Wendy was the perfect pet sitter. From the outset her communication and reliability gave me confidence that I was leaving my cat in capable hands. We met before the sit which was really helpful. During the sit Wendy let me know that my cat was content and when I returned home the house was spotless. Wendy had even left a lovely little vase of flowers for me... and had stripped the bed and put the washing machine on! Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Wendy.

Experienced dog owners looking to meet new furry friends
After getting let down at the 11th hour by a confirmed sitter, I reached out to Ian and Tracey who had saved my sit previously to see if they could help. Tracey responded very quickly and following a call the next day, we were able to confirm that she would do the sit alone. Tracey was extremely organised and communicative throughout and arrived first thing in the morning to ensure that the cats were not on their own for too long. She sent regular updates about the cats and the fact that they were more focused on getting in the garden when we returned home rather than having a fuss was a sign that they were very relaxed. We arrived back to a spotless house and milk in the fridge for a cup of tea after our journey. Unfortunately we did not get to meet Tracey on this occasion however I hope in the future that she and Ian can be tempted to sit for us again. I have no hesitation in recommending Tracey to look after your home and pets.

In the lead up to the house sit, we had a couple of calls with Annie and Mark, which were very useful and reassuring for us, given this was our first experience of zeewoi. Communication and timing of arrival was excellent. Given we were still sorting out various "things" before we departed, we were able to get to know them and do a full hand over, which they took in their stride and allowed us to quickly relax about leaving Nelson the Flatboat and the house in their capable hands. A couple of updates with pictures were sent during our holiday which is what we had asked for and were well received. We would welcome Mark and Annie back should we make future holiday arrangements and it fitted with their schedule. We arrived home to a very excitable Nelson, and a sense that the house had been well looked after as well. Thank you.

Helen was great. We had a video call initially and on the day I was leaving we agreed she would arrive early and meet my cat and I and, get acquainted. I felt very comfortable leaving my cat and home in her care. She is a safe pair of hands and seems very capable and experienced. Wouldn’t hesitate to have her sit again. Home was left immaculate as well and my cat was so chill he barely registered my arrival when I got back. Thank you Helen.

From the moment we met Ellie and Sean we knew they were going to be very conscientious and caring whilst looking after our dogs . Major, their own dog came to stay also . He is a well trained , easy going dog who blended easily with ours . Ellie and Sean have strong attention to detail and gave us confidence that they could manage Cillas medication and both her and Douglas’s routine . The videos sent regularly and photos illustrated how content the dogs were and how they had bonded with Ellie and Sean. Our home was respected and cared for . All my house plants were healthy and they helped to store our large crop of apples. We do hope to see Ellie and Sean again and think they are great house sitters !

Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. Kuldip exceeded all the expectations we had from a Zeewoi. She took over from another sitter when we got stuck out of country due to a family emergency. A highly energetic person yet extremely organized, she easily matched the energy level of my 2-year-old Border Collie Pavo. She not only exercised him multiple times every day, but even him bought him new doggy toys and treats (much appreciated!). She got along very well with our neighbor and with their combined help Pavo got a much needed doggy bath! With her by my dogs side we were worry-free and able to focus on our family needs. Lastly, she left a pleasant surprise when we came back home. Our home looked squeaky clean and beautifully organized. Kuldip is a gem of a pet sitter and we would love to have her back for our fur baby without any hesitation. I highly recommend her!

Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. I can highly recommend the Margate Pet Sitter. All our dogs and cats love David, his calm positive persona completely melt our dogs. He is reliable and flexible, and kind. Just a good human. He was able to gain the trust of our Belgian Malinois in the first few minutes of meeting him, for those of you that are not familiar with working dogs breeds, this can be difficult. However, David's professionalism really shines through.
David is a great pet sitter. He took the time to get to know our cat and his preferences. Equally, Dave frequently sends updates whilst we’re away and his bought supplies if need be, you can’t ask more than that!

David is a brilliant pet sitter. We used him when we had a week away and we rebooked him the same day we got home for our next trip. He really cares about animals and my two cats warmed up to him really quickly. We received daily photos of our cats which was a nice treat and made us feel reassured they were doing well. The Margate Pet Sitter is amazing. David is absolutely brilliant with our dog, who is anxious and is a handful to say the least, Paddy totally adores him. He's really reliable, can jump in a short notice to help with last minute walks, and the overnight stay overs are brilliant when we are away.
