With 61-5 star reviews we’d love to partner with you for complete peace of mind
Rose and mark were fantastic. Very professional and caring sitters. I never felt that I needed to worry about anything. They left my home in the condition as if they had never been there. I, absolutely couldn't have been more impressed and pleased.
Lifelong pet lover, longtime pet sitter!
Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
Spending life's adventure caring for your animal loved ones, big & small, w/ TLC
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Caring and loving pet-sitter.
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Fit and fun "young" retired couple offer peace of mind while you are away!
Everything was great even though they were here for some unfortunate circumstances (hurricane and extended power outage). Sent frequent updates and our cat seemed to like them.
Experienced housesitters looking to travel and make some furry friends!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
WFH researcher excited to provide quality care to your furry loved ones!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Experienced and zeewoi with excellent references!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Intrepid traveler and animal lover
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
Experienced sitter, 5-star reviews. Meticulous, quiet, non-smoker.
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
The Hound and Tabby Nanny is ready to take care of your fur babies.
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Retired professional gardeners available to care for your home, garden & pets.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Jeannette was the absolute best pet sitter anyone could ask for! She was communicative and easy going. She took very good care of the house, but most importantly she took superb care of my dog, Bodhi. She took him on long walks and fun adventures everyday. While I was out of the country, I received pictures and updates of their "vacation". I loved seeing Bodhi's and Jeannette's smiles in all the photos. They definitely bonded. :) I would highly recommend Jeannette as a pet sitter and also as an excellent person who cares about people, animals, and the planet.
Another amazing sit by Anna and her lovely family - our cocker spaniel Holly has had the best fortnight with these guys with lots of adventures and endless amounts of love and attention! Highly recommend as 5-star house and pet sitters - thank you Anna - hope to see you again!
Kelly and Chris are lovely people and we loved having them at the house! They were very engaged from the start, asking questions and wanting to know all the details on our pets. We were completely comfortable going away and didn’t worry during our trip knowing our kiddos were in such great hands. K & C gave us pics & updates as requested, and we loved seeing our pets have such a good time with them! They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! They were communicative before the sit, during, and after. Kelly and Chris were the ideal sitters in every way. We’d welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to others. Thanks you two!
Martin was a very conscientious and thoughtful house sitter who took excellent care of our pets and our home. He was reliable, self-sufficient, and a very good communicator. He clearly enjoys and cares for animals, and our house was spotless when we returned. We recommend him wholeheartedly!
Initially, I was very nervous about finding my very first in-home pet sitter who could provide the level of care and attention our 3 beloved fur-kids required. From the moment Emily and Johnny stepped into our home, I knew they were going to be in good hands. Their gentle demeanor and genuine love for animals instantly put our dogs Gypsy & Johnny at ease. Emily and Johnny took the time to understand our pets’ unique personalities and preferences, ensuring that their every need would be met. During our absence, Emily provided us with regular updates and adorable photos. Their detailed communication gave me peace of mind, knowing that my fur babies were in the best possible hands. Upon our return, we were greeted by a happy and contented gang, who clearly had enjoyed their time with Emily and Johnny. Emily and Johnny are more than just pet sitters; they are true companions to our furry family. Their exceptional care, genuine love for animals, and unwavering dedication have earned them a permanent spot in our hearts. Without hesitation, we give Emily and Johnny a 5-star rating and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking trustworthy and loving caregivers for their beloved pets. THANK YOU Emily and Johnny!!! <3
Rachel was an excellent pet sitter for my cat. She was a good communicator and also kept my place very tidy. She even left me a gift of a bar of chocolate upon her departure! Highly recommend.
We had the pleasure of having Tara as our house sitter while we were away, and we can't praise her enough for the fantastic job she did. Not only did she take excellent care of our home, but she also showed tremendous love and attention to our beloved dogs. From the moment Tara walked through the door, we could tell she had a genuine passion for animals. She immediately bonded with our dogs, and they seemed completely at ease with her. Throughout our trip, she provided us with regular updates and photos, which truly put our minds at ease knowing our boys were in great hands. Tara took great care of our home as well. It was evident that she respected our space and coming back home, we found everything just as we left it, if not even better! We highly recommend Tara to anyone in need of a reliable, trustworthy, and caring house sitter. Her communication was excellent, and she proved herself to be a responsible and dedicated individual. If you want to ensure your pets and home are in the best hands while you're away, Tara is the perfect choice. Thank you, Tara, for taking such incredible care of our dogs and home. You made our trip stress-free, and we're truly grateful.
Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip! From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative. He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay. While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby! When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom. I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again. You will be lucky if he can do the same for you. :)
Kuldip exceeded all the expectations we had from a Zeewoi. She took over from another sitter when we got stuck out of country due to a family emergency. A highly energetic person yet extremely organized, she easily matched the energy level of my 2-year-old Border Collie Pavo. She not only exercised him multiple times every day, but even him bought him new doggy toys and treats (much appreciated!). She got along very well with our neighbor and with their combined help Pavo got a much needed doggy bath! With her by my dogs side we were worry-free and able to focus on our family needs. Lastly, she left a pleasant surprise when we came back home. Our home looked squeaky clean and beautifully organized. Kuldip is a gem of a pet sitter and we would love to have her back for our fur baby without any hesitation. I highly recommend her!
Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

Brian has been nothing but flexible and understanding while walking my dog Hooch. Hooch's temperament is a bit on the anxious side, and having Brian walk him has made a big improvement in how relaxed he is in the evening. Brian has also been very accommodating with shifting his walk schedule from time to time due to my work schedule. Great communication, and has always let me know how my dog was for the day if I ask.
Brian has been amazing! Brian has been walking my Chocolate lab since I was relocated to St. Louis in January. He is great at communicating how your pet is doing and any changes he notices. He has been super reliable and adaptable to my work schedule. I would recommend STL Happy Dogs to anyone looking for someone who cares about the care of their pet.
Brian really helped me out during my travels through St. Louis. I had tried several larger dog sitters and all were either booked, didn’t return my calls or required a meet and greet prior to my dog spending the day. Upon meeting Brian, he was immediately aware of my dog’s anxiety due to traveling. She willingly went with him which made me feel at ease about leaving her. I am so glad Brian was able to keep my dog as active as I was while we visited St. Louis. His prices are reasonable and his service was greatly appreciated.
I agree, Brian was a lifesaver! He was able to watch my dog Riley when I had some last-minute plans. We did a meet a greet and my dog loved him, she was immediately at ease! Brian was super easy-going and nice to work with. He even took care of Riley's upset stomach after getting into the trash (sorry!). I felt horrible that she got sick at his place, especially bc I was running late picking her up the next day! But he was so nice to take care of her and was not upset that I was late or at the fact she got sick at his place! He even said she was welcome back :)
Brian with STL Happy Dogs watched our 3 cats when we went on vacation recently. He was responsive and made sure they received lots of pets, food and a clean litter box. Our travel plans were disrupted and we had to stay an extra day and Brian made time to stop by and check in on the cats that extra day. It's clear he really cares about the pets he is caring for. Would highly recommend!
I had a great experience with Brian when I was a student and needed someone to care for my new cat over school breaks. He was very professional and accommodating to the specifics of what I needed, including playing with and spending time with my cat. He took great care of my neighbor's dog, too. Would highly recommend Brian/STL Happy Dogs for any dog AND/or cat care.
Brian was a miracle worker from day one. His response time was impeccable. We struggled with getting control of our rescue dog for nearly three years before we reached out to Brian & STL Happy Dogs. His presence was immediately helpful with finally integrating our dog into the household as a real family member. We have also used his boarding services when we travel and I wouldn't trust my dog more with anyone else.
Brian did a nice job taking care of my 2 kitties over a weekend. He was calm and quiet so they took to him instantly! He has reasonable prices, sent pics of my cats at his visits and he kept their food and litter bucket areas immaculately clean. I really appreciated that. I would use his services again .
Brian was very responsive when I contacted him on-line for pet sitting on short notice. He came right out to our house to meet the animals. While we were away he kept in communication with us about how it was going, especially with our dog who can sometimes be reluctant. It so happened that our neighborhood lost power due to a storm while we were away, and Brian let us know and was making sure it didn’t get too warm in the house for the animals. He visited several times a day, and was very flexible when we let him know we would be returning later than originally planned. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Brian and STL Happy Dogs, LLC again, and actually plan to in the very near future! Thank you Brian!
Brian watched our cat for two trips and we’ve been very happy with the service. He came by ahead of our first trip and learned our cat’s needs and routine. He sends text updates with a photo with each visit, which we appreciated and keeps everything tidy.
