Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.
Claire's performance as a house sitter surpassed all expectations, making her an absolute gem in the world of home and pet care. She demonstrated exceptional courtesy and communicated with remarkable clarity and promptness, keeping me informed every step of the way. Punctuality and reliability are hallmarks of Claire's service. She arrived exactly when promised and was fully prepared to manage all the responsibilities we discussed. Her proactive approach and diligent attention to detail provided immense peace of mind. Not only did Claire take impeccable care of my home, but his affectionate and attentive handling of my beloved pup, Modi, was truly heartwarming. Her updates and thoughtful notes about Modi's well-being were incredibly reassuring, making me feel connected even when I was away. Clair's meticulous care extended beyond the basics. She went above and beyond, ensuring that every aspect of my home was looked after with the utmost respect and consideration. From watering plants to maintaining cleanliness, her efforts were nothing short of extraordinary. I wholeheartedly endorse Claire for anyone seeking a trustworthy and dedicated house sitter. I look forward to having her back and cannot recommend her highly enough. A solid 5-star rating is an understatement for the exceptional service she provides!
We had the pleasure of having Tara as our house sitter while we were away, and we can't praise her enough for the fantastic job she did. Not only did she take excellent care of our home, but she also showed tremendous love and attention to our beloved dogs. From the moment Tara walked through the door, we could tell she had a genuine passion for animals. She immediately bonded with our dogs, and they seemed completely at ease with her. Throughout our trip, she provided us with regular updates and photos, which truly put our minds at ease knowing our boys were in great hands. Tara took great care of our home as well. It was evident that she respected our space and coming back home, we found everything just as we left it, if not even better! We highly recommend Tara to anyone in need of a reliable, trustworthy, and caring house sitter. Her communication was excellent, and she proved herself to be a responsible and dedicated individual. If you want to ensure your pets and home are in the best hands while you're away, Tara is the perfect choice. Thank you, Tara, for taking such incredible care of our dogs and home. You made our trip stress-free, and we're truly grateful.
Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. She will be a great sitter for others and is looking to travel across and see more of the US while remote working. We have adopted her into our family and she is welcome in our home anytime. Our whole family hopes to see her again-either for a visit and/or for a sit :) Thank you, Thank you, Melissa!!!
Lyndsey and Jordan were wonderful pet sitters and house guests. They kept us informed of how our pets were doing and went above and beyond to care for them. We felt entirely comfortable leaving our home and pets in their hands and arrived home to find everything tidy and the pets well cared for. We would absolutely have them sit again if the need arose.
Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.
Laura was amazing with communication from the very beginning. She sent updates of photos and videos without even being told or asked to do so. She was watching our cat and treated her like her own. Laura was also very responsive when we were trying to find a sitter for our dates and answered any and all questions we had about her experience with pets and house sitting. I would recommend her to anyone! :) and hope we can have her house sit again for us.
David was a super interesting guy, we had good conversation. My place was clean, my cat was happy...he communicated with me.. David is a great house and pet sitter . He is very gentle, which my cat enjoys.
If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. I can recommend her as a sitter without hesitation. Thank you Anna
Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

The best thing about Puget Hounds is that my dearest dog, Jake, loves to go there. He gets his hugs and love from the lovely people who work there. He has his regular dog friends. It is a second home to him. He is safe, he is fed to my directions. It is a great place for a dog and a great business to work with for a dog’s owner.
My dog Mady seems to love all of your staff. I believe that he has a good time playing with the other dogs. I was so impressed with Amber on your staff. I am handicapped and I was fearful that my dog could get out when someone opened the front dog if he was not tight on his leash. Amber helped me put his leash and harness on. She was so thoughtful and kind. Mady is only ten months old. He is a lot for me to handle with my osteoarthritis, but no one could love him more dearly and give him a better home than me. He needs the socialization at Puget Hound that I cannot give him at home.
Earlier this year we got our pup Luna signed up. She loves going to daycare! She has made great friends and it always excited when we drop her off. She comes home tired from a day full of play. The staff are very friendly.
Puget Hound has been an absolute sweet haven of delight for my dog. She loves daycare and all the fun and social interaction with other dogs. The staff is so kind and caring. The team makes it so stress free and easy to manage drop off and pick up scheduling. We can’t say enough great things about Puget Hound
Our lab Bode has been going to Puget Hound since March and so far he's loving it! It was unnerving sending my fur-baby off to daycare for the first time, but the staff at Puget Hound have been very responsive to any questions or concerns that come up. I would like to give a special thanks to Abby & Riley. Abby did our initial questionnaire for his temperament test and was super reassuring throughout the process (this helped me feel like he was in good hands!) Upon drop off/pick up, Riley always has a smile on her face and (today specifically) was prompt in relaying Bode's first photos and report with me - I'm so grateful. Big thanks to all the staff at Puget Hound!
