This place is amazing! Kiba gets excited every time we get there. The place is always clean, they have fun activities for them throughout the month, the staff is always friendly, and the vaccine records are vital to them, meaning that our dogs' health is a priority.

What an amazing team and a big warm welcome for Lucas on his first meet and greet. He was so excited at drop off and watching him play with so many new friends was wonderful. At pick up time Lucas was tired for sure, he had a full day of play. Seeing the care each team member provided for Lucas was so comforting and to know he was in good hands was a blessing. The facility is well equipped for in house and outside play time with lots of fun toys for them. I would highly recommend the San Marcos location for your pet. We LOVE DogTopia! One of the main reasons why we chose Dogtopia was because they did not have breed restrictions, like many other doggy daycares in my area. We have an American Bulldog, named Ivy who absolutely loves it at Dogtopia. Whenever we are in the parking lot or ask her if she's ready for "school" she knows she in for a fun day with all her friends! We have boarded Ivy a few times for overnights and are happy with them. Our family is going on vacation in July and we have such peace of mind knowing that our Ivy will be boarded at Dogtopia, where she is comfortable with staff and in a fun enviroment. Thank you to all the staff at Dogtopia for loving our baby girl, Ivy !

My dog loves going to Doggy Day care. He has several friends that he plays with and the staff is always so welcoming and accommodating. I can't recommend this place enough. A true lifesaver for me as it was my first time having a puppy and he needed to get that puppy energy out. They even take cute pictures of him on holidays.

Dogtopia is the perfect place for our dog, Chex! He loves socializing with the canine coaches and other dogs! Being at Dogtopia allows him to expend all his energy - he falls asleep quick after picking him up. He’s learned so much too - it’s been great taking him out to new places and being around new people, as daycare has helped reinforce waiting, being flexible with other dogs and self-regulating. We love knowing that when we drop him off that he’s having a fun and safe day with staff who truly care! All Dogtopia staff are so patient and friendly. We can’t thank them enough!

Overall, I am thrilled with this doggy daycare. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and it's clear that they genuinely care about the dogs. My dog always comes home happy and tired from a day of play and socialization. I really regret placing my trust in this place. I traveled for a month and I sent my 2 dogs boarding here. While I was traveling for a week, I received an email informing that one of my two dogs had been bitten by another dog. And he needed to go the ER for the surgery. That seemed to destroy our family’s mood. But I and my family were out of the country and couldn’t reschedule my flight as well as couldn’t cancel all the pre- booked hotel. When I returned to the US, they gave me an injured dog and the second dog with a cold and urinary tract infection. When I asked what happened, they gave me the answer that because my dog and another dog got bored staying in there for a long time, they became upset and didn't like to be disturbed and fights broke out. Not only that, I don't have any discount for this long package for my 2 dogs. And I had to pay almost $4200 for my 2 dogs, plus about $2000 more for their hospital bills. My family and I were so sad for getting our puppies boarding at that bad place.

The team at Camp Run-A-Mutt San Marcos is fantastic. My girl can't wait to go and play and comes home exhausted. Staff is so friendly, caring and go above and beyond. They take care of each dog as if they're there own. Highly recommend!

Camp Run-A-Mutt is awesome! Sophie loves her play time there, all the employees are great and Miranda is a FABULOUS groomer. I highly recommend them!

Been taking our dog here for the past year and we absolutely love it. Staff is great, very friendly in person and on the phone. Facility is always clean. We enjoy being able to see our dog on their camera throughout the day! We see her playing with other dogs while staff clean-play-pet dogs. We can tell that she loves Camp Run a Mutt SM, when we pick her up she always has the biggest smile on her face.

We have been using them 8 years and we still love Camp Run A Mutt. Their staff are phenomenal. The new owners are wonderful and they take amazing care of our dog. All the staff are very familiar with each dog and their own little quirks and it’s that personal touch that really makes the difference. We use them for all of our daycare and boarding needs and could not ask for a better daycare.

Our dog loooooves coming to Camp! It makes traveling so much more fun knowing our fur-baby is having a great time while we are away, and Camp was a god send when we had our new baby, too.

The entry is always clean and fresh smelling, and the front desk staff are kind and helpful. We come about once a week for half day care and are very happy so far.

