Responsible and compassionate animal companion. Former pet foster parent, curren
Betsy was amazing. From the first phone call to finishing the sit everything was perfect. We returned to a very happy Tom and a beautiful clean home. Tom was completely spoilt while we were away and is missing Betsy. Communication was superb with regular pictures and updates. If you ever have the chance of having Betsy sit for you. Jump at the chance. We highly recommend her and will have her back anytime.

Yvonne was just great. She was wonderful with the dogs, and the house was immaculate when I returned. I hope that she will come again.

Full time traveler experienced in caring for rescue dogs and cats.
I am so fortunate to have found Alanna to take care of my cat while I went on a nine week trip to Mexico in my van. My cat was a little more complicated to care for because he was diagnosed with IBD just before I left. He thrived under Alanna’s care. He almost gained a full pound while I was gone, which is amazing for a cat with this diagnosis. It’s speak volumes about Alanna as a care provider. She was 100% attentive to all of his needs. She sent me pictures and communicated with me almost daily. I really can’t say enough good about her. She was neat and clean and took such great care of my condo, which is a second home, that she is welcome to come back anytime to stay if she wants to vacation in Seattle. I think my cat misses her. I’m POSITIVE that I miss her. I hope to see her again in the near future!

I'm thoughtful, tidy and kind. Great with pets, farm animals and plants too!
I can’t say enough good things about Losida. She was on top of everything, kind, tidy, fun, and took excellent care of our dogs and house.

Compassionate, energetic and loving care provider
Responsible, reliable, friendly, helpful, resourceful. Some (understandable) family matters may have precluded a chance for her to replace linens (no time for them to dry) and perform a final vacuum in her spaces, but everything else was spotless. Probably tmi; in truth, I completely recommend Claudia and would be happy to see her back again.

Trustable Teachers
We were delighted to find Lisa and Julie for a sort sit to care for our two Standard Poodles, Maggie and Millie. They had no problems dealing with Maggie's meds and mobility issues, kept the house spotless and sent pix of the girls to us. We were especially grateful for their flexibility when we had so move up their arrival time by more than an hour. They are are just wonderful!

Responsible, young professional.
Wesley was our very first exposure to zeewoi and he certainly did not disappoint! What a great experience. We felt safe being gone for almost 20 days while our Leo was in excellent hands. Wesley was excellent at communicating, sending photos of Leo and even describing some of their activities, which made our vacation that much better. He also shared with us that he was enjoying the town and our restaurants which made us happy to know he was doing well himself. Wesley, not only kept Leo happy and well exercised (our mail man said they walked as much as he does every day!) but he also kept our plants alive and kept the house spotless. He even went as far as washing his linens and remaking his room! Definitely a star pet sitter, and I certainly hope he will consider staying with Leo again.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.
Kate was an absolute dream and was the best pet sitter I could have possibly asked for! Kate was extremely trustworthy, communicative, and reliable, and provided frequent updates while I was away. She left my apartment spotlessly clean and even took the initiative to fix my wobbly towel bar. Finally, Kate took excellent care of my cat Daisy and I came home to a happy and content cat! Kate was amazing all around and I would be thrilled to have her sit for me again at any time. Thanks for everything!
Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.
Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.
Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. I'd recommend Angela and will definitely include her as one of our top sitter choices in the future! Thanks again, Angela!
Sharon was a fantastic sitter for our week away! She left the house as tidy and clean as we left it, including changing the sheets for our arrival. I truly cannot even tell she was here and that made coming home after a long travel day so much easier. She was communicative every step of the way and provided daily updates on our cat with photos. We knew our home and pet were in good hands! I would gladly welcome Sharon back any time should we be so lucky : )
Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.
