If it was possible to leave 10 stars, we would… Giorgio and Federica were 100% reliable, took amazing care of both pets and the house and the Garden were impecable when they left. They Even mowed the lawn and took care of a fire wood delivery that arrived when we were away. They went well beyond every expectation we could reasonably have to Housesitters! The dog enjoyed long daily walks and both pets were beautifully spoilt with cuddles😍.

Gail and Don were perfect sitters. They took the trouble to change their plans to fit in with ours and they were as good as their word with every arrangement. When they arrived we knew immediately we could leave our place with confidence. The house we returned to was immaculate - better than when we left it, and dogs and chickens were happy and well cared for. We were only sorry not to get to spend more time with them but that is the nature of housesitters. We wish them well on their travels and recommend them for housesitting unreservedly. Christine was our first pet sitter ever and we are very pleased with our collaboration and overall experience. We had regular communication during the sit, she provided pictures and updates. When Daphne needed extra attention and medication due to an injury, Christine was thorough and attentive. All the animals were well taken care off, Christine made sure they were fed as instructed, taken for walks and received their daily love and personal attention. Overall Christine is calm, communicative, straightforward, grounded, attentive, trustworthy, discreet, a true animal lover. We would trust her again with our animals, they were all super happy upon our return home!

Silvana and her partner Auber arrived after our departure and managed to settle in easily, thanks to our neighbour who gave them our keys. I would have preferred to meet them before leaving, but everything went smoothly even with that minor inconvenience. They arrived punctually and took care of our three cats following our instructions. They sent us regularly updates and photos of our pets and we felt everything was under control. We met them when we came back and it was pleasant chatting with them. The house was clean, the cats looked healthy and quiet, everything was in order. I definitely recommend them as they are ready to fit in with your needs, reliable, self-sufficient and helpful.

Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. And when we got home, the house looked great, and the dogs looked calm. We would gladly have them. Sit for us again and highly recommend them.

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Rebecca was the best pet sitter ever! Our chocolate lab, Kona, fell in love with her instantly and loved every minute of being around her. She was extremely attentive to Kona, taking him for daily walks and she did a great job of sending us updates, video clips and photos. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again.