My pup, Elbie, has been going to the Watering Bowl for over 6+ years. She started at 6mo old. It is her home away from home and she absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing and always go the extra mile, they are some of her favorite humans. She regularly attends daycare at Hanley and I trust no one else for boarding. She occasionally visits Dog Grove and they are just as wonderful.
My 8 month old lab puppy seems to love it there. As an over protective dog mom so far I’m happy we have had issues in the past at another daycare with them not know about an injury she had. I love when I pick layla up I get notes on how her day was who she played with and even when she gets into trouble it’s nice to know. I also love that they have late pick up and you don’t have to bored them if your a little late. The staff is always SUPER friendly. Only 2 down sides I have found is I wish they had cameras the other daycares that she’s went to had cameras and I loved being able to watch her. I also wish I seen her in more Facebook photos since theirs no cameras just making sure she’s having the fun I think she is having. But overall great place with great staff
We have two Great Pyrenees that love the people working at The Watering Bowl! They frequent the Hanley location - I highly recommend that you schedule time to sniff around and your fur baby to have a day of fun. They post pictures and videos of the dogs daily.
We love the Watering Bowl, we have been taking our pup there since he was under a year! The staff is amazing they take such great care of the pups! We love them and we are so glad to have them in our lives!
Our pup Sasha frequents TWB weekly. She LOVES coming, and wiggles her way up to the front door. We are always greeted by name in the morning. I truly feel like my dog is family to the staff and I know she’s having a good time! We love Hanley!
I love the Watering bowl. I have a senior dog that happily goes there everyday for daycare while I work. They are so caring for the animals it gives me peace of mind knowing she is well cared for.
The Watering Bowl (Hanley) is my favorite place for day care and boarding. My owners have been taking me there for years. The staff are super nice to me and ensure I have a great time playing with all my friends. Lady
Read the fine print, and don't rely on staff to give accurate information about hours and services. Also, if you buy a package, know that they are location specific. They seem to take good care of my dogs, with the exception that they don't do a good job of cleaning their ears. They will charge you for every little thing, even if it's their fault, and point to the fine print of their website if there are any questions. Not very customer friendly. Examples below. The first time I utilized The Watering Bowl, I dropped both of my dogs off at the Brentwood location for boarding while I was out of town. My mom had to pick them up because one of my dogs will occasionally cough due to allergies. OK, they're cautious about kennel cough. I understand that. Inconvenient for me and my family, but I had the vet confirm he just has allergies. The second time I dropped them off at the Grove location for boarding, bath, nails, and ears. We walked in to pick up at 10am (pick up cut off time). After speaking with the front desk and them having issues with their card reader, the invoice was time stamped at 10:07. I was charged for half a day of daycare due to being "late." When I called and said I was there at 10, admittedly cutting it close with our long drive, but was there on time, she referred to the 10:07 time stamp and said even if you're 2 minutes late, you will be charged for daycare. OK great, I'll be sure to pick them up at 9:30 next time and pray there is no line. In addition, my dogs ears had a bunch of ear wax and it didn't even look like they had been cleaned. Yesterday I dropped them off for daycare and a bath at the Brentwood location. The girl checking them in said I could pick them up whenever. I asked for clarity on the pick up time and explained that I would be going out to Ste. Gen until at least 5:30pm, and I'm not even sure what time I would be getting back. She said oh, that sounds fun, yeah you can pick them up any time. When I got back into town and went to pick them up, there was no one in the lobby and the door was locked. I called twice and no one answered. While I was standing there, a worker just happened to walk into the lobby and explained that they closed at 4pm, and that they had tried to call me. He told me I could pick them up at 8am, because the night crew can't check anyone out. Okay, well why didn't the front desk inform me of this when I was dropping them off? I could have arranged something at that moment or planned better with the correct information! To add insult, they charged me $200 for boarding and when I asked if I could use a boarding package I already purchased previously (at the Grove location), I was informed I could not because packages are location specific. Wonderful. Like I said earlier, they will do EXACTLY what their fine print says. Nothing more, nothing less. Do not expect any flexibility in their policies or any accommodations if emergencies or sudden changes occur. Do not expect the front desk staff to give you correct information and always read their policies and their website yourself.
We love everyone at the watering bowl. My girl can’t wait to get in there and they also do a great job on her nails (and she is a tough customer!)
Roots loves going to the Watering Bowl Hanley. He runs and drags me to the door as soon as we park
The best doggie day care in St. Louis! Huge playground, friendly staff, and my pup is always excited and happy to go. So thankful for their care!
