Pet Sitting in Minehead

The care both my yorkshire terriers had during there little holiday with Angela and Ernie was exceptional. The care given to our dogs was second to none, we had excellent communication from both Angela and Ernie during their stay. We travelled from Manchester for a holiday in butlins, and Iggy Haven welcomed both yorkies with open arms. They stayed I August 22 and will definitely use Iggy Haven again when we are in the south west

Couldn’t fault Angela and Ernie when they had my 8 month old puppy for 4 nights while we visited Butlins. We traveled down from Bolton and left our puppy with them while we went to Butlins Minehead with the children. Daisy settled right in with daily updates from Angela about daisy and what she had been up to. Totally at ease with her staying with them from spending time settling her in before we left her. Definitely recommend them for anyone looking for home boarding for their dogs

Thank you so much for looking after my baby Nala. With very short notice Angela and Ernie were able to fit my little dog in for an overnight stay while we were in the area for a wedding! I would never normally want to leave my dog with strangers in an area she didn’t know but once we got there it didn’t feel like they were strangers anymore! Such a homely, welcoming feel and other dogs there for her to play with, I’m surprised she came home with me once I picked her up! Getting to see where my dog was going to be staying was so reassuring as it’s just doggy heaven with dog beds blankets and toys! Also I got regular updates about Nala through the day and pictures which made me feel so much better. I would always use Iggy haven again if I visited the area and just wish they would move to Liverpool ha! Everything is so professional, friendly and caring and the prices are so reasonable! Considering they are looking after my baby I would expect to pay a lot more than what they charge, just shows what lovely genuine people they are and how much they enjoy looking after our little angels!!!! Can’t thank them enough, hopefully Nala will be back soon to chase the squirrels!

Absolutely home from home dog sitting service you will find. I was holidaying near there but needed to pop to Worcester for my sons graduation for a full day . Angela took on board my two dogs with no fuss. Both my dogs were settled there before leaving and was kept inform throughout the day , highly recommended thanks Angela 👍 …

Wonderful dog sitting service! Would 100% recommend. A nice couple who had our dog for one night and one day, they take in small and medium sized dogs and keep them in their bungalow that is fully equipped for the stay and with a garden for the dogs to run around in. They have a few small dogs of their own who are placid and very friendly and sociable. They also take the dogs down to the local beach for exercise daily. We were able to bring our dog in and spend an hour or so with them and their dogs to make sure we were comfortable with everything and fill in some details on her food habits and any needs she may have. They were really helpful and welcoming even when we rang just two hours before we dropped our dog off. It really was comforting to know she was in safe hands and not locked away in a cage or crate constantly. The price for her stay was also very reasonable and again especially at such short notice. We plan on returning to the area in future and would definitely be booking in with them again.

I would never trust these people ever again, I took my 8 month puppy to them for 2 days of going away which he was perfectly fine and healthy going in and on the day of coming home she texted me saying he can’t move and they think he done something to his back, when arriving to look he was in so much pain and me and 2 of my family members was asking questions of how this could happen they didn’t have a clue which their job is to watch my dog which was shocking and now my dog is in the vets for the 4th day in pain and might have to be put down! After this I would never trust a dog sitters ever in the future

I can’t praise Angela enough. The day I found her was a lucky day. The love and care she has shown our 17 and a half year old terrier Midge is truly beyond what you would ever expect. Iain has been looking after our dog since he was a puppy both for day care when we work or for longer periods when we are on holiday. Red loves going to Iain's and we know he is well looked after, safe and happy. Iain has also fed our cats and hens when we have been away. He is reliable, trustworthy and will look after your animals as if they are his own. I would recommend him 100%.

Iain has taken care of our dogs many times. We used others in the past and it was such a relief to find Iain because we know we are leaving Dexter and Spangles with intelligent people who have a great understanding of animals. It is a lovely location for dogs to stay at and it's important for us to feel we have left our dear canine friends with someone we can trust. Highly recommended.

5 stars doesn’t do Jules justice. She’s simply amazing. Calm, professional and trustworthy. Jules really helped out our family when my sister was in hospital by looking after her cat. It was a really stressful time and Jules went above and beyond our expectations by stepping in at short notice, despite being so busy, and calmly taking over. I highly recommend Jules, she’s passionate about animals and is the best, you won’t regret it!