Bandit has been going to Puget for over two years now. Not only does it give him an opportunity to run and play all day, it gives him time to interact with the other pups, which is a good thing for him. The staff are great. They clean him up on the wet days, and the always have him ready when it's time to go home. Having him somewhere that they show they care about him as much as we do is important.
Puget hound has been such a god send for me! I work from home and am always looking for an opportunity to get my little Rosie the chance to play while I’m typing away. The staff here has always fostered a fun, safe, and seamless environment for Rosie to have the best time! She has made so many friends and always comes home ready to sleep for days! Thank you Puget hound for being Rosie’s second home!
My dog Monty absolutely loves it here! He can't wait to go "play with doggies" as I tell him! The staff is so helpful, attentive, and really love the dogs, and you can really tell the dogs are having fun too. I love that he gets indoor and outdoor play time and comes home tired at the end of the day. I haven't used their boarding yet, but I would feel totally safe leaving Monty with The Puget Hound for any length of time. As a very protective dog parent, having someplace that I can safely leave my pup for the day while I run errands, work, or do whatever needs to be done is priceless. I'm so happy I found Puget Hound and recommend them to anyone!!
recently in the area and required dog daycare for my dog. Puget hound was absolutely amazing with accommodating my need and took him for the afternoon. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and friendliness of the staff. Great service and my dog seemed to have a good afternoon there
Our small dog always has a great time and has made friends. Great place to let your dog have fun while you're at work. Would recommend to others.
I have been taking my dog to Rover Stay Over for about a year and a half. We typically do the premium bigs lodging. The premium option has her play with other dogs in group play for most of the day! The staff will sometimes send us photos of all the fun she is having. Every time I drop my dog off she is very excited to be at Rover Stay Over. When I pick her up she is tired for a day or two. I am very happy that my dog is in a safe environment and enjoys her time so much! The staff is very friendly as well.
I was staying in the Lyden area camping and needing an overnight facilty for my dog because we had to go fishing VERY early. I contacted Rover Stay Over and set-up a reservation. Even being from out of town, they were able to take my dog because I had all the appropriate vaccine information, etc. Bailey had a great time and was one tired pup when I picked him up. Thank you Rover Stay Over for the ease of everything. "Your facility is PAWsome!" - @sirbaileyshark
We needed some help for a few hours during a day trip across the border. Not having connections in the area, this site was a perfect resource. The process was seamless and communication was great. Tobi had a great time here and we are grateful for their services.
Rover Stay Over was able to get my dog in for a 6 day “emergency” when my regular boarder went on vacation. The facility is clean and professional. The staff clearly LOVES the dogs (I got to hear them talk to other pet parents - it wasn’t just me). I loved the report card and photos so I knew Charlie was having a great time. I’m definitely going to be a regular!!!
I was looking for a new place to groom our 2 year old cockapoo. It was suggested for me to bring him to Rover stay over for grooming, which I didn’t know they had grooming options. I was very happy to find that our dog was groomed to exactly how I had asked and was treated with care and love. Plus, the price was completely reasonable and very much within my budget. I will definitely come here again!
Our dog loves going to Rover Stay Over for their daycare playgroup! Her excitement shows when we drop her off. She gets to run off leash and play with other dogs in a fenced, supervised area, which is so good for her. The staff there is friendly and experienced. We’ve also boarded our dog there from one to several days and are happy with that experience too.
We love taking our doggos to Rover Stay Over. The dogs are super excited to get there, practically singing with glee when they see we are slowing to turn into the driveway. The staff clearly love all their charges and we love them back. The only gripe we have is regarding overnight boarding policy that if you leave your dog after 11am on the pick up day they will charge for another day of boarding rather than a day of daycare. This is a new change this year, which is why it is why I mention it. We have learned how to work with this, but we preferred the way they did it before. Thank you for being in the community and making our dogs so happy !
Our pup came home very ill with some respiratory infection, lethargic, not eating. He could barely keep his eyes open. They told us this 2 days before I picked him up early- and only because I called and inquired how he was. Only one report card after a couple days and then several days went by with no communication. I had to call and ask for one, and then they said he was coughing and they would " keep an eye on him." Said he also wasnt eating. Seems they should have realized he was getting really ill. He's been home 24 hours and looks very sick- going to vet first thing tomorrow. They need to do much better with observation, and communication potential issues. Not recommended at all. My dog was a healthy 8 month old when he went in. I'm quite concerned now.