Started taking my pup here once a week when my obedience trainer recommended this local family-owned business. Sold already. He sleeps a good amount of the evening afterwards, so I know he gets a lot of playtime. They seem to really like my crazy Lou and I'm so glad he is in great hands!
Bax and Max are exhausted after their first day of doggy daycare. We cannot wait to go back every week! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Don’t listen to the 1 star “Karen reviews”, this place is very reasonable and the people are welcoming and caring! Def try them out!
Our two dogs have been going to Kamp K-9 for over 2 years. They absolutely love it and get so excited when they are going to play with their friends all day - and we love it since they come home worn out! Stacy and the rest of the crew are such a pleasure, really care about the dogs, and really know the dogs and their personalities. Their hours (6:30am-6pm) are such a huge benefit for us as well. HIGHLY recommend Kamp K-9!
My dog Finn loves it here. He is always so happy to go to daycare. At pickup, he always looks like he just had the best day ever. He has been discriminated against at other places because of his breed. Everyone at Kamp K9 treats him so kindly, just as they do all the dogs.
My dog gets so excited when I tell him we are going to doggy daycare. He can’t stop wagging his tail once we arrive. Kamp K9 was recommended to us by our dog trainer and we are not disappointed. My dog comes come happy and very tired!
Best Doggie Daycare in all of St Louis. The ladies of Kamp K9 take wonderful care with the dogs. They are the dog whisperers of Doggie Day Care. I know of horror stories of other daycare places. This place is so well managed, they don't have to split big dogs from Little dogs. My Italian Greyhound was scared of people when she first started here. She loves to play wit the big dogs and love the ladies of Kamp k-9. Now she is learning to like strangers too!
Most places turned down my dog due to crowding, Kamp K9 took him in with open arms. I can trust them with my dog ever single day and know nothing will go wrong. During events like birthdays, my dog sometimes comes home with a little goodie bag. Also, during other holidays I was given a mug with my dog on it and photos. I consider myself so lucky. Also, a costume contest for the pets on Halloween?! Count me in! So grateful and appreciative for Kamp K9...they will keep you updated if needed and give the pups so much entertainment such a pools, and little playground things.
Our dog goes to Kamp K9!! She Loves it there! She has made friends with other dogs. Plus she gets to use her energy which is very important when you are a young dog.
This by far is the WORST doggy daycare.... I needed some place safe and welcoming for my Bella. The manager Stacey and Jessica is by far the most disrespectful people I've came across in my life. They didn't afford me the chance to voice my concerns about my Bella before rasing their voices. They say pay attention to your child/ren to know something is wrong and in this case even though it's my dog she's still my baby and they were mistreating her because if they wasnt they wouldn't have been so quick to over talk me and be so dismissive about my concerns. VERY rude, unprofessional just down right HORRIBLE!!!!
We have been using love unleashed for about 2 years now, and they are the BEST! All of the workers are so nice and truly care for your dogs. They’ve been very accommodating when we need to board or bring our dog Liesl to daycare, and their prices are excellent for the value. I love seeing the pictures they lost of the dog, and I have no worries when drilling her off when going out of town on a trip. We routinely get the 20 day package and you can use the 20 days when you need them. It doesn’t have to be consecutive. They’re open a while too so you have plenty of time to get your dog after work. Our dog always comes home happy, and they’re very communicative if you have any questions. I have taken my dog to their South City and Crestwood location and they are both top notch. Thank you Love Unleashed for all you do! Everyone we’ve ever interacted with has always been so kind.
