Pet Sitting in Kianga

Karen was perfect! She took excellent care of Charles and our home. We so enjoyed meeting her and hope she will sit for us again. We give her our highest recommendation.

Our Housesitters, Marie & Anthony, were THE best sitters we have had over 10 years of using this service They were responsible, reliable, honest, kind, caring and nothing was a problem for them. We had lots of contact initially, which made the “job” very easy to navigate for both parties. At the outset, M&T were quick to adjust to our routine and settled in smoothly, so our pets bonded quickly, which put us at ease. Lots of contact but not too much - we received all the necessary news while away and got updates on the pets, which suited us perfectly. M&T also worked really well with our support people, so everything was taken care of, they even helped my elderly mother when her pet passed suddenly.. We felt much more comfortable being away than we expected to, which is why we have nothing but praise and gratitude for Marie and Anthony. We'd have them back in a heartbeat!

Hugo our Labrador was so well cared for and we had regular updates. The house was spotless. Linda and Glenn were so good that neighbours asked how to contact them as they saw Hugo regularly cared for and looking so happy. When we returned Glenn and Linda had even left a meal for us which was so appreciated.

Steve recently house sat for us for a week whilst we visited family in the UK. He agreed to arrive a day earlier than we were leaving in order to familiarise himself with the dogs, their routines and varying needs and the house. The dogs took to him immediately so we were reassured by their reactions. While we were away he kept in contact to let us know how they all were and to ask anything that he wasn't sure about. He walked the younger two every day and let Belle set her own agenda as she does with us. On our return he picked us up in our car from the airport and stayed another night, cooking us our evening meal. The house was clean and tidy just as we had left it and the dogs were happy and contented. Steve was a trustworthy and competent house sitter and we would have no hesitation in recommending him. We didn't meet Andrea on this occasion as she did not come to Europe with him.

I feel blessed to have found Madhu and Mike. They were all I had hoped for and more! They came to meet me a couple of weeks before the sit, then Mike came a couple of days before to see how everything worked. My pets were very well looked after and were relaxed and happy when I got home - to find a bottle of wine and a lovely card waiting for me. Mike even replaced a towel rail in my bathroom! Sheets and towels were washed the morning of their departure and my house was left just as they had found it. I hope that Madhu and Mike may be available again in the future and I would highly recommend them as sitters.

We felt completely confident leaving our home and dog Ziggy with Sue. She maintained contact before we left and during her stay, sending photos of excursions with Ziggy. The house was spotless and Ziggy was very relaxed on our return. Thank you so much Sue 😊

Cathy and Ian were excellent housesitters. They looked after our 3 pets as they were their own. They gave updates and photos which made us feel at ease while we were away. They were caring and respectful of our home and pets. i would happily recommend them :)

Carol was fantastic! Communication with Carol from start to finish was excellent. It was our first time leaving our pets so we were a little nervous. Carol arrived the day before as requested by us and her interaction with the animals really put our minds at ease. Carol updated us regularly and the animals were really happy. Kate and Ben were the most amazing dog sitters. Milo took to them straight away and they were both so kind and loving towards her. They took her on beautiful countryside walks and took her to the markets with them. Kate and Ben immersed themselves in the life here in France and made the most of the countryside, towns and villages. They sent us very regular updates and plenty of photos. They are the most delightful and engaging couple and I was very sad to say goodbye to them after they spent a day with us after our return. I recommend Kate and Ben most highly and I shall be keeping in touch with them now.

Linda stayed at our house for one week and we couldn't have wished for a better sitter to look after our house and pets. Linda was clearly experienced and comfortable with our dog and cat. She took our dog Alfie out for long walks every morning and made sure their usual routines were followed. She also posted us regular pictures and updates which was great. Having met Linda for a short while prior to us going away, we were quickly reassured our pets would be in safe hands, and that proved correct. We would not hesitate to recommend Linda and would be really pleased to host her again if the opportunity arose.