We love Rover Stay Over and have left our dog, Briggs, in their care for many years. We love picking him up freshly bathed in his adorable bandana, exhausted, happy, and healthy.
My dog didn’t want to come home with me. I was happy and sad all at once, as he kept looking back. Once we got home, he curled up in his bed and took a nap. I could tell that he was tuckered out from so much fun. We look forward to our follow-up visit the following weekend and plan on making this part of our routine. Thank you I will recommend you to everyone I know with a canine friend.
Dewey our 16 year old Aussie Golden mix needed some TLC. Having lost our groomer we decided to try NW-K9's grooming facility. Shauna listened to our concerns intently. When Dewey was ready she told me of her skin condition and suggested our Vet have a look-see. A bit more pricey but very well worth it.
I have been coming to this groomer since in was called Northwest Kennels back in 2019. I cannot speak to their daily boarding services, but I just had an unfortunate chat with someone from their business after I had to cancel a groom last minute (40 minutes notice). My son woke up with a fever and ear infections and I needed to get him to urgent care. I was informed that I would need to pay the full costs of the canceled groom ($120-$130, so has gone up quite a bit) before they would allow me to schedule again. I have never canceled last minute before. Interestingly, at our previous scheduled appointment back in 9/2022, there was a miscommunication between the staff members at the facility once we had already arrived, and we were told our groomer did not show up for our dog’s appt. We had to turn around and take our dog home. We took about a 9 month break of using them after this; as I had driven an hour from Everett to get my dog there, just to leave with no groom. I explained the situation that occurred last time, and asked if we could waive the double full groom fee, seeing as we didn’t get one last time - I was told “This is our groomer’s livelihood and last minute cancellations (30 min) before appointment time leaves them with half of their day unfilled with no time to fill the appointment, thus the 24 hour cancellation policy. At this point regardless we are booking out into August for large dog grooms that aren’t on a regular schedule. We appreciate your past patronage.” The grooming services themselves were fairly consistent and we were happy with it. To their credit, the manager did try to call and reach out after the above ^, but we will just be looking to find another facility. Hopefully other’s interactions will be smoother.
We entrusted Northwest Kennels with our little Cooper for a 4 day stay, doggie daycare and grooming. Let just say this, I dont think we've ever picked him up after an extended stay any happier than he was this time. We will trust them to care for our fur baby anytime. Thank you team Northwest Kennels.
My dogs have been going here for years and absolutely love it. They get extra interaction with people and dogs all day, which has helped with their socialization. They come home exhausted, which is amazing for preventing destructive behavior and boredom at home. The difference since they started going is massive. The staff is super friendly and good with the dogs. I've never had any issues, and the payment and booking system is easy. Highly recommend!!!
Our Daisy girl loves this place! We travel internationally quite a bit and they always update us with photos of our baby and are quick to reply whenever we ask them how she’s doing. The staff also has a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and temperament and ensure all the pups at the daycare are happy and safe. They are also very straight forward with pricing and have great, friendly customer service. We are picky with our pets and are super thankful we found this spot!
Rachel does a wonderful job our standard poodle. We constantly get compliments on his various styles.
We take our two Aussies here every four weeks for grooming and I can't express my gratitude enough. They've been getting groomed every month since they were 8 weeks old and always loved our groomer back in Wisconsin and never had any fear. However when we moved to Washington we took them to a groomer that came "highly rated" and after only a few grooming sessions my little boy would do everything to stay in the car and not get groomed. He would be shaking and terrified and curl up in the corner of the vehicle. I don't know what that other groomer did to him to make him like that, but after going to Northwest K9 just once he's no longer afraid and hops right out to get groomed again. They do a great job every time with their grooming and the dogs love going in again. Thank you guys so much!
We just had our Akita Suki groomed by Stephanie at NW K9 Inn & Spa and was very happy. Suki has always been a tough dog to groom, especially mail clipping. We have had two groomers and one vet office not able to groom her - until Stephanie. She was able to gain Suki’s confidence easily. Upon dropping Suki off, Stephanie was thorough with questions to better understand not only our hopes but to gain an understanding of Suki. One question was how she does with a dryer and I indicated we have never been able to use a dryer. To our surprise Suki tolerated the dryer to being almost dry. This was a total break through. We also boarded Suki for 1-night a month ago with good results. The staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The prices for services are reasonable. I highly recommend NW K9 Inn & Spa.