SMALL DOG OWNERS… PLEASE READ! I am upset. Let me start by saying, to the girl who answered the phone if I was short or rude, I apologize, I was panicking. I brought my 18 week, 10 pound puppy in for his second play day. I felt ok with this place, after they confirmed that small dogs had their own area. It is also super close to me, which was great. It was nice to have a puppy break. At pick up, I signed up for the 10 day package as it was a great deal. When I was handed my puppy, he did some weird wiggling in my arms. It was like he was uncomfortable, to the point that in the front room I put down my things and repositioned him. I got puppy home and we got situated. I went to pick him up and he started screaming/yelping/crying. I panicked. I tried again in another two or so minutes and he did it again. At that point I’m in full panic, changing back into clothes for emergency vet, racking my brain and then, duh, doggy day care. As I’m changing and getting his carrier, I call love unleashed and told them my dog is yelping / crying in pain. They said they didn’t know and he seemed fine but would review tapes (what can they say). I said refund my money, we have to go to emergency. I asked how big the dogs are in the small dog area, and then I remembered the pic of him being pinned down by an Aussie dog at least 45 pounds. Full on pin down, dog had all his weight on him. Mind you, this is ONE photo I saw. Unfortunately, he was there for 7-8 hours. My puppy is ok, just beat up from rough play and on bed rest. I have a 25 pound dog at home and I heavily monitor their play, almost limit it bc 25 adult pounds on a 10 pound puppy is still a lot. In no way is it reasonable to have dogs that are 40-50 pounds (and seemingly bigger) in a small dog/puppy area. These big dogs were NOT old and NOT small, you could tell in the photos they were young and active. Small dog owners, I got lucky with a puppy with no internal injuries/broken bones and only bed rest, you may not be as lucky. It’s not worth the risk. If you still insist, have a couple thousand for your emergency vet visit or get pet insurance.
I would give this place a million stars if I could. Everyone is so kind & cares for your pets. Whenever Maple gets an upset stomach and needs a hundred different medications and food changes throughout the day, Love Unleashed is always accommodating, and they always have a close eye on my pup/keep me updated! Maple has a blast & always comes home super tired from running around all day. She’s scared of most places but gets super excited when we walk through the door here. I wouldn’t trust my pup with anyone else but Love Unleashed ❤️
My dogs absolutely love it here. We do regular daycare and occasional boarding. My shy boi Finn is coming out of his shell, connecting with staff and even playing with other dogs! My extrovert Crowley gets all of his energy out and has a blast. Facilities are great and staff is the best. It’s like taking my fur babies to a human daycare. They really care. I also like that they are open so late.
I started taking my dog here because they have the best hours, both locations are good, and it financially was the best option. The staff greet my dog every morning by name and always recognize me as my dog's mom when I pick him up. They post photos of the dogs every day and even celebrate dogs' birthdays with a few of their furry friends. Becca has been working there since I started bringing my dog and she's extremely communicative and transparent if or when things happen. While they don't have an outside area, my dog still comes home exhausted and a daycare hangover the next day.
Great service. They are pretty flexible on what you may need for your furry friend. Love that they post photos every day on Facebook of what the dogs are doing there.
Friendly staff, our pup always has a great time here! Make sure to order ice cream for your doggo 😁 …
Today was my pups first day. We had a meet & greet earlier this week, which she loved, and when we pulled up today she was dragging me towards the door and could not wait to go in! Staff was great, and very friendly. The Facebook pictures from throughout the day were so fun to see. They even made a welcome post for her with lots of pictures. They provided an update of her day when I picked her up, and wiped her down before they brought her out to me. She's exhausted from her big day, and I feel so comfortable bringing her back here when I work long shifts 🙂
Brought my dog in for a meet and greet - as soon as she entered back room - I heard some crashing noises and dogs growling and barking to the point it made me feel uncomfortable - apparently my dog wasn't good enough after 6 minutes of a meet and greet even though she's been to 2 different day cares in New York and one in St. Louis without any issues. It's too bad as I just moved to the neighborhood but it looks like the staff is pretty unreliable based on my first impressions so I guess it's probably best off not to bring your dog to this establishment
I know quite a few people who work between the 2 locations. First and foremost, the owner keeps all the tips. If you have ever tipped at either location, just know...the owner took them. On top of not getting tips, they have no insurance, and are paid the bare minimum. Most of the people are really compassionate, but there are also people who hit the dogs. So between the dismissal of employees concerns by the owner and general manager (who are 100% having an affair with one another) this place is an absolute hazard for your pets. Do not and I repeat, do NOT use this business for your babies care! Heed my warning. Your dogs are not receiving the care you think they are. Those little report cards you receive are absolutely made up and definitely have nothing to do with the actions of your dogs throughout the day.
My 4 year old goldendoodle just finished a 3 week training session with Kailee and saw tremendous progress. My dog is an anxious, reactive dog (yay Covid puppies) that needed some serious work and Kailee is simply a magician. Within three weeks of working with Kailee, she now can walk really well and can ignore most of the distractions that made walking her a nightmare. She's also learned a few other commands that help her control her energy and anxious tendencies. She truly exceeded my expectations and we are continuing to work on them and look forward to some periodic refreshes with Kailee. My dog does not love humans she doesn't know, but absolutely loves and trusts Kailee and we simply cannot recommend her as a trainer enough! Well worth the time and cost and would do it all again in a heartbeat. Not to mention, the rest of the staff here is amazing and treated my dog so well.
