Pet Sitting in Kennett River

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard.  Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him!
Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! 
We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.

Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency  and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.

Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We look forward to working with Kyle again.

Anna and Alan were absolutely brilliant. This was my first time using a sitter for our pup and from the start Anna was reassuring and put me at complete ease. I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days.  We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was.  We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out.  All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely.  Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for.  The koi were also active and happy.  

Janis is a “cat whisperer”.  She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background).  Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. 

Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children.  They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. 

Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish.  We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again.  If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.

Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat.  He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care.  Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy.  I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!