The reason I bring my dog to Northwest K-9 Inn and Spa are a number of reasons- dog lovers work there, my dog genuinely loves going there, and the customer service is great. There is one more reason, and that was reinforced yesterday when I picked up my dog. The very nice person who released my dog to me asked me is it was alright if she had clipped his nails. I said "great". It's this personalized care that I really like. Thank you very much.
We've taken one of our dogs here many times for grooming. She's a German Shepherd with a thick undercoat. Not only does she look great when she is done, she seems to genuinely enjoy her time there. We took our other dog here for the first time too recently. She's small and generally terrified of new experiences, but seemed comfortable from the moment we dropped her off. Both dogs came home looking and feeling great! We will definitely be taking both of them back!
My pup, Luigi, has been attending Furever for a few months now and I have never seen him happier. He comes home smiling, tired, and cuddly. I swore if he could talk, he’d go on non-stop about his friends. His newfound energy and overall joy by itself is worth the 5 stars. We go 2-3 times a week now. We went to a previous daycare for 3 years and got priced out, but he never came home as elated as he does now. I’ve read the other reviews about the flat affect of owner/main person…she strikes me as someone who prefers dogs over people and, frankly, that’s exactly who I want watching my kid when I have to be at work all day. Also, can’t say that I blame her haha We are deeply grateful to have found a place that’s safe, organized, and fairly priced. Love the adorable storefront with treats, too. We will keep going for as long as we can!
We have been using Forever Friends as our primary daycare since 2018 when we got Napoleon, our Frenchie. We now have a new pup, and she loves going as well! We are very pleased with the supervision and the companionship that this daycare provides for our dogs. Both dogs exhibit really happy body language both coming and going from their time at Furever Friends. They show interest in the staff as well. I know Theresa and Jenna both genuinely care about and love our dogs. I appreciate the transparency Theresa offers as she is willing to answer our questions, tell us about how our dogs are doing, and note any problem behaviors or other things she has noticed. Having two Frenchies with skin issues, she often pointed out when she would notice excessive itching, licking, vomiting, not-so-solid poops, etc (Issues we also saw at home and we're trying to problem solve). She can be assertive when expressing her opinion on dog foods and making recommendations but she is only trying to help. I can happily say that after 3 years we have finally found the right food for our pups. Furever Friends Daycare is stellar, with well-trained staff members who are attuned to socializing dogs and creating an environment that’s as nurturing as it is fun. - Valerie, Mitch, Napoleon, and Penelope
My dog attended Furever Friends daycare daily for about seven months. She was well taken care of and always got excited about going to Furever Friends. Jenna is very professional and always answered my questions. Her daycare is very clean and the dogs are consistently let out for a potty break. My dog is only fifteen pounds and I was concerned about her safety being around large dogs, but she never got hurt. The dogs are well supervised. Thank you, Jenna and staff!
My dog Izzy has a great time when she attends daycare here! The staff members are very knowledgeable and considerate of what is best for each dog individually and that is invaluable to me.
This is the best daycare in the area. First, their operational policies are super convenient and the fact that you don’t have to have an appointment makes it always reliable in a pinch. Plus the owner and staff absolutely love dogs, and often give you tips for ways to help your own dog. If they notice something, they mention it. We have been taking two dogs here for years, and they always love getting out on of the car to run inside. The owners do a trial to make sure your dog will be a good fit with the rest of the group. If a dog isn’t a good fit, they let people know upfront so they can find other options. That may not sit well for some people, but it ensures the rest of their dogs have a good experience and our allowed to play and enjoy their day. Simply put, they’re awesome and have made our lives much easier!
We have been taking our 2 dogs here for the last 4 years on a regular basis. They’re always amazingly taken care for and our dogs just absolutely can’t wait to get out of the car when we pull into the parking lot. Owner and staff are extremely knowledgeable.