We have been taking our King Charles Cavalier there since he’s been about about five months old so for about a total of 3 1/2 months. I wanted to see the facility when we got there just to see what it was like and they said that wasn’t allowed, but I still went ahead and sent him one day a week until today. The facility now has cameras where you can see your dogs so that may be happy that I could check in on him. When I checked in on him today, he was kennel and I wasn’t sure why while the other dogs ran around and played. I called to see why he was kennel and was told that he had been trying to mount some of the other dogs. Now we have never been told that he tried doing this in the past and we’ve had him at other facilities with dogs and friends and training classes and he never has attempted to do this with another dog or us but of course there’s always a first for everything so I was like OK what’s your Policy for handling this situation and they said we create them for an hour and then take them out and if they do it again, we create them for another hour and so. First of all, I wasn’t happy that he had been being created without me knowing it and then using that as a form of punishment as all our trainers we’ve ever had with our dogs have said do not use the crate as a farm a punishment.. So I also asked if this was an ongoing issue and the one girl said yes and I said well if it’s been an ongoing issue why have we not been told about this in the past. So I went to go pick him up and I talked to the people in charge. One gentleman agreed with me that that was a little rash for him to be kenneled up And then the general manager said no that’s their policy which which it’s their right to have that policy, but I think it’s also my right to be notified as a pet parent that this has been an issue however, the gentleman that worked there said he looked back in the files and it’s never been documented that our dog has done this in the past. So I’m not sure what to believe but I don’t like the idea that he’s being created and not given any explanation to us, nor would I I know, except for the fact that I saw him and asked why. I’ve decided to take him out of this facility because I’ve taken him the multiple training classes and he’s a very well behaved dog and I’m not just saying that cause he’s mine and usually if you correct him something once or twice, he is really responsive. I called a pet trainer who’s really high qualified pet trainer and she said she would not take him there either as that should not be a form of punishment. Just wanna make anyone that’s going to take their dog there to make sure they watch the cameras and see what’s going on because they don’t communicate anything to you. They just make it sound like everything’s fine and take your money and then when you see something they tell you it’s been an ongoing issue. I kind of doubt it, but who knows .
We have been taking our husky mix here ever since we adopted him and the employees here have made it so stress free and incredibly convenient since we live in an apartment with a dog who adores other dogs and human company. We will continue bringing our canine companions here for as long as we can!
We recently brought in our dog, Timmy, for training, and No Leash Needed was phenomenal! Always extremely communicative and flexible, and every staff member is so kind. We had a phenomenal experience with our trainer Kaylee, who set an excellent obedience foundation with our dog in just two weeks. Would recommend No Leash Needed Hampton and Kaylee to anyone!
Both of my dogs came here for daycare and got kennel cough. I called to see if they had anyone recently in there with kennel cough and they go “yeah we recently had an outbreak a week or two ago.” Literally no one notified me or bothered to let me know about this. Now I have two very sick dogs!! On top of that they are very expensive, so the least they could do is notify the pet parents when there is an outbreak so we can get our pets the care they need!! I’m so disappointed and frustrated with this facility. I will not bring back my dogs here. BTW this outbreak just happened so be aware!!
We've had our dogs stay at several doggie daycares, but we were looking for a place where they could truly be comfortable. So far, No Leash Needed Hampton seems to fit the bill! We have one small dog who is leery of new people and dogs; and a big dog who is rambunctious and friendly to everyone. The staff were good about going slow with our stand-offish dog and handled him without incidents. To our surprise, our friendly dog turned out to be the challenge: she got into a kerfuffle with another dog who apparently was a bit too insistent on playing with our dog. The staff separated the dogs before anyone was hurt, they kept them separate for a while, and then monitored their behavior to make sure there were no further incidents. As mortified as we were that our pride and joy misbehaved, we were really grateful for the staff for both resolving the situation as well as not automatically jumping to the conclusion that our dog is unsafe around other dogs. The owner also let me take a look at their facilities - as is common with doggie daycares in the area, it can get crowded, but the facilities looked well maintained, nice, and since they're inside we didn't have to worry about heat.
