My dog Storm absolutely loves them, she is always so exited to get in. The staff is super friendly and nice not just to the dogs, but to the owners too. They always send me photos and videos of Storm having a blast, and are always on top of everything.

I needed someone to take care of my two cats while I was away for a week, and the pet sitter I found was absolutely fantastic. The service provided was exceptional, with daily updates and photos of my fur babies. Their attention to detail and genuine love for animals shone through. The quality and value of this service exceeded my expectations.

We found the #1 doggie daycare in California! We recently moved across country and looked at every doggy daycare/day/pack adventures in the Bay Area and nothing compares to PTSM. Our Shiba Inu loves her "home" away from home and always runs into daycare without a second look back. From the moment we reached out to Tommy, he was very communicative and accommodating. He even got our dog to eat on a normal schedule (all you Shibe owners will understand), which no daycare has done before. The entire staff is amazing and truly loves getting to know the dogs. We've interacted with just about everyone and we get daily photos/videos of our dog playing from Christina, Amy, and Manolo. We can tell from the photos, the staff goes above and beyond to include our dog in the pack. We also use their dog transportation services and yes, our girl loves hanging out with Troy in the "bark bus." One thing we noticed right away is the facilities are so clean and there are comfy beds, blankets, toys for the dogs. A big bonus is they have a door that leads to an outdoor space and our Shibe loves to sunbathe outside. There is nowhere else we will send our dog unless they replicate PSTM - thank you to the best crew!

It is absolutely adorable how much they love my puppies, and how much my puppies love it there! Every weekday morning, Choco and Oreo head directly to the door as I'm getting ready, and run in when we arrive. Their happiness shows through the photos I receive throughout the day, and it makes my day seeing them happy!

Pet Sitting to the MAX is incredible. When my husband and I took our then 1-year old puppy to Pet Sitting four years ago, we did not know how much she would fall in love with the place and people, who have consistently treated her (and the spirited brother we acquired for her a year ago) like family despite her antics. The staff truly love animals, and it shines through. Very few things make my dogs happier than mentioning that we are taking them on a car ride to daycare, and Pet Sitting is one of the places we will miss most as we leave the Bay Area.

Amy and team are professional and go above and beyond! Outstanding service, care and love for my fur babies. My husband and I went our of town and for the first time hired outside help to come check on our 2 cats. Amy went above and beyond and provided excellent service: -vacuumed and tidied our place -changed cat liter -played with both cats -spent decent time in our apartment for each visit -gave my cats the love and attention they needed and rewarded them with some treats What I also appreciated was the updates when she did visit. Updates included pictures and video of the cats, as well as what she did while she was there. Truly professional and fantastic experience as well as great value for the price. Would 100% recommend amy and team and go through them again in the future.

Very friendly staff. My dog loves it here. He's a little old, but whenever I pick him up from here he's got a little spring in his step! The place is clean and they are always bugging me about my vaccinations, which means all the dogs are up to date so I always feel good about leaving my dog here.

Best daycare that we've found in California. Dogs play all day, unlike at Petsmart. Their 7am to 7pm hours are convenient for us. The staff is friendly and genuinely cares about your dog. Our dog hates the car, but gets really excited when he figures out that we're going to daycare.

We have used their services to house-sit our cat Faye when we were on vacation. Our sitter was timely and sent us regular updates. The whole experience was up to the mark.

My dog, Pluto, loves walking with Reid and his crew. I really like the socialization aspect of the walks and that Pluto gets a chance to be with his other paw pals. We have used Reid’s dog walking services for the last couple of years and it has been an awesome experience. Reid and his crew is punctual, attentive and loving with my pup. It is always great to get the updates about the distance they walked. I especially enjoy seeing the pics taken during their playtime and walk. He’s usually punctual, but when life happens—like unexpected weather—he’s quick to let me know about any changes. The icing on the cake is the post-walk reports they send, letting me know where they walked, whether my dog peed or pooped, and how she behaved, and sometimes even photos of my dog from her walk with other dogs or at the park. A friend referred us to Reid last summer. Our dogs are shepherd mix's and potentially reactive to other dogs. When we visited Reid's house for boarding, he immediately came out with treats for our dogs. Then he brought out one other dog at a time to meet our dogs. Very smart. Made them feel welcome. Our dogs need boundaries AND love, which Reid provided. Our plans changed and we ended up having Reid walk our dogs several times. He was great at taking care of his walking pack of dogs. We feel lucky to have found him and can recommend him to others without reservation.

