I would highly recommend FurKids PA to anyone who is looking to have their animals cared for. Karen has been walking my dog several times a week for going on two years now and I feel totally at ease knowing that she is watching after him when I can't be home. She always texts when she leaves my house to let me know that he has been taken care of and often even sends pictures which makes me smile. I am very particular about who I leave the care of my dog to and I know that Karen takes care of him just like I would. I would without a doubt recommend FurKids PA to anyone who is looking to have their "furry kids" looked after.

Karen is the best! She takes such wonderful care of my furry friends! I feel so comfortable knowing that they're in such caring hands when I am not there. My two dogs and cat love her! She spends quality time playing with them and gives them great exercise. She sends the cutest photos and update texts to let me know how they're doing. I had Karen from FurKidsPA care for my cats while I was away. She came when expected, and always sent me pictures and updates. Any time I had a question, I heard back from her quickly. Fantastic service, and I'll be using FurKidsPA again.

Where do I begin with this review? Since moving to the area as a single person with no relatives around, I needed someone to help me with my puggle while I was at work. After meeting with two other people I decided Karen was the best option. Over the course of the last two years, I switched jobs a few times with different schedules. Karen was always able to accommodate us. Sometimes I needed her help in the evening or sometimes early in the morning. Regardless, she was always able to help, I am sure it wasn’t always easy for her but she made it work for me (thanks Karen!). Currently, Karen stops by Monday through Friday weekly and neither my pup nor I would want it any other way. My boy also loves his Karen time. He loves when she comes to visit, sometimes I feel like he’s looking for her at her normal time even when I am home. I also enjoy the pictures she sends me from their meet ups. This isn’t just a job to Karen , she really loves coming to see my boy. Part of me did not want to write a review. Reason being, I thoroughly enjoy Karen being a secret only a select few know about. However, due to how wonderful of a person and worker she is, I have to help spread the word of FurKids of PA. Your pets will be happy as will you.

Karen at Fur Kids is an amazing pet sitter! We've been using her for more than 7 years. She's cared for our cats, our fish, and even our hamster! She always goes above and beyond to make sure our property is cared for while we are away, from bringing in the mail to watering the plants! Karen has bought treats when we've run out, fixed our cat feeder, and several times has extended her services for additional days with little notice when our trips have run long. She's incredible! Being fully insured and sending us pictures of our pets daily let's us feel totally comfortable while we're away. Worth every penny! Jen & Cody

Karen is wonderful! She's taken care of our three dogs when we were out of town and takes them on their regular walks as well. The pups always complete their walks with big smiles on their faces and they sense, as I do, that she is a real dog person and cares for them and all animals which is very important to us. Karen is professional and conscientious. She texted me pics of our pups when we were away and she sends updates on how they are doing which sets our minds at ease. I highly recommend her.

My beasties (2 cats) are my babies and when my friend who took care of them for me moved away, I didn't know what I was going to do. Karen is amazing. We received daily texts letting us know how each visit went. When we came home, both cats were happy, content and very well cared for. Now, when we have to travel, we can do so secure because we know there is someone taking care of them who really cares about the animals she watches. Highly recommend!

Michelle was wonderful with our Buddy. It was the first time taking him there. She was so caring with him. First time being away from him was hard. But when she texted me to say he is doing good,I knew it was ok. Thank you again.

I am not usually one to leave a negative review however my experience was very unprofessional. I called to book 2 months prior and the owner said that there was availability and she would add us in. Fast forward to now, I had questions regarding my dogs stay. After many failed phone call attempts I finally got in touch and had a quick conversation. 3 minutes later I received a text message from the owners number stating “sorry I am booked”. I responded to confirm she was replying to the correct costumer, since we had just spoke on the phone. I had no response. 5 days away from a family trip and now no care for our dog. Not even a reply with an apology. Completely unorganized and unprofessional.

Michelle is amazing! Our dog gets so excited when we get close to her house. We get her nails groomed monthly and leave her for our summer vacation. Michelle is so kind and friendly and always accommodating.

Michelle does a great job. Neither of my dogs are the easiest to work with, and they are always treated well and look great when they are done. I can tell she genuinely cares about the comfort and well being of my dogs.

