I recently intrusted our beloved pet dog Gizmo to Maggie's Boarding service. My family was very pleased with the experience. From the moment I dropped off my furry friend, I was impressed with the professionalism and warmth of the staff. They clearly love animals and go above and beyond to ensure their comfort and safety. When I returned to pick up my pet, I found them happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. Thank you for taking such great care of my dog !

Great experience boarding our 2 dogs for 10 days. One is on medication and that was not an issue. We received return texts whenever checking in on them, which was appreciated. Would definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend!

I was fixing to have back surgery in October. I didn't know what I was going to do with my dog and I didn't want to get rid of him. So my daughter inlaw started looking for a place that took care of dogs and found Maggie's Farm Pet Boarding on the internet. I was looking at the good reviews so I decided to call them. So I did the man that owns it told me on the phone about the place and I told him about my dog and I told him my son and brother would be the one bringing him out there. I was so relieved that my dog was going out there to stay. The price was reasonable. He sure did take care of him. He even trimmed his toe nails. I would not hesitate to take him there again if I needed to. Thank you so much for taking care of my dog. I have missed my dog so much.

Second visit down and I like them even more. I have 3 very different dogs from 100+lbs to under 20. All of them appeared to enjoy their stay and I can tell they were well cared for. The owner is friendly and hard working. I will definitely be utilizing their services the next time I need to go out of town.

I called Maggie’s Farm dog boarding company to make reservations for them to take care of my fur baby while we go on a cruise 4 months in the future. Tyler answered all my questions, informed me of required vaccinations, and generally answered all my questions. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole conversation put me at ease!!

They were good with my dogs even when one was being difficult. I didn't experience any kind of discrimination due to my dogs' breeds. They kept me up to date on how my dogs were doing. I'll for sure use them again

Great pet boarding experience with Maggie’s farm! We were coming from out of town to visit family who aren’t too keen on pets. Maggie’s farm accommodated our needs for drop off and pick up, even though it was outside of their preferred hours. They sent me a video of our fur baby while he was there too, which made me feel better about boarding him. Next time we’re in the area, we will definitely be using Maggie’s farm again!

took our Beau for the fist time, and the gentleman was so nice and friendly my boy did not even look back at me, and he suffers from separation anxiety, Would definitely use again and tell others how good they are.

I needed my dog boarded last minute for Father's day weekend so my boyfriend and I could leave out of town for 2 days. She took him in with no problem (pit/lab mix) she sent me a picture and 2 YouTube videos of Spike playing with a poodle and I'm guessing the smaller dog to be Murphy. His report card was all good behavior and she added energetic in her handwriting. I will be using her services again when I need my boy boarded.

We have 4 dogs! Trust me when I say they are a HANDFUL! She treated our 4 family members like they were her own! Sent us update pictures. She definitely knows her way around animals! Definitely will be using her services again!

Janie was awesome with Thor this weekend. I appreciate it her so much, it was very short notice but she had an opening and was able to keep Thor. I can tell from the pictures and videos that he had a great time. The report card and the little goodie bag was a cute bonus for his weekend. I will definitely use Janie again in the future

I could not even give this Dog Sitter one star!! but had to show one star in order for the review to go forward!! I contacted Janie, "The West Plains Dog Sitter LLC" because my husband and I are going on a cruise in 4 months. I emailed her and she responded fairly quickly which was encouraging. We made arrangements for her to come to our house the following week to meet our dog, Tillie and since we wanted her to house sit as well as take care of our dog, an appointment was made. On the day of the appointment, she not only did not show up, she did not even call or communicate that she was going to be late or, as it turned out, show up at all. I sent her several messages that day and called several time and left voice mails but did not hear anything from her. The next morning, I sent her an email asking if we could reschedule and and mentioned that we did not hear from her the previous day so she must have had an emergency. She answered this email and suggested a meeting in town. She had not explanation of any emergency nor was there any apology for standing us up!!! She acted like nothing had happened the day before. All of this gave me ZERO confidence that she would even show up for the dogsitting or housesitting!!! This is no way of running a business when you are responsible for the care of a loved pet and a safe house!! I totally will never consider using her ever and if asked, I will very vocally tell my friends and anyone asking, how poorly and untrustworthy this woman is!!!!!!!!!

Janie is amazing! My Ellie is a rescue and I usually worry when I have to leave her with someone else, but with Janie I didn't worry one bit! She sent me pictures and regular updates on my puppy the whole weekend! And she left with an adorable report card 😊Her home is clean and very puppy friendly! We plan on several trips this year and I'll be calling her for all of them ❤️

We left our pup, Murphy, when he was just 5 months old for the first time with Janie. I was nervous because he had never been away from us before so I was unsure how he would react and behave. She sent us pictures and updates throughout his stay so we could relax knowing he was doing well! When we picked him up, he was happy and healthy! I’ve already booked her for another upcoming trip!

