a month in a shelter. Lauren not only has given Max a safe and fun place to stay, but also has given us great advice on training him. We know Max loves Lauren as much as we do….he races to her door as soon as we pull up!

We have 2 dogs, both 8 year old Akita mixes. Lauren has been a part of their lives in one way or another since we adopted them when they were puppies. Lauren is extremely reliable, consistent and always goes above & beyond. She’s easy to communicate with and very attentive. She has tons of safety measures, plans and precautions in place to ensure any animal on her care is safe, well cared for and (most importantly) comfortable and loved. Her home and yard is always clean. She’s helped care for our dogs on many occasions, boarding them in her home or doing drop-ins at our home. Even providing behavioral help. And, we’ve witnessed her board and work with many different types of animals over the years. At some point, one of our dogs developed severe allergies. Lauren was instrumental in helping us work with a vet to diagnose the problem, better understand our dog’s illness and even create a long term treatment plan for him. She’s still attentive to his allergies and sensitivities when she cares for him. It’s not just about pet sitting. She’s extremely gifted and truly has such a passion for animals and their overall well-being. We jokingly call her Dr. Doolittle, but she really is so in tune with animals’ needs. Her knowledge and expertise cannot be matched.

Lauren has been taking care of my eighteen month old Boston Terrier twice a seek, since he was 7 months old and she has been wonderful, helping me with training and giving him plenty of play time and exercise. She is always more than happy for a drop in visit, for cats or dogs, and her boarding service is wonderful, as I never have to worry about his care. As I work fulltime, I don't know what I would do without her help and loving care of my active little dog.

We HIGHLY recommend! Lauren is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and attentive to all of the animals in her care. The boarding facilities are clean, spacious and comfortable, providing a home-like environment with an incredible grass yard that the pups love! We also appreciate receiving updates and photos which bring smiles and peace of mind knowing all is well. The dog walking and pet drop in services are also top-notch, and Lauren always goes above and beyond to ensure our animals receive the attention they need while we are away. We trust Lauren completely with the care of the rescue animals in our care as well as our personal pets and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe environment AND a knowledgeable and loving pet sitter.

We had a last-minute trip to Palm Springs and our condo didn't accept pets, so Debra came to our rescue. From beginning to end, she was easy to communicate with, made pick-up/drop-off very easy, and provided frequent updates throughout out pup's stay. You could tell how much she loved taking care of her guests and making sure they felt comfortable in every way. We would highly recommend Doggie Heaven B&B to anyone in the Palm Springs area!

Debra is the kindest and most compassionate floofer caretaker. If you're looking for day care or boarding more akin to leaving your dog with a friend or family member as opposed to a high volume overstimulating kennel, look no further. Our guy runs on the anxious and shy side yet, after a few days of boarding came back happy and well rested which I can confirm is only possible with exceptional care from a true dog lover and great environment. I give this place a 5 star because Debra is really caring for all the dogs. I really appreciate the updates and pictures that she sends. My dog gets pretty anxious sometimes but he doesn't hesitate when I bring him to Debra. I like that they are not in the kennel and free to move about and my dog is used to doing that at home. He always looked like he's having a great time. I brought my dog to her twice already on different occasions and the first time I contacted her it was a last minute and late at night but she was really flexible and she agreed to care for my dog for a couple of nights. We're not from Palm Springs but will definitely keep coming back to Doggie Heaven whenever we're in town. I definitely recommend her to anybody that wants a real loving person to care for their fur babies.

I lost my pet sitter last minute before a 3 night trip to the Palm Springs area. I found Debra off of Yelp and she instantly got back to me. Her texting process for booking a reservation was fantastic. Text threads are the way to go! I am a very nervous pet parent and am always worried about my miniature schnauzer. I have boarded her at larger boarding facilities and she always came back disoriented and not herself. I could tell that is was way too much of a stressful process for her. I went specifically with Debra because it’s a home environment and she only takes smaller dogs. Her place ended up being a GEM! She was very responsive, friendly, and communicative. She gave me an update after my dog’s first night. She posts tons of pictures on Instagram which was so great. It gave me peace of mind. From the second my dog met her to when we were picking her up, you tell she adored Debra. She is my mini’s friend for life now lol. I will absolutely be using her again and 110% recommend her to anyone looking for pet boarding. Thank you, Debra!!

My little doggy had a blast staying here. It was my first time being away from my dog overnight since she came to my life few years ago. It made a world of difference and provided me with peace of mind by how she posts videos of each dog on her Instagram story. I was so nervous to leave my dog, who can be very shy and afraid, with someone new. But Debra was AMAZING. She has an uncanny way of connecting with the dogs and making even the shyest of dogs feel right at home right away. Debbie is nothing but amazing when it comes to dog sitting and taking care of our fur babies! We have been using her for 4 years now and every time our dogs stay with her, they are always so happy during AND after their stay! This is my first experience leaving Dover at a daycare and at the moment he met Debra I can see he was thrilled by the way he ran up to her. I appreciated the photos she sent all day and when I picked him up he was still wanting to go back and give her kisses. I know he had a great day and was cared for and loved, which is what I want in a day care. Would definitely use her again.