Michelle is wonderful with our babies. They come home smelling fresh for a week or more. They are always happy to go, no sign of nerves so it's always comforting knowing they are in the best hands. We love getting a photo of our fur babies when they are ready for pick up! I highly recommend Pretty Paws Too and are glad to have them in our area.

Melissa cares a great deal for the pets entrusted to her for care. She did an amazing job with our "skittish" very untrusting, nervous dog. She gave us updates as we were away for a week and even bathed her prior to us picking her up. We will be using her again for our next vacation.

My dog Buckley is 12 years old and has never stayed with anyone except my brother. I was concerned he would be unhappy and worried staying anywhere else. He was very content and happy with Kat at Barks & Parks and seemed to bond with them right away. She sent pictures every day and updated me as to what she was doing with him. I felt very good knowing he was being taken care of and enjoying his stay. I would recommend Kat to give your fur baby a home atmosphere while you are away.

Kat was amazing with Noah during his 3-day boarding. I was immediately comforted when talking to her the first time, hearing about her experience and ambition in transitioning to animal care full-time. Her place was clean, spacious, with a quaint outdoor patio. Noah has separation anxiety so I was very nervous and picky about where he would stay. He was wagging his tail and happy when we picked him up. A 5-star experience! Thanks Kat!

This was our first time boarding our furbaby, Nala, so we were naturally a bit nervous. From the first moment we met Kat, she put us at ease and left us with the impression that she would love on our dog..and we were right! Every day, she followed our instructions and suggestions to a “T”; taking our dog on two walks a day, spoiling her rotten. I think Nala still misses her! 😂 if we are in need of boarding again, Kat will be our first choice and would highly recommend Barks&Parks Pet Services!

Kat took care of my dog as part of her doggie daycare service. She kindly both picked him up and brought him back to my home. While under her care they took several walks, and she shared pictures via a dog sitting app, which was awesome. When my pup returned, he was was happy and clearly had a great time. Our dogs love Kat and her boyfriend. One of our dogs gets excited anytime she gets in the car now, thinking she’s headed to daycare. I have dealt with Kat for a few months now. She is so loving with my dogs and they love her. She’s very professional and I love the way she sends pictures after taking my dogs for a walk. 5 STARS!!! VERY Happy with this service! My dog Deanna is 10.5 yrs old and recently started having seizures (in March of 2022). We went on vacation in May and booked her with a local kennel (NOT this one). I couldn't confirm that they were or were not giving her her seizure meds, as when we returned & picked her up she had a seizure that night and several more a day afterward. Needless to say when it came time to go to Lancaster PA for a vacation in July which is 2.5 hrs from home, I was VERY worried on where I would leave her and what I would do if something should happen. THEN I found Barks & Parks Pet Services!! We drove out, dropped her off with Kat, and then went to our hotel which was 10 minutes away! Talk about convenience! Deanna had a WONDERFUL TIME there!!! She got along with the other dogs (which is not the norm!). When I first dropper her off the 1st day she seemed apprehensive which I expected. I did NOT expect to hear how well she was getting along with her new friends and how after a few days was fitting right in to her old routine! I wish I could leave her there ANY time we go away! This is a WONDERFUL alternative to a regular kennel. It is a regular house, where the dogs are in a more home-like environment as opposed to in a kennel. I highly recommend barks & parks!!

Kat’s service through Barks & Parks was exceptional!! Our little dog was walked and cared for so well, we were afraid she wouldn’t want to come home. We received twice daily updates on how she was doing along with the cutest pictures. We were incredibly pleased with Barks and Parks and would definitely use this home-like dog boarding service again!!!.

My puppy had a great time at Doggy Strides! Cayce has a beautiful home and property with special areas for the doggies to play and sleep. She was so sweet and patient with my puppy and sent photos and updates throughout the stay. There were a few other dogs there at the time so my puppy got to make new friends too. I can't recommend it enough!