Reid is an amazing dog walker. Buddy loves to go with him and the other dogs. Buddy has better manners since he started. Reid not only gives the dogs a long walk but then gives a report and accompanying pictures of the walk. I’m so thankful to have found Reid for my Buddy.

We’ve been bringing our pup to CityDog since we adopted her 3.5 years ago and we are so grateful for having this place to bring her to. It’s conveniently located in Mountain View and we feel safe and secure with she is in their care. Our dog is introverted and we love how she gets to sit off to the side or interact when she wants to. She loves having the windows to look out for her mommies and we love that she gets that stimulation to watch the outside world. My favorite thing is the greetings we get upon arrival when everyone knows our dogs name and makes her feel welcome! The manager Carolyn has given us so much comfort and has shown how much she loves and cares for each and every dog. She’s auntie Carolyn! The staff are all hands on deck when things get busy and we appreciate their efforts! This is the only place we trust boarding Gemma as we know the staff will be mindful and attentive to our dog’s needs for her dietary restrictions and meds, walks, etc! We love CityDog!

I have been bringing my pup here for a few weeks and he has really been enjoying it. I purchased a boarding package up front so they were even kind enough to comp us a few day care visits so that he could get used to the facility before he stayed there for a few days straight. I loved the access to the cameras as well, it was great being able to check in on my pup from across the country and see that he was doing well!

We took our 8-month-old Toy Poodle, Sushi, to City Dogs for her grooming, due to its convenient location. Our initial visit was a bit rocky due to a slight delay leading to miscommunication with our groomer, Jessica, resulting to a haircut that was adorable but not exactly what we wanted for Sushi. However, the manager, Carolyn, was very understanding and accommodating about our concerns. On our second visit, Jessica ensured a better communication, provided excellent service, giving Sushi a fantastic haircut and ensuring she was comfortable throughout the process. The staff at City Dogs, especially Jessica and Carolyn, are professional, patient, and genuinely care about delivering quality results and understanding pet owners' expectations. What impressed us most was their commitment to service quality, timely grooming, and their ability to create a safe place for our pups. We highly recommend City Dogs for reliable and top-notch grooming services.

I have a very energetic young boxer mix. He was getting into too much trouble at home due to boredom. Since he comes to Citydogs a few half days for playtime, he is so much happier and easier to manage. They do an awesome job supervising and keeping pups busy. And it is so obvious that the whole staff loves the dogs,which has not always been the case at other places in my experience. My pup and I love Citydogs!

Our pup loves coming here! We’ve brought her here several times already for daycare, boarding and grooming. She seems to always have a blast and she’s totally exhausted by the time we bring her home. The staff is very friendly and attentive and I feel very comfortable leaving our pup here in their care.

City Dog in Mountain View is perfect! Awesome manager and super friendly staff. Great facility that is clean and well kept. We had a wonderful first grooming experience . Webcam in the daycare pens to let you check on your dog. Haven’t used their boarding services yet but will not hesitate when we need it.

I was very happy with the bathing and grooming the first few times I took my dog there. At that time I would have given 5 even 10 stars. However, a couple of weeks ago I brought my elderly dog there for her prescheduled bathing apt. I was told the person did not want to bath her because she (the person) was experiencing Mental Health issues. I get it, life is very difficult, trust me I get it. However if she knew she was not mentally able to bath dogs that day then she should have taken the day off of work. I have a disability in one hand/arm, teach full time and care give to my elderly parents. I definitely understand how hard life gets. It was really frustrating to find out at the actual time of the appointment. Additionally if I canceled the minute of my dog's bath appointment I would have still been charged for the apt. Do better please. IMPORTANT update- A manager from City Dog reached out to me. She, as the manager, apologized for my experience and gave me a free dog bath. I am very thankful for her Professionalism.

Matt and his team have been wonderful to my 2 year-old GSP. She is high energy, so the 2 days a week that she goes with Matt has been a life-saver for me. My dog is able to get her exercise and social time in while I get a lot of work done. A win for both of us. She is excited to see him every time and comes home fulfilled from her activity. She has also boarded with Matt and did very well. Matt takes great care of all the dogs and treats them like his own. I highly recommend him if you're looking for dependable, quality dog services.

