She came a day early to meet our pup, Poppy, and so we could walk her through the house and get to know her a bit. She was such a pleasure to meet and it was very apparent that she loves animals. Poppy absolutely loved her, and we loved all the updates Jan sent us! Plus photos! Jan left our house in immaculate condition and even washed and folded the sheets! We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Leslie and Kyle set the bar for all other pet sitters! On the first morning of their stay my cat got out due to a faulty window in my apartment and they handled the situation so well. Leslie sent a text explaining what happened and that my cat had returned safely and she was so calm about the whole thing that it put me at ease for the rest of my trip. Kyle went above and beyond and not only fixed the window screen (he actually fixed two screens during their stay!) but also made sure the window was secure until maintenance could come and fix the issue. Their go with the flow attitude was amazing. I would 100% have them sit for me again! I can not recommend them enough. You would be lucky to have Leslie and Kyle as your sitters :)

Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.

Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

Geri took care of our hamster "Cuddles" while we were gone for 3 weeks. She went above and beyond to make sure not only he was taken care of, but our house was well looked after as well. My dog, Ace, and I love Geri at PrAWper Pet Care!! She is exactly who you’d want to watch your pet- for a short or long visit- we’ve done both. Besides being a very nice person she is very serious at what she does. Her house is totally set up to watch or keep your pet for any length of time. She cleans inside and outside of her home before and after every pet comes and goes. She is amazing. No one outside of our family has ever taken care of any of our pets. My husband and adult children haven’t taken a vacation together in 15 years. I just happened to see a post on NextDoor and I immediately messaged her, we met a few days later, and I even moved the dates of our 4 day trip so she would be free to watch our little pup. She also watched Ace for a day so we could go to our family reunion and not worry about our small, 12 year old pup being home alone. My big boy Bengal, Dezi had a great time here. The facility was very nice and clean too. He got his own two room suite! The staff made him feel safe and loved and he wasn’t stressed when I picked him up. This was his first time away from home and I wasn’t sure how it would go. He will be coming back to visit again.
I have used Best Friends since 2002. All of my dogs have done great and I had a dog with some “issues” and she was handled well. There were never any problems after their visit at the “spa” as we referred to it. My two small dogs just returned from their spa visit and Max was on medication and he did great and our Gracie was happy too. Highly recommend!! 🐾🐾

We brought our Golden, Lola, here for the first time for a full grooming experience. She is terrified of loud noises--the girl who met us at check-in was extremely gentle with our dog, calming, and got her to settle down. We knew immediately that Lola was in good hands. They brought Lola out looking better than she ever has at any other grooming appointment--complete with a fresh bandana and bow. We loved our experience here!

I am so thankful to Vickie at BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! I am the kind of dog mom that puts my 2 boys Doug and Rusty (dachshunds) above myself. I set my house up so that THEY are happy and comfortable. I have a low bed,, doggie ramps everywhere and there are dog toys all over. I would say that they are a little spoiled ❤️🐾🐾❤️ I only trust a few people with my dogs. I recently moved to Fair Oaks. I searched online for pet sitting and called Vicky, the owner of Bow-Wow pet sitting and boarding. I asked many questions. I then looked at her reviews on Yelp and decided that I would give her a call back. She was able to take my dogs the next day. She was so great! My dogs were barking and have separation anxiety. I immediately felt comfortable with Vicky. She is very kind and obviously loves animals. Her house is set up perfectly - she can separate dogs if necessary but still see them, they are not locked away in a closed room. She had a big wonderful yard to play in. When I picked up my boys they were happy and not stressed. Now they WANT to go there! Even though I'm done moving I intend to to take them to Vicky's at least once a week because they love her and I don't take them in the car and leave them when running errands. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VICKIE AND BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! She is reasonably priced and very accommodating. ******************!!!!💕
I am appalled at the neglect and inhumane treatment of my dog. We left my dog Roxxy there for the weekend over 4th of July. We made sure they were aware she was a rescue dog with anxiety, and we were guaranteed that our dog would not be left alone during the fireworks. After we got our dog home, that night we realized her mouth was severally injured. Apparently, she had been left outside in a metal crate during fireworks while the owners of Bow Pow Pet sitting went to the liquor store, and tried to chew her way out causing the damage to her mouth. Multiple teeth had been broken off, her gums were destroyed and she had literally chewed so long and hard the bone of her jaw was damaged. We were never notified that our dog had been injured under their care, we had to wait to find out when we got her back, and with the extent of the injury being as bad as it was I have a hard time believing there were no signs of blood or injury when it happened. The surgery to fix my dog's mouth was over $3,500, which Bow Wow Pet sitting never even tried to repay. I felt the owners of Bow Wow pet sitting were unprofessional and down right negligent to have let this happen. To top it all off, after multiple complaints from us they still have pictures of my dog on their website, against my approval, to advertise their business. Usually I am not one to write angry online reviews but I feel strongly that they were negligent towards my dog.
My dogs were well taken care of in a family style environment. Both had individual needs and their needs were well taken care of. Was so pleased with the great care both dogs received! Recommend!