Cayce and her family are great. I was nervous about having to board our Collie when away. Reading reviews on Doggy Strides I was impressed on the 5 star reviews. I was not let down at all. This isn’t a kennel… oh no, that is a derogatory word for this service! This is a full service family doggie resort with a beautiful property and home. We had an awesome experience with Doggy Strides! We had a last minute trip and needed overnight care for our 5 month old pup at short notice. Doggy Strides was highly recommended and now I know why! Cayce was super sweet and professional. We scheduled a visit to get to know Mila before the trip and discuss details. During our trip, we received periodic updates and pictures which helped us feel more at ease. Mila was well cared for while we were away and as an unexpected bonus, has been behaving better (at least my husband seems to think so 😂). We will definitely be a long term Doggy Strides customer.

We had our one and a half year old Golden Retriever (Harper) stay at Doggy Strides for eight days while we were away on vacation. I truly love my dog with all my entire heart, so finding a great place for her was super important to me. I began researching boarding locations about three months before our trip. I found some local non-crated boarding locations that had good Google reviews in my area; however, they would not accommodate large dogs. I did not want Harper locked up in a crate for most of the day. I was also considering an in-home service, but Harper is active and having someone over to our house a few times a day would not meet her required level of energy. I looked on the Main Line at very expensive boarding locations that had different add-on packages (swimming, doggy day care, daily updates, 15 minute one-on-one time). I did not get the feeling (especially based on the add-on packages) that Harper would truly be loved and cared for. I found Doggy Strides at the recommendation of our dog trainer. Cayce has been amazing to work with. Her home is a loving and active location for Harper. Harper had an amazing time while we were away, and I felt confident she was in great care. She has been sleeping all day today from all her play time at Doggy Strides. I am truly thankful I found Cayce and her family and will use her for future vacations. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the service she provides. You can truly tell she cares about animals. Knowing Harper was in her and her family’s loving care made my vacation all that much better. If you love your dog, consider checking out Doggy Strides. I was a little hesitant at first to have to board my seven month old puppy-- she's very attached to me and has anxiety, so I wasn't sure what to expect! But, I'm so glad I found Cayce and Doggy Strides. We did a tour to see the place and have my puppy get introduced. We then did an overnight test and it went great! So great that I had no hesitations about having Cayce watch my pup while I went away on vacation about a month later. I looked forward to Cayce's daily (p)updates with photos to give me peace of mind that my pup is in the best hands while I am away.

We had a wonderful experience with Doggy Strides! We were very nervous to leave our dog so soon after we adopted him. We had the BEST experience leaving our sweet little 8 month old puppy girl Ori with Cayce!! Cayce has a wonderful personality & lovely family. We left Ori for 9 nights…while we went on vacation! We were very much at ease to do it. Reason being…we did a trial. We did (2) 1/2 days & 1 overnight to ease our minds. She had a great time & was so happy!! Ori got to meet other friendly dogs & made human friends too! We knew it would be a great decision to leave Ori with Cayce for 9 nights. Doggy Strides’ environment is VERY clean & welcoming! Cayce is very organized! She fed & administered Ori’s daily requirements with no problems. I portioned off Ori’s food & supplements in baggies to simplify her daily feeding. As you can see Ori is white…we feared that she would be VERY dirty when we returned home. Ori was just as white when we returned home! ♥️ We had NO issues at all…once we were back home! Ori was healthy and was drinking, eating, & pooping just fine. Ori transitioned well back in her own environment with us! Cayce we are so happy we found you!! 🐶💖🐾

Mende is reliable, loving, and understanding. She has been walking my dog Max for about a year now and I can always trust her to be communicative, show up consistently, make sure that Max is safe, and show him love as if he is her own. I love receiving pictures and updates from her on their walks, and she’s flexible if timing needs to be changed or if there’s a special request (like to feed him after his walk). I love that I have someone I can trust to care for Max when I’m at work during the day so I don’t have to worry. Mende has also watched Max overnight once as well, which was great experience.

Mende is great! She has taken care of our dog, Wrigley, several times; she is communicative and easy to get in touch with. As hard evidence: My wife and I got married in Prospect Park, and entrusted Mende to bring Wrigley over for post-wedding photos.