My golden retriever has the absolute best time with Matt and Joseph at daycare! He’s always so excited to see them and waits for them in the window. We’ve also boarded him with Matt as we wouldn’t trust anyone else to handle our high energy pup, Matt is professional, knows what he’s doing and is a dog guy!

Matt and Pawfection are the best! Matt has walked and cared for my two German Shorthaired Pointers for more hours than I can count over the years. On top of walking and looking after the pups, Matt provides great training advice and helped me work through one dog’s separation anxiety. Matt is super-aware of the dogs health conditions and will work with you and your vet on treatment, etc… if your pup is having a health issue. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Matt has been taking care of our three Vizslas since they were puppies. He is so great with our dogs and they just love him. I never worry when they are with Pawfection Pet Care. Everyone on Matt’s team is exceptional!!!

I credit Pawfection with how happy and well socialized Bobby, our 75-lb brindle mix, is and continues to be. Bobby has been in daycare (play and/or hiking) with Matt and his team 5 days/week for the past 6+ years. He also boards with Pawfection at least a few times a year when we go on vacations where we can't bring him. We initially chose Pawfection because of its convenient pickup/dropoff service, but have remained loyal clients because of the high quality care and genuine love of dogs that Matt and his team provide. After all these years, Bobby is still excited when the Pawfection van pulls up, and we are thrilled that he has somewhere safe to play and socialize while we are working.

Matt has been caring for our dog, Fallon, since she was a few months old, and she just turned 5. Matt genuinely loves the dogs, and they love him! I never worry when Fallon is with Matt, as I know she probably feels like she’s on vacation. She is always so happy to see him! Matt is reliable, trustworthy, flexible and truly goes above and beyond, helping with anything you might need from training, advice, assistance with vet treatments, etc. I highly recommend Pawfection!

We love Pawfection Pet Care!! please keep in mind like most dog owners, we are extremely careful with our French Bulldogs- it takes a lot to entrust your pups to anyone and Matt is wonderful! He is extremely responsible and we have always felt that our dogs were safe and happy. Matt is a dog whisperer but also firm enough to not allow any misbehaving. Our older Frenchie was having some issues at first about eating and Matt kept us updated with progress/status reports every time- we didn't ask for that, but it's just the kind of person he is. we have also noticed our dogs have become much more social and better mannered with other dogs after spending time with Matt. Five stars, thumbs up, all of it. Matt and Pawfection are the best!!

Matt has been looking after my Alaskan Klee Kei a few times a week for almost 5 years and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s been. Tuxedo is always happy to be picked up for his adventures and is excited to go for walks with his friends!

We have been bringing our pup, Spiritt, for a year and a half. Initially, she was shy and needed more socialization. We couldn't be happier with how she has blossomed! The facilities are well maintained, the staff is caring and attentive (they once called to let us know about a minor health problem they observed which we greatly appreciated) and we feel very comfortable leaving her at Sweet Doggies for daycare as well as extended overnight stays. She is always excited to see her pup pals! Additionally, when we pick her up, the staff is kind enough to provide updates on her day and the pup friends she plays with. We also appreciate the social media updates and photos they routinely post as well as the opportunity to observe her on their live video feed. We usually send our dog to Santa clara location but send him for boarding here at Sunnyvale. I love that I can see him through camera. The boarding reservation and application process is smooth and easy. The staff are kind and nice. My dog loves it here!

Absolutely the best dog daycare in the United States. I, and my dog best bud, are lucky to be clients at Sweet Doggies, and each day they just keep on getting better. There is no other dog daycare and boarding as superb as Sweet Doggies. My dog and I are lucky and so grateful to be clients of theirs.

While staying in San Jose for a month we took advantage of the day care option for our toy Aussie. We found Sweet Doggies to always be clean, kind, and friendly. The staff are sweet - just like the doggies. The dogs are all small and there weren’t too many so our Aussie didn’t get as overwhelmed as he has in day care at home with lots of dogs. We also like to be able to view on line during the day. We will definitely keep using Sweet Doggies.