Our dog (Sunka) loves going to FurEver friends. She is always so excited to go and play with her friends. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff is. We are so grateful to have found furever friends
Our 1 year old female French Bulldog puppy attended this daycare for a few weeks. Upon arrival I was always told she was a "menace" and had "too much energy" even though her behavior was appropriate for her puppy age. They reassured us that she needed to continue coming to help her socialize. We continued to bring her. We were notifed that our puppy plays rough with another younger 6 month old male French Bulldog. We had been told on a few occasions that they are very rough and he tends to be aggressive with other dogs. They reassured us by saying they separate our girl from the 6 month old frenchie when they get rough. We were ensured of our puppy's safety. So fast forward a week or so later, I called around 12pm to check in on our puppy. The staff had mentioned that she was in a "scuffle" but she was okay. I continued on with my day as they told me she was okay. Upon arrival around 5:30pm, I was greeted and shown a golf ball sized fluid filled lump on my puppy's neck. I was told it was fine and to put a warm compress on it as well as the dogs name who bit her. We immediately went to the animal er and the vet was extremely concerned due to signs of infection starting so quickly. She was given a lot of meds. The next day I called in to inform staff of the er visit as well as follow up on what the next steps would be for our puppy. The staff Jenna or Jen stated she didn't see our puppy get bit and she will not be comfortable saying who did it. She went on to say that the injury was a result of our puppy playing with another puppy. Due to the nature of the injury being a puncture wound we knew it was not a playful accident. Since the attack my husband and I have both had conversations with Jen regarding what happen. She continues to give us excuses and will not let us know who did it. My biggest issue is the fact that our puppies best interest, health, and safety was not thought about. I am completely infuriated that I was not told immediately OR when I called that day that our puppy was bitten and had a puncture wound to her neck, had I been told I would have picked her up immediately. I understand accidents happen but the way this was handled was completely inappropriate. We and the vet are extremely upset that our puppy had been left with a puncture wound in her neck for hours only for it to get infected and require immediate medical attention. It has been a few weeks since the incident and our puppy will have a lifelong scar. Unfortunately I am unable to post any photos but feel free to message me to see them. I just ask that you please keep an eye on your babies if they attend this daycare.
I needed a place to take my pup at the last minute when I was sick and picked this place because of it's size. I arrived before the 730 cut off and took my pup inside. A woman came out and took my pups leash without a word and started to head into the back, then she stopped and said, "Wait, is she new?" I was taken aback because I had expected a more welcoming first time. Introductions, potential dog questions, saying hi to the puppy, basic politeness. There was none of that. I said "yes" and she pulled my pup along to a desk to take out a form, slapped it on the counter and told me to fill it out and bring it back. (I had already completed this form online.) She then took my dog into the back. I was shocked and disappointed by the bruskness of her manner, she didn't introduce herself or ask me who I was, she just pulled my dog into the back. It was very unusual and I got a bad feeling. Since this was my first time, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe someone had been rude, maybe she is just better with pups than people. Things happen and I get it, we are not all 100%, all the time. Fast forward to pickup time. I walked in and while I was waiting for them to notice me, I looked around to see if I could see my pup through the windows. I didn't see her, but I did see a large pup in a kennel in an empty office. I wondered how long it had been there and what it had done to be put there. (I have had experience with other places. When others do "time out" , they take the pup and spend some 1 on 1 time with them in a small separate area to correct behavior and help them calm down. I have never seen a dog left alone, locked in a kennel with no one nearby.) The same woman brought out my puppy and I immediately knew something was wrong. On the rare occasion I have to take my puppy to daycare, she is excited, wagging her tail and happy to see me when I come to get her. But this time, when the lady brought my pup out, she was scared and withdrawn. I was worried for her and started checking her, thinking she'd been hurt. (She wasn't physically hurt as far as I could tell.) The lady asked if I had a card on file. I did, and realized that's where she was going to leave it. So I asked her her name, it was Jenna, and I told her my name. I then asked her how my puppy had done, since I realized she hadn't planned to give me any feedback. I also hoped I could get some insight on why my puppy was suddenly acting afraid. She said, "You need to train her not to run." She added, "the other dogs chase her when she runs and we don't allow running here." I was surprised because the whole reason I picked this daycare is because they boast such a large play area on their website for the pups to "chase" toys and get "exercise". I thought of the pup in the kennel and wondered what they had done to make my pup not run. I asked if there was anything else and she said, yes, "she's too rough with smaller dogs". This is valid as my puppy is 18 weeks old and still learning boundaries, so I understand the criticism. At her usual daycare, they exercise "gentle restraint", which is using a hand or holding them to separate pups for a few seconds. This has worked beautifully and my pup responds well to that. I wondered what they practiced here for my pup to be acting the way she was. After I got her home, she didn't recover her personality for quite a while. I cancelled the appointment for the following day. Between the unfriendly nature of Jenna, and my pups personality change I didn't feel comfortable ever bringing my pup here again. When asked (on the website) the reason for my cancellation, I simply put I didn't think my pup was a good fit. The portal then told me I would get an email confirmation of cancellation. I didn't receive it. I logged in to see if it had been cancelled and found my account with my pet info and records had been erased. Good thing I didn't change my mind. I gave my pup extra cuddles and attention last night and I'm pleased to say she is mostly back to her old self now.
