Best doggie daycare! We often took my dog Echo hiking, but never had this opportunity to let him run wild with other furry friends off-leash before. When we went to pick him up, he acted so happy instead of leave quickly like he used to. So I think he had a good time. I certainly recommend this.

Mammoth is a special place for me, comes here at least once a year, and I was ecstatic I am able to bring my dog this season. They were attentive and answered all my questions prior to driving all the way up from San Diego. My 4 year old corgi, Ichiro, had so much fun hiking off-leash with the pack for the first time. I like how the first visit they spend time introducing your dog to the pack, WITH you in there to see how it goes. I often send him to daycares back home and I never got a chance to see the first visits. They also took time to update me mid day and that was greatly appreciated. I am glad Pup Hiking Company came to Mammoth. I will use their services every time I will be in town. Will definitely recommend to friends too.

Avi and his staff are the best! My male Golden Retriever, Mickey is 18 months old and has boundless energy so this is perfect for him to get some good, structured activity while I ski all day. We've attended at least 10 times and always a good experience, summer or winter alike.

We are very impressed with the Pup Hiking Company. All of the staff we came in contact with were kind and knowledgeable. We rescued our German Shepherd from the animal shelter about 6 months ago and had never left her with strangers. Avi connected with our pup immediately leaving us with a great sense of ease. We watched Avi interact with other dogs and saw that he was very experienced and comfortable with the dogs. Our dog had a great time and came home exhausted from all the exercise and play. It was nice to have two fun days of skiing knowing our pup was happy.

My dog Bear had such an amazing time going on a safe off leash hike with some new puppy friends. He got to play and even go on another hike in the snow. They fed him and took really good care of him! Text me through the day with updates and pictures. It was a breeze to be able to drop him off knowing that he was safe and happy while we went skiing. They also dropped him back off at our hotel when they finished the last hike for the day. I highly recommend this company and I will be using them every time we come out to mammoth!

We were trying to find a way for our 1.5 year old dog to enjoy Mammoth as much as we do and Pup Hiking Company was the answer. I love that they don't just do daycare but they take them hiking. The peace of mind that they have GPS locators on them is great. She came home exhausted and happy (just like us after a day of skiing). My only suggestion is that they move the hours a little later for pickup since it takes a decent amount of time to get off the mountain and to the pick-up location.

This is the best company. Really excellent communication and awesome service, a lifesaver for our pups who had the best time. The photos they provide are so fun. Highly recommend.

Emily is a God send for nervous fur mommas (and dads’) I’ve never left my little Ike with anyone but family, so I was very apprehensive leaving him when our entire family went on vacation together. We did a meet and greet with Emily and her fur family and I was put at ease. Throughout our vacation she sent me daily updates and pictures of Ike which made me feel so much better knowing that he was being taken well care of and loved. Her rates are more than reasonable for what she provides and I plan on using Comfy Paws for future drop offs and extended vacations. You can be rest assured that your pup will be absolutely well taken care of when they are in her care.

Emily is a true animal lover. She understands that our dogs are our children and is happy to send updates throughout the day. My dog Josie loves to spend time with Emily and I just know she is well taken care of when she goes there. Comfy Paws has been taking care of our Sadie for several months. Sadie loves to go to Comfy Paws. We know this because of how excited Sadie gets everytime we drop her off. She gets walked several times a day and she comes home tired. Picture of tired Sadie included.

Emily is a great dog minder. She’s cared for our big dog many times. We never feel guilty dropping him off with her as he LOVES going there. She’s also super responsive and great at sending pic/video updates.

Was so lucky to have found Stacey! Just moved to the area and was worried about who was going to watch them. Stacey was great, stopped by to get to know the kitties, their schedule and personalities. Stacey also checked in each day with updates and photos. I felt secure knowing they were all taken care of. Looking forward to my next trip knowing I won’t have to worry about them.

Our boy Vinz just had his first stay with Stacey and Steven. They were amazing! So patient with our boy since he is still a pup! They sent pictures while we were away and let us know how he was doing throughout his stay. This gave me great peace of mind since it was our first time leaving him. You can see how passionate they both are about animals and love knowing how happy Vinz was. We will definitely be using Pawsome pets again!!