We love this place. My one dog has been a regular since 2012 or so. My newer rescue has also been a regular since 2016. Daycare helped my dogs be more social and stay busy and gives me peace of mind with long commuting or work days. The staff is always willing to accommodate any needs and take good care of the dogs in general. The crate free and no bark ambience is low stress. They have webcams also we see whenever our dogs are boarding. Great people and service

Sweet Doggies is the best!! We adopted our first dog recently and she has a lot of fears around new people and dogs. The staff have really supported and accepted her. They now regularly send us videos of her playing with other dogs and it makes us so happy! We have taken our dog there for workdays, a weekend, and a 9-day trip so far. You can tell this place is filled with so much love and genuine care. And they have an awesome Instagram account with wonderfully silly posts everyday.

We LOVE Sweet Doggies!! Our dog has been going to Sweet Doggies for almost 2 years now. The staff is super friendly and so is the owner, Evan.. The staff treats our dog like family. Super attentive! They post on IG, send videos. Our dog goes to both locations but mostly Sunnyvale as it’s closer to work and our home. When we travel we would never entrust anyone to take care of her but Sweet Doggies! Our dog is super happy and she loves going to Sweet Doggies!

I can't believe in the span of 7 years and 2 dogs, both of them went to Sweet Doggies and always had a wonderful experience. My first dog Ellie went around 2015 until she got sick and they were so understanding that we couldn't finish the day care package. A few years later we got another rescue pup and since Ellie was a member, her membership was grandfathered over so Teddy did not have to wait on their very busy wait list. He goes once a week and loves the staff and dogs there. Every time we see him post day care he is so pooped out. I love the attention the staff gives including regulating play times and even those security cameras where you can see what is going on. I love their transparency and what they stand for as a great dog day care facility. Thank you to the SD team! <3

We used Sweet Doggies when my fiance and I went out of town for a weekend to give them a trial run and were very pleased with our experience. They run doggie boarding very differently than most typical boarding places. The dogs are never caged - they are each given their own little living quarters that is gated off in an area. They also get to all play together during the day which is nice. I thought that the staff was really nice and open with us. The one complaint that I have is that I feel like their billing system is a little iffy. They have very strict pick up and drop off times, which makes sense from a business standpoint, but I thought in some cases the pricing was unfair. Then again, they do have an amazing deal where you get free daycare for your dog to test them out in the beginning. Also, I really don't have a strong comparison point since this is my first dog since I've become a real person who pays real bills.. so I may just have gone into it with unrealistic expectations. Overall, the service and experience that our dog had won us over. We plan on using Sweet Doggies for our boarding needs from this point forward. :)

We love taking our Miley to Lucky Buddies Pet Sitting! Miley is a very shy dog and takes a little bit to open up. Initially, we were concerned about her adjustment, but after her first daycare visit, she loved it! It was such a relief to see our timid girl so eager and happy to go back. We feel completely comfortable knowing our pup is in the capable hands of the staff at Lucky Buddies. The atmosphere is so welcoming that it feels like we are dropping her off at a friend's or family member's house. We have complete trust in their care for our baby girl. We also utilize their boarding services in addition to daycare, and each time we leave Miley with them, we do so without any worry or anxiety. The confidence we have in Lucky Buddies Pet Sitting is immense, and they truly make your dog feel like part of their family. A special shoutout to Chelsea, whom our Miley absolutely adores! Chelsea has been so helpful in Miley's smooth transition and has formed a beautiful bond with her. Miley gets incredibly excited whenever she sees Chelsea, which speaks volumes about the care and affection she receives. In summary, we highly recommend Lucky Buddies Pet Sitting for both daycare and boarding. Their exceptional service, loving staff, and reliable communication make them stand out. They treat Miley like one of their own, and we couldn't be happier with our experience.

They have been absolutely amazing with our 1.5 year old cat where we had to leave the country for a month to visit our parents. Alex and the team really made her feel comfortable (she is a shy cat). So definitely recommend Lucky Buddies to whoever really wants to be stress free whenever you can’t be around your fur babies for long!

