I will treat your home/property/pets as I would my own.
Robert was as good as advertised. Great communication all around with regular updates during the sit. Gave the doggos a bath, reset linens, and left the house cleaner than he found it.

Conscientious cat sitter eager to care for your home
Elizabeth is such an amenable and reliable housesotter - it’s a breeze to work with her. She is very organized, clear about arrivals and departures, attentive to our cats and very good about sending photos and updates every few days. She works from home so she spent more time with them than we sometimes do, and both parties seemed to relish each other’s company! Elizabeth is also smart, thoughtful and resourceful.

Animal lovers wanting to travel the world and get pet cuddles along the way!!
Cindy and Dan are real pros - absolutely wonderful! We feel really lucky that they saw our sitting request and pursued staying with Kona for our long 25 day trip. We had a zoom call while they were sitting in Asia, and felt confident that we could trust them with our dog and our house. Their communication before and during the sit was perfect and thorough. They sent us many photos and videos every single day of our trip, and indulged me in long exchanges about how much I love Kona. It was obvious that they gave her all the love during their stay too. Kona got to go on her twice a day ball walks in the national forest near us, and she got to go on lots of excursions with them as well. She's a lab, so we needed sitters who would exercise her multiple times a day. Cindy and Dan are athletes too so fulfilled Kona's need for movement. It was obvious that Kona was comfortable and she even seemed to be confused when Cindy and Dan left the house at the end. We are so grateful for the love and time they put into making it a great experience, and I hope they feel the same about their time in the Colorado foothills with Kona the chocolate lab. Thank you, guys!! All the best, and keep in touch!

US based sitter, looking to make new friends all around the world!
Carla is a wonderful sitter. Both my cats love her, even Shyla the very time shelter cat. Carla sent me pictures of them so I knew they were in good hands. It was so easy for me to not worry about things knowing that Carla was there taking care of it all. I would love to have her sit again and will definitely check with her on future sit needs. Having her only a few miles away is a real bonus,.

Frequent Petsitter Who Loves Travel Seeking Accommodation and Pets to Watch
Elizabeth was an excellent sitter. She is clearly an animal lover and was in tune with our cats, especially bonding with Daisy who loves company and cuddles and attention, but also winning over slightly more picky Saffy. Liz kept us informed throughout the sit with photos and news and we came home to two contented and calm cats. The house was neat and tidy, the sheets and towels in the wash, and everything clean. We are glad she liked our area and Bushy Park and made use of our bicycle to explore. We have no hesitation in recommenting Liz and hope to see her again in the future.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Leslie and Kyle set the bar for all other pet sitters! On the first morning of their stay my cat got out due to a faulty window in my apartment and they handled the situation so well. Leslie sent a text explaining what happened and that my cat had returned safely and she was so calm about the whole thing that it put me at ease for the rest of my trip. Kyle went above and beyond and not only fixed the window screen (he actually fixed two screens during their stay!) but also made sure the window was secure until maintenance could come and fix the issue. Their go with the flow attitude was amazing. I would 100% have them sit for me again! I can not recommend them enough. You would be lucky to have Leslie and Kyle as your sitters :)
Initially, I was very nervous about finding my very first in-home pet sitter who could provide the level of care and attention our 3 beloved fur-kids required. From the moment Emily and Johnny stepped into our home, I knew they were going to be in good hands. Their gentle demeanor and genuine love for animals instantly put our dogs Gypsy & Johnny at ease. Emily and Johnny took the time to understand our pets’ unique personalities and preferences, ensuring that their every need would be met. During our absence, Emily provided us with regular updates and adorable photos. Their detailed communication gave me peace of mind, knowing that my fur babies were in the best possible hands. Upon our return, we were greeted by a happy and contented gang, who clearly had enjoyed their time with Emily and Johnny. Emily and Johnny are more than just pet sitters; they are true companions to our furry family. Their exceptional care, genuine love for animals, and unwavering dedication have earned them a permanent spot in our hearts. Without hesitation, we give Emily and Johnny a 5-star rating and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking trustworthy and loving caregivers for their beloved pets. THANK YOU Emily and Johnny!!! <3
We had the pleasure of having Tara as our house sitter while we were away, and we can't praise her enough for the fantastic job she did. Not only did she take excellent care of our home, but she also showed tremendous love and attention to our beloved dogs. From the moment Tara walked through the door, we could tell she had a genuine passion for animals. She immediately bonded with our dogs, and they seemed completely at ease with her. Throughout our trip, she provided us with regular updates and photos, which truly put our minds at ease knowing our boys were in great hands. Tara took great care of our home as well. It was evident that she respected our space and coming back home, we found everything just as we left it, if not even better! We highly recommend Tara to anyone in need of a reliable, trustworthy, and caring house sitter. Her communication was excellent, and she proved herself to be a responsible and dedicated individual. If you want to ensure your pets and home are in the best hands while you're away, Tara is the perfect choice. Thank you, Tara, for taking such incredible care of our dogs and home. You made our trip stress-free, and we're truly grateful.