Janie was so warm & welcoming to our fur babies! We had never boarded our poodle & our goldendooodle. Our poodle was only 3-4months old and still potty training, Janie stayed on top of his schedule & only 1 accident for his weekend stay. Janie knew I was struggling leaving our babies. She provided updates & sent pictures. I will never use anyone else!

We were a little nervous as we had never done anything like this with our fur babies. However we felt so comfortable with the fact that they could be cared for in their own home. We enjoyed the pictures we got of our dogs when they were with the her. And I think my kiddos favorite part was coming home to read the dogs report card from when we were away. Very affordable and caring, we will definitely be using West plains Dog sitter again.

I made a reservation for my little dog Cody in July for Aug 31 through September 11, 2023 I paid the deposit (half of the full reservation amount) directly to her and a few days later tried to schedule a meet and greet with Janie and her dog Maui. I suggested a couple of days but the dates/times were not good for her. Since we had time, I thought I would reschedule. Two weeks before Cody's reservation, I contacted Janie again and tried to schedule the meet and greet. I gave her multiple dates and times. She only mentioned the 1st date I gave her but a very limited time (1 hour when it would take me 30 minutes of that hour to get to her). I replied that that would not work. She did not get back to me about any of the other dates/times I had given her. I was very concerned and getting anxious about Cody staying with her. I sent her a text asking about her cancellation policy. She replied that with enough notice she did not have one. I then decided to cancel the reservation with 1 weeks' notice. I expected to get a refund of my deposit but when I received the cancellation notice on the invoice I was reminded that the deposit was non-refundable. Absolutely non-refundable. No credit; no nothing. When I inquired, she replied that she had passed up other reservations because she had a reservation for Cody. My trip is still on. I made alternative arrangements for Cody. I would not have cancelled the reservation had I been able to meet Janie and see her facilities. I could not leave him with someone I had not met with. There was no offer of a refund if she filled his reservation. If it had been possible I would not have even given 1 star with this rating. She did not communicate with me or work with me about scheduling this meet and greet. Be aware!

Janie took great care of our pets while we were gone. Would recommend her over and over, again and again!! She even gave our pups a goodie bag to go home with.

Rhonda has been watching my 3 dogs for years and I couldn’t be happier with the wonderful care they have received. I never have to worry about them when I am out of town. I have an older dog that takes medication and needs special care and she always goes above and beyond to make sure he is taken care of. I highly recommend her for any of your fur babies.

Rhonda is amazing. She genuinely loves animals. My little girl goes to her house 5 days a week while I go to the office. She gets excited when we turn onto Rhonda's street, she knows. She recognizes Rhonda's car and gets excited to see it in her driveway. Rhonda is loving, patient and a great babysitter. My dog is my child and I trust her with Rhonda. She's a wonderful, honest and kind animal lover.

I have a hard time trusting anyone with my babies. However, I feel complete comfort with Rhonda. She has always treated my furbabies like her own. She has celebrated birthdays and been there for me when my Teddy and Katie passed. She takes the best care of Leo and gives him so much love. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Rhonda, truly a blessing.

We had the best experience ever with All About Animals and Rhonda! She is the GOAT! Leo was so excited to get there every morning and see all of his new friends. She also sent pictures of him throughout the day. It is so nice to know that your fur baby is well taken care of and he absolutely was. We are so grateful to you for taking our dog in on short notice and for dealing with the long hours we needed. I wish we had you in our home state! Thank you for everything…and Leo says hi!

We utilize All About Animals to care for our cats when we are away for more than a day. Two of our cats are very shy, but Rhonda really has taken the time to get to know and care for our cats. As a result, they are very happy when she comes over to take care of them. Rhonda is also very good about communicating that she has stopped by each and every day and provides a status of the care visit. Rhonda takes several pictures and shares them each time she stops by to care for them. It is very apparent to me that Rhonda has a heart for animals. I would recommend All About Animals to anyone looking for a pet sitter in the Nixa / Springfield area.

Rhonda provided care for my 3 cats for almost 7 years in Omaha. I moved here not knowing anyone and Rhonda was a Godsend! I would have to travel for work at a time and she would sit for me. They came to check on our dog Daisy and played with her and took pictures of her and described her adventures. While at our home they bought in the mail. We didn't even think about telling them to do that. When we got home Daisy was much calmer and seemed less anxious than leaving her all by herself all day. I have used Funky Bunch Pet Care for my elderly dog Oscar. Oscar is old and doesn’t travel as well as the rest of the family and I am often sad and hesitant to leave him behind. I left my dog there for a weekend while I went out of town and was not pleased with how he was returned. He is a white short haired dog and he came back a yellow shade/ reeking of urine. I do not recommend leaving your animal in the facility was very unimpressed with the lack of cleanliness.