I will readily admit that I am one of those crazy dog moms - my pup is a full member of our family and I am very particular about her experiences. I checked out four different doggie daycares in the area before deciding to try out Lucky Buddies - and Lucky Buddies blew the competition out of the water. As other reviewers have mentioned, Lucky Buddies provides excellent care for pets - the staff are well trained, passionate, and friendly. They really get to know your pet and meet them where they're at. Neko started attending at 4 months old (she's now 13 months old), and the folks at Lucky Buddies have been so patient with her wild puppy and teenage months. They work with me on her training, and they clearly love her for who she is. And Neko loves going to both daycare and overnight boarding! The level of professionalism demonstrated at Lucky Buddies continually amazes me. The staff communicates frequently, and Yesica and Alex are always adding new improvements with the dogs' best interests in mind. I would not trust any other facility with Neko; Lucky Buddies is her home away from home, and I'm so glad we have them in our lives.

am so happy to have found Lucky Buddies! I've owned three dogs over the course of the past 20 years and have boarded them at 4 different locations. This is hands down, BY FAR the absolute best. I realize at first glance it seems expensive, HOWEVER, when you realize the overnight price is for 24 hours and includes the wonderful daycare program, it's very reasonable. The staff are just wonderful and clearly love animals--all are treated the way staff would treat their own pets. Among the many things I appreciate are the regular messages and photos they took during my pet's stay and posted on the portal as well as emailed or texted owners (depending on your preferred communication). The best proof, of course, is how happy my dog was during the stay and when I picked her up. Yes, she was glad to see me but clearly she was not anxious to leave (as has been the case in a different boarding place). Don't even hesitate; this is the place to go. Your pet will love it and love you for taking him/her there. For the first time in a very long time, I don't feel guilty about leaving a pet behind when I travel.

I had to go for an unexpected trip and was in a hurry to find a good overnight daycare for my cat. The staff was very patient with him, and he was even able to warm up to the staff in the short amount of time he stayed with the Lucky Buddy staff. Very grateful for the care and frequent updates the staff provided!

To say Yesica & Juan are doggy whispers is an understatement!! They seriously have been so flexible with my fur babies- Ollie & Sadie. having a place that can take in last minute requests is a plus! I cannot thank them enough for taking in my babies when need be. And of course keeping up with them via Instagram is also a relief! You get to see what the Buddies are all up to throughout the day! It’s always an adventure being posted on their. I cannot leave out all the doggy activities they do (you get to take home & let your doggy be creative) as well as all the themed festivities, a holiday? Believe Lucky Buddies will be celebrating it! Like Valentine’s day, St Patrick’s Day, Christmas, Halloween… etc., they do it all! These guys go above and beyond to ensure every dog gets enough exercise, play time, cuddles, food, treats… the whole nine yards! It’s the best.. i’m forever thankful for their service and love to my babies.

Roxie has been going to Lucky's Buddies for that past year. Yecenia and Juan are great with her. When I went on vacation to Egypt they even picked Roxie up at my house! We began taking our puppy to Lucky Buddies a few months ago and have been so happy with their care! We've done daycare, boarding, grooming, and will soon start some in house visits as well. Our puppy loves playing with the other dogs, and always comes home happily tired and engaged. They are great at updating us, and we love catching glimpses of our pup's day on their social media accounts too! They use the timetopet app which has also been super easy to use and book services, they've also been very responsive to questions. We love Lucky Buddies so far!

Joji loves spending time at Lucky Buddies. I love seeing the videos of him playing and receiving daily reports cards with photos. He used to be a shy puppy, but he has become so social and playful after his stays with his buddies. He also enjoys the neighborhood walks and gets a bath before coming home! We really appreciate the love and attention that Joji receives from Lucky Buddies.

Danielle is super professional and took great care of my four cats for two weeks! Everyday she sent me an update about my babies wellbeing and pics, she answered all my messages really fast. I used to leave my cats at pet hotels when we travelled, but my cats loved staying in the house, it was less stressful for all of us. I saved her contact for future trips, because it was really comforting to know she was here to take good care of my cats.

I have been using Danielle’s services for many years and trust my pets are in good hands with her! I have a senior dog and a cat with diabetes and she is able to give them all of their medication without any issues! She is reliable and knows how to care for animals in a professional and caring way. She also has great advice and recommendations so I can better care for my animals when asked. Her services are exceptional and she goes above and beyond for each animal. She developed a deep connection with each of my animals so I feel most comfortable leaving them in her care. It puts me and my pets at ease knowing she is caring for then when I am away or in need!

