Maureen was a treat from start to finish with our home and cat, Poppy! She is perhaps one of the most organized sitters we have encountered on zeewoi. Her resume speaks for itself. She was eager to sit, despite it being a somewhat short notice (about 10 days). Upon arrival we received pictures of Poppy to let us know that she was in good hands. We also got daily updates in the evenings, which we enjoy. Maureen stayed at our home during the coldest stretch of the year, and came prepared with heating blankets, etc, which we appreciated as we only have space heaters currently. We would be happy to host Maureen any time. Her communication and experience are certainly top notch and your pet will be in great hands!

We cannot say enough good things about Annemarie and her care of our dog and home. She knows Roo from a prior sit, so within minutes they were best friends again. She kept in touch with us regularly and sent photos of Roo which we loved. He is very stubborn about not eating when we are gone, so she tried different things with our suggestions and permission. Annemarie took excellent care of our home and plants, both inside and out. She even had muffins for our breakfast the morning after we got home! Annemarie is great about handling whatever comes her way. She has emergency numbers, of course, but she has never had to use them thankfully. We will happily have her care for Roo whenever we go away. We know he is in excellent hands.

Mae and Ted were wonderful! They took great care of our pets and home and we had a lot of yard watering because we had newly planted trees and plants and no rain! We also had a situation where our hot water heater died literally the night before they arrived and they had to put up with that over a holiday weekend until it was repaired on Tuesday. They are professional, very self sufficient and left our home looking beautiful. I recommend them highly for any situation, we will certainly request them again if the need arises. Robert and Danna are absolutely the best house sitters you could ask for! They sat for us before and were so wonderful with our pets and home, and we were thrilled they returned for another house sit. They are so organized, thoughtful and considerate of our home and our pets routines. Our neighbors all thought they were amazing and kind, too. They shared photos and updates throughout their stay. They also contacted us when there was a potential issue with our dryer. How amazing is it that they took the time to troubleshoot a potential issue? We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Jeannette was the absolute best pet sitter anyone could ask for! She was communicative and easy going. She took very good care of the house, but most importantly she took superb care of my dog, Bodhi. She took him on long walks and fun adventures everyday. While I was out of the country, I received pictures and updates of their "vacation". I loved seeing Bodhi's and Jeannette's smiles in all the photos. They definitely bonded. :) I would highly recommend Jeannette as a pet sitter and also as an excellent person who cares about people, animals, and the planet.

Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)

Linda was an awesome pet sitter for my doggie Brodie! She gave him so much loving attention… he has some separation anxiety at 9 years old & she never left his side! She was so attentive to him & I am very grateful for that! Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! I cannot overstate how much we appreciated Laura's care for Scout and our home, and heartily recommend her as a pet and house sitter. If you're lucky enough to get on Laura's schedule, your pups will be with the most wonderful stand-in dog mom you could have hoped for!

Our pets, particularly our dog, adored her and was really sad to see her go. It is obvious she loves animals and immediately understood the pack dynamics and the pet personalities. She kept the house tidy, litter box clean, and the animals so well loved. Because she was traveling from far away, she stayed with us the night before our trip and the night we came back.
