Dakota was everything we hoped she would be as a pet sitter. She is very experienced with the zeewoi expectations and fulfilled them all. We have a neighborhood park where many families walk their pets each day. Our three dogs are well-known in the neighborhood. Numerous neighbors commented to us about how friendly, knowledgeable and loving Dakota was with our dogs. We got a couple pictures of the dogs enjoying their walks and park time. The dogs were not stressed when we returned and greeted us warmly. The house was clean and neat. Dakota even washed the sheets on the bed and remade it for us. In every possible way, we are very pleased with Dakota as our house sitter. We hope she will want to return to stay with our fur balls during our travels in the future.

Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Absolutely amazing place for your pup to get some zoomies out! I took my dog here years ago & now with our new pup we needed a place to take her while we are either working or just wanted her to make & play with new fur friends. The staff is awesome & super friendly. The place the dogs with like minded pups as to keep the energy levels even. You can drop off for short periods of time or all day if needed which is nice. After Gizmo's first two days there she was so tired she fell asleep immediately in the car haha My little tasmanian devil was beat! She was so happy an excited. So happy she has some new fur friends to play with there. Definitely recommend
They took good care of our 16 yr old poodle mix. We think they gave her a lot of attention and she loved it! They soiled her!! We will board her with them next time.
We have a 11 month old berenese and she has been going to Linda, Beth and the staff at uppity ever since we got her. She loves to play with her friends and as sad as it sounds she never wants to leave 🤣 . My dog is well taken care of and loved and its a relief to not worry while I am at work.
My dog absolutely loves the day care. The first couple of visits she was iffy walking in but now she flies out of the car and is so excited to see her doggy and human friends. I don't worry about her at all while she's there.
There's an employee named Max that might look like an Alaskan Bushman somedays. But he's one of those people all dogs like they can tell who's good and who's evil. Plus he's my best friend so I know he's good. Anyway good place if you need dog baby sitter

Not recommend unless it’s your very last choice. For daycare: they use big area pens for bigger/smaller dogs which are good but the smell was HORRIBLE. Human can’t stand a second of that smell not to mention your pups. For boarding: the iron small cages they use it’s literally the same as PRISON. They claimed to put quiet dogs and louder dogs in two areas but the fact is the quiet areas are all crazily barking dogs (small&big). The iron cage is very small, and there’s no window, no air, no natural light, and also smell so bad. They are so short of staff. Two people in charge of ~10 daycare dogs, plus ~50 boarding dogs. If you can accept that, then you can choose their cheap price. If not, don’t go.
We boarded our dog here for 2 days/1 night while whitewater rafting in the area. We felt very misled. Our rescue pup is half pit bull and half other things. We had a long conversation with a worker guy here about her play style and told him her breed when we made the reservation. I also sent in the paperwork and her medical records in advance. We were assured that she would get to play with other dogs. We reiterated her play style when we dropped her off and were assured that all was good and the dogs' play was supervised. Then when we picked her up a different older woman told us that our dog didn't even get to play with other dogs at all b/c she was half partially pit bull. Apparently, she only got one-on-one time with humans but never got to play with anyone. If this is the place's policy, they should have told us that when we made the booking or dropped her off and continued to talk to them about play time. Not led us to believe she was getting play time or at least a chance to take a temperament test and see if she got along with the others in boarding. Yet another example of unfounded pit bull discrimination in California. It's fine if that's he facility's policy..that's their choice. But I just wished they would have told us and not made it a surprise at pick up. If we knew this policy, we would have looked for another boarding facility b/c our pup deserves at least a chance to play. A generous 3 stars only since it seems that she was fed properly and returned to us with no injuries and the price is good for the area .
Our pups had their first ever boarding experience at Uppity Pup. They stayed 5 days and while happy to see us upon our return they were also clearly well taken care of and happy with the staff.