My two Chihuahuas have stayed with Danielle a few times now and I've always felt they were in the best hands! Twyla has some resource guarding tendencies which Danielle is skilled in handling. And my old man Wilson has kidney disease which gives him poor appetite but he always eats for Danielle. I would absolutely recommend!!

Four Paws is great. They are very caring and professional. Our dog had an emergency surgery and was on medications. We needed someone with experience and also knowledgeable about after care surgery since we couldn’t cancel an important trip. A very difficult situation for us and even though our dog was stable and was already 7 days since the surgery we were worried. We found Four Paws on line. We met with Danielle and Bianca and Immediately felt confident leaving our doggie with them. Danielle kept us informed about our dog’s progress and the medications intake. Danielle made especial arrangements the first few days to accommodated our dog’s needs and to make her feel comfortable and safe!. We will forever be grateful with them for helping us during that emergency situation. After that event we had left our dog a couple of times with Danielle and Bianca and each time it has been a great experience , our doggie is happy and We finally go on trips with a peace of mind !!!

I am so grateful to have found Danielle a little over a year ago! My 9 year old Pomeranian, Wally, has many medical conditions and Danielle is the only person I trust to leave him with. He has a thyroid issues, collapsing trachea, allergies and had a recent knee surgery. I needed someone with medical experience above a day to day walker who would be able to check in on him and make sure he was ok when at work (and let me know!). After knee surgery he still wanted to get out and about and Danielle walked him around the neighborhood in his stroller - he loved it! I've also used Danielle for overnights and Wally had a blast. He can be difficult with taking medications and picky with food and Danielle handled it with ease (and got him to eat!!!!!). I can truly relax on vacation knowing he's safe and taken care of. Recently Danielle has offered doggy daycare and these are some of Wally's most fun days. He always comes home happy and tired!!! I can honestly say Wally is a happier and healthier dog because of Danielle - I highly recommend her services!

We had Danielle at 4 Paws watch our dog while we were on vacation. He is very nervous with new people and we were worried about leaving him with just anyone. I knew as soon as we dropped him off that we made the right choice to leave him with Dani. We received photos while we were away updating us on his status and could see that he was having a great time with her and the other pets in her care. By the time we got back he was so comfortable with them I know I’ll be using them again in the future. Five stars all the way!! I’d recommend them to anyone needing care for special needs animals or just for a doggie play date. We enjoyed our vacation so much more knowing our baby was safe and happy.

They are insured with pet CPR certification. They were friendly and welcoming, yet thorough and attentive with questions. They took fabulous care of the cats, and shared pics of them and the immaculate litter box. They even changed the litter genie and swept up stray litter. The cats seemed quite happy. Shout out to this fabulous service. It gave us such peace of mind, which is so important. I cannot recommend them enough.

Alexandra & Ed have been taking care of our dog for almost two years now. We've had them walk our dog regularly during the week and have also had them stay over while we've been out of town. Lovable Pet Sitter took care of my cat for two weeks and they were fantastic. I got text message updates and pictures as well about my cat every time Alexandra came over, which was great and a huge relief. They provided an extremely reliable, excellent service and I would highly recommend it. They also have reasonable prices that are on their website and very straight forward.

Ed and Alexandra are THE BEST dog sitters we've ever had! They've been our dog sitters for over 5 years now and we've never had any problems - quite amazing considering that one of our dogs is prone to anxiety issues and the other is aggressive towards other dogs. So leaving them at home "unsupervised" or going on walks can be challenging and daunting. Oh and did I mention that they're both 70lb Akitas! We usually hire them for our long vacation trips, anywhere from 2-4 weeks and we always feel that our dogs are in good hands. The reassurance they provide is why we keep hiring them. We can tell when we come home from our trips that our dogs felt comfortable too, and in fact, probably miss Alexandra because of how well she takes care of them. As other yelp reviews have mentioned, Ed and Alexandra are very thorough and leave "report cards" after every visit in addition to email/text updates with picture to show "proof of life" haha. Those pictures ARE the best! They will also water plants, check mail, take out trash and do additional services included in their price that you wouldn't expect a dog sitter to do. And to show how committed they are, they recently stopped service in Mira Mesa, where we are, but told us that they would continue to be our dog sitters because of our long relationship and their relationship with our dogs. Needless to say, we were so relieved and thankful - that's great customer service! If you want trusted reassurance at an affordable rate, HIRE ED AND ALEXANDRA!

