I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. Laura is incredible! For starters, she is a clear and considerate communicator who is reliable and trustworthy while setting up details for a sit in advance. From there... where do we start?! Laura (and her sister Stephanie, for a few days) took care of our cat & dog for a week-long sit. We were immediately at ease with both of them, and it was clear that they were excited to meet our pets and love them, and relaxed and comfortable in this role. They asked informed and curious questions about our pets, routines, and the surrounding area to set up a successful sit. When we departed, our dog hardly seemed to notice, because she was getting to know her new people! The snuggle-fest and hiking adventures that took place while we were gone resulted in happy pets who were calm and content. We received daily photos, which were heart warming, and assured us that dog hugs and cat exercise were taking place. Our dog is very affectionate, and Laura made sure that she received plenty of love while we were gone. Upon return, our home was spotless - tidy and clean (possibly cleaner than when we left, and we tried really hard!) We are games people, and Laura left us some of her favorite games to play (yay), and gifts for our pets, which were so fun to open when we got home. Everything was so thoughtful and kind. Laura is absolutely one of the top sitters we've ever had, and we are so grateful for her care. She went above and beyond basic home/pet care, and her compassion shines through in all of her communications and actions. She (and Stephanie) are welcome anytime, and we (Zora and Morris especially) hope they will come stay again!

Absolutely wonderful place and super friendly owners! We were camping up in Kanab and needed somewhere for our pup to stay while we went on a canyoning trip. We decided to take her to Happy Horse and we're so happy we did. We picked up a happy & tired pup.
This was my first time boarding my pup and I did not regret it one bit! Very glad I brought him to this resort. Darlene and her husband were very professional and made the whole process of boarding my dog easy. She even sent me pictures of him while I was out in Zion, which gave me a peace of mind. When picking up my dog, he did not want to leave and started crying when Darlene and her husband started walking away. This just shows how much they care for these creatures and I will be definitely coming back to them in the future. Highly recommened to anyone visiting Zion and other parks as almost no places allow dogs to be in them. Thank you both so much for taking great care of my pup!

Top notch, caring, safe, clean, professional, and responsive are just a few words that come to my mind when I think of our experience with Happy Horse and Dog. Darlene and Steve took amazing care of our high energy border collie while we enjoyed the Grand Canyon. Our dog "Bormio" expressed a little concern when we dropped her off but Darlene was so calm and clearly knew how to handle our dog - or any dog for that matter. Bormio very soon became comfortable and it was clear to us that she has a great time and was treated very well. The communication was also fantastic, when we first inquired about boarding we sent some questions and got a response promptly. During Bormio's visit, we were sent pictures and updates via text. I would absolutely recommend Darlene and Steve to anyone who needs daycare or boarding while traveling or on a regular basis for locals. I can't wait to use Happy Horse and Dog again!
Darlene is the best and honest. We booked our dog to stay with her. Upon arrival, she told us that the dogs that she was taking care of had the canine coughing. She gave us options to stay with her with a risk that our dog might get it; or cancelled our booking and helped us find another pet sitter. We chose the latter, and she was very helpful and was able to get her friend to take care of our dog. We will definitely stay with you next time when we are in the area.
This is the only dog daycare in the area and Darlene was amazing! She let us drop off our dog earlier so that we could make it to Page on time for our slot canyon tour. We made a last minute change of plans and did a sunset tour in east zion. I checked in before to make sure it was okay if she watched our dog a couple hours more and she was good with it. She took care of our dog for over 12 hours… Darlene went above and beyond and was so nice!
Darlene took such good care of our sweet dog Ember while we explored Zion NP. From the moment Ember met Darlene her tail was wagging. When we picked Ember up she was still just as happy.