I really cannot say enough great things about No Leash Needed Hampton! We boarded our dog, Morgan, for the first time, and I'm so happy it was at this location. We had an emergency trip come up and the time I had to find someone to watch him was very short notice. Being that we are fairly new to STL, it was hard to find a trustworthy caretaker. 1) because he is a pit and 2) because he doesn't do well with other (male) dogs. Being that it was such short notice and Hampton doesn't normally do individual play time, the staff was very understanding and kind to our situation, especially after I called in 3 other No Leash facilities, but they were all booked up. We were able to do a temperament test and regardless of him failing, they took him in and let us board. We were gone for 10 days and did not feel worried at all! In addition, the staff was super friendly, nice, and knowledgeable, which really put us at ease. I can tell that Morgan was well taken care of and really loved on. I love the final report cards that they sent us at the end too! I hope that you'll let us stay with you again No Leash Hampton!!!
I LOVE No Leash Need @ Hampton! The staff are great and my 9 month Lab mix absolutely loves coming here! I love that she is completely exhausted for a couple days after her play day! It's helpful to me and so good for her! She listens better when she's tired and isn't in her puppy mind. Thank you for helping me have a healthy minded pup!
My sweet Rue had her first experience recently with daycare at No Leash Needed on Hampton. I appreciated their attention to detail in making sure all of her paperwork is in order before accepting her. That is really important to me because I want to make sure she’s in a safe environment. Check in went well and my sweet girl had such a good day. I also appreciate it that when I brought her for the next time, they graded her by name, and seemed excited to see her . She was definitely excited for another day to play with other dogs. The facility is very clean and the team members are very friendly. I am a fan!
We took our puppy Mischa here for puppy preschool. She loved it and we loved it. The trainers and staff I can tell honestly care about her and she REALLY loves going there. From a training standpoint, she is a much better listener and I think we’ve learned some good ways to work with her at home too. Know that you, the human, also have to put in some work too! I would highly recommend them for training.
Celsi is the BEST boarding host! She is absolutely caring about each and every one of the pets she watches and my dog loved her so much I wasn’t sure she’d want to come back home! Not only is Celsi an amazing host but the environment she provides for the dogs is such an essential primal canine experience because dogs are pack animals. I have not seen my dog thriving more than when she’s roaming as part of the pack! I highly recommend boarding at Celsi’s Dog Care. You can feel confident that your pet is getting the best attention and stimulating environment while you’re away.
I just had the best experience boarding my dog at Celsi’s! Celsi is super friendly and really cares about the animals. The facility is clean and spacious, with tons of space for exercise and play. I loved receiving daily updates and photos—they really put my mind at ease knowing my pup was having a great time. When I picked him up, he was so happy and clearly well taken care of. I can’t recommend Celsi’s enough for anyone looking for quality dog boarding. I’ll definitely be back!
Celsi is awesome! My family planned a road trip through St. Louis, and wanted to go up in the arch, but dogs aren’t allowed. I found Celsi through maps, and she was easy to get a hold of, and said that she could watch my Shepherd mix while my family went to the arch. I totally forgot to submit all of my paperwork and confirm my booking, but she made it work for me, even though it was my mistake. She was so accommodating, and took great care of my dog while I was gone. So glad I found her!
Celsi is the best! We’ve boarded twice with her. Our two pups get all the love and attention they need. They were spoiled and loved playing with the other dogs. Great socialization for your pups.
Celsi is amazing. Her love for the dogs is clear and I know our lil dog is in good hands when I drop her off for daycare. I love that they are active and get to play, but also have opportunities to snuggle up and relax. I also love that she takes pictures of the pups playing that I get to see while I’m away! We took a 10 day vacation this year and boarded with Celsi. We had no issues and Celsi makes the whole process easy. She was a happy loved dog when we brought her back home. I’m so grateful we found Celsi!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I just recently moved back into the area and I have an 8 month old puppy named Bear. I work full time and had in home care for him regularly up until a month ago. I wanted to find somewhere that was warm and welcoming but also safe for my dog. Celsi is all of those things and more! Bear has been going for almost three weeks and I have already begun to see positive behavior changes. He is so tired when he comes home in the best way possible and just relaxes. He now knows when we are going and happily jumps in my car to go. I take Bear 2-3 days a week and the prices are extremely reasonable for the care and level of love your animal is getting. Celsi is professional with her business and processes as well as considerate of people like me who are new to this process. Her daughter makes and sometimes sells home made treats which are nutritious and yummy. Celsi posts on Facebook which I love because I can see how Bear is doing when I am not with him. I cannot say enough positive things about this little gem of a business in Affton!! Look no further If you are looking for a place for your dog to be loved, mentally stimulated and safe. I am so grateful we have found her space and can’t wait to watch Bear make new friends and grow there.. :)
We are so lucky we found Celsi’s Dog Care a little over 2 years ago! We have such peace of mind when we leave our dog for vacations knowing that Celsi treats them like her own! She’s very accommodating, keeps you in the loop with pictures and videos, and my dog loves her! I can’t recommend her enough!!