We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.
I could not have asked for a better first time sitter experience! Terry & Vinnie were absolutely wonderful people. They took stellar care of my beloved pets and my home. Their communication with me was enough that I felt perfectly at ease during my time away and in turn, they were super responsive if I contacted them. My pets were relaxed and happy when I returned!
Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.
Anna was the perfect sitter for Tali, Mac and Sox. From the first moment we met Anna we all got on extremely well and we had no worries about leaving our pets in her safe hands. Anna gave them loads of fun time and company, lovely walks and snuggles in front of the TV. Thanks for all the fun we had before and after the sit too. We would not hesitate to recommend Anna for any sit.
What an amazing couple we had as pet sitters for our two dogs! You can truly feel their love for animals. Nancy sent pictures a couple of times letting us know that they were having fun also with our Cody and Carson! Our home was perfect when we got home. They even left a beautiful potted flower and card on our island in our kitchen. We highly recommend this couple! Jim & Wanda
Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!

Acton Critter Sitters has provided excellent care for my dog and cat. The staff is reliable, personable, and they have superb written communication skills. I recommend them wholeheartedly!
First let me say we are always impressed with how professional and courteous the staff are. Acton Critter Sitters has been taken care of our cats for 1 1/2 to 2 years now and we are always at ease when we leave our cats with them. One of our cats was sick and they took great care of him making sure he took his medication. They are great about giving us a message when they visit and telling us how things are going. I recommend them to everyone i know!
Extremely happy with their service for the past year! They have always been punctual and responsive (text and portal). The online portal is very easy to use. My pup requires insulin shots and other meds and a special food prep, and is a little antisocial, but the team handled it perfectly. They always followed the instructions down to re-filling the water bowl and using her harness, and Lisa even made a few friends during boarding. Much appreciation for Clare, Jen, and the rest of the team.
I've been with Acton Critter Sitters for over 5 years now, they are terrific and I highly recommend them. Entire staff is exceptional -- caring, reliable and skilled -- especially Carrie H. My dog is so well cared for!
Always available and very responsive. My cat can get a bit neurotic when I'm away, but he is always well taken care of when I call Sally. My sitter feeds him, cleans up everything (even puke!), scoops the litter box, spends a little time playing, and leaves a report card that always makes me feel better when I return. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for reliable help.
My dogs are always so happy to see everyone from Acton Critter sitter! They wait in anticipation by the window. It's so nice to know that they are so well cared for and loved when we are not around! I highly recommend them!
Great service! Fast response time and easy booking of services online which makes my life much easier. Pricing and care is unbelievable, the sitters go above and beyond the services rendered. I highly recommend their services and the company. They really care about the animals and their well being.
The nicest, the best. Wonderful communication and details and options. Online portal is fantastic as well as the sitters. We have been using them for years.
My pet rabbit died slowly and without medical treatment of any kind under their care. They failed to even realize the animal was ill despite the fact that she was unable to walk.
Wonderful dog walking service. Great people, very responsive and kind.
They were fantastic in accommodating us on short notice, and our dog had a wonderful time. Every staff member I met was super friendly and I could tell had such a passion for dogs. My dog had a wonderful time and was excited to spend his time there. I loved the photo updates each day which certainly showed my dog's enthusiasm!
Recently left my elderly dog and my 5 year old doodle. The doodle is highly allergic and takes daily meds to keep him from breaking out in hives. He’d also recently had a mystery injury on his foot that he was taking medication for. I was quite nervous dropping them off without ever having used PinkDog before. I had no need to be. When I picked them up after 5 days they were happy and healthy. The employee immediately knew my dogs and informed me that the foot was healing nicely. It was obvious they had handled the medication well and taken wonderful care of my boys. I really appreciate them! Will definitely use them again with confidence.
I picked up our pups after their grooming appointments and they were the cleanest, softest, fluffiest, and best smelling they have ever been! We’ve found our new groomer!!
Very warm and friendly environment and our dog Bones had a very happy stay his 2nd time around, they did a great job integrating him with dogs of his liking and energy level. Very clean too! Nice spot, see y'all over the summer!
