Pet Sitting in Lairoux

Leah and her two little people, Lily and Arthur, are henceforth to be known as The Dream Team. We don’t go away often but when we do, we want Leah to come, but she’s usually fully booked - for months! Leah is very transparent, she’s brilliant with animals and ours love her. She knows exactly what she’s doing and her organizational skills are out of this world. Leah left the house spotless, the animals are always calm when we come back and we just know that they’ve been well cared for by the three of them. I know that Krafty, Django and Newton will miss them!

Joy and Antoine are simply the best house sitters! We have been very fortunate to have them house sitting for us three times this summer, and I cannot tell you how amazing it was to travel and not have a single worry about our dogs. Joy's communication is next level. We received images and videos of the dogs morning and night -- every time they went for a walk. A couple of challenges came up with the apartment while we were away and Joy and Antoine took care of everything for us. They were very open, communicated clearly, and made sure the house was in order. When we returned the house was very clean and organized. We could not be more grateful. We also have a variety of plants that were watered on a schedule and were happy to come home to a lot of growth and new flowers! I fully recommend Antoine and Joy as house sitters. They are phenomenal and you would be lucky to have them care for your pets. Thank you guys!! Marble and Chili miss you already!

Melanie was very efficient at being in touch before the house sit. She was fantastic and I would highly recommend her. She was very organised and kept the house very tidy and looked after our puppy really well and sent us photographs and updates while we were away. We hope to have her again in the future.

Francisco took a very good care of my 2 lovely "babies": Sabinka and Largo. He was communicating well and was sending updates during my absence (including short videos and whatsapp messages). I was able to relax as I knew they were in good hands during my trip abroad.

Elizabeth was absolutely fantastic looking after our two ( mad) spaniels for a week while we were away. She kept us informed of what was going on but was obviously super competent and always on top of things. She was charming and great to work with. A wonderful houseguest!!

Agathe & Yohannes looked after our cat Ronja for almost a month and we couldn't be happier! They were super communicative before and through out the stay and we knew all the time that our cat were in good hands. They left our apartment in perfect condition and it was lovely to come back from our trip to a clean home. They also took good care of our plants even it was hot days in Helsinki! We would happily take you to sit Ronja any time again and recommend to other pet owners too! Thank you yet again for taking so good care of Ronja, 6/5*!

Thomas and his mother came the day before I went away to get to know our animals. As this was a short sit he only had sole care of them for just over a day. (my husband came home late the next night.) During the sit Thomas did ask to stay an extra day, which we were happy to do, so over all they stayed four night with us. Thomas is very friendly and speaks good English. Sophie had lots of good walks with him. He clearly likes animals and did well with our two large goats. We were happy to leave our home and all our animals in his care. Merci, Thomas, d'avoir pris soin de nos animaux et de notre maison.

Their care and attention to detail exceeded all our expectations. From the moment they arrived, they bonded with our pets, treating them with the love and affection they would give their own. Our dogs were taken on exciting adventures and received such thoughtful care that I’m certain they didn’t miss us for a moment. What truly sets Aurelia and Remi apart is their unwavering dedication. Even when I encountered some unexpected technical issues while away, Aurelia went above and beyond to assist me in resolving them, all while managing the household and ensuring our dogs were happy and content. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine love for animals make them truly outstanding pet sitters. If you're looking for peace of mind and want to ensure your pets are in the best hands, look no further than Aurelia and Remi. They are simply the best!

Lauriane & David were wonderful house/pet sitters. We had a video chat with them a couple of months before the sit and knew right away they were going to be a good fit. We were happy to have supper with them the day before the sit and put them up overnight in the guest bedroom. It gave us time to show them the house, meet our cat and get to know them more. They obviously had read the Guide Book beforehand and asked great questions. Our cat, Rascal, took to them immediately and we felt very comfortable leaving him in such great hands. They were great communicators and we really loved getting daily pictures or short videos of Rascal. We came back to a very clean and tidy house, and a lovely note with a drawing of our cat on the front (sketched by Lauriane)! They were truly lovely to interact with and we would highly recommend them for house/pet sitting.

Audrey really bonded with Dicey and he seemed very happy and comfortable in her presence. She is definitely a cat person and we felt at ease as soon as we met her. She sent us constant updates with cute photos at meals and playtime. We came home to a very happy boy! Our house was spotless upon our return which we really appreciated as well. It was cleaner than when she arrived. We did have an issue at the start of the stay where Dicey was let out and lost which caused us extreme anxiety and stress while we were overseas and powerless to help. To her credit, Audrey followed all of our instructions to leave the front door open for him and stayed up the entire night waiting for his return. She also spent hours looking for him before it got dark. Her response to this crisis was timely, responsible and efficient and we managed to get him back. Mistakes do happen and cats are extremely smart so we are still happy with the housesit, but feel like it’s important to mention that there’s no harm in leaving very clear and specific instructions and perhaps changing certain rules while you’re gone (we normally allow our cat on the deck with us which is how this happened).
