I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!

Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

I felt that my dogs were in good hands with Billy & Cherice - both pups seemed happy and well cared for when I returned from my 3-week trip. My home was also clean and tidy. This was my first experience using an unknown sitter and I felt nervous to leave my dogs for so long while traveling abroad. If they were to stay again I would request more regular photo updates, but otherwise was very happy with Billy and Cherice's pet and home care.

Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I was very happy to find this gem of a pet sitter. My dog is so wary of strangers and now has a new friend. What a highly dedicated animal lover who is willing and able to understand dogs that are a little weird. I would highly recommend.
All I can say is Alicia loves animals. I am literally stunned every time I see and talk to her, how big of a heart she has. Why is this important? Trust me, your pet is in good hands with her!

On every Wednesday there is doggy day care. The dogs all have such a great time and all go home tuckered out which is a good thing. Even our oldest senior gets playtime in.

The staff there are always so happy to see her and sometimes give me a review of how she did and what friends she had made that day. The only thing I could maybe critique is the cameras to check on the pups aren't great quality but now that she's so happy to go every few days, I trust these beautiful humans to take care of my baby girl. We have been taking our border collie puppy Dexter here for a few months now for daycare. They always take great care of him! He gets so excited when we pull up, and is always tired coming home. The staff there are friendly- we especially love Izzy, they always gives us nice little updates on how his day went! It's really nice that they have cameras as well, where we can check on Dexter throughout the day. The last few months he has grown a lot, turning into a nice young adult dog and we have them to thank for helping with that!
Absolutely Love and Highly recommend The Furlough Dog Daycare. I have two large dogs a Husky and a German Shepard which are difficult to find overnight stays or grooming, not for The Furlough, they are amazing. I use them for a dog play day, to let them mingle with other dogs in an amazing and safe environment or more recently a few nights vacations for the family I was able to board my dogs. My dogs love this place. Grooming is great too!! Thank you Furlough!!!
After having a few bad experiences at another facility with Titan, a previous dog I owned, I decided to groom him myself. I currently have 2 Keeshond dogs, Maive and Maverick. There is NO way I could groom them! I have only ever gotten them groomed here, and don’t plan on going anywhere else! Why would I? They ask me what I want for them. They follow through with the directions I give. They do it with a smile on their face. The best part is they do a beautiful job!
I have gotten my dogs groomed there and I have bored them there. I love this place they live on my dogs and take great care of them. I won't go anywhere else!!

I read all the reviews and a family friend recommended this place to me. I needed a place for my dog to be boarded for Thanksgiving week. This place is so nice and friendly. The staff members really care for your fur baby while you are away. There are nice dogs everywhere. My little husky-mix, Plum made lots of friends both human and canine while she stayed there. Miss Plum was so happy so she and I will definitely return to the Furlough for sure.

We love Doggy Daycare and Spa in Okemos. We board our dog here often, as well as, we have a standing daycare day every week. We joke that our dog loves daycare more than he loves being at home. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I never worry leaving my dog in their hands, I know he is treated with love and compassion. Thank you Doggy Daycare!
Very professional and friendly staff. I have been taking our young dog there for several months now. They emphasize safety and help with training. I feel very comfortable and safe leaving him in their care.
I’ve taken my dog here many times to get her groomed but we will not be returning. While the staff is very nice after I picked up my dog I later saw that two of her paws were bleeding from her dewclaws getting cut. I spent $80 to get my dog back bleeding. Very disappointing.
Extra careful n considerate with your pet. They do an excellent job with the grooming. And the people are very very polite.
AWESOME! I've been taking my goldendoodle here 2 times a week for approx 2.5 years now. She LOVES it, as do I. She's made lots of friends, she plays all day then (for the most part) collapses when she gets home - YES!!! =D The employees love my dog almost as much as I do and Suzi (one of the groomers there) does an OUTSTANDING job on my Ginger! 2 thumbs up! Been taking our dog here for years. He loves it. They trial dogs for appropriate socialization before allowing regular attendance. If you have standing weekly visit you get priority on boarding meaning it's pretty much guaranteed with almost no notice, which is nice. Plus dogs play as a group all day. If you don't mind the rates your dog will think it worth it.
I love that this place doesn't except Pitbulls! They're showing prudence and looking out for there employees, patrons and other dogs. Pitbulls were bread to kill an serve no purpose in the modern world. Despite only making up 3% of the dog population, they account for 60% of human fatalities. All pitbulls, and quite frankly all snub nosed dogs are time bombs waiting maul people. All pitbulls need to be put down for the safety and betterment of society. I was quite pleased this place does not expect them. I feel safer bringing our dog here.
My interviewed at four daycares in the area. This one definitely has the best facilities and space for the dogs. I also love that my dog smells nice every time when he gets home. There was one incident happened when my dog attended the daycare, but the owner made substantial efforts in addressing all the concerns that my husband and I have. I recommend this place and would be willing to pay higher rate and bring my dog back if there’re live cameras in the future.
We sent our three dogs to the Okemos location for years, and they LOVE it! It was so convenient to drop them off first thing in the morning and pick them up after work when they were groomed and tired from an entire day of play. They were also great at accommodating grooming for all three dogs (one Bernedoodle and two Great Danes) on the same day, which would be a challenge for most groomers. We recently moved to Traverse City, and I haven’t been able to find a facility that comes close to offering the same level of service, convenient hours and daycare setup that is offered at Doggy Daycare and Spa. We will truly miss this place, and I absolutely recommend it!! If they ever open a TC location, we’ll definitely be there!
