We booked Joanne and Rick in January. We had a great interview and booked them at that time. I kept in touch through the next couple of months. Joanne was very responsive and a great communicator. When they showed up at the scheduled time, we hit it off right away. Indy was very 'taken' with Joanne and I knew it was going to be fine. I asked for a picture or two each day. They took Indy on hikes almost everyday and I got great photos of him and the beautiful scenery. The house was just as I left it, neat and tidy. It was a pleasure to have them stay in our house. I felt that it was going to be a good sit and it was. I would definitely recommend Joanne and Rick and would have them back any time.

We were very lucky & thrilled to be able to welcome back Jim & Lana to look after our three boys and the house for a second time and for our longest trip away so far (5 weeks). It is a real pleasure when away for such an extended period (for us at least) to have the comfort of knowing the boys are happy and the house cared for. Even better to come home to chilled doggies & a clean house. Jim & Lana are great communicators, very experienced with property & pets and lovely people, who again made us feel at ease and definitely bonded with our boys. No surprise at all that they have so many fantastic reviews on top of ours and we absolutely recommend them, while also hoping that our future vacation plans and their commitments coincide again and we can welcome them back. Claire and Rosemary were perfect! Given that I had had a very bad experience with housesitters a month before their sit, I was more apprehensive than I've been. But from our initial interview I knew they would be great. I feel badly that I left the house in the handover in slight disorder, with the festive season and packing to go abroad as well as cleaning up from the privious housesitters who did a lot of damage, I wasn't able to handover to Claire and Rosemary the way I would normally do so, with a full guide and instructions written out, a spotless house etc. But with all of that and given the sit wasn't very long, Claire and Rosemary did incredibly well! I managed to run through everything the morning I left with them in person, they were communicative and helpful, gave me regular updates and left the place clean and the animals well cared for. I felt relieved when I got back, it was a very nice feeling. I highly recommend them, I'm sorry we didn't get more time to chat and get to know each other, the fesitve season was particularly chaotic this year. I would gladly have them back if they were available!

I think Brooke took good care of Kylie … from the pictures, Kylie looked comfortable and attached. Brooke communicated but also arrived later than expected and left earlier than expected. Significant oil spilled from her car in front of our home and the neighbors.

My dog Teddy loved being with Theresa. She was organized, self-sufficient, and very personable. Even though she does online Yoga via Zoom 4 days a week, she took plenty of time to throw Teddy his beloved balls, snuggle and go on walks. She sent me updates and pictures. Teddy and I would definitely love to have Theresa come visit again.

Pet loving couple eager to care for your fur babies while you're gone
This was only our second sit so we are still figuring out how things work. We reached out to Suzanne and Jim about sitting after other applicants had declined for various reasons. We also recruited our first sitter last year. They were positive and willing to make the long trip west to us and interested in exploring the area. Lola was well cared for during their stay which was the most important thing. As in other reviews, some cleaning tasks did not get completed.

Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. And when we got home, the house looked great, and the dogs looked calm. We would gladly have them. Sit for us again and highly recommend them.

Rebecca was amazing! She is a kind and clear communicator, took loving care of our pets, and left the house in perfect tidy shape. My husband commented, "You can't even tell she was here!" :-) Her calm demeanor, intelligence, humor, and common sense experience as a pet owner made her the ideal sitter for our 7 pets of varying species, ages, personalities, and needs. She managed the pet routine like a pro—including diapers and daily meds for our older dog—and cared for all of our pets as if they were her own. Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! We truly think of her as part of our family now and all 5 of our pups would agree!

Not only did our pets enjoy meeting Kelly and Christopher, my husband and I enjoyed meeting them as well! They are personable and kind, organized and communicative, and most of all excellent pet sitters. Kelly and Chris are attentive housesitters. They went out of their way to connect with our dogs, especially Smitty, our rescue. The dogs were walked, brushed, and played with throughout the weeklong sit. They sent pics of how our fur babies were doing and truly seemed to enjoy their time with them. Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. She will be a great sitter for others and is looking to travel across and see more of the US while remote working. We have adopted her into our family and she is welcome in our home anytime. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands. She sent photos and video every day, which delighted us, confident that they were getting next level care.