We contacted Pawwws Aboard to see if they were able/willing to watch a mini pig. Jazmin stated she had never done it but was willing to try. She came to meet him and we all felt comfortable so we booked her for 2 visits a day while we were away. She has fair pricing with multiple ways to pay. She was very communicative while we were away and sent pictures, videos, and updates during each visit. We felt at ease knowing she was there taking care of our pig. Will definitely use Pawwws Aboard again for future trips if she’s available

She is an awesome puppy sitter!! I will definitely be using her the next time my husband and I go on vacation! She sent us videos everyday for updates on our little one and she was always happy and playing. She showed our Frenchie lots of love and attention. I had a pause in my need for a pet sitter during the past year. We just did a camping trip and needed to board our fur babies. Even though we moved further away from Jazmin, I thought of her first. She responded quickly that she had an opening and during our trip she sent pictures of Emma playing with a toy and Lingling playing with the puppy, Beauty. I knew they were in good hands!

We love Howls and Meows! Colleen takes care of Harper like she’s one of her own. Harper starts to bark as soon as she’s pulling in the driveway and never has any hesitation when we leave. Colleen is responsive, sends us pics/videos and has a great Instagram account where we see can what’s happening with our pup while we’re away. Best thing is that Harper always has a friend at Howls and Meows like Squeegie and Biggie Paws :-)

We were initially looking for a place to bring our puppy for overnight boarding that didn't seem like 'doggie jail', and we have been so happy with Howls and Meows! Our crazy dog is definitely more comfortable in their home-like environment than she would be in a kennel. The pricing makes sense, and the business owner has consistently taken great care of our girl when we are out of town. Their flexibility for boarding, overnight in-home sitting, and ability to care for our cats when needed makes it an easy choice!

I have two cats Laverne and Shirley. Colleen is absolutely fantastic! She is always available and very professional. Whenever she is pet sitting she always texts me videos and pictures. She also lets me know how my girls are doing. My one cat Vern is very shy and hides when anyone comes over. Colleen was able to build a relationship with Vern so that she is comfortable. My girls love her! I highly recommend using Colleen and her company for your pet sitting needs!

Howls and Meows and Colleen always take great care of our dog Nelson. There are always other dogs to play with and plenty of space to run around. Highly recommend!

Colleen is wonderful with our dog, Bruce! He’s a 2 year old lab mix who is full of energy and needs plenty of play time. He gets so excited the minute we pull up to her house- he loves going there! Best of all, Colleen has been such a help as we recently found out Bruce has epilepsy. She was right there with us sending suggestions and advice from her years of experience with similar dogs. She’s one of the few people we feel comfortable caring for him when we are away. I know she monitors his medicine schedule and makes sure he’s comfortable in a large crate in case he has a seizure at night. She really goes above and beyond for her clients. You can tell she cares for the animals as if they were her own pets!

Colleen and her business has been such an absolute blessing to our family since we brought our puppy home two months ago. As my father in law says, "She's like the Mary Poppins of dog walkers!" Colleen radiates positivity and kindness and I think she adores our puppy just as much as he loves her. Not only is Colleen always dependable she reliable, she has wonderful communication in updates for our puppy, goes above and beyond by setting up puppy playdates, and has even helped out with little things around the house while she's over (bringing up trashcans, cleaning up after the cat--- she's simply amazing). A couple weeks ago we had a family medical emergency. Colleen was so compassionate and incredible. She came back after her normal hours, packed up our puppy and his things, and boarded him at her place for a few days while we dealt with our emergency. Never did she ask for specifics on when I would be picking up our dog, or bog us and down with questions and demands. We just felt understanding and care from her, and it was such a relief knowing our puppy was in the best hands and we didn't need to worry about a thing. She even sent cute little photo updates on our puppy that were a silver lining in a otherwise very bad time for us! We are so beyond happy with Howls & Meows and can't recommend them enough. Give it a shot and see just how quickly Colleen becomes more than just a dog walker, but a part of your family!

We found Colleen through a Google search, gave her a call, and based on her knowledge, experience, and confidence, we decided to try it out. We went and met with her, saw her home and yard, and were reassured this would be much better than leaving our puppy at a kennel. We were right. She's great, a pack leader so our dog is always safe, and just a nice person. Her rates are reasonable and our dog always comes home happy and tired.