My cat never warms up to people right away, but she instantly greeted Alexandra. I swear she is the cat whisperer! Shawn is wonderful, and I am so grateful to have found her! It was my first time seeking a cat sitter, and I contacted a few sitters in the area. Shawn responded to my online inquiry right away; shared her business license info, insurance info, and several references; and scheduled a meet-and-greet with me even with her already-packed pet-sitting schedule. When we met in person, Shawn immediately made me feel at ease - she is incredibly warm and clearly loves the animals she cares for. While we were away, Shawn sent plenty of updates and photos of my kitty. My cat is normally quite shy, but warmed up to Shawn within the first visit - and she's a tough judge of character! By the end of our trip, I could tell that kitty was happy whenever Shawn stopped by. She was pretty unfazed when we came home, and I chalk that up to her being so well-cared for in our absence. 😂 While Shawn could easily try and hire others to expand her business, she doesn't - because she is so committed to doing the best job possible for her clients. I wholeheartedly trust Shawn with my fur-baby and home.

Shawn has watched our cats in our home on multiple occasions while we have been traveling. Scheduling: Shawn is very responsive and was very polite abd helpful with pre-visit scheduling of our in-home visits. She promptly arrived to our home, became familiar with the home, the cats, and our idiosyncrasies. Visits: Shawn arrived daily as promised and took excellent care of our cats and home. She sent us updates, and it was clear that our cats were very happy to have her here. She even left our cats a little toy that happens to be their favorite toy to this day. The little things that Shawn did meant a lot to us. In the past when we've come home with other sitters, our cats were a bit frazzled. With Shawn, however, our cats seemed very pleased and happy, so we know Shawn definitely took care of them well. Summary: In summary, we were very nervous about getting a new cat sitter but we're grateful to have found Shawn! She is responsible, friendly, and took excellent care of our cats. Shawn really cares about the pets she takes care of. My cat is a shy guy and she went the extra mile to make him feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for. Despite her busy schedule over a holiday weekend, she fit in an extra (unplanned) day when our flight was delayed, just to make sure our kitty had everything he needed.

I tried out a few doggie daycare places before finding downtown dogs. My dog is super friendly but very shy. They understood her and helped her feel comfortable and have fun! It also has made me comfortable leaving her at downtown dogs. The staff are all amazing! Now she gets excited when we turn on the street and she’s pulling me in to go play! Highly recommended downtown dogs!

My dog has loved every minute at Downtown. He's a wild fun puppy who started around 6 months old. He always enjoys his human and fur friends. We live 20 miles north which is rough doing twice a day. I have options closer, but the other facilities just don't offer the personalized loving service and care.

This is a great company. We love both their locations. I have a giant dog and she loves this daycare. They are very caring and devoted to the animals. Plus, when we get there, my dog is so excited that she doesn't even notice me leaving.

I’m so happy I found this place for my pug puppy Lulu. Downtown dogs offers a great place for her to release her energy, make friends and play her day away. I love that they offer add-ons like treats that can be given to her during their downtime. They have cameras in each room, so if I want to see how she’s doing throughout the day I can easily log in and check on her. They also offer report cards so you know how they’re doing during each visit. Lulu now knows that daycare means and gets really excited when she hears that word. I truly recommend this place for anyone that’s looking for a good daycare, where you can see how passionate they are in caring for your family member.

My girl loves Downtown Dogs, it’s a great place for her to play and get all her energy out! It’s great for when we work she has something to do to keep her happy and occupied. I definitely recommend DD for anyone with hyper furry friends to give them exercise and make them tired when they get home!

Our dog loves Kurt and the care he gets. There have been times that I need to pull my dog away at the end of the day, as he would prefer to stay with Kurt and the other dogs. Kurt has great control over the dogs and is a true dog whisperer. All the dogs love him, and in return he loves the dogs as his own. Doing business with Kurt is easy . He's reliable,responsive, and honest. You can't go wrong.