My family loves this location of Camp Run-A-Mutt. We have a puppy that is used to spending lots of time with her mom, so it was important for us to find a place where we felt comfortable leaving her overnight or for the odd day here and there. Our girl is so excited every time we drop her off, and it's clear that the staff love her. What originally sold us was that there are no crates (even when boarding overnight) and they have cameras so you can check on your pup if desired. Those are great features, but it's the kind and dedicated staff that really make this place the best. Highly recommend!!

We’ve been using Dogs on the Run in 2020 and now again for over a year after moving back to the area, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and attention our pets receive. Melissa is fantastic with Dino, our dog, taking him on daily walks and capturing great pictures along the way. She always goes the extra mile to make sure he’s happy and well-exercised. Lora from Dogs on the Run was absolutely fabulous! We went on a family ski trip for a little over a week and Lora watched over our pup. We have a 2 year old lab and love her so much. Lora treated her like family and took such good care of her. Every day she sent me photos and updates which was a nice bonus. I've attached a few of the photos she sent over while we were gone-it made me so happy to get these updates;) We will definitely be using her services again when we travel or anytime we need someone to watch over our pup. I cannot say more good things about DOTR. Athena watched my sweet dog for 4 days and was nothing short of amazing. My dog is nervous/hyper and Athena worked with her and gave me so many updates as I was Away. I felt So comfortable knowing Cali was in such great hands and under such sweet care. 10/10 would use DOTR again and Cali can’t wait to see Athena again. She was AMAZING

Dogs on the Run came very highly recommended and they have been a life saver when I needed a pet sitter for my 20 lb pug mix dog. Right from the start, their professionalism was evident. They were fast to respond and asked me a series of pertinent questions regarding my dog's requirements and temperament, so that they can find a pet sitter who was the best match. Based on our discussion, they connected me to Shae. Shae is the best pet sitter I have worked with. Shae was always punctual. My dog, Chewy, instantly bonded with her. Shae followed all my instructions perfectly. Chewy can be leash reactive and hence walking him can be challenging, But Shae was very patient and careful with him. At the end of each session, she would send a detailed report along with pictures, which I very much appreciated. She was a pleasure to work with and I will be requesting her services on a regular basis. After every pet sitting gig, 'Dogs on the run' always followed up with me to get my feedback and ensure my satisfaction. I highly recommend DOTR and Shae for your pet sitting needs.

DOTR is an OUTSTANDING DOG-SITTING RESOURCE, & they have sitters throughout a broad section of the country. We used them while traveling for a family event in Berkeley, CA. The sitter, JANA was a sweetheart, was punctual, & professional, & even advised us when she reached our hotel. As I requested, she kept us updated on our puppy's status throughout the time she took care of her throughout the 2 days we were there, walking her, playing with her favorite fetch balls, etc, She sent us numerous adorable photos for my phone, & thorough updates, further making me feel confident that our puppy was in excellent hands. I couldn't have been more pleased, & STRONGLY RECOMMEND "DOTR" for reliable, professional dog-sitting services.

We have used Hounds to Horses for years to care for our pets. They are professional, friendly, reliable, and our pets are still happy and healthy when we get home. I cannot recommend them enough.

Janean is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and seems to be able to make them feel very comfortable. My 2 Chihuahuas have stayed with her 2 times over the last couple of months. 1 is very skittish and the other has tremendous separation anxiety. Both so very well there and I am so grateful!

We have used both the daycare and in-home visits at Hounds to Horses. Lucy and Jasper always get the best of care. Lucy thinks Bill is her "other Dad" and sometimes seems to prefer staying with him than coming home! That tells me that she's getting the love and attention she needs while we are away. We've been using H to H for over 8 years and I would recommend it to anyone who wants kindhearted people to take care of their fur babies. Thanks Janean and Bill!

I've experienced the great environment and personal care that they give all of their animals. The only concern you should have about boarding your animals at Hounds To Horses is that your pet may never want to go back home with you! I highly recommend Hounds To Horses!

Aysha is the best! There’s no one else I would trust my dog with! My dog literally loses his mind every time he sees her because he associates her with good times! The first pic is from a pack walk my dog went on last week. He’s the one all the way to the left in a down with pointy ears. The second pic is Luce when I told him Aysha was here. The last pic is Luce after the pack walk. He sleeps most of the afternoon and into the evening. You need this woman in your life!