I have used Celsi multiple time to watch my pup on long trips and have never felt better about the care of my pup! He gets so excited to see her so I know how well she treats him! I get pictures and videos and when I reach out to check on him she responds quickly. Celsi is great to work with, professional and organized. Finally, her prices are the best I have found, which is great because I feel I get the family touch for a price much lower than the big kennels! I highly recommend and will continue to work with her!
Celsi is amazing. I take my 4-month-old puppy once or twice a week and he has the best time ever he comes home. He's happy. It's an amazing place. They have little dogs. They have larger dogs but she does a great job with all of them. I recommend it highly
Celsi is AMAZING! We boarded our three pups for the first time and had some hesitancy about doing so because they’re our babies. But Celsi made sure to update us when we requested and she always posted pics and videos of them so that we could see how much fun they were having! She definitely gave us a sense of comfort and trust when it came to caring for our pups. We would definitely use Celsi’s services again and definitely recommend her go all the dog moms and dads out there!
Puppy is always happy to be dropped off for daycare and always returns ready to sleep after. When we need to board him the staff has always kept us informed of any issues and posts photos so we can be happy he's well cared for. Have always trusted Happy Dog Spot with our dogs care. 👍 …
The Happy Dog Spot is the best of the best! Our dog boarded for four nights and was very well taken care of. He has boarded many places, but the Happy Dog Spot is the gold standard. The team gave us a thoughtful overview of how they care for the dogs during their stay and provided an overview of the facility. Beyond that, the team was extremely easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. Their love for dogs is evident and much appreciated. I would recommend Happy Dog Spot to any and everyone. Thank you again to the team for such a great experience - we'll be back!
Krystal is an amazing groomer! She takes such good care of my princess fur baby that she loves going to the groomer. Appointment booking is easy and she does just what I ask for with my dog's cut.
I absolutely love this place !!!!!! I was so upset with Mavericks last groomer. When I reached out to Krystal she was so kind and patient with Maverick. She informed me on exactly what Maverick needed and not only did she do an awesome job he felt really comfortable with her. Thanks Happy Dog Spot !!!!!
Great experience here, my dog enjoyed playing and getting a wonderful groom.
Happy Dog Spot is an absolute gem! My puppy absolutely loves it. The staff is caring, the facility is clean, and Doge's tail never stops wagging. Highly recommended! 🐶🏠💕 …
I used to take my pomsky there once a week for socialization and play time with other puppies and dogs. She seemed to enjoy it at firest and they seemed knowledgeable and caring about the dogs. I didn't like we were not given a tour of the building or knew about the set up. They said she trying to jump their fences after taking her a few times. They offered to try and work with her but weren't really forth coming of how they would do that. I'm sure their set up works for a lot of dogs but after observing her via webcam a another place I feel is better for her. They are also reasonable on pricing but I think just having fenced off areas doesn't work for my girl her new place has actual rooms and that seems to work out better.
I have been using the daycare for about a year. I tried several and this is the only one my dog wanted to come back to - he absolutely loves it! They have a huge indoor space and ample outdoor space, wonderful staff to dog ratio, super clean, attentive and professional staff, grooming and boarding as well.
My dog and I always have a great experience at Happy Dog Spot! They offer boarding and daycare so I've always got somewhere to take him. My boy always has so much fun and comes back worn out ready for the next day.
Great doggy daycare Clean facility Wonderful staff
Mary does EXCELLENT work! She really cares about the animals that she takes care of and the animals love her in return. She's the only person that I'll trust my pets with. Never again will I take my animals to a kennel. I love the one on one time that she gives my animals that I can't get anywhere else.
Mary is just truly amazing! Could never say enough about how great she is. Highly recommend her for pet sitting!
Mary did a wonderful job I'm taking care of our two dogs, one of whom is elderly.