Last week I left my 2 dog there for 5 days , while I went on a trip to Florida. When I went to pick my dogs up 5 days later they were so happy there and they told us they had a lot fun there and ate while we were gone which is good because my dogs get stressed easily . We got to bring their bed ,dry food, cans ,and treats and they write down everything you tell them to note down which is great. My dog really enjoyed it there and had an excellent experience. That is why I think this an excellent place and is a great place they also got to take a bath on the last day that they were there and they smelled amazing!
Great place to board your dog! We've always had good experiences with Pink Dog Grooming since the staff is so great. So, we decided to give their new boarding a try. While she doesn't love being left behind, our dog did very well and we know the staff is attentive and caring.
The staff is friendly but unorganized and they barely speak English. They have very little knowledge about dog breeds and temperaments beyond being small dog owners themselves. The dogs also only go out for 20 minutes a day maximum unless you pay $20 extra each day for daycare! Very inexperienced and unorganized, unlike the previous owner of the kennel.
We left our dogs for 2 weeks here, and they sent us pictures and took good care of them
Excellent experience! Easy to schedule, friendly staff and my pup looks fabulous!
We bring our Pug here and they take great care of him. He likes it there.
We love Alison and the crew at Country Canine! Our 2-year old Cattle Dog mix has been going there regularly for over a year and has the best time! The team is devoted, attentive, educated on dog behavior, and will love the heck out of your dog. Our dog would leave us for James tomorrow. We've also worked 1-on-1 with Alison and her training sessions have been transformational. We were first-time owners and feeling a bit lost. Alison's guidance made us more confident and connected with our dog. We highly recommend Alison and Country Canine!
My dog attended doggy daycare twice a week for 4 years. She loved country canine’s and we loved working with the staff. Fantastic experience, competitively priced and they even offer grooming in the summer.
I would have liked to give more stars but I absolutely can’t! And honestly, I’d give zero if I could. As a matter of fact, I have concerns for the other animals at this facility that attend daycare. Until recently, my dogs attended the daycare regularly before abruptly being dismissed with no prior information about his supposed “aggressive” instances. On two different occasions I received no phone call or update on either instances until 5 days after the original occurrence. Imagine my surprise as after each pick up or during drop offs I was told nothing more than “he loves it here or he’s great” to find out that he had been ‘aggressive’ towards another dog and he was no longer welcome back. Additionally, I was informed that he was tackled, sprayed with some sort of solution to calm him and kept in a crate for who knows how long. The head person, Allison, had minimal details about the events and when questioned her response was she can’t speak to that because she wasn’t the one present at the time. I don’t agree with how any part of this situation was handled, especially using brute force with a dog and using a crate as punishment when a dogs crate is a den and should be a safe haven. Had I known these types of things were taking place I would have never allowed my dog to partake in this inhumane facility. This company should be ashamed of themselves and may want to rethink the number of dogs they allow at the facility so that they get the correct attention they deserve or at the very least have someone who can make a phone call in a timely manner. I leave you with this, buyer beware!
We love country canine! Both of our dogs have been going here for the past two years and love it! They both go in happily and leave tired and relaxed after!
My dog Myla has been going here for about two months now. Can’t say enough good things! She comes home absolutely exhausted and I always get a report from the owner or staff about how her day went. As an overprotective dog mom who used to manage a different dog daycare facility, it is hard for me to fully trust staff and leave my baby somewhere, but with Alison and her staff, I know she is SO well taken care of and that they PAY ATTENTION! Alison is so knowledgeable and attentive and actually cares about the dog/staff ratio, so I know the environment is safe and controllable. I love that the are outside most of the time just able to be dogs! Myla is excited to make more friends here!! :)
Our dog Gunner has been at Country Canine for only 2 months, but I can't say enough great things! He has some anxiety issues, and the staff has always been quick to respond to any phone calls or emails I have sent. The facility itself is very simple, but I personally like that because dogs just don't want to have fun, they don't need a state of the art facility. The staff are obviously all huge dog lovers and really care about the work that they do! I knew we had made the right choice when three different individuals told us that they had been bringing their dogs for 10, 13, and 15 years respectively!
Alison is the best! We have a 5 month old lagotto, and was overwhelmed with his energy! Once we started training with Alison, we could channel all that energy to many constructive training sessions! Once started training with Alison, we were amazed how his behaviour has taken a 180 degree change in direction. We can now work sitting on the couch with him just being calm. His recall is so much better and nipping has come down drastically. Alison is supportive and very kind to our needs. Her suggestions had tremendously helped us modify puppy behavior. Our lagotti has been a happy puppy! Alison is the best out there and you CANNOT go wrong with her!