Laura is incredible! For starters, she is a clear and considerate communicator who is reliable and trustworthy while setting up details for a sit in advance. From there... where do we start?! Laura (and her sister Stephanie, for a few days) took care of our cat & dog for a week-long sit. We were immediately at ease with both of them, and it was clear that they were excited to meet our pets and love them, and relaxed and comfortable in this role. They asked informed and curious questions about our pets, routines, and the surrounding area to set up a successful sit. When we departed, our dog hardly seemed to notice, because she was getting to know her new people! The snuggle-fest and hiking adventures that took place while we were gone resulted in happy pets who were calm and content. We received daily photos, which were heart warming, and assured us that dog hugs and cat exercise were taking place. Our dog is very affectionate, and Laura made sure that she received plenty of love while we were gone. Upon return, our home was spotless - tidy and clean (possibly cleaner than when we left, and we tried really hard!) We are games people, and Laura left us some of her favorite games to play (yay), and gifts for our pets, which were so fun to open when we got home. Everything was so thoughtful and kind. Laura is absolutely one of the top sitters we've ever had, and we are so grateful for her care. She went above and beyond basic home/pet care, and her compassion shines through in all of her communications and actions. She (and Stephanie) are welcome anytime, and we (Zora and Morris especially) hope they will come stay again!
Exceptional Pet Sitters - Highly Recommend Diedre and Keith! I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and their communication was top-notch. Dierdre and Keith provided regular updates, including delightful pictures of Molly, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Upon our return, it was evident that Molly had been well cared for and was content. The genuine love and understanding Diedre and Keith have for both dogs and cats was apparent in their interactions with Molly, and it was clear that they had made her feel comfortable and secure in their care. Their friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience truly enjoyable. In addition to taking great care of our beloved pet, Diedre and Keith ensured that our home was in excellent condition upon our return. They even went the extra mile by informing us about the leftovers they left in the fridge, which was a thoughtful gesture. I wholeheartedly recommend Diedre and Keith as exceptional pet and house sitters. Their attentive and caring approach, coupled with their expertise, make them a perfect choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy sitters. Don't hesitate to entrust your home and pets to this fantastic duo!
Debra was a Great pet and house sitter !! She communicated well throughout our long trip and sent us frequent pictures of all of our pets. She watered our plants and brought in all the mail. Our home was immaculate when we arrived home and the dogs and cat were super happy !! I would recommend Debra as a wonderful, responsible and reliable pet and house sitter !

We enlisted Sarah to take care of our animals while we disappeared for two weeks. She was, without a doubt the best person we could have found to do this job. Twice a day, she showed up to feed, water and clean up after our 40 odd chickens, 2 miniature horses, 5 goats and 1old cat. She sent us pictures every day besides. Sarah is thorough, pays close attention to the details, is really good natured and clearly loves animals. We don't have any hesitation recommending her if you are looking for anxiety free care for your livestock or pets.
We recently had Sarah care for our house rabbit and chickens while we were on vacation for two weeks. She checked in with us twice a day (after each visit), sending photos of our beloved pets each time. Our rabbit, who usually becomes very anxious when we leave, quickly bonded with Sarah, so we knew our bun was in good care and that truly gave us peace of mind. We were so pleased with how well she cared for our pets and communicated with us. We would recommend her to anyone who is in search of a caring, professional pet sitter!
Sarah has a great business because she loves all her furry friends. She does a great job taking care of them. I have known Sarah for over 10 years as she has taken care of over 30 of our horses, our goats and dogs. She is responsible, reliable and very reasonably priced. She even walks dogs in the winter. She may have higher prices in the winter- if she doesn't she should! Charlene Browne
Sarah is a true animal lover and my dog loves being around her! I know that when I leave my dog Harry with Sarah, he is happy, safe and loved! Sarah’s own dog Levi is great, and our dogs have really bonded and play together really well. I highly recommend her to anyone looking an amazing pet sitter who truly loves her job and the animals she cares for.
Amazing Value, Great quality. We have 2 Gordon Setters ( Jake is 12 & Georgie Girl is 1) Sarah balances out the hikes, Swimming / play time enough so Jake can keep up and Georgie Girl can slow down. Sarah made it easy for us to get away with picture updates of our Happy pups. I will recommend Sarah anytime to anyone. She is a family favorite with our pack.