Great place to have to drop off your dog for the day. You have to drop off by 11 am or you cannot which it sometimes cumbersome. Half day is $28 for under 6 hours. My dog is not the happiest here due to the room is full of dogs and she is not comfortable like that. My dog just walks around with the staff. They have an awesome set up of a Pup can that you can open the app and see your pup. What a blessing;) to see your dog even if you know she’s a little stressed but safe. But sometimes I need to do things like doctors appointments and need a place for her to be safe. The staff are great and seem to love the doggies.

WOW! I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. Staff, so nice friendly and informative. Pricing is very affordable. They provide the perfect solution for my puppy when I need to take my special needs kids on trips. AND most important my dog loves it there!

A friend of mine suggested I bring my rescue here to help socialize him. He was scared or wary of everyone. It took time and while there is no official training they took special care to help meet his needs. The staff are all wonderful with the animals. Going in to see my boy love on Mandy and the other staff members makes me so happy that he can socialize now with both animals and humans. The staff are so great and so caring your dog is in the best hands possible. Tammy runs a wonderful business and I feel that their attention to me is as wonderful as their caring for the animals. I honestly could not say enough about everyone. I should also mention that the environment is impeccably clean. They have an indoor and outdoor area but are weather conscious so when temps are to high they shut that part down and bring them all into the air conditioning. They do not cage the dogs who are boarding but let them sleep where they want to in their sleep room and staff is there with them all night. Even the grooming is good and they pay special attention to the dog and owners needs. I forgot to mention that they plan fun seasonal events for the dogs and you can peak in on them during the day online with their pup cams. Now my boy has a girlfriend and best play pal. Never thought I would ever see that happen but because of village pup my boy is a happy normal pup.

Best doggy daycare/boarding facility ever!! This is my first time away from my puppy for a long period of time and I just received a check in text with pictures about how my dog is doing! Our dog loves it there. It's one of the few places she's been and didn't try to follow us out of the door when we leave. It's nice to look at the pup cam and see her playing with other dogs and people. I highly recommend The Village Pup.

Great in every aspect from accommodations to the people who all love dogs. Our golden retriever is very social and absolutely enjoys her stays here. I can’t say enough about the entire staff as they have been so helpful, provide fantastic communication, and genuinely take an interest in your pup to get to know all about them and what they enjoy.

The owner Lori is exceptionally caring with all of her fur babies! When we went on our 7 day vacation we received humorous and heartfelt video and photo updates every single day. In each photo our dachshund was smiling so big all of his teeth were showing! She is organized, professional and wonderful to work with. We are so relieved that there is a local boarder/day care program that only takes in dogs 20lbs and under! Thank you Lori for being a trustworthy person to leave our family members with! I would recommend to anyone!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Bonzai's doggy daycare!!! Rosie has found lifelong friends and learned how to get along with all kinds of dogs. Lori is amazing and has set up such a well organized place for fun. Rosie has also stayed with her long term and thoroughly enjoyed herself. So glad I found her when we moved to town.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DOG SITTING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! Seriously... I can't give one complaint. Laurie would message me pictures throughout the day- not a bunch but enough. My dog seemed happy and clean. When I picked him up he was not overheating or thirsty. He didn't rush to me like he needed to he saved. Laurie was responsive to messages, she seems to love dogs and happy with taking them! Her house was clean and smelled great. I mean it's like everything I looked for was done exceptionally well. I will for sure be taking Indy back there!

Lori was absolutely the best person we could have dreamed of to leave our 16 year old miniature Labradoodle Dee Dee with!!! We were in Palm Desert for 12 days and knew we were going to be playing many rounds of golf along with a day trip to Disneyland. We really didn't want to leave Dee Dee in the house we were staying at all alone for 8+ hours a day so my husband did some research ahead of time and found Bonzai's Bark. After reviewing Lori's website, everything LOOKED great, so we arranged for a meet and greet the day before we actually wanted to start leaving Dee Dee with Lori. LOVED her, her backyard and indoors for the pups and her "dog sense" ... she has a total understanding of what they really did need while they were away from their owners ... we felt very comfortable leaving Dee Dee the next day while we played golf. Lori texted us several times, throughout the day, to say Dee Dee was doing fine and even sent pictures! The rest of the trip we continued to use Lori and even had Dee Dee spend the night on the day we drove to Disneyland and back. She was at Lori's a total of 6 times over 12 days ... She did great! Lori is awesome ... we wish we could find someone like her back home here in Federal Way, WA .... thanks again, Lori, for being our dog's best friend!

Lori does an amazing job when watching our furry children. On extended stays, my wife and I can enjoy our time together without having to worry about our boy’s safety or well being. I highly recommend using BonZai’s Bark for a day stay or longer.

Lori is amazing!! I had serious anxiety about leaving my 8 month old puppy, but she took all that away. Tbone spent a week with her while we vacationed. Thanks to Lori's loving care we all had a great time, especially Tbone. He came home one happy healthy pup! She taught him how to interact with other dogs, an invaluable lesson. He will be spending time at Miss Lori's on a regular basis! I dropped him off today for the afternoon and he ran right to her, he couldn't wait to give her kisses!