Kurt is the original dog whisperer! He is the perfect dog sitter if you want your dog to meet other dogs and socialize while going for long beautiful hikes. Going to Kurt’s is like going to summer camp for my dog Pepper. In fact, after our last visit to Kurt’s Pepper came back knowing how to swim 😊 He LOVES Kurt and always comes back happy, tired, and content. I have never had any problems scheduling. Kurt is extremely easy to talk too and flexible about scheduling. He is incredibly prompt in returning texts and our communication is always clear and without any problems. Kurt truly cares about your dog and the dogs know. Pepper always loves to see Kurt and as soon as we pull up to his house, Pepper is out the door and wagging his tail and ready for Kurt to take him out on a fun adventure. Pepper never looks back nor wants one last pat - he just dashes into Kurt’s house and runs off to find his new four legged friends for the day!

My dog has been regularly going to Kurt for more than a year. Never once have I found Kurt's services to be less than excellent. We have been taking our dog Bean to Kurt for almost four years now. She LOVES Kurt and going to his house! When we are in the car and she recognizes his neighborhood and realizes she is going to see him she gets so excited and starts barking and wagging her tail enthusiastically. We love that he takes the dogs on long hikes and gives them plenty of time play and socialize with other dogs. And the photos he takes of their outings are amazing. Because we know that Kurt is taking such good care of Bean and that she is so happy, we enjoy our vacations and trips even more. Kurt also responds quickly to emails and texts when booking stays.

Kurt is amazing!! I’ve been bringing my westie, Ollie, to him for a few months and we could not have asked for a better doggy daycare. Every day Kurt takes the dogs to a dog park AND on a hiking trail so they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation! I’ve noticed so much improvement in Ollie’s social skills and obedience. Kurt really is a dog whisperer as he’s able to get a stubborn westie to sit patiently for photos! Ollie loves going to Kurt’s and we’re so happy to have found him!

Kurt has been taking care of our dog, Stella, every Wednesday for 3 years. He's awesome! Stella loves going to Kurt's. She jumps out of our car and runs to his front door. A day with Kurt is filled with scenic walks, hanging out with other dogs and chasing balls at the park. Not to mention, we enjoy a mellow Stella at the end of the day. Kurt's taken care of Stella overnight too. We always know she's in good hands. He's reliable, conscientious and loves dogs. We highly recommend Kurt. He's the best.

My dog Hirschl has a far better social life than I do. He loves going to Kurt's when I work and comes home tired and content. Added bonus is all of the fun memoirs I got from his adventures. Worth every penny.

Full disclaimer: I have never used this company, I was simply another person at Saratoga dog park today midday. While sitting there on my phone, my attention went to a group of dogs barking while waiting to get into the park. Then, to my shock, I see a man that’s with them (found out later he was the owner of this dog care company) put his foot on the neck of one of the dogs, the dog became so frightened and submissive. I don’t know how to describe this dog well except that he/she wanted to play fetch, it didn’t want to run around, all it wanted was the ball. The dog clung to this man in anticipation of the ball being thrown. It was a medium sized, light brown dog. Once in the park, this man was obsessed with taking pictures of the dogs. During one of the photos, he was trying to get the dogs in line and to sit still, but they’re dogs, so of course they don’t sit still. He grabbed one dog by the collar and dragged him to put him in place (this was the same dog whose neck he put his foot on). There was another small black dog who also wasn’t staying in place so he grabbed him/her by the collar as well, lifted the dog to put it in place. I have been upset and sitting on this for a few hours not sure if I should say something, especially since he has all 5 star reviews. But I have a dog of my own and would want to know if this was happening. I’m not sure if his style of discipline and training is different, all pet parents discipline their pets, but this was too much. I don’t have a company myself, but I have sat and cared for other dogs, not once was I aggressive with them. The scary part is if he’s like this in public, what does he do privately. Once again, I have not used his services, just informing the public of what I saw for other pet parents. Take with it what you will.

We used Kurt's services for both day visits and boarding. Our dog Chipper had the best time and we don't worry one bit. There are other friendly dogs to play with and they go for long walks and visits to the dog park every day. Kurt is really wonderful with the dogs and watches them very closely. The pictures you get from him will make you smile and melt your heart. Kurt is a rare find!
