Eleanor was just the best sitter and the loveliest person! A very interesting and intelligent woman, I would have happily chatted with her all night! (I’m quite a shy, solitary person so that says a lot about her warmth) It was all very last minute as Peggy was due to go and stay with a friend but she had an accident and had to have an operation so I thought it was better she stayed at home. Eleanor looked after her beautifully, followed all instructions diligently including giving medication. Peggy was very taken with her, Fiesta too who apparently brought her a delightful present of a mouse! (A good sign whether you like it or not!) Eleanor is the perfect balance of sensible, practical, caring and affectionate with the animals. She even comforted them both during a storm. The house was spotless and all the laundry done. I really couldn’t have asked for anything more, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her wholeheartedly. Eleanor I so enjoyed meeting you and I hope you’ll come again. Thank you from all of us x

Our experience with Madelein was really positive and she went above and beyond as we had to contact her a couple of times in the week to ask her to do favours for us in the house. We really feel like we landed on our feet having Kimberley and Dean look after our ‘little boy’ Huw. We were newbies to having a house/pet sitter, but Kimberley really held our hand taking the initiative to set up an early meeting and responding quickly to messages. Meeting early really set our minds to rest. At handover we agreed every other day updates on progress which included a photo and a couple of sentences and this really helped us to feel much more comfortable that Huw was being well looked after. It was clear throughout that Kimberley and Dean had considered our profile details, taking Huw to some of his favourite places and also on some new adventures too … including introducing him to a Hollywood star! Their experience with animals, but especially dogs, shows and this helped hugely in understanding Huw’s personality leading to him having a great time - when they left it was clear that he was upset that his new friends were heading off. Kimberley and Dean took great care of our house which was left immaculately clean. Thank you both so much for befriending and looking after Huw.

Kiwi couple looking to explore Europe whilst working remotely
We were so pleased we chose James & India for our first housesit. They are lovely people who are genuine animal lovers and we felt totally comfortable leaving our 2 nervous dogs with them. We received plenty of updates during our holiday and we could see the dogs were happy and being well looked after. We found James & India really easy going and super enthusiastic, it felt like we'd known them for years! We wouldn't hesitate to have them back.

Ellie, Major & Sean. Pet loving home-sitters!
From the moment we met Ellie and Sean we knew they were going to be very conscientious and caring whilst looking after our dogs . Major, their own dog came to stay also . He is a well trained , easy going dog who blended easily with ours . Ellie and Sean have strong attention to detail and gave us confidence that they could manage Cillas medication and both her and Douglas’s routine . The videos sent regularly and photos illustrated how content the dogs were and how they had bonded with Ellie and Sean. Our home was respected and cared for . All my house plants were healthy and they helped to store our large crop of apples. We do hope to see Ellie and Sean again and think they are great house sitters !

Recently had the delightful Audrey complete a 2.5 week housesit in our home to keep our two cats company. Audrey kept us updated throughout her visit with regular e-mails. Our furry friends where happy and relaxed on our return and our home was immaculate. Our neighbours thought her wonderful. The added surprise of supper left in the fridge was a real bonus after our long journey home. Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! Not only did our pets enjoy meeting Kelly and Christopher, my husband and I enjoyed meeting them as well! They are personable and kind, organized and communicative, and most of all excellent pet sitters.
Kelly and Chris are attentive housesitters. They went out of their way to connect with our dogs, especially Smitty, our rescue. The dogs were walked, brushed, and played with throughout the weeklong sit. They sent pics of how our fur babies were doing and truly seemed to enjoy their time with them. Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. Laura is hands down the best sitter that we have ever had care for our pets and house! Having her stay made our trip away so care free and added a super fun layer of getting her daily (morning and night!) updates with photos and videos, some were hilarious I love Laura’s sense of humor! We were gone 8 days and when’s we arrived home our house was cleaner than when we left, mail on the counter, yard was picked up, it was beyond what we would expect. This made our first day back so easy. Oh’ and our pets were so relaxed and happy we knew they were loved and taken care of while we were away. Laura knew that we were coming home late and she even had bought a yummy quiche, rolls, fruit and juice so that we had breakfast in the morning! Laura is responsive, a great communicator, I could go on but simply put she is welcome at our house anytime. Simply the best!! Thank you tons Laura!!

Our miniature dachshund used to be reactive around both dogs and people. He was so nervous that even going outside made him extremely anxious, and he’d bark non-stop at the sight of people or other dogs. We’ve tried other trainers in the past, but they couldn’t get to the root of the problem. We had even considered re-homing him as we felt we'd tried everything. Nessie worked miracles, addressing his reactivity head-on and providing clear guidance on training, along with support whenever needed. She was patient and earned Howie's trust, which made a huge difference. She’s changed both our dog’s life and ours. His world has expanded, and now taking him out is a breeze and not something I fear. A dog who used to hide when I grabbed his lead now eagerly waits by the door. Nessie has also helped with our other dachshund, and both dogs absolutely adore her. Honestly, I can’t recommend Nessie enough!
Our dog is pretty reactive, especially toward some male dogs so it’s pretty hard for me to walk him by myself when needed, so usually my husband walks him as he’s stronger to control him! Found Nessie and did training sessions with her. She gave us clear instructions and techniques to work with our dog! Even though we still need to practice and reinforce all the things we’ve learned from Nessie but I feel lots more confident in walking our dog by myself. Highly recommended!
I cannot recommend Nessie highly enough. With her help and guidance my spaniel went from zero recall to 100% recall. She is a truly intuitive and kind trainer that enabled my puppy to realise his potential.
My Labrador had major separation issues and had been rejected from other day care locations due to his anxiety. I contacted Happy Paws after they were recommended to me by a family friend, and my dog has never been happier. Knowing that I was heading abroad for a period of time, we started a staged process to give my Lab time to get used to being away from me. With Happy Paws experience, patience and expertise we gave him (and me) the confidence to be apart. His every need was taken care of, to such an extent that I was actually worried my dog would not want to come back with me upon my return. If you want a place where your dogs welfare is a priority, where they get mental and physical stimulation, and you know your dog is going to be happy, then I could not recommend Happy Paws enough.
I cannot express how delighted we are with Nessie and Happy Paws. We had a loving but untameable, scent obsessed 2 Year old Cocker Spaniel and now we have the well trained, obedient, and happy dog we always wanted Nessie has a way with dogs (and owners) , her care and attention to both was a sure fire way to achieving our goals. Recommending 5 stars is really insufficient as she is a star herself and gave so much to us and our dog.
Happy Paws's puppy course gave our golden retriever the very best start in life. I was really impressed by how professional and helpful the team were. They obviously really care about dogs, without being overly prescriptive and overbearing in their advice. Highly recommend.

Nessie and her team are brilliant. Our dog Biscuit is really at home in their company and we trust them implicitly with her care. They go the extra mile, taking the dogs on a variety of walks given them the very best experience. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. I have 3 dogs and a cat. Nessie came to stay at my house with them for 10 days. I would have absolutely no hesitation to recommend her, the dogs were happy and well looked after. She is calm and confident, and I am 100% sure she could handle any situation. She is organised and my house was cleaner after her stay then I had left it. We had workmen here too, and she coped with it all. She is expensive, but she is worth it.
Jessie was amazing with our three spaniels. We are not local and were here for my daughter's wedding. Knowing the dogs would be cared for on the day was a huge weight of my shoulder. We received pics of the dogs walking and an update on their return. When we arrived back at our holiday accommodation all three dogs were happy and relaxed. Many many thanks.