Our dog has been going out with Pals that Wander as soon as he was old enough to do so, and now he is so super socialized, and he looks forward to the two times a week. He gets picked up for a special hike and play date. I couldn’t recommend Pals that Wander more , my dog dollar is super lucky!!!

I cannot express the gratitude that I feel for the sincere love and compassion that they showed me and my dogs. They offer pickup and drop off daycare services and they offer sitting services. The daycare is a typically in a hike or at the beach and my pups always come home exhausted. I call these sisters my dog’s “girlfriends” because he is more excited to see them than than he is to see me come through the door. They take professional photos of the whole adventure so you have incredible footage of your pet in action.

Aysha and her sister are the best!! The initial paperwork is complete and dedicated to getting to know your dog, flaws and all. My dog loves his time with them!! You will get pictures and updates while you are away! Check out their feed, happy doggies!!! Scheduling is easy! Day trips or overnights are available. I never worry about my dog when he's with them. ***PALS THAT WANDER IS THE BEST*** Since moving across the country, far away from friends and family who would love on my dog while I was away, I found it extremely hard to find someone that would care for my dog like I would. Dog hotels and even pet sitters that were recommended left me feeling uneasy, as I could tell my dog was riddled with anxiety after a day with them. Pals That Wander is THE ONLY sitters that I leave my dog with, where I feel he is getting treated as well as if he were with me. My dog is obsessed with the beach and they pick him up for a day of fun in the California sun, while somehow capturing some of the best photos I have of my dog. It’s so awesome to get photo and video check ins of his adventures to ease my guilt over having to leave him. Even if I’m not out of town, it’s so nice to be able to have them pick my dog up on a heavy work week, so that he still gets a day of play that he deserves. The pickup/drop off is so convenient. You will not regret hiring them as your trusted sitters. They are truly one of a kind!

I am genuinely so delighted to have been referred to Pals That Wander this past spring. We started out looking for a reliable pet-sitter so we didn't need to send our pup to a big kennel. The moment I met Aysha, I knew it would be the right fit. She began taking Leo on beach trips to get used to him and vice verse. Now *WE* are all hooked :) He adores his (sometimes twice) weekly beach trips with his pals, gets out so much energy, and has had many stays with Aysha and her sweet sister, Kimmie for overnights. I literally don't trust my dog to anyone else. You will not only end up with the most amazing photos of your dog having the best beach playtime of their life, but your dog will end up with the best pack of pals ever. My dog has a better social life than I do thanks to Aysha :) Anytime we've been away and he's stayed for overnights, I never, ever worry because she keeps me in the loop the whole time of how he's doing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Aisha and her team. They have been a literal godsend to me, my family, and our 2 year old goldendoodle named Frankie. For nearly a year now they have taken our sweet but rambunctious boy out 3 days a week on adventures to the beach and to hiking spots around town. Frankie is incredibly high energy who needs lots of social interaction and if not — is sad and depressed at home — and we are not that comfortable spending time at dog parks where I don’t know about any possible behavioral issues of other dogs. Aisha and her team are kind, professional, passionate, knowledgeable, patient, talented, reliable, trustworthy and just an overall great company. Frankie LOVES his time with them (borderline obsessed) and waits at the window anxiously for their arrival. Best decision ever! (The photo below is one Aisha took of Frankie last week at the beach. She regularly sends amazing photos & videos of Frankie after each adventure! Simply amazing!)

Our doodle Rooney gets so excited whenever he sees Aysha and the Pals that Wander crew show up. The adventures the dogs go on are so fun and Aysha takes great care of the dogs. Tanya’s Ware Woof was exactly what I was looking for! I had a 2-day photoshoot in the north county area, but couldn’t find a dog day care that I felt confident leaving my best bud Bill with. Ware Woof is safe, intimate, with room to roam, and Tanya is warm & personable, making the dogs feel like they are part of her own pack. Grateful for all the updates, photos and stories for what Bill was up to. Will definitely be back, Tanya! Thank you so-so much for looking after my guy!

We have used the Ware Woof Pet Resort numerous times for boarding our 11 year old rat-terrier/shitzu mix, both for over night and week long boarding. Tanya always takes great care of Lola, and though the other dogs there are always of larger breeds, Lola has a great time with all her new friends! She always comes home to us renewed and is excited when she returns to the resort! I can’t think of a better place to take her when we go away.