Took our Golden to the splash pad night. They had the nicest facility!! So much room for the dogs to run around in, very clean and no broken toys/furniture. My golden had so much fun and I will definitely be signing her up for a day care session.
Great place to take your dog for day care or swim fun. I've taken my bullmastiff to day care and open swim. She lived both and came home tired and happy. Bit expensive buy you're paying for good care of your dog. I really appreciate that they screen your pet and have separation of different temperaments. Open swim in wknds is great and pretty cheap at $10 per dog. I highly recommend and will be back often. They have boarding service too, but I've never used it.
We rented the pool with some dog park friends and had a blast. The staff are very friendly and the pool was ready to have our pack of dogs rage. Some seating provided, bring a towel for yourself and wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked because the dogs will shake all over you!

I took my dog, Huffy, to the Animal Den for their open swim. She had a blast! All the doggies loved the pool and I got to enjoy some wine while she played. It was a win all around! My only gripe is the admission fee is $10. The fee is reasonable but it does keep us from going as frequently as we would like!
My dog has been going here for daycare 4 days a week for the last year and is so happy and excited whenever we arrive. Previous places we went for daycare I could see him on camera just sitting by the gate wanting to leave, and he was never eager to walk through the door. I think the staff here have gotten to know him and what makes him happy to be there so he feels much more comfortable. They also do cute holiday activities and dogs of the week which are adorable extra touches. Overall it’s been a great experience!
Such nice and caring individuals! They can accommodate almost anything! Very patient and compassionate for not only the fur babies but the fur parents as well! As for my Meeko he is having the time of his life for his first time. He is literally smiling. Great decision to board him here. I would high recommend this place!

Today I picked up my Sam and he was smelling good and was ready for his pup whip cup… from the looks of it since he was being such a good boy Auntie Chelle’s Pet Care treated Sam to an early birthday gift before sending him home and his whip was all over his face and since the one I bought was in the car it was double trouble thank you for having the big heart that you do for our pets and caring for Sam when I’m away on business I really appreciate it. Where do I begin….? I never had a dog before and at the start of this year I made the choice to add to my family a GSD. I wanted to do everything for my fur baby but had no clue where to start. I was scouring the internet for resources and ‘what to do ….’ type information which quickly became overwhelming. I was ultimately searching for a place where my pup would be able to get socializing time while I am at work; a place to be safe and play with other pups/dogs. To my surprise Lachelle offered that and much more!!!! Such as plenty of information, suggestions, unique approaches to training, exposure with children/kitties/adults and always communicates about progress (daily updates). She has provided more than just a day care but peace of mind!! I can easily tell she is the whole deal because of two things - that auntie family like feel/trust and how excited my pup always is to meet her and her family! If your looking for a place for your fur baby where they are given plenty of play time / attention and structure then Auntie Chelle is your place! My favorite things are the daily reports she provides (its the cutest and informative), if she notices anything she will always make me aware and the pictures/videos she send me which (always) cheers me up! -Thank you Lachelle for everything-

Cheryl is wonderful with our dog Bentley. We get daily reports with pictures. We think he has more fun at her house than ours with all the other dogs he gets to play with. We love knowing he's in good hands and isn't stressed out at a kennel. And Jesse is lovely with our kitten. We come home and our kitten is happy, the litter boxes are clean, the mail has been brought in, and the plants have been watered. And we know someone has been keeping a daily eye on our home. Great peace of mind!
We’ve used this company’s service several times now. All the sitters have been super. We’ve had someone do checks on our kitten, play and feed her. Another time we had someone stay overnight with our puppy and kitten. And another time private boarded our puppy at a sitter’s home. Every time we came back to happy, well cared for pets. All the sitters were respectful and responsible. Great peace-of-mind. We will definitely continue to use them.
Happy Tails Pet Sitting and Tamara gave me peace of mind that my 3-month old puppy would be well taken care. He was fed, played with and loved. Soiled bedding thrown in the washer. I received photos of him playing and an update with each visit. No doubt Happy Tails will be called on in the future.......
This was my first time using Happy Tails. Lindsay was my live in pet/house sitter. My cat is very shy but took to Lindsay immediately. Lindsay sent me updates and photos while I was gone so I had total peace of mind. I also came home to a very clean house. I will definitely use them again!
I took my puppies over there for the first time and they loved it! Tamara was very sweet and caring with them. The place allows them to play, sleep and be around other dogs (socialize) in a safe manner. It's convenient, and it's affordable.
Amazing place!! The facility is great, in the heat of the summer to have an air conditioned space for chows is a must. Tamara was beyond helpful. This was the third place I tried as I was having surgery and, I NEVER board my dogs so it was getting stressful. I had to leave them for a day and I immediately knew I’d found the spot just because I was having trouble getting them into the yard (because of my hip) and one of them slipped out of his collar and got away. Tamaras husband jumped in without hesitation and helped me round him up. Most places I know aren’t even comfortable with having them so to see him react immediately without a hint of apprehension was reassuring. As it turned out, a friend came up to stay with me for recovery so they were able to stay home this time. I’ll be having to go in again next year so I’ll definitely be taking them back!!
We are so happy that we picked Happy Tail Pet Sitting. Tamara and Jerry are really good and reliable on taking care of our Blu. Its so cool that Tamara updated us with pictures of our dog Blu. We can tell that our dog enjoyed his stay with them and he even gave them a thank you kiss💋 as we were leaving...
Our experience with Jessie has been amazing. It’s so nice to leave when you know your dog is in such good hands. She is reliable and always keeps me updated on how my dog is doing. We appreciate her care very much.
Great people and very responsive. We had to head out of town on short notice, but they were flexible in finding us a good fit for our two pups for pet sitting. One of our labs can be a pain and the Happy Tails Petsitting crew was patient and understanding. Great experience with them!