I got a new puppy a few months back and didn't realize how much attention she needed. It was hard leaving her alone because it was traumatic. The staff at Fur-Ever Friends gave Harper a ton of love and even sent her home with a jacket on the first day. They got my shy little baby playing, running and getting worn out with the other dogs. The staff are very nice and experienced. I feel fortunate that this place is available and am happy to take Harper as often as I can.
Khari is our go-to when we need boarding for our husky Mikka! She takes such great care of the dogs, and always sends us updates while we're away. I love knowing that Mikka will have other dogs to play with be getting attention and care when I drop her off. It's a little bit of a drive for us from Bellingham but SO worth it. When we drop Mikka off, she runs right up to the door like it's her second home :) 10/10, highly recommend!
When we go on vacation, we only send our aussie mountain doodle to Khari. She provides board and train and there is the option to pick up a freshly bathed doggo! Even though we live in Seattle, we have driven out of our way to drop our dog off in Ferndale to stay with Khari.
It is an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to write a OUTSTANDING review for Khari (owner) and her business. We are thankful to have a caring, inviting and safe place for our dogs while we are out of town. Unlike traditional boarding options for dogs, Khari invites her 4 legged friends as extended members of her family. With plenty of exercise, socialization and love 💕, our dogs always come back to us as happy as when we left them with Khari and her family. Her ethos with reference to her dog care ensures that there will be the least amount of stress induced to our dogs while we have them under Khari’s care. This is evident with their happy and eager demeanor both at drop off as well as pick up! We know that our dogs are well cared for while we are out of town, and for that we are forever thankful to Khari and her business, Four the Luv of Dogs!!!!
I highly recommend Four the Luv of Dogs! This is the best choice for daycare and boarding for a home away from home experience. Khari is trustworthy, reliable, and excellent with dogs. When I drop my pup off with Khari I know she is well taken care of and is having the best time. She is always excited to come back!
My dog loves coming here! It’s nice to know that whenever I need to leave, he gets to go on his own little dog vacation. Khari is great, and you can tell that she does a good job watching the dogs, because my dog is much better behaved now than before I started bringing him here.
My two dogs get so excited going to spend the day at Four the Luv of Dogs! Khari showers my dogs with attention while holding them accountable to use their manners. They have acreage that is fenced in that provides a safe place for my dogs to run and play. Khari is very knowledgeable about dogs and how to work with them. After I pick up my dogs from Khari, they are happy, relaxed and content which makes for a relaxing evening for me.
My dogs spent a week with Khari and her family this summer and they were very happy when we picked them up! Things I love about Khari's service and business are her knowledge of dogs, her flexibility and attention to detail with each animal, that her whole family loves and attends to the dogs and the acreage available for dogs to run in! Highly recommend if you want your dogs happy and in safe hands.
I boarded my Australian Shepherd puppy for two weeks at Four the Luv of Dogs and he had a blast! He even came home with much better behavior in a couple of areas that I'd ignored. Khari watches the dogs' interactions, and her yard is fully fenced, so I was completely confident that my puppy was safe and in good hands! I 100% recommend her dog boarding and will use her services again.
Khari watched my dog for 17 days and I couldn't be happier. Teddy came back more well behaved than when we dropped him off! Our dog gets matted very easily and Khari was willing to brush him and bathe him if needed which I really appreciated. The 5 acre property is wonderful, and safe for even small dogs like mine (13 lbs). I love that this is more like a "home" feel versus boarding. I will use Khari for my boarding and training needs from now on.
Khari is an amazing doggie person! She is so patient and loving. Treats them as her own dog. A beautiful place for your dog to call their home away from home! You can rest easy knowing they are in good hands…
Dakota had her first stay-over at Upscale Puppy. When we picked her up she was not in a rush to leave, she was happy and relaxed. Kelly, Bill and staff are great. I can’t say enough about how pleased i am to have them as Dakota’s home away from home!! Great to know she is well cared for when we are away. Thank you Bill and Kelly!!
Kelly did amazing caring for my dog for a week while I took a flight to see family. Shealso clipped my dogs nails and my dog seemed so happy and excited of her stay when we got back home. I highly recommend Kelly's services
Lupita's the best—she cares deeply for each and every dog in her care. Our little Sheltie Prince looks forward to seeing her and his dog friends every day he goes there. I highly recommend Lupita's Upscale Puppy!
