Mature, peaceful couple
On a scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 as best) we would rate Maria and Lu as 12 or better. They should be the poster people for all house/pet sitters. They dealt with a difficult situation when the Koi began to spawn and left the house better than they found it. They seemed to enjoy their stay and our dog loved them. They even did extra chores above and beyond such as cleaning the BBQ, changing light bulbs, and organizing the garage. Communication was excellent and they even left several home cooked meals for us so that we would not have to cook on our first day back. We invited them back for another stay in August and they accepted. We feel that we not only found great sitters, but great friends that we hope to see often in the future.

What to say about this fabulous mother-daughter duo.....? I'm pretty sure Tina Turner wrote a song about them....Simply the Best! Gail and Taylor are two awesome people who have the best energy and just love love love animals! My dogs got the royal treatment with these two ladies, so much so that Winnie is still sulking her aunties who love to spoil her are gone. :) They sent updates all the time, including pictures, which reassured me that the dogs were having fun and getting top notch care. If you ever come across these two ladies wanting to sit for you, do yourself a favor and book them! I hope they come back to sit for me again one day and I would welcome it in a heartbeat!

Tom & Lori were a godsend. I would leave a hundred and five stars if I could. We were away for 22 days and this is the first time we really enjoyed our vacation cause I knew everything was looked after included our fur babies. Toby and Lexi say hello and say big thanks for all the cuddles & love you gave them. When we got back everything was perfect. Thanks for watering the plants and keeping the hummingbirds fed. The house was also perfect when we got back. We hope you enjoyed all the sights and sounds Nova Scotia has to offer. Thanks again Tom & Lori....you guys are awesome! Tim and Erica were superb house and petsitters during the seven weeks I was out of town. They went way beyond my expectations in their care for my house and the kitties (and me)! I appreciated and accepted their offer to take me to the airport and pick me up on my return. They coordinated well with me while I was out of the country, sending photos of cats and updating me. When the dryer had problems, Tim worked with the dryer, me, and the repair company to handle it. (A new dryer is now on order!) And when the oldest cat had a recurrence of an ear infection, they coordinated with me and the vet’s office to get more medicine and give it to Spunky. They doted on the cats and took care of their every need! (Cats were clearly at ease with them when I returned.) And they went way beyond by doing some cleanup work outside and leaving the house in pristine condition. I wish them all the best and hope they’ll consider sitting again sometime.

Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. Caitlyn, KJ, and their pup Sully were excellent house guests and pet sitters, and we would highly recommend them! I was able to meet Caitlyn and KJ prior to them house sitting for us, and we are always super appreciative when sitters are able to make that work and are willing to take time out of their schedule to come over and get the lay of the land. Their dog Sully was full of good boy energy and was a great playmate for our two Golden Retrievers. During the stay, Caitlyn & KJ sent us photos every day and followed all of our instructions for pet care to a T. They were super self-sufficient and gracious guests that left our place looking just like it did when we left, and we were very at peace knowing that our dogs were in great hands, getting lots of exercise, and romping around with new friend Sully. Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! Not only did our pets enjoy meeting Kelly and Christopher, my husband and I enjoyed meeting them as well! They are personable and kind, organized and communicative, and most of all excellent pet sitters. Kelly and Chris are attentive housesitters. They went out of their way to connect with our dogs, especially Smitty, our rescue. The dogs were walked, brushed, and played with throughout the weeklong sit. They sent pics of how our fur babies were doing and truly seemed to enjoy their time with them. Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!
