Fabulous, Faultless Five Star sitters! We were treated to daily photos, videos and anecdotes about our much loved pet, which our whole family could access, and we had absolute confidence that our dog was being loved and cared for as always. It was as if a family member was at home. Local friends saw them out on walks and our dog always looked happy, under control and well cared for. We didn’t meet this lovely couple unfortunately, but they were totally reliable and communicated efficiently to advise of their arrival and departure times, they are super organised and didn’t ask any unnecessary questions. The house was spotless on our return despite the fact our dog moults at this time of the year, all areas were thoroughly clean and tidy, and we had a helpful handover note. We couldn’t have asked for more, and don’t hesitate to recommend Claire & Mike!

This was always going to be a difficult sit looking after 2 very mischievous 5 month old kittens but we had a really good video call with Viv so we were confident that everything would be fine. Then on the day that Viv & Graham arrived one of the kittens got sick and had to go into hospital for 2 nights meaning we had to cancel our departure. Viv & Graham very totally calm about this and just checked themselves into an Airbnb for a couple of nights. They were due to come back to our house after that as we were leaving early in the morning on newly booked flights and then our water main exploded leaving us with no water. Once again this was no problem to Viv & Graham and they found themselves somewhere to stay for another night. We finally got away 4 days late and from that moment on everything was plain sailing. Viv sent us photos and videos of the kittens every day, as we had requested. Graham fixed a big sunshade that had fallen down and the cats got lots of love and attention. We came back to happy, healthy cats, a spotlessly clean house and a delicious traybake. We would happily have Viv & Graham back to sit for us again and highly recommend them to anyone else.

Jon looked after Jenny & Billy our two dogs while we were away for 10 days. This is the 2nd time Jon has house sat for us and, as before he was fabulous! Jon’s care for our dogs is second to none. He is reliable and communicates well, letting us know what time he will arrive etc. We arrived home to happy calm dogs (Jenny, our collie cross can be nervous and anxious) they clearly enjoy Jon’s company. Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.

Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!

We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.

I felt totally confident in leaving Darcy and my house in Elaine’s care and I returned to a very contended dog and a perfectly clean and tidy house. Elaine arrived the day before I left so I was able to get to know her and enjoy an evening meal with her before my very early flight. We kept in contact while I was away via WhatsApp and I was happy to see photos of Darcy relaxing in her usual favourite places. It was lovely to be welcomed back home after my holiday by a very well looked after dog and it was so nice that Elaine was here to welcome me and had the lamps on, flowers in vases and a meal in the oven. We have been using Sophies Pet Care since August for our 2 dogs, Scooby and Bentley. We do a lot of the dog walking but they do 3 walks a week and both dogs love it. They are extremely professional with a very good team of nannies working for them. I have used them for quite a few years now and both my dogs absolutely love going to stay with them and their nannies. Sophie takes on board all their traits, likes and dislikes so they are looked after the same as I would look after them. We have recently been having our young boy Lab (20 months) walked with Sophie's Pet Care 3 times a week. He thoroughly enjoys the forest walks and, as he is being walked with other dogs, it has really helped with his dog socialisation.
Thank you ever so much for taking such good care of our cats and guinea pig. We have been away and we're always nervous of leaving them in a cattery, but Sophie's Pet Care came twice a day, in the comfort of our fur babies own home. Other reviews seem favourable hence why we chose Sophies to look after our cat and fish while we were away. Wish we hadn't bothered now as we ended up over £600 out of pocket. Could not manage to empty a litter tray correctly just removing the solids and tops of clumped litter meaning the entire bottom layer of litter was solid. This resulted in her refusing to use the tray and peed on our bed instead. Depite trying to get it cleaned and using enzyme cleaners the mattress could not be saved and had to be replaced at a cost of over £600. The scoop was right next to the tray, no attempt was made to contact us (we were in the UK and both mobile numbers were provided). I know the response from the owners will cite "stress" but I strongly refute this - she has never peed anywhere but the tray in her 7 years even when we had new central heating replaced by several plumbers, storms, fireworks etc etc. Yes, we were given a refund for the £65 we paid out but that didn't even cover the cost of trying to save the mattress. Overall the service was a huge disappointment and an expensive lesson. Might I suggest you stick to walking dogs?
Sophie's Pet Care have been so helpful over the last couple of years since I have been using them for dog walks. They always manage to fit us in when I need help at the last minute. We used Charlotte at Homers hounds whilst on a mini break when we went out for the day and couldn't take the dog. Charlotte couldn't have put us more at ease. Charlotte at Homer's Hounds looked after our 2 year old golden retriever whilst we actually got married! Timber has never been looked after by anyone else due to being a lockdown pup and Charlotte couldn't have put us more at ease. We were able to enjoy our wedding day knowing he was in the best hands. A truly wonderful place to board your dog in such a beautiful private setting and safe, secure surroundings. Our dogs absolutely love it, they howl with excitement as we turn into the lane leading to Barkers, they leap out of the car and don’t look back! They completely adore Jamie and her wonderful walks, she is totally professional, so kind and capable and we feel a huge relief knowing that they’re in her competent hands whilst we’re away. Archie's been going to Barkers twice a week for day care and regular sleep over's for 5 years now and he loves it! There's not even a backward glance when we drop him off. Barkers is the best dog care we have ever used. Jamie has provided a place for our Springer Spaniel on numerous occasions and each visit has been extremely positive. Our springer literally bounces out of the car when we arrive and quickly settles in. The care provided is exceptional and we would highly recommend Barkers for either day or boarding. It is home away from home for dogs.

When we visited the enclosure some months ago it was tatty and uncared for, even dangerous eg a broken patio chair that could have caused you to fall backwards if you had sat on it, lots of weeds in a rowing boat that was supposed to be a flower bed. There were balls of fluff from a tumble drier in a shed off the side of the paddock that our dog might have eaten and some other rubbish lying around on the grass. There was a multi-level structure that the dog could climb up which reached about head height. When our dog was at the top I was horrified that he then jumped off sideways rather then follow the boards safely down and he could have done a lot of damage to himself with such a huge jump. We didn't feel comfortable because there was a man in a nearby caravan who could watch us. Then we discovered broken glass in the middle of the field and we wanted to leave immediately but felt intimidated by the man, so stayed another five minutes then we were out of there and will never return. It was reported to NFDC with photographs.
We had a trip to New forest and wanted a day out were we could take our little pocket rocket with us. Booked him and felt completely comfortable on arrival seeing the other pooches getting on so well 😊🐶 he had a great day and was exhausted through all the play. Would 100 percent use them again and can't recommend enough! Many thanks me and Boris 😊🐶
Used the secure enclosure a little while ago. There were a bunch of half eaten balls that our dog tried to scoff, aswell as a lady in the house next door going absolutely ballistic at a dog (I really hope that's not where the boarding is...). Won't be back.