We feel so incredibly lucky to have our mini schnauzer come to Kelly and Bill on a regular basis. They absolutely love all the dogs in their care and it really shows. Our pup is always super jazzed to arrive and truly "dog tired" when he comes home in the afternoon. We have used their services for doggie day care and boarding and our dog is always super excited to go back. Truly the best care we have ever found for our canine member of the family.
I have taken my dog Chewy to Lupita and now Kelly, they are amazing and have done a great job watching him. He is excited when I drop him off, and runs straight in to see the other dogs. The prices are reasonable and never had an issue getting Chewy in as long as I have given plenty of notice. I highly recommend Kelly’s Upscale Puppy.
Lupita and her husband are remarkable dog lovers. My dog and my sister's dog have never been left at a kennel so I researched and found Upscale Puppy. What a relief, no cages just able to live in the house and have freedom in a large fenced outdoor area. Our dogs are 1-1/2 and 2 years old and this enabled them to socialize with other dogs. When vacation was over and we picked up our dogs they were brushed and ready to go.I could tell they had been having fun as Lupita sent us photos while we were gone which eased our minds considerably. We will start taking the dogs for daycare so they will continue to socialize and have some great playtime. Truly an awesome place!
I have full confidence in Lupita taking care of my dog. When I went on an extended trip to Europe my dog needed energy vet care due to stones in her bladder. Lupita rushed her to the vets and nursed her till I could get back. Great care.
Fantastic grooming of our Lakeland Terrier! What a treat for all of us! Kelly did an incredible job!! So pleased. Will utilize her services again and again!
There are really no words to describe how we feel about Lupita, Ken, and Sandra. Our puppies ( well not really PUPPIES any more) but we still call them puppies, are sooooo excited to go there. Every Wednesday morning, they somehow seem to know that THIS IS THE DAY ! I guess they have their doggie watches on ! They wake up super early and are raring to go . When my husband even turns into Lupita's driveway, even though they are secured in the back seat, they go ballistic and act like the truck is on fire, cannot wait to get out ! They drag him to the door and race out yo the back yard to see their friends ! When we arrive to pick them up at 4:30- 5:00, they are anxious to get back in the truck, sleep all the way home, eat their dinner, then sleep til 10pm (potty time) Then they go straight to bed and don't wake up for 12 hours or more. Great workout and VERY happy puppies ! We LOVE taking our puppies to Lupita, love her, Ken, and Sandra. I won't ever take them anywhere else ! Thank you Lupita !
Kelly was great. She was professional and friendly. She made time for us in her busy schedule. She did exactly what was needed . Most importantly, my puppy loved her.
Had the pups nails done, quick and good enough considering the pup is not cooperative. The place is a bit stinky but I guess it would be hard not to be 🤷🏻♀️ I haven’t been to many groomers. I’ll be back! …
I just picked up my two Springer Spaniels and I am really happy with what a great job Pooch Palace did! I usually groom them myself and I can be a bit nit picky. There are no shaver lines and their paws were trimmed up really nicely. I am starting a new career and will definitely bring them back to save myself the hassle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This place is a gem. I love the homey feel our dogs have. Our big shepherd likes to hang out with the Littles. The staff is friendly and amazing with our dogs.
You can really trust this place. Heather and her staff are definitely pet lovers! As well as insuring that your fur baby is safe and happy they can deal with other issues like medical care, anxiety, old age. I know my pets are in good hands always.
Took our shaggy Boi in for his annual cut and couldn't be happier. They did exactly what we wanted, and his paw-de-cure makes him stealth again. Thanks a bunch
This place has been a godsend, Heather is so kind, patient, and passionate about animals, you could just tell by meeting her. I'm usually a bit skeptical when it comes to someone else caring for my dogs but I'm not worried when it comes to bringing my dogs to the Pooch Palace! They have a great time and we're happy they have a fun, safe environment. 10/10 would recommend and it's been my 3rd time using the dog boarding service and definitely not the last. Thank you again, Heather and team!
Specifically asked you not to touch our dog's tail hair. Especially the amazingly cool white tip. You indeed did not touch any of the other tail hair with the exception of chopping off the amazingly cool white tip after we asked you not to. I was able to overlook the bowl cut you gave him but you just had to cut off that tail hair didn't you. We will never be back. Pooch Palace, I think not more like pooch poor house.
Left our black lab and German shepherd pups here for 9 days. They came back washed, groomed, and toenails clipped. Wasn't even expecting that! Plus the prices are unbeatable. They also offer a military discount! Thank you pooch palace! We are definitely return customers!