My pups Ruthie and Rosie could not be happier with Sarah! She takes them for hikes and swimming and gives them lots of love. I feel confident that they are well cared for while I am at work. Sarah is flexible with her schedule and almost always has time for my girls. I know that she truly loves them!
We at Human Horse Balance LLC have used Sarah and Peace of Mind for barn sitting and pet sitting many times. We have 3 horses , 2 doggies and 2 cats. Sarah is so caring and capable we never worry about the farm when we are gone. There are few people that we trust with our farm .Peace of Mind and Sarah are at the very top of the list! Highly recommend!!!
Very cheerful, reliable and efficient. The animals all love her. So pleaand to be able to take a vacation. With 3 horses it is not always easy to find someone knowledgeable and kind to take care of them. Love Sara!

I cannot thank North Country Dog enough for taking care of everything we needed so we could go on vacation! We went on vacation for a week and had Rachel come stay at my moms house to take care of her and my animals, 3 dogs and cats and 2 reptiles total, they also filled our outdoor wood boiler while we were gone and did an amazing job! The animals were well taken care of and they sent photos to us throughout the week and the house looked as if no one had even been there! They are both very kind and trustworthy ladies who communicate in a timely manner and know exactly how to help!
I have a dog who recently returned home to recover after an emergency surgery, and my boyfriend and I were looking for someone to stay with him while we were away overnight - Not only did Rachel accommodate us last minute, but she took excellent care of all three of our fur babies, provided several photo check ins throughout the night, and ensured that our recovering pup was in good hands. Even our people-phobic cat cuddled up to Rachel! Highly recommend these ladies for any and all pet needs!
Rachael & Hannah are amazing! My baby's feels right at home with them. Lucy is 11 and Axel is 6 they both are very large. Lucy is a older pup BUT they still take care of her with her bad hips and she & axel always gets excited to see them with full tail wags and all! Thank you lady's for all that you both do for my fur baby's!
Our pup has gone to North Country Dog for daycare, boarding, and grooming. She gets so excited to go and play with the other dogs. Hannah and Rachel took the time to really get to know our pup, her strengths and quirks. The environment at North Country dog is so welcoming and loving. We never worry when we leave our dog with them. We highly recommend North Country dog for all your pets needs
Hannah and Rachel are fantastic! They took care of our dog for a week while we were out of town. She was well cared for and groomed while we were away. Our son missed the dog so much and they texted photos of her throughout the week. We are grateful for their care for our sweet girl! Thank you so much!
My husband and I have been absolutely blown away by the level of care and understanding that Hannah and Rachel have shown our pup, buddy. He has been a bit anxious, and unsettled during his grooms, but has been shown nothing but kindness and understanding. Rachel and Hannah have demonstrated that their number one priority is the care and comfort of the dogs they are taking care of. Hannah pays very close attention to Buddy's cues, showing him over and over that she is a safe person and can be trusted. We are so greatful that we found North Country Dog and would recommend them to anyone looking for an attentive and compassionate groomer.
Hannah and Rachel came to walk my dogs at the last minute. They also managed to give my little fella a magnificent beard trim and a much needed weenie fur trim. They understand the needs of my special dogs and are amazing with them.
If you ever really want to test a groomers patience and capabilities, drop off a 120 lb, white, double coated Great Pyrenees, after a long winter spent active outdoors (snowshoeing/ hiking/ skiing) , and during her spring blow out. I don't remember our dog ever coming back so clean! Not only does NCD have a great understanding of the specific grooming needs of certain breeds, but they'll have an open conversation and setup a contingency plan at point of drop off should they encounter a matt or tangle along the way. Our dog, Olive, was at ease-- came back relaxed and loved her time spent visiting North Country Dog. Hannah and Rachel are kind and gentle, treat our dogs as they would their own, and have truly found their calling in caring for dogs!