I recently adopted an older dog who came with some serious separation anxiety issues. I was a mess just thinking about leaving him for an hour, let alone multiple days. After seeing how comfortable he was with Tanya, and how easy she made me feel a weekend apart would be, I decided to leave him at the Ware Woof Pet Resort in her care to go out of town with some friends. She was patient and thoughtful enough to let us come over prior to make sure all of the pups could get along before the plans were solidified. I received updates, pictures and check-ins throughout the trip and felt like I was right there with my old puppy the entire time. I was able to relax and knew she had it handled, feeling completely confident in her abilities, awareness and gift with dogs. ANYONE that asks me for a referral for a good dog sitter gets a raving intro to Tanya, and my dog ADORES her. She is THE best and the only person I would leave my dog with in complete confidence she's taking care of him as I would.

Spending a week in Carlsbad from the east coast, we were desperate to find a trusted doggy daycare. After researching, we found ware woof pet resort and couldn't have been happier! Tanya was extremely friendly and accommodating to our dynamic schedule - she was transparent throughout the process and would send picture and video updates of our dog :). Our dog has separation anxiety but felt right at home at Tanya's. Highly recommend ware woof pet resort - we will be going back when we're in the area next! Thank you Tanya!

Our Maizie LOVES Tanya and spending the night at the Ware Woof Pet Resort. It is a safe and wonderful place for her to be. Tanya is incredibly kind and gentle and plays close attention to the needs of each guest. We 've boarded Maizie for both short and multi-week visits and have always brought home a happy dog. Regardless of how long she is at the Resort, she returns to the Resort with her tail awagging...Maizie is so excited to see Tanya that she barks loudly at the gate (sorry about that! We're working on it!). We never worry about Maizie. We know she's well cared for, safe, happy, and having fun. If I could give 10 stars to this amazing woman and her wonderful Pet Resort, I would.

I randomly stumbled across Pets in Paradise when my high energy pit bull mix was not enjoying her other daycare as much. Pets in Paradise has been incredible! My dog is very selective in who she likes, and she absolutely adores the staff here. She gets to run around outside all day and the staff sends pictures and updates throughout the day to provide peace knowing she is enjoying herself.

I love this place!! My dogs always come back happy, fresh from a bath, and tired from having so much fun. Thank you to the incredible staff for taking such good care of my pups Bowie and Rocky!

My dog Sadie doesn't like many people and won't even go for a walk with good friends of mine who she knows well. However, she absolutely loves the staff at Pets in Paradise. In the morning, she waits at the door for their arrival and practically jumps into their arms when they come to pick her up. When she comes home in the afternoon, she is tired and happy. I have been unable to walk her, so Pets in Paradise has become a life saver for me and also for Sadie.

My dog loves this place. She comes back happy and tired. The taxi service is awesome. She jumps right in the van without saying good bye. All of the staff I have met have been so friendly. I highly recommend the doggy day care or boarding to anyone!

Sirena is awesome! She is professional, reliable, responsible and always on top of things. She sends me an update after each walk without me needing to ask, and is very detailed and attentive to my dogs. It give both my husband and i such piece of mind knowing she is helping out with the dogs because she is great at what she does. She takes pride in doing a great job and stays up on her knowledge to give you tips about products and different things for your pets. I would easily recommend her to anyone looking for some extra care for their pets!

I would like to take this opportunity to share my positive experiences I have had with Sirena and her business, "Happy Trails and Wag'n Tails." I found Sirena through Yelp and decided to contact her based off the positive reviews I found. My first conversation with Sirena was extremely professional and efficient. I gave her a background on my two dogs (border collie mix and Rhodesian ridgeback/pitbull- both BIG and VERY high energy), and what I was looking for and asked if she would come and meet my dogs, and myself, before we agreed to start a business relationship; I have had some bad experiences with dog sitters/walkers in the past and am careful about who I leave my fur babies with. When Sirena got to my house, my dogs IMMEDIATELY liked her ... They both ran up to her and she welcomed them with open arms. She had no reservations towards either of them, and seemed completely comfortable and at ease. Her attitude towards them made me comfortable as well. After spending that time with her, we decided to start walks two days later. Sirena sent me her business contract and I gave her all the info on my dogs. Her prices were more than fair and I was excited to have found her. It has been about 5 months since I first met Sirena and I honestly couldn't be happier that I did. She is the most professional and caring dog walker I have EVER met. She is prompt and gives an email report of how my dogs were for that day. When we first started with Sirena, she would take our dogs together. About a month into her walking my pups, they had some issues and we decided it would be best to walk them separately. Sirena was very understanding of this and offered her help in anyway possible. She had tons of advice and experience to offer which I appreciated. Recently, we had some pretty bad fires by our house. When this happened, I was at work 40 minutes away and my husband was traveling and unavailable as well. I immediately called Sirena who was already heading to my house to walk the pups. I asked her if she could stay with them for a little until I could get off work and she agreed without hesitation. She ended up staying at my house for close to 2 hours to make sure I got home and that my dogs were safe. She then proceeded to stay in touch with me over the next coupe of days with updates on the fires and to make sure we were safe. She was seriously a godsend. Overall, I would highly recommend Sirena. She is the most responsible and caring person I have met in the industry to date. I feel that my dogs are 100% safe with her and know they love the time they spend with her. Shefollows all the rules I have in place for my dogs. She is very friendly and I know she truly loves the dogs and what she does.