Annie Mae is my very young high energy "hound mix" rescue from Tennessee. I've never had her DNA tested, but I'm confident she's got a bit of Staffordshire Terrier in her genes ( or she's doing a good job at faking it ). I've got her on a regular 2-day per week schedule with Country Canine for nearly a year now and I couldn't be happier with the results. When I drop her off, she's jump-out-of-her-skin excited about it. And when I pick her up, she's all set for a solid nap. I'm also impressed with how they manage required vaccines, etc. for all dogs. So grateful/happy!
Country Canine takes excellent care of my insanely hyper dog, and have been doing so for over 5 years now. The price is very affordable (it's long gone up $4 in 5 years, at or below inflation) despite the fact that there are sometimes waitlists on certain days. It's a place where you will need to create a regular schedule and can't drop in last minute - they'll likely be at capacity. The people who work there are great & it's very clear that they care about all of the dogs. And my dog loves it. She gets excited when I tell her we're going, and despite being a 6 year old hyperactive spaniel, she always comes home and is content to just chill out or fall asleep at the end of the day.
I have been nothing but happy with CC dog care! The staff is wonderful, caring and knowledgeable, and my dog loves going there! He was an abused dog when I got him, but with the help of this team of professionals, he has learned to trust people and dogs. I highly recommend Country Canine!
We’ve used Palmer Kennel for many years, across multiple dogs. They are the best! We go out of our way to use them. The greatest endorsement is having our dog eagerly jump put of the car and run in happily without a backward glance. He loves “going to camp” at Palmer. The owners and staff are great, and really care about what they do.
I’ve been using Palmer Kennels for a few years now and this is the first place I’ve ever trusted to leave my dog! The owner and staff are amazing and kind. My dog is very excited to run back in every time I bring him. If you need a place you can trust your pup with - this is it!
My family has been coming here for decades. Our current dog enjoys her stays!
We left our dog here for a week. When we picked her up she had lost several pounds, and her bones were clearly showing through her skin. She smelled like old pee and her fur was very greasy despite the fact that we bathed her the day before dropping her off. I definitely won't be bringing her back. The only positive thing I can say (and the reason I'm not giving them 1 star) is that the facility was pretty clean, but the only part that they let customers see is the lobby, so take that with a grain of salt.
I boarded my beloved puppy - 8 months old and he was extremely well cared for, he was boarded in a nice warm kennel, able to come and go to go the bathroom. The place is clean, does not smell and it is warm. Since he was a puppy and not real familiar with other dogs, the owners allowed him to play with their dogs - so that it would be a safe situation. They are all very professional and very caring at Palmer Kennels. The owner comes through in the middle of the night to check on all the dogs. I am bringing my dog back again for another stay and I called to check to see if I should bring bones for him, they said no- that the dogs were given twice/day cookie treats. They are so caring and loving to all the dogs. You could not ask for a better place. After reading on the local papers of missing dogs that were boarded at private homes I am happy to know my dog is safe at Palmer Kennels.
This is the best place to board your dog. The staff is very friendly and they genuinely love pets. The property is well maintained and beautifully organized. The runners are of good size. The owner’s labs are adorable. It’s a short and pleasant drive from Cambridge. I strongly recommend this place. This is the third time I board my dog Penny here!
We have been boarding our 12 year old Brittany Spaniel at Palmer for over 10 years. The owners and staff has always been very attentive and professional. Bottom line they are dog people. They go out of their way to make my dogs visit as stress free as possible. Having checked out other kennels in the area, Palmer was by far the best option in my opinion.
Have used Palmer Kennels a few times now, with multiple dogs and I can easily say that they love it here as much as I do. My dogs have all been homebodies, but they recognize the building and the associates and I can't open the door fast enough for them once we arrive. They have all willingly walked in without so much as a whimper. Not sure if I should be the one whimpering. Regardless, everything about this kennel is great. Competitive pricing, and you get a lot for your money.
Palmer Kennels has always provided excellent boarding services for my dog. The staff is knowledgeable, accomodating, and friendly. I'm always greeted with a smile on arrival and Lucy is sad to leave when I return. Highly recommended A+++ service
My dogs are always happy to be dropped off here, and healthy when I pick them up. The staff usually seem bored and business-like. I would feel happier leaving a loved-one with someone who shows some interest and affection. But they seem to do a decent job.