They took great care of my dog, I loved getting pictures, videos and updates daily. My dog came home so happy, clean and well cared for ! The property is well fenced and kept my dog in , she was able to run and explore all she wanted. I loved seeing pictures of her playing with the other dogs, and getting love from Steve and Stacey as well as getting warm by the fire 😎 Highly recommend. They are very affordable.

Our miniature poodle stayed at Pawsome Pet Services while we went on vacation. I received daily text updates and pictures which was great. Buddy got along great with the other dogs it was nice knowing that he was well cared for while we were away. Pawsome Pets is awesome! Like many of us, my dogs are my babies and when they’re at Pawsome Pets, they’re treated like a member of their family! They have full run of the house and yard. I get daily pictures of them playing with other pups or snuggling in the owner’s lap etc. Pawsome Pets allows me to go on vacation without worrying about my babies at all. They think they’re on vacation!!

Our huskies have been clients for many years, its doggie heaven being able to run free and play in the streams. They howl with excitement as soon as we turn off 395, realizing where they're heading. Our family is very grateful for such an amazing place to board our dogs.

We have day boarded our pups here many times - and when we ski mammoth our pups love it here. Last year we left the dogs for a couple weeks. It's like a vacation for the dogs - ponds and big wide spaces to run and play.

Beautiful grounds in Round Valley. The dogs run free during the day and are crated at night. There are no kennels and minimal oversight, but it’s clean. Smaller yards for smaller dogs. My thirty-five pound cattle dog spent the weekend here and was put out in the general yard with larger dogs with the aggressive pack and ‘dog park mentality.’ She came home with a deep scratch across her nose to just under her eye. That said, Donna’s Dog Ranch is not for every dog, but it’s heaven for some.

Amazing! They took such great care of my husky Nami. She was a happy tired pup when we picked her up. She got to romp around outside all day with her new furry friends and it was perfect. Editing after 8 months, we use Donna's every trip we take now, making it easy and stress free to travel! Nami knows where we are going when we turn off the highway and gets super excited. If I could give more than five stars I would.

We traveled up to mammoth and our really big puppy got to come here for a day while we were on the mountain. He had a blast. Allie and Judy were wonderful, very accommodating last minute, and kept our favorite little guy safe all day. He got to play all day while we did too! I highly recommend this place for boarding/ day care! We will definitely be using them again.

It’s hard leaving your fur babies behind even when you’re doing something exciting like hiking Mt Whitney. I am so happy we found these guys! Everyone was super friendly, including the other pups and horse! They did such a good job with our shy girl they had her bouncing around carefree and when we pulled up she didn’t even notice us! 10/10!

It's a miracle I ever found Donna in the first place. Her kennel is unlike any on Earth. Even friends who come to visit from down south admit they haven't seen anything like it before. Rusty the husky is very anxious and hyper-responsive, but he never turns down a stay a Donna's! Unable to explain how comforting it is to have a place you can leave your family member and not have to be worried if they are being taken care of and enjoying themselves!;*) Summer

Horrible experience. The owner (overweight man, poorly groomed, rude) met me and my puppy at the gate. My 10 month old chocolate lab puppy was super excited and jumping up and down as puppies do. The man took her leash and started YELLING at my puppy, “sit” “wait” and “down” while pulling hard on her leash. He then asked me if I had another collar (she wears a harness). I said, no and he said, “this isn’t going to work.” I asked for my money back and left. This man should not be allowed to handle anyone’s dog. I can’t imagine what he would have done to my puppy if I wasn’t standing right there. Jody Martin, Bishop, CA

Sierra Dog Ventures is THE place to send your dog when you're out having a not-so-dog-friendly adventure. My dog Cole is my #1 trail buddy, but when my partner and I wanted to take a day trip to Yosemite, we knew it wouldn't be a good fit for bringing Cole since the park has lots of restrictions on where pets are allowed. Cole got to have his own adventure at "camp" with Sierra Dog Ventures while my partner and I spent the day in Yosemite. Since the trails in National Parks aren't dog-friendly, we would not have been able to pull this day-trip off it weren't for Sierra Dog Ventures. We left at 5am and didn't return until dark. But knowing Cole was having the time of his life with Christi and the dog pack meant we didn't feel guilty about being gone for the full day. Christi picked Cole up from our house and had him out for the full day (about 9am-4pm). We came home to a tired, happy (and still a bit wet from his favorite activity--swimming) Cole.