We have used Sirena on two occasions to petsit our kittens and adult cat. Each time, she has surpassed our expectations. Sirena is extremely detail oriented and does exactly what you ask her to do. In our case, the kitten and adult cat were still living in separate areas of the house, but allowed to mingle with each other supervised. Sirena followed our directions on how we wanted them separated, and followed up and gave updates with text messages, photographs, and emails. Bottom line is, you can trust Sirena 100%. If she says she will be there, she will be there. If you ask her to do something a certain way, you can be assured it will be done that way. It is obvious that Sirena is an animal person. Animal House Pet Care has been taking care of our Greyhounds for years. Susan and Gina and there capable staff LOVE our dogs and our dog LOVE them! They spend time with them, walk them and feed them and any other request we have. They are so caring about maintaining our house when we are away. When we come home, the have left flowers and a nice note about how much they enjoyed caring for our pets. They also text us images and videos of our pets so we care see how well they are cared for and when we miss them. Susan and her staff are without a doubt THE BEST!!!!!

Update November 2017 - THE BEST EVER DOG SITTER. It's been six years that we have been using Animal House Pet Care. Susan and Gina are the best. Professional, respectful and trustworthy. I would not trust my 2 doggies with anyone else. I really did not want to write this to share how good they are, since I don't want to compete with anyone taking my vacation slots but who they are and how well they treat animals does need to be shared with others that truly want the best for their dogs and animals. My review in 2011 - Susan has been taking care of our two standard poodles for over a year. She is very professional and her kindness towards our "girls" is great. She is very responsible and knows a lot about dogs and dog behavior. We would not trust many people with our girls. They are only two years old and very impressionable. They absolutely love her. We use Susan for weekly dog walks and when we go away on vacation. The house and the girls are in tip top shape when we get home from our vacations. Susan will text or call depending on what your need is. I know she is taking great care of them and I always get a note on how their walk went. It makes you feel relieved that someone with love for animals is taking care of your pet. You are in good hands with Susan. The best pet sitter I ever came across.

Gina and Susan are amazing! Ive know them for at least 15 years. They treat everyone well! They treat their employees equally and are very generous with them as well. I absolutely love how they present their company. They present their company with such honesty, integrity compassion, love, and much more!!! They truly represent what AHPC is all about. Its very difficult to find such class acts in business-Gina and Susan do it well!!!

I have been using Animal House Pet Care for more than 2 years. From a two dogs we had and a cat to now just a cat. Whatever the need and whenever the call they are their to answer. Not only do they send updates via text, but send pictures and videos upons request to ensure you that your pet or pets are in good hands. They even tidy up and leave you a little treat from r your pet and for you, usually delicious cookies!!!! Homemade as well. They are around all holidays and truly step up and do those little things that most places don’t. The prices are also are on par if not lower than most. Highly recommend using them.

