Pet Sitting in Mount Morris

What a joy and an honor it was to have Phyllis and Jerry care for my home and my pets. I could write an epistle to describe in detail how much they did and how well they accomplished each responsibility. Our correspondence began many months ahead of my posted dates. Throughout this time, we stayed connected, and as we got closer, we shared more details about my home and care for the pets. Response time was prompt, friendly and courteous. They were incredibly flexible and understanding when I had to adjust my flight time and date. They arrived early on my departure day so we could have time for orientation, lunch, and conversation. Phyllis and Jerry were meticulous in following the instructions I left for cat and home care. They were dedicated to assuring me that things at home were going well by sending pictures of the cats included with special vignettes. They were respectful of my home and took great care of everything as if it were their own. For example, when the hose unexpectedly burst in the back yard on a hot day, they carried water in a bucket to my young Arbor Vitae trees. They are the kind of people who go the “extra mile” based on their high values and elevated work ethics. When I returned home, everything was glistening and spotless. The carpets had been vacuumed, the laundry completed, the dishwasher and waste baskets emptied, the stove shined, and the kitty litter was scooped and cleaned. My fur babies were happy and relaxed, an indication that they had excellent care while I was away. A delightful surprise was the colorful Autumn gift basket and note they left on the counter. I highly recommend Phyllis and Jerry in every way. They exceeded my expectations and fulfilled every task. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and fun to be around, and both have had a wide variety of experiences that translate into good common sense and wise decisions. It was truly my privilege to have the opportunity to meet them and to benefit from all they had to offer me, my home, and my cats.

We have used Wendy and Dave several times and they are the best! Our cats get more attentive care from them than they do from us, and our apartment is always left spotless. We have been very blessed to have them.

We are so beyond pleased with Rebecca and her husband’s care for our home and our fur family! We came home to happy and well cared for animals, and our home was spotless. Rebecca was communicative throughout her stay, sending us pictures and updates. They are welcome back any time!

Carrie and Ben and the dog Crumley were absolutely wonderful. We immediately felt at ease with them and our dog Bella and Crumley became best buddies. We are looking forward to their coming back if their schedules permit.

Judy and her daughter were absolutely wonderful. They took such good care of our dog that she was been searching for them and seems sad they are gone. They took great care of our home too, and sent us many pictures of their adventures on dog walks when we were gone. I highly recommend them and am very grateful for their loving care.

Jill and Dan were brilliant. A really delightful and thoughtful couple. Took the best possible care of our elderly dog, organised their lives around her needs, gave her her medication, sent us regular updates on how she was, couldn't have done more. AND looked after the house beautifully, and welcomed us with a delicious supper when we came home! Thank you very much Jill and Dan!!

Shelly was great. I could not have asked for a better sitter. My boys made it easy by being well behaved.

Theresa was great at communicating, asking for clarification when it was needed and for keeping our home in good shape. She sent photos of our cats, & spoke lovingly about them. You'd be lucky to have her at your home!

Joel was respectful and very good about communicating with us before and during his sit. He had a family emergency after the first night and had to leave early, but we appreciated that he drove back to our house the next day to feed our cats. When we arrived home, our cats were healthy and satisfied. My only complaints are that their separate feeders were left open, so they likely ate each other’s food (they have different diets), and their litter boxes were quite full. I am sure Joel would have been a great sitter had he not had to deal with his emergency.

The house was immaculate when they arrived, freshly painted and thoroughly cleaned. We returned to a dirty, stove and fridge. which they admitted to. They used paper products while claiming to have only used 1 roll of TP for two people over 3 weeks., As well, consuming non perishable food, liquor and beer without replacing as agreed and in the contract. The cats both lost a pound each, their pan wasn't cleaned as requested. They left the house unlocked with the garage door open on two occasions. They seem to have misplaced cutlery, They had smokers in our stated, non smoking house, they disabled outdoor security cameras, front door and outdoor patio, Then left before we returned so we could not confront them. And to my amazement, they appear to have dropped something on my garaged car's windshield and cracked it. They complained about resetting house breakers after a thunder storm, Pumping water out of our overflowing pool in a torrential rainstorm and adding a chlorine puck, , They failed to water the garden so most of it died. This, while having thorough instructions before we left and then cheerfully claiming to be enthusiastically competent and when reminded, claimed they had done so. Neighbors sent us pictures and the cats pan is automated and sends reports as to cleaning requirements. They over promised and under delivered