Colleen has gone above and beyond taking care of our Frenchie while we were away. She truly treats these dogs as if they were her own. This was our first time leaving our pup and she checked in everyday, communicated about necessary things, and just gave our dog so much love. Can’t recommend her enough!!

We love the service Colleen provides through Howls and Meows Pet Sitting for our dog, whom she walks every day. Colleen is professional, communicative, super reliable, flexible, honest, and LOVES pets, especially our dog. We work and our dog is often home alone during the day. It's a huge relief to know that our dog will get some TLC during the day. I love that Colleen sends a note after every visit. Hire her! You'll wonder why you ever dealt with other dog walkers or pet sitters.

Colleen is great. She's really in tune with reading dog body language and genuinely loves dogs. She will set up a meet and greet with your dog and hers to make sure everyone will get along. I ended up really appreciating this part, as it made me feel a lot better about leaving my 10 month old puppy for a week. My puppy was actually excited to be dropped off afterwards, because she was excited to play with her new friend Squeegee. She was really responsive and the rates were reasonable. I would definitely take my dog here again.

I have used Happy Trails services a few times now. They have been wonderful with my dog. Although super sweet, she has some issues. They have worked well with her and followed my requests. What’s also great, is that I receive an email after her visit of how she was and what they did. I also was sent pictures. I’m thrilled I found Happy Trails and any one who uses them would feel the same way!! I highly recommend them!!!

We can’t thank Steph and her amazing team for taking such great care of our 2 pups while we were away on vacation. Our 2 dogs are use to always being with family when we’re away. Happy Trails is amazing!! My kids and I were away and Steph Brown’s pet sitters not only took such great care of our dog but I got photos and updates each time!! They brought my mail in, took care of my garbage cans. I am super impressed and will definitely use them again and recommend to others. Happy Trails is the best! It can be so stressful leaving pets behind but I never have a single worry knowing they’ll be here taking care of my fur babies. From fish to cats, dogs, chickens etc. they do it all. They even made sure my wilting plant was watered. Everything was sparkling clean and all pets were happy and healthy when I arrived home. I didn’t have any stress coming home from my trip because there was nothing to catch up on - it was all done! I have recommended them in the past and will continue to do so. They are amazing.

Happy Trails took the best care of our Storm girl while we were away on vacation. We’ve always boarded her in the past while away and she’s never really thrived in those environments. She’s always stressed herself out to the point of getting sick and coming home to a sick pup is never fun for anyone. Steph and her team were on top of everything…super communicative, responsive, followed all instructions and most importantly took great care of our pup. I’ll for sure be using them again when we go away!

We have worked with Julie and her team for more than three years. They have been consistently excellent with our dog and very reliable in terms of pick up and drop off arrangements. It is clear that they have spoiled our dog every time we pick him up!

We have had a great experience from everything to pre-meeting our host families to logistics including drop off, pick up and payment. What a great experience ! We had to go out of town and I was so stressed out because our usual dog sitter was on vacation, I called Julie because I needed someone the next day , Julie was so helpful she found us someone right away, she paired our dog Millie with Judy who was also absolutely amazing , Millie stayed with with Judy for three nights. Julie and her team are not only professionals they are true animal lovers. Our sitter Alex went out his way to make our shy dog comfortable! Our house was kept clean and organized and our pets were calm and happy when we got home!!

Julie has been helping me find a friendly, loving, comfortable home for my dog Rocky for the past six years. It makes taking a trip so easy. I never worry about Rocky when we are out of town. He is cared for just as he would be in his own home. He has stayed with a few different families over the past years and each one has been wonderful! Sharing lots of pictures and letting him snuggle next to them on the couch just like he enjoys doing with us at home. Julie knows what she is doing and offers a valuable service!

We are very happy with the family Julie placed us with. We continue to drop off our dog, Boomer, with them when we travel. We have gone on 3 trips and have already booked them for a trip in September. The family is very nice and takes great care of Boomer. We highly recommend Julie and her boarding business.

The best boarding option for your dog. Our dog Boris has stayed multiple times and it’s a relief to be able to go away knowing he is in excellent hands. By staying in a loving home with outdoor space and sometimes other furry friends to hand out with we know he is having a wonderful time. He loves it so much it’s like a vacation for the dog!