TBF is the absolute best dog daycare/boarding that we have ever used. The staff is incredibly friendly and remembers each dog by name. They are professional, kind, and make us feel like our dog is part of their family. We wouldn’t be able to have a dog if it weren’t for TBF! Whenever we get in the car to drop our dog off we say “do you want to go see your best friends??” And she loses her mind! She loves it there so much! We are so grateful!!

I feel so grateful that Tahoe-best - friends is here. I've been taking my dog here for many years and she loves it! We had to evacuate our house in the epic winter and I was in a motel , then short term rentals and Willow was boarded at TBF'S while I was at the hotel. Even though I missed her so much, it was comforting to know she was getting great, loving care and enjoying being there with the other dogs and great staff!.

Ventured to Lake Tahoe for my bday & attended the Celeb Golf Tournament…unfortunately my BnB didn’t allow pets. Luckily Tahoe Best Friends was not far & was very affordable/friendly for me & my small dog. Staff was super cool…she(dog) came out unscathed & I know she made friends with all the dogs they keep. They separate the pets by gender which I was happy about. Highly recommend…would utilise their services again.

Colonel Fuzzby, my Ukrainian Grey Lowland Retriever, absolutely loves Tahoe Best Friends, and I think they're pretty great! He is always totally stoked when we arrive, loves playing with his dog and human friends, and almost seems bummed when I come to take him home! TBF is a SLT gem, all the staff are fantastic and truly 'dog people,' and both I and the Colonel highly recommend!!

I have a Chihuahua. Lexi is about 8 years old and she is a rescue dog. She hasn't been around other dogs since my husband and I adopted her a little over a year ago. We have never boarded her or left her with anyone else, so I was very tentative about the whole process. Christian got us all set up on Paw Partner and did the initial one hour evaluation to see if she was suitable in her interactions with other dogs. He answered so many questions for me and took so much anxiety out of the whole process for me. The next day we brought her in and left her for 7 hours. Nina checked her in, put me at ease, and was so gentle with Lexi. She was placed in a room with other small dogs. They posted pictures on Paw Partner so I could see how she was doing and promply returned my call--because I HAD to check on her, of course! They were kind to my baby and patient with me. The 7 hours seemed like an eternity to me, but she had a good time. Slept very soundly that night. No trauma at all and I'm not too sure she missed me as much as I missed her. It was a terrific experience for all of us. I wish Christian and Nina would move to Las Vegas and start a Best Friends there.

We were planning on traveling to lake Tahoe and found this place. We called to inquire about availability and the lady was very rude on the phone. I was simply trying to discuss the setup over 4th of July as my dog get anxious under loud noises like really any dog and we said she may need a retreat. They lady on the phone kept saying my dog was aggressive and asked me what conditions she aggressive under and she told me if my dog bites another dog I would be responsible for it. I kept telling her my dog was not aggressive and she kept insisting that she was. We told the lady that our dog was a Shiba Inu and I believe this lady may have had a bad interactions with a Shiba Inu in the past because she kept insisting our dog was aggressive. She said "I know what a Shiba is". I told her you keep insisting that our Shiba is aggressive and she is not she plays with other dogs, we take her to the dog park and she is very friendly. I asked her to stop insisting my dog is aggressive and she raised her voice and said "you know what we don't need your business here!!" And then she hung up. Very rude!! Horrible customer service. And so uncalled for. Wow really taken back.