This place is a gem! My two dogs and two cats recently stayed with them for almost three weeks, and they took very good care of them. Highly recommend
This was my first time taking my elder cocker spaniels to Pooch Palace. The gals were really nice and attentive to the things I shared about my dogs, giving them a little background on each of them. They let me know how much it would cost, and I found them to be very thorough. I did think they were a bit more expensive then some other places, but the professionalism and cut was definitely top notch and completely worth it. I am very happy, and my pups look cuter then buttons! I would totally recommend. Thank you 😊 Update...from the first groom to the 3rd groom, I went from 65 a dog to 90 per dog!!! My dogs are cockers...I wondered why and just figured they priced me right outta there. Too bad, nice folks there. I drop my stars, am dissappointed☹
Becca and her team at Furrwoods are incredible. Our dog, Bodi, is super high energy and loves to play, play, play non-stop. They always match him with other high-energy dogs and he has made some wonderful doggy-friendships over the last year and a half. He enjoys daycare so much and has been boarded there for over a week at a time and he always comes home tired, happy, and safe/healthy. Having a safe, clean, and enriching place for our dog means a ton to us. Thanks SO MUCH to Becca and staff for loving on Bodi.
Our two Boston Terriers stayed at FurrWoods for a full week and they did so well and got lots of playtime they were happy and exhausted when we got them home! The place is absolutely spotless and so clean it’s amazing! Caring professional staff as well!
We were so thankful to have found FurrWoods Kennels! We recently adopted a dog from Whatcom Humane Society. Oscar is partially blind and very reactive, as he was never socialized as a puppy. It was critical to find a kennel that was a good fit for him. We had been using another boarding facility for the past ten years and had been pretty happy with them for most of that time. Due to a detour, I happened to drive by FurrWoods and saw their sign. So, we scheduled a time to take a tour. Oscar was reactive to the owner and staff and was barking and lunging at them. They knew exactly how to greet him and put him at ease. Within minutes, he was comfortable and leaning in for ear scratches. We took Oscar out to the play yards and put him in one by himself. He immediately went to the fence and happily greeted the other pups in the adjacent yard. The play yards here are repurposed astroturf from a football field, and the surface is immaculate. The previous boarding facility has gravel yards and our previous dog would sometimes eat rocks there or be dirty from digging. There are 3 or 4 different yards so they can group dogs by size or demeanor or age to ensure everyone has a positive playtime. The kennels are also very clean! There are only 28 kennels so it is much more peaceful than at a larger facility. They provide trampoline beds and even have slow feeders if you need them, which Oscar does. They have an online reservation system which helps me keep track of my bookings. You can also sign your dog up for an activity such as individual fetch time or a walk in the woods. We have boarded Oscar at FurrWoods several times over the past few months - sometimes just overnight and for as long as two weeks. He LOVES it there!! When we arrive, he pulls me to the door and wants to go straight out to play! This speaks volumes, as Oscar normally has separation anxiety!! When I pick him up, he is clean, happy, and exhausted. Thank you thank you thank you to Rebecca and her staff for welcoming Oscar into your kennel and your hearts!!
We can’t say enough about how wonderful Furrwood is. We leave our Luc there and know that he will have a fabulous time playing with his friends and be well loved and cared for while he is there.
We scoured the entire county for the right fit for our basset hound puppy, and Furrwoods rose to the occasion. He has specific needs and Becca has accommodated every one of them without question. This is the cleanest facility that we toured. The astroturf is much better for his skin and toes (they get yeasty, but not here). When we pick him up he usually greets us then turns right around to go back in. He definitely keeps the staff on their toes and I'm very grateful for their hard work.
Such an amazing place for my dogs. Extremely clean and organized. The staff is very professional and helpful. I always feel they make my dogs needs a priority. I would highly recommend bringing your dogs here for doggy daycare or an overnight stay.
Our dog Tanto went to Furrwoods for almost two years (we have now moved out of the area) and we could not have been more comfortable and happy with the care he received! Rebecca and her staff do a great job making sure your dog is loved and having a ball. Tanto always left Furrwoods happy and exhausted from a full day of fun. Cannot recommend enough!
My dog is always so excited when we arrive at the facility and so tired when I pick him up. The staff are very personable and seem to love my dog. They usually give me a report on how he did as well. They have cameras and an indoor/outdoor play area.
I've lived in many places and have used many kennels. I've never found a boarding facility that is as great as FurrWoods! They are kind, and accommodating, and take excellent care of our dogs. I will forever use FurrWoods and recommend them to everyone.
This is the nicest kennel in the county. I truly appreciate Becca and her staff. It is so great that we can leave town knowing our dogs will be well taken care of and have fun with the other pups there.