I am thoroughly impressed with the services provided by Staycation for Dogs. Previously, I had never entrusted the care of my beloved fur baby, Melody, to anyone else. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I found myself in a situation where I had to leave her in the care of professionals. Upon arriving at Staycation for Dogs, I was warmly greeted by the staff, who made both Melody and myself feel at ease. To my pleasant surprise, I received a text message and a photograph during the day, which depicted Melody happily engaging in various activities. The staff demonstrated exceptional care and caution when introducing Melody to other dogs, recognizing her initial apprehension. As a result of their outstanding care, I now regularly bring Melody to Staycation for Dogs once a week for daycare. She has grown to love her time there immensely, eagerly anticipating our arrival each time. The pups had a great time at Staycation for Dogs. I was a little nervous because both Toby and Sophie are nervous around larger doggies. But, there were plenty of small doggies for them to pay with. Booking online and conversing with the staff was simple and you can tell they enjoy their jobs and love doggies. The pups spent about three nights there and we got the attached photos while they were there. I think Toby has a smile on his face in one of them. Toby and Sophie eat fresh food, which was not a problem for the staff to handle. The pups also got a bath, nail trim and ear clean, which the staff tells me the pups were very cooperative for. Finding the location and parking was very simple and I love how close they are to Escondido. All in all the experience was great and we will be sending our pups here again when we are out of town. Thanks for having such a great facility in North County.

There are many choices out there so as a new dog mom I didn’t know where to start or who to trust. But after my HoneyBear stayed a half day for their daycare program and played so happily as the picture they sent me proved so, I was convinced we were in the right place. I just came back from a 4 day trip where I left my baby at Staycation and they assured me all during my trip that she was good and even that they enjoyed having her there 🥰 Highly recommend for feeling peace with leaving your fur baby here.

My dog loves it here. When your pet is there, they will send you text messages with videos and photos of your dog having fun and hanging out with the other dogs. I even go drop my dog off half a day sometimes just to give him some fun time with the other dogs there, he seems to really enjoy it.

Best people, best prices! Our dogs love Staycation and can’t wait to get out of the car when we pull up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Service is OK. However, the environment felt incredibly unprofessional... It was a bit awkward when some of the ladies at the front desk began speaking in hushed tones. At first I thought they could be speaking about me, then I realized, no, they were speaking about one of their coworkers. It made me wonder what they say about customers as well. Just bad vibes all around. I like it when we're nice to humans, not just dogs! Would come back if I really needed to, but I feel a bit off after that situation.

If you’re looking for a great boarding spot for your pets, want responsible people watching them while you are away then look no further because these are the people you want/need. Their pricing is affordable which is nice when you are looking for somewhere that is trustworthy but not going to break the bank at the same time. We had the best experience with them and being that I used to manage a boarding facility myself I am very picky who we leave our pets with. The facility was very well maintained and clean. The animals all looked very happy and when I went to go pick up our pups I think they actually wanted to stay there and play longer!! This is our go to place from now on and we are so grateful that we found them. Thank you Randell for the above and beyond work you all do with our pets, you guys rock!!!!

We love these guys! Pups have a roomier space to sleep than most boarding facilities. Instead of just playing for an hour a day & being crated/contained, my dogs get actual real all day quality time playing with other dogs and cuddling with the owners. I’ve been super happy each time we’ve brought them here, and the pups come home content and tired, not nervous or on edge. Is it as pretty as some? No, but the quality of the stay, the care, and the time/amount of safe outdoor clean space your dogs enjoy are superior, which are my main priorities. I’m so happy I found CrestView for my dogs! It was so much easier than I thought it would be to set everything up and Randall (the owner) was absolutely the best with them! I was originally apprehensive about leaving my baby, Shadow, as she has had issues in the past with men and other dogs besides Nova, but after staying with Randall for 3 weeks, she made so many new friends! She’s a completely new dog! One of the things I looked forward to every day was a brief “pupdate” on how both dogs were doing with several pictures almost every day during their stay. After around the fourth day, I was able to relax, knowing I made the right decision in who to leave them. I love that they got so much playtime and were rotated between outdoor playtime and indoor couch/tv time with very little time in an actual kennel with no additional fees for either. Randall really cares about every dog that stays with him and I’m confident that he provided mine with the same (or I’d even say better since they got so much time to play and meet new friends every day) care that I give them.

I love this place. I enrolled my shy guy into the day training program. He is half way through his first sessions and I am seeing amazing progress. The staff and trainers are super responsive. And I love how clean/secure the facilities are. I feel my little dude is in great hands. I appreciate how strict staff is with vaccines too!! Keeping our fur babies safe and healthy. This place is a GEM. Orbit comes home tired & happy!!!