Hannah did an amazing job shaving my long haired cat. She was very responsive to my inquiries and able to get me in same day. Her bubbly genuine personality made me feel at ease when dropping off my cat and she did not disappoint with the grooming job!
Hannah and Rachel were awesome, they took great care of our husky and even took him on a hike. I would recommend them to anyone looking for someone to look after their dogs!
We had a lovely experience at Two Paws Up! Kim is very passionate about her work and does great with the animals. Our Finley came out looking absolutely beautiful after her spa day! Thank you Kim, we will certainly be back!
Kim has owned Two Paws Up for years and her experience and love of animals is evident in all of her interactions with them. My dog loves visiting her, and knowing Kim's background with her dad's veterinary practice, I am always confident she is safe and loved. Thank you so much for being you and working so hard to make all the pets feel comfortable away from home!!!
First time using the services for my two 75 & 83 pound Boxers and I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. The owner greeted me with an energy I knew my pups would dig!
So far, we have used Kim for boarding once and it was a great experience both for us and our dog Blue. She was kind and easy to work with, and the facility looked clean and neat. It is very nice to have someone in the Tamworth/Ossipee area for boarding. We have also been booked a couple other times and circumstances caused us to have to cancel on relatively short notice (a few days). I noticed an (unnecessarily) negative review here stating that Kim was upset about a cancellation, but I can say that she has been nothing but kind and accommodating on the occasions that we had to cancel.
Our dog loves going to Two Paws Up! She loves her hair cuts, baths and pampering! Kim is wonderful with our dog!!
Always friendly service. Always excellent care of my cats. Well worth the peace of mind for the cost. Thank you for loving all animals as much as you do Kim 🤎🤍💜💛🖤 …
Kim, the owner, has well over 25 years experience in the animal care world. The daughter of the most well respected vet in the area and she spent her childhood learning and working at her fathers practice. She has taken this knowledge and love of animals to her Grooming & Boarding Business and does the most wonderful job. The kennel and grooming area is clean, she takes such care with the nervous animals when grooming making sure to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Our dogs always look forward to seeing her and don't dread boarding or grooming like they have at some other establishments we have tried. Two Paws Up gets Two Thumbs Up! Oh, she is also fabulous at helping you train your pup!
Kim is an amazing groomer. She takes her time to ensure your pet is comfortable and feels safe. Which was very important for my Sharpie. Who gets nervous about his nails. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care or pampering for their fur babies.
Kim is amazing with animals. My big dog is petrified of everything! It takes two to three people to hold her when she gets her nails trimmed at the vet. Kim is able to trim our dogs nails without anyone holding her. She trusts Kim. Our little dog loves his grooming appointments.
This is the most trustworthy place in the area to keep your pet. The owner Kim S is the biggest animal lover there is, and she takes amazing care of all the pets that stay with her. Book early and often! Your pups will love it here!
We were apprehensive about having to board our recently adopted little girl for vacation. We knew Karla's Pet Rendezvous was the only place we'd feel comfortable taking our girl who had abandonment and / or PTSD issues. The photos don't lie, pretty much day it all, she's one happy girl! 🐾🐾We went on vacation, and our Little Luna went to her puppy vacation here. We signed up to get daily updates and photos that really helped us enjoy our vacation. She made friends 🧡 two-legged and four, played, and we dare say she had a better vacation than we did!! They took exceptional care of her and dealt with the newly nervous parents very personable and professionally. Best all around, care, experience, grooming, and comfort to board your baby!!! 🐾🐾
We've boarded and groomed our dogs at Karla's for many years. They are wonderful, caring people who truly love animals. The accommodations are excellent, clean, and spacious. When our dogs return from Karla's, we tend to sit around the fire listening to them reminisce and tell stories about all the new dog friends they made (and the old dog friends they had a chance to catch up with), which is nice.