Were only in town for the weekend and found them through the Paw Partners app to let our dog go to daycare while we did some non dog friendly activities around town for day. They were absolutely amazing, great space and all the dogs seemed so happy in their care. Our dog loved it there and we definitely will be using them next trip down to Tahoe! Also very nice they’re open 7 days a week :)

Jess is awesome & I appreciate her so much! Highly recommend. My husband and I work 12 hour shifts and we leave too early in the morning to drop our dog off at her house so Jess will go pick her up & keep her until we head home and pick her up! That is so helpful. My dog Kahlua loves going to Jess’ house & loves her dog cheese! I always get updates and photos and Jess is super communicative. She has a big fenced yard and all the pups have tons of fun!

Working with Jess has been seamless and such a godsend. Excellent communication and easy to schedule and accommodate different walking/pet sitting needs. My dog LOVES her. While visiting Tahoe this summer, we needed a warm and caring environment for our puppy dog while we went out on the lake. Tahoe Paradise Pet Sitting was the perfect place. They accommodated our need to drop her off in the early morning and was gracious to meet with us the day before to ensure we were comfortable leaving her with them. It’s an open environment with a big back yard for roaming… no cages or locking her up. They even offer to take her for a walk if we wanted. We highly recommend Jess and will definitely use them again if needed on our next trip.

My pup and I both enjoy going to our sessions...the place is welcoming and friendly, and Tonda is a true professional who is clearly passionate about what she is doing, and cares about your dog's journey. Every dog is different I'm sure, but as for my boy Sam, the results have been amazing! He responds well to all her methods so far; and perhaps more importantly I have learned so much about what makes my dog tick and what I can do to train him myself. I highly recommend some one-on-one sessions with Tonda, they are worth every penny!

Tonda held private trainings at her facility for our 4 month Bernese Mountain Puppy and has been helping with some behavior modification with our 2 year Labrador covid puppy. Overall, it has been a great experience with so much valuable information on puppy training and dog behavior. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and really listens to the owners concerns. Tonda is WONDERFUL! We boarded our four year old German Shepard Dog, Koda, for the first time while going on a weekend trip to Lake Tahoe. We had access to the doggy cam and were able to check on Koda throughout our time away. We took a training class with Tonda which left us speechless regarding the knowledge and care she has for the dogs. I have never met someone as dedicated and empathetic to dogs as Tonda is. We have a 13 year old somewhat dog-aggressive terrier mix and we decided to try out her boarding facility after having bad luck with other sitters. I couldn't believe how happy and relaxed our (usually anxious) dog was when we picked her up!! And she had a chance to SAFELY socialize with other dogs in a way that allowed her to be curious but also set her boundaries. Even after so many years with my dog, I feel like I learned so much about her behaviors through Tonda. She's definitely our first choice anytime we need to board our pup!

Our Nami was well taken care of, she has not stopped prancing. She is a nine year old husky and it was her first grooming appointment. I was nervous but there was no need to be. She has never been this clean (or white hah), so much shedding was reduced, and her little paws were trimmed to perfection. Thank you for taking such great care of my baby!

My dog has never been groomed before, and Spoiled Rotten took such good care of him! He came back with a beautiful new look, was so happy, and even had a brand new neck bandana that they gave him. They even let him stay after his appointment time while we were running around town doing errands and coordinating for our wedding.

My dog Buddy lost his regular groomer at PetSmart Costa Mesa. While on vacation here, my dogs got super dirty so I took them in for grooming. Spoiled Rotten Pet Salon did a Fantastic job with both of my dogs. Buddy has never had a better cut! Highly recommend!!! Thanks so much!!!

They got back to me right away and we were able to book baths and haircuts for our 2 pups. Very friendly and they did a fantastic job!

Pet Sitters Plus takes great care of my animals when I am away. They leave a detailed list of time of arrival and departure as well as what they did while at the house.

Great Service. They are very friendly and thorough. We felt very better leaving our cats at home, rather than having to bring them to a kennel. Pet Sitters even left notes regarding their daily visits to care for them. Highly recommended.

You can tell they love taking care of your pet. The facility is very clean, they are very organized. My dog is very relaxed there. This is the only place I will leave my dog when I go on vacation.
