She was eager to sit, despite it being a somewhat short notice (about 10 days). Upon arrival we received pictures of Poppy to let us know that she was in good hands. We also got daily updates in the evenings, which we enjoy. Maureen stayed at our home during the coldest stretch of the year, and came prepared with heating blankets, etc, which we appreciated as we only have space heaters currently. We would be happy to host Maureen any time. Her communication and experience are certainly top notch and your pet will be in great hands!

We were so fortunate that Melanie was available to stay with our 15-year-old cat, Little Bits for 12 days. Our sweet female calico has gotten older and a little more frail dealing with hyperthyroidism. My husband and I were concerned yet hopeful that we’d find the right person to look after her needs. Well, Melanie was a gem; we didn't have a single worry the entire time we were away. We were also very grateful that she was able to arrive the evening before we left so we could go over things in the house and get acquainted. We knew instantly Bits would be in excellent hands. Melanie was watchful and very attentive. Her communication was beyond exceptional and we loved getting updates with photos of our girl. It was obvious that Little Bits was very happy with her new friend. When we returned we found our home clean and in perfect order. Melanie did an amazing job!

We cannot say enough good things about Annemarie and her care of our dog and home. She knows Roo from a prior sit, so within minutes they were best friends again. She kept in touch with us regularly and sent photos of Roo which we loved. He is very stubborn about not eating when we are gone, so she tried different things with our suggestions and permission. Annemarie took excellent care of our home and plants, both inside and out. She even had muffins for our breakfast the morning after we got home! Annemarie is great about handling whatever comes her way. She has emergency numbers, of course, but she has never had to use them thankfully. We will happily have her care for Roo whenever we go away. We know he is in excellent hands.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip! From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative. He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay. While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby! When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom. I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again. You will be lucky if he can do the same for you. :)