We have used Pet Rendezvous for several years with our old lab, but then he passed and we haven't been back for a bit. We now have a puppy and I am glad to see that the daycare is still as good as it was. The staff at the counter was friendly and gladly gave us an update when we called to check-in on our baby. Our young lab came home tired and happy. What more can you ask for? I do miss the old report cards, but I'm sure it was difficult to do for a bunch of dogs.
We brought our 1-year old husky here for grooming... and his coat was a total nightmare. He got quilled a month before and his coat got matted and destroyed, way beyond something we could work on. They fixed him up completely and must have been very kind and gentle with him because he's a shy boy but he seemed totally happy. Really awesome experience with a REALLY tough case!!! Would highly recommend.
They are always super friendly, efficient, and prompt when we call and drop off the dogs. We never have any issues booking daycare. One of my dogs is anxious and needs slow intros and can be nervous around new people and he is always excited to be at daycare. They give us a detailed description of the day and how the boys did in the pack. The prices are very affordable and they offer a military discount. They also updated their hours recently to accommodate those of us who work early.
My dog loves to come here while my family goes away. Always eats well and the staff will even take daily pictures and text them.
Long story short: DO NOT leave your cat there. The place is dirty and reeks of dog. The staff does not know how to handle a frightened cat. I left my guy there August 5-8, and I am still kicking myself for not turning around and leaving the moment I walked in the place. If you want the long story, here it is: I needed a place for my cat, Purr, while I was in town for a conference. I should have known I made a bad choice when I walked in to a bad smell. There was a hint of bleach behind your basic feces/urine/dog kennel odor. Purr was scared, so I asked if I could help get him settled. They hesitantly allowed me to do that. The cat room is not at all what I expected based on the description and pictures on the website. It is not separated from the dog area as the description states. It is in a separate room, but you can still hear and smell the dogs. The ‘cat condos’ are hard laminate without anything soft for the cats to lay on. I took a towel in for Purr to have something that smelled like home and then they offered to put a cat bed in for him. That should be standard practice. Purr was hissing and growling, so I went to see the ‘cat condo’ to get him settled in. I asked them to let him come out of his carrier himself. I sat with him for a few minutes. He was still not coming out of the carrier, still hissing and growling. The handler who was with me didn’t seem to understand my instructions to allow him to come out himself instead of forcing him. I told them to wait until he came out on his own, no matter how long it took. The handler seemed puzzled by my instructions. When I picked Purr up, I asked if I could come back to the cat room to collect him myself. They said they had worked with him and they could do it. I know they man-handled him into the carrier because I heard him screaming and screeching. 😭 He was in terrible condition. He smelled like the kennel and urine. His coat was a mess. He had a glazed look in his eyes. I immediately went to Pet Smart and got dry shampoo and wipes. The soft-sided carrier I left with him reeked of urine and kennel. I had to go to get bleach, go to the laundromat and wash it. Purr and I have recovered, but it is the worst experience I have ever had with a pet. Never, ever, leave a cat there.
I brought my Copper here for a 2 night stay. It's Copper's second time here. When we arrived, I asked if Copper's nails be trim. By the time I arrived at my destination, I had a email from Pet Rendezvous saying they scheduled a nail trim for 7 am the next morning. I had to cut my trip short, which cut Copper's stay short too. I called to let Pet Rendezvous that I was going to pick up Copper early. It was no problem. They did a wonderful job in trimming his nails. I trust them with my furbaby💜
We love North Conway so were so glad to have found this lovely place for our pup to get the puppy vacation he needs too! Our Pumba is always excited to see the staff, and has had a healthy, safe, and fun time. We sign up for the text pics and love seeing him having a blast. Great, clean, safe place for your pups to stay!
We can’t say enough about Pet Rendezvous; the staff are all pet oriented, energetic, outgoing and attentive. Our two Maltese stayed in daycare for a week and boarded a few nights while we were in the area while we were exploring in our Airstream travel trailer. They were always happy to go inside and see their friends., you can see it on Finn’s face in the attached pic! We used their grooming services for bathes and that was a good experience also! Thank you, Vickie and all the good folks at Pet Rendezvous.
