The perfect combination - Pets and Travel
We are new to trusted sitters and boy did we get lucky to find Kim and Laine! They spoiled our cats so much! Even bought them a toy and send pics and updates regularly which was so sweet. I could tell they actually cared about our fur babies and with how on top of everything they were - and had such amazing communication - I never had a single concern. Then we got home and WOW! They cleaned the house top to bottom! We had cleaners come before we left for them of course - and Kim and Laine did a better job then my cleaners do! Lol Literally took care of every detail, the most amazing house sitters ever. And the most loving and attentive pet sitters as well. We could not be happier. Thank you Kim and Laine! We hope you can sit for us again in the future.

Chris is the best!! Chris took amazing care of my two cats. My elderly, very shy kitty loves him. My playful, 7-year old one got individualized play -- Chris even brought some toys! Both were happy and relaxed when I returned home after a week away. Chris delighted me with videos of the cats. In addition to being wonderful with the pets, Chris is an incredibly respectful house guest. I found the place as it was, probably even cleaner! He even did the sheets which I had mentioned I'd launder when I get home. Chris is easy to communicate with, friendly, and just all around awesome.

We will Love Your Pets as Our Own
Patty and Luis were excellent sitters. Our girls Nebula and Arte were in great spirits and shape when we returned home to AK. They communicated with us daily updates on the girls and house while we were away. They left the house sparkling clean. We were able to coordinate an airport vehicle drop off as we got back the same day that they left. That worked out great, vehicle was in exact condition and really worked in our favor by not having to take a cab. Thoughtful, friendly and kind; Patty and Luis are welcome back anytime. We sooo appreciate the level of care and respect they gave our girls, home and truck!

Laura was an absolute gem when it came to caring for my furry friends and home. Her calm and quiet demeanor created a peaceful environment for my pets, and they seemed to instantly adore her. Laura was very reliable, friendly and self sufficient. Laura's experience with pets was evident in her interactions with my dogs and cats. She seemed to have a natural ability to connect with animals, almost like a pet whisperer. She was patient, gentle, and always ensured their well-being. My pets have never been so relaxed and calm after a sit. Trish, her husband Peter, and their adorable pup Snoker looked after our Boxer pub, Schoggi while we were away. We received frequent updates and photos from Trish. Schoggi was well cared for, and seems to have had a blast playing with Snoker. In addition to looking after Schoggi, Trish and Peter watered our plants, collected the mail and took care of trash disposal. We came home to a clean house, and healthy dog. I should also mention, Trish agreed to extend her stay when the sitter I had arranged to stay had to cancel. I highly recommend Trish and Peter to care for your pets and home.

Veniece and Rocco were excellent sitters for Hunter while I was away for a long weekend. They kept me updated with lots of photos and communication was extremely easy. They cleaned my apartment and sheets before leaving which made coming home easy on me and even left some Churu treats as a present for Hunter (which he loves!). I would happily have them sit again for me whenever I am out of town! 6 out of 5 stars!

Crystal was my first experience using zeewoi, and I couldn't be happier. She's reliable, responsible, and my dog absolutely adored her. Crystal was very thorough, asking all kinds of questions about things I forgot to put in the welcome guide, and left the house so clean you'd never know anyone stayed there. She was in contact with me throughout my trip, sending frequent updates and pics. I would (and will!) definitely welcome her back any time.

Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. I can’t say enough good things about Blue Mountain Dog Camp. We have trusted them with 3 of our dogs over the last 10 years. As big dog owners, it is hard to find a boarding facility with the space to let them run and owners that are confident and comfortable with these large breeds. Their camp has large enclosed runs that allow the dogs to play or find the space to rest. The home pick up service is easy and convenient. My dogs jump right in the pup truck without hesitation. Highly recommend! Give them a try
I have not had the need to board in a long time. Heading to Western North Carolina to assist in disaster areas. I came across Blue Mountain Dog Camp close by after not being too thrilled with others in my area. My boy is 7 month old Alaskan Malamute. If you know the breed, they can be a handful. A mere kennel with limited run would not do. We are outdoors active with hiking and running. I immediately was greeted with warm welcome from John and Ruth and instantly felt at ease. What a beautiful gem they have here. A horse barn/stalls converted into suites. Several outdoor runs. Theo had fenced acres to run and play in wooded area. The grounds and kennels are pristine. John even sent happy photos of my boy while i was away for 5 days. Very reasonable rates. I couldn't be happier. Upon return, while Theo greeted me with joyful glee, he was more than willing to stay!!! We will be using Blue Mountain Dog Camp often!!
My two dogs had another great stay at Blue Mountain Dog Camp. I use them every time I travel and my dogs do very well. The facilities are clean and well kept. The dogs have a lot of time outside and a lot of room with raised off the floor beds. I have been using them for years and never have been dissappointed.
Based off of the other reviews I decided to look at this facility for boarding my dogs. Unfortunately, we found out that they breed discriminate. Due to the breed of my dog, and one of them being older, the owner was not willing to board. Any boarding facility that is willing to breed discriminate is not a facility I would trust or recommend.
Have boarded our pups here a few times. I like that they can be boarded together. The property allows sufficient outdoor activity too! I like getting photos of my pups to release some stress of not seeing them when away. Nice touch John & Ruth. Also, have found the owners to be accommodating (funeral) and helpful. Highly recommend! My pups are my babies and family and sending them here is like leaving them with fur loving family members.
Blue Mountain Dog Camp took such good care of our 2 dogs while we were away for a week. We were very anxious about boarding our dogs for the first time, but all our worries went away when we met the owners and viewed the property. Our dogs loved their stay and will definitely be coming back! I would highly recommend Blue Mountain Dog Camp to anyone!
We love this place! The owners are amazing, our dog always has a wonderful time and the rates are very competitive. I always recommend them when someone is looking to board their dogs. We joke that Max gets his own vacation too!