We are new dog owners of two chihuahuas , we adopted from Bradshaw Animal Shelter. I called in the morning and thr gentleman owner got us in right away for an after noon appointment . Our dogs got a much need flee bath and we really appreciate it . First impressions are always important and we feel like Puppy Love Boarders is a professional establishment.God gave us our pets , to soften our hearts .
I was very impressed with Genaro’s work. From the moment he answered the phone to the time of grooming my puppy, he delivered incredible service. My 4-yo maltipoo can be a handful, he has never had the greatest experience with going to the groomers so I was hesitant to try a new one. This time however, was completely different from the other times I have tried a new groomer. My dog came back happy and with no knicks or wounds. I look forward bring my dog back as well as introducing my new puppy to his first grooming experience with Genaro.
After meeting the owner/groomer Genaro a few times around in the Rosemont area, I finally brought our dog Sami in for grooming. I couldn't be happier! Genaro did a great job, he is friendly and knowledgeable. I wanted to be sure he knew how much work it would be since our dog is a large male goldendoodle, but Genaro was helpful and showed me pictures of other similar large dogs he had groomed. He kept me updated during the grooming appointment and made sure I was happy with Sami's haircut when I picked him up. I will definitely bring Sami back for grooming with Puppy Love Boarders and Grooming. Check out this groomer in Rosemont and support a local business!
We had grooming done on our 15 year old Lhasa Apso mix, and Puppy Love Boarders did an excellent job. Our little one was groomed well and done within 2 hours or so! Thank you so much.
Owner Genaro groomed my 12 year old Pomeranian Bubbles today. Genaro took great care of Bubbles. I can just tell from his energy and the way he interacted with Bubbles that he is a very gentle, kind man who loves animals. I was hesitant at first because it’s a new business with little review. I just moved to the area so I was looking for a new groomer close to home. My dog can also be aggressive when it comes to grooming and has been sent home from another groomer before. I called @9am and Genaro was able to take Bubbles in the day of @12pm. I also asked if I could drop Bubbles off early @10:30am so I can run errands. He happily agreed which was a big green flag for me! He called me by 1:15pm that he had finished grooming Bubbles. My main priority with grooming is that Bubbles would be shown kindness since he is a senior dog and can be difficult. I asked Genaro to give Bubbles a trim around his body but to maintain most of the fur. I just wanted a clean look with a bath and toe nail trimming. I also emphasized that I wanted the fur around peepee poopoo areas cut away. Genaro did exactly all of this. It cost $65 for everything which I thought was a very just price! I made my next appointment already. Glad to find a groomer close to home I can trust my baby boy with! Give this new business ran by a good person a try!
Got a spa day for our 2 Frenchies done here the other day. Genaro was super welcoming and friendly, our dogs loved him. He accommodated every wish, and our pups came home smelling and feeling great! Would highly recommend, and we will be back.
I took my chihuahua terrier mix to get pampered and de mated. They did a fabulous job and I was pleased with their work. I highly recommend them.

A dog walker you can trust! Jenna is kind and very easy to communicate with. She takes my strong 80lb pitty twice a week for 30 minute walks. I absolutely trust my dog is safe with Jenna. Not only is my dog tuckered out after each walk but she VERY happy. The minute Jenna pulls up my dog gets crazy excited! I have two chorkies that love to see Jenna too. All three bonded with her right away. I am so grateful we found Jenna!

We are delighted to have found Jenna of Woof Professional Dog Walkers to board our dogs while on vacation. Donner and Shasta received daily walks, lots of attention, and apparently special treats since they weren’t very interested in the regular ones we provide once they got home. Jenna’s daily reports plus photos offered us immense relief in knowing our pets were in comfortable home-style surroundings and very caring hands.
I feel so comfortable knowing that my pets are in safe, capable and caring hands with WOOF! I’ve known Jenna over 15 years and she is absolutely trustworthy and amazing with our fur babies.

Paula, the owner/operator at Friendly Faces Pet Services, has been my petsitter, on and off, for 18 years! She dots all the i's and crosses the t's when it comes to taking care of your pets and your property while you're away. Definitely reasonable rates and trustworthy. The only time I've had to use another company was when I briefly moved out of her service area, but she was able to recommend another petsitter. They were great too, but I was glad when I moved back into her service area.