Excellent care ! We have been bringing our dogs for daycare, and they love coming! We have also used the boarding and feel comfortable they are in good hands. We love getting pictures while we are away . Tara and Adam do an amazing job caring for our fur babies . Kristen has groomed our goldendoodle and does a wonderful job too. My husband and I adopted our sweet boy Beaux in June of 2024. We quickly discovered he would get really overstimulated, really quickly. And while we were researching and training at home as much as we could, we were finding ourselves facing issue after issue or setback after setback. He was reactive to all dogs, and even though his reactivity was that of excitement, we knew that he didn’t have the tools necessary to come face to face with other untrained dogs like him (dogs that were submissive or had good training previously were okay for him to handle). We knew we needed help and were recommended Alcala by another pet parent at the dog park. We set up our orientation as soon as we could and we immediately fell in love with the place. The manager, Courtney, did our orientation and was SO knowledgeable about every single topic we had questions about. I was incredibly nervous to leave him there - as I was DREADING the (what felt like inevitable) phone call telling me Beaux was too much for them to handle. But, the call never came. In fact, when we picked him up the first day, and saw how happy he was, we knew immediately that we made the right decision choosing Alcala. He did one five-week class at two days a week and the improvements we saw from him were undeniable!! He walked on leashes better, his reactivity was better, his at home manners were better, and while we knew he had a long way to go, I felt so much more confident and SAFE taking him outside on my own. At the time, he was about 90lbs, today he’s a 101, and the fear I had about not being able to handle him is largely gone and I credit it 100% to Alcala. Our trainer, Cydney, was with us every step of the way. We would ask question after question, provide story after story for context, and she would always have exercises that would potentially (and usually did) help immensely. For the rare occasion that something we learned and tried wasn’t helping as well as we would’ve hoped, she would quickly pivot, demonstrate, and give us new exercises to try. We saw so much improvement in his first five-week package that we signed up for another - simply hoping for more of the same, because his progress was unbelievable. We were pleasantly surprised to see more progress yet again. Not only did we maintain the level of training he had learned but he expanded on it even more! Beaux is calmer, SO much less reactive, and is so much more well behaved at home (which is shocking because he never really gave us a hard time in the first place). He finished out his package this week, and while we’re going to take the rest of the year to be home and spend the holidays with family, my husband and I are already making plans as to when we can bring him back. The joy Alcala has brought Beaux is palpable. The ease of mind and confidence it has brought me is undeniable. My husband feels more confident handling training situations in public, a task I am still trying to master. I could not recommend Alcala enough. Courtney, Cydney, and the rest of the amazing staff have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. We cannot wait to be back!

Best daycare and boarding in town! They keep you updated on your dog and even gave our pup some pumpkin due to a stomach issue. They treat our dog as their own pet and we love them! Our dog June is always happy to go for the day or stay overnight at Alcala!

Alcala is a caring and welcoming place for doggie daycare and boarding. I can leave town knowing my pup will be well cared for and safe. They are super sweet with her and I appreciate them!

We trust Alcala and our dog loves it! Our 2 year old lab goes to Alcala for day care, and we board her there when we are out of town. She just stayed for 2 weeks, and previously had been boarded multiple times for up to a week. When we picked her up after 15 days, she was happy and it was like no time had passed! As a dog parent it is hard to find a place that you trust, and we have tried dog sitters in our home but have found that boarding is the best option for us. It's important to enjoy while we are away without worrying, and know our dog is safe and cared for by professionals. That is Alcala for us and we appreciate all the staff!

My very, very, difficult dog started muzzled and dosed with tranquilizers when Kristen did her first groom. Now Emmy, my sweet Maltese, with a snappy streak, just allows Kristen to go on ahead. WE love Kristen, she is a dog whisperer!

My experience with Alcala has always been positive for both training and boarding. The staff is experienced, patient, and accommodating and I am always at ease when my pups are with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and fun environment for their pet!

Overall I really like Alcala. My dog seems super happy to go there and I love there is so much group play time. I gave you a 4 instead of 5 for 2 reasons: 1) I find the rates very very high, and it's painful to pay for two days of boarding when we technically stay over a single night. There is zero way to pay for one day of boarding, and I find that to be, well, just wrong for the customer. Say I dropped my dog at 4pm on a Tuesday and got him at 9am the next day. I am charged $130. I'd love if you could rethink this policy and charge by 24-hour periods (like, say, a car rental company). 2) I almost never get feedback on how my dog did. I've never had a report card or a photo. I'd love to hear more about his visits.