We just got back from a trip and even though it was a short trip Amanda was amazing. She communicated each day. My house was left clean and my animals were happy and well taken care of. Our family hired Amanda to watch our two dachshunds and two rabbits. She is kind, completely understands animal behaviors, and is very punctual. She scheduled a “meet and greet” for our furbabies and set up convenient sitting times. Amanda is trustworthy, professional and friendly to our children and pets. She provided us with a detailed contract that outlined everything for the sitting. We will definitely be hiring her again!

We get daily updates and photos of Max and do not worry about him or our home when Deb is sitting for us. This eliminates a lot of stress. Debbie worked as a vet assistant locally for years. She knows local veterinarians and pet hospitals. She is very knowledgeable with medications and special foods. Deb is trustworthy and dependable. Great with communication. Our cat is very well cared for when we are away.

My dog is an active husky and slightly timid/anxious without me around. After a recent escape adventure from a friends house, I was really nervous to board him anywhere but had to leave someone suddenly for a family emergency. I was so lucky that Gina had space, as Dogwoods Resort was the only place I was really willing to consider. Gina is so good with the dogs, and the property is absolutely perfect, with large fenced areas for them to run around. Being a helicopter mom, I went in for a meet and greet before our reservation and after seeing the place and meeting Gina, any concerns I may have had were put at ease knowing that my dog would be safe, have lots of room to play, and could be social with other dogs. He came home dirty, tired and happy and that is exactly what I wanted for my pup. I know it can be hard to get a booking, but I understand why - I wouldn’t want to leave my dog anywhere else. Can’t recommend this place enough.
I have been taking my dogs to Dog Woods for at least 10 years. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. The property is beautiful and I know Grizzly is being well cared for and having fun all day with the other dogs. When he comes home he sleeps for hours. It is not your typical daycare. Gina does a really fantastic job. Communication is excellent and it's easy to book a reservation. Grizzly loves Dog Woods. He will be back often.

I have brought my Great Dane here many times, Gina takes amazing care of my dogs, and all of the dogs in her care. Easy booking, great communication, and lovely facility. If your dog needs a place to have fun while you’re on vacation this is the place to go.
Our pups have stayed with Dog Woods several times over a couple of years. We have a rescue that is overly cautious of new people, but is excited every time we pull up to the Resort. Moose, Pua, and their humans 100% recommend.
Great place for our two dogs to have a vacation while we were on vacation. Beautiful open space for the dogs to roam, play and run. Our dogs were well cared for, communication was superb, and the web service for scheduling, notifications, and overall ease of use for us was fabulous. My pup Gideon LOVES DWR! He gets SO excited every time we pull up to the property and shows Gina all kinds of love when he see's her. His humans love DWR too! Booking his visits is super easy and the communications around confirmations, payment, etc. is fantastic! DWR is PAWSOME!
Dogwoods is unlike the normal commercial dog boarding places. Your dog is not just another $ sign here. They take the time to get to know their clients and the clients parents. Dogwoods also makes accommodations for dogs with special needs and senior dogs who need a little more attention. You can rest, assured your dog will be in great hands and allow to enjoy your vacation knowing your dog go is having a blast and is being well cared for!
Dog Woods Resort is beautiful, the kennels are extremely roomy and Theresa is really nice. My dogs haven't been boarded much and didn't get the full experience due to them being nervous, but they still came home with the "Dog Woods Coma". I'm already planning my furbabies next vacation up at Dog Woods Resort.

In response to being told you are you are libelling me: I think using a business that is meant to be caring for animals to cause upset and attempt intimidation by cyber stalking is very worrying, not the sort of person I would trust with a houseplant let alone a treasured family pet. I had no idea this review thing existed until it was pointed out that my name and where I live had been used here but you know all about me? If I had known and left you a duff review I would have been much more created and used a much funnier name like say Thomas McPoopscooper and given you more than a three word explanation of why you are so awful but I didn't because it wasn't me. I think you should stop lying now, no one cares about you or what you do until you draw attention to innocent people who want zero to do with you. I will be seeking legal advice.