Iain has looked after my horse several times and I have complete confidence in his care and ability. He is very reliable and has had to step at very short notice at times. Going away for a few days is much more relaxing when you have someone like Iain taking care of things at home. Sent from my iPhone

We have used Iain on two occasions now and have two further bookings with him. When we moved to the area I knew that we would have to start again on finding another dog walker and very impressed we have been with the service as well. The most important thing really is the dogs think the world of him. In case your in any doubt I highly recommend Iain and the service he provides.

Since 2013 Iain has walked, or on hot days pottered, with my dog on numbers of occasions, at short and long notice. He is wholly reliable. I know my dog appreciates his visits as much as I do. It is no exaggeration to say that we could not have managed without him. Thanks Iain.

Jules has looked after our cat during the Christmas holidays and I would definitely recommend her. She is very reliable and genuinely cares about your pet. She sends regular updates and pictures which made me feel more at ease. If you need someone to look after your pet you should definitely contact Jules.

Jules of Taunton did a brilliant job of looking after our two very awkward cats. She went above and beyond what would have normally been expected when having to visit our home on numerous occasions for a few days of our holiday, after one of the cats refused to come in. We would have no hesitation in leaving the cats in her care again. She texted us regularly to keep us up to date, ensuring we were at ease knowing they were in safe and caring hands. Brilliant service!!!

Iain and Kathy looked after my dog Holly for many years. She was always happy to go there and see her doggy friends and I felt she was being well looked after in a homely situation. Thoroughly recommended.

I am abnormally attached to my Guinea pigs, more so since one got old and one got sick and I have a big set up with 2 cages due to some rescues not getting along with the big piggies so I was freaking out and not sleeping at the thought of having to leave them for 2 days. Jules didn't even flinch at the strange and over the top things I asked her to do and was so loving and caring towards them that I was only mildly stressing about them when I was away and that was because of my own anxieties. She did everything I asked, sent photos and lots of updates for me and she was so chill about the millions of notes I left for her because I was in a flap before I left. My girls were relaxed when I got home because their routine never changed. I recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter for their pets. She really went over and above for me last week and I actually would feel comfortable leaving them again which is a big thing for me to say because I'm normally at home alone with them for large parts of the day. Thanks Jules for helping me to be a part of my brother's wedding day and my new godson's christening. You made that happen for me so you are a superstar!

Susan and Al were fantastic with our dogs, Stan & Bertie, as well as our 2 cats and 3 chickens! We had never left our dogs with sitters before and I was slightly apprehensive, but after meeting Susan and Al I realised that our pets were in good hands, both Al & Susan are clearly animal lovers, so much so that I don’t think we were missed at all. I would recommend Little Paws 100%.

Little paws are amazing and look after our pets as if they are their own. Nothing is too much trouble and we always come back to happy contented pets who do not miss us one bit as they are so well cared for. When we walk back through the door after our holiday, everything is immaculate. We highly recommend them as they offer such a bespoke service individually tailored to your pet's every need. Laura tailored the perfect package for us and on our return Bilbo’s happy, relaxed and looking forward to us going away again! Myself & my partner have used the services of Sit Walk & play on numerous occasions for our Labrador Millie. Over the past 18 months we have been away for various occasions such as holiday, weddings etc and we have called upon Laura to look after Millie. Completely hassle free and she moved into our home and has done for many times. We are always happy to leave Millie with Laura & they have become the best of friends. Even when we are around the town and Millie see’s Laura from sit walk and Play, Millie gets very excited and gives her a big sloppy kiss. We have used Sit walk and Play for 2 days and also for long holidays and we get regular pictures and Videos of Millie keeping us updated. I have complete trust in sit walk and Play and will never use anyone else. Trustworthy, reliable, professional and overall Millie our Labrador has gained a best friend. Sit Walk and Play all the way!!!

I was extremely anxious about putting my girl into kennels as she is 12 years old and has never been in kennels. Sue was lovely and really put my mind at rest. I was able to ring up daily and see how she was which was great.

Great kennels. Sue always does a great job with our dogs and they always come home happy healthy and worn out. Thanks Sue would definitely reccomend this kennel to anyone :)

Dogs enjoyed their stay. Kennels were nice & clean. Owner was lovely & very helpful. Reasonably priced. No issues.

Just so you all know the last time I tried to put my dogs in there I was told that they were finished Sue has retired.

Not happy with condition of dog once it had returned from kennels, could tell he had not been exercised very well and his bedding was not clean.