Nice to have a good, clean, safe place to leave the fur kid when we go out of town and can't take him along. Everyone working there seems to care for the dogs like they were their own and the fur kid seemed to have a good time. He almost seemed sad to leave when we picked him up. Definitely will bring him back to Camp in the future.

My husband and I have often chosen to not travel if we couldn’t take our dogs, but Camp Bow Wow East has helped us ease the anxiety of boarding. Both of our dogs do so great there. The camp counselors are great about following our feeding protocols and have even gone above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable with the care they receive while we are gone. What was once stressful is now an easy solution.

Staff is very friendly and very good with my puppy. My puppy has neurological issues and struggles with walking on some of the flooring. They have patience with her and she has improved greatly.

I live right behind Fidos Bed and Biscuit and have used Wren's services for a long time. She takes very good care of my dogs (Tater and Farley). She is also very wise when it comes to dog behaviors. She has the perfect set up inside and outside, and I highly recommend her for daily boarding and overnight boarding. If you want the personal touch when it comes to your dogs, this is it!

Henry and Simon love Fido’s!! We use their service for both daycare and overnight boarding. Henry is a corgi with a lot of energy so he needs daycare to run and play with friends and Fido’s is just the place! Wren is excellent with the dogs, they get so excited to go there!

We have 2, 2 yo sister Irish Doodles, and all were anxious as this would be their first boarding experience. We were gone for three days, Wren sent wonderful pictures each day - which is greatly appreciated. We missed those two and all of us enjoyed seeing the pics. I have nothing negative at all. With never boarding before, I was very anxious. 1st thing she responded to my inquiry in a very timely manner. Maggie was set up for a meet and greet, what a great idea!! Maggie and the others were good to watch and go! I felt good knowing she was a good fit. I received pictures, updates and whenever I texted she responded in no time! I felt she was safe and very well cared for. It was like Maggie had her own mini vacation as well! Never hesitate to use her again! And telling others of her Kennel-free care!!

I would absolutely recommend Fidos Bed and Biscuit to anyone who is looking for that special home away from home treatment for your dog. I have been going to Wren’s for over 2 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else! My anxious Irish Setter loves going and most often would like to stay longer. She has made lots of friends on her boarding visits and I like the one on one care that she receives. She sends me pictures everyday on their activities which makes me feel extremely comfortable leaving her. Next time you are planning an away visit you should try her out, you won’t be disappointed!!

Wren is AMAZING!! We have taken our dog to many other places, including Camp Bow Wow, and we are blown away of the care and love Wren gives our pup. She is always sending us updates and very responsive. We love how we can drop him off and know he is safe at her house. She has a large backyard where the dogs can play all day! We have been using Wren for many months and will always have her watch our dog from now on. Go with Fido Bed and Biscuit, your dog will have the time of their life!

Wren is absolutely amazing with our two dogs and they love to come spend the day or even the week with her. She sends us photos of them playing and lounging, which makes leaving them while we are away so much easier. Have just gone for the introduction of our dog to their facility but so far everyone is nice and friendly. Update: I am so pleased with this place! My dog was treated well and was played with, walked, fed. She came back to us happy and that is always a plus in my book. I will definitely be using Happy Tails again in the future for any boarding needs my family may have for Pickle our ornery Corgi!!! Thanks for taking such good care of her!

We love Happy Tails! The staff is top notch, courteous, efficient, caring, and most importantly, they LOVE your pets. They’ve always gone above and beyond to accommodate us. My dog, Bella, is jumping with joy when she knows that she’s going to HT. She has BFFs there and loves playing her heart out with them. I know that Bells will sleep and snore the whole night when she returns from daycare. The facility is always clean and smells great. You couldn’t tell that so many dogs were under that roof, it smells so nice. The grooming appointments are easy to set up and done splendidly. Bella looks and smells great after her grooming sessions. I recommend this place 101%.

After our last groomer quit we decided to give Happy Tails a try. We have visited Happy Tails for boarding (once when our usual place was full) and grooming with our 2 dogs (both Havanese, 16 lbs and 26 lbs). I would NOT recommend if you have rescue dogs. They told us we couldn't board there anymore after our male dog charged and nipped at a worker, fine that is understandable. It is the attitude of staff after this that was my last straw. The main receptionist is always very passive aggressive. The groomer doesn't know how to handle nervous dogs, sending us home with a half shaved dog that looks like the grinch who stole christmas. It's important to note this dog has never had issues with grooming other than nails, which we have always been very gracious about. Every time we walked in the door or were called there was negative and shaming commentary made about our dogs, it's like they were setting up the expectation of bad behavior, all because of the boarding incident (keep in mind they let him stay the remainder of the time, and kept him out with other dogs and staff, so it's not like they felt their lives were threatened by this under 30lb dog). It's like our dogs had been the topic of their staff during their visit every time. Sooooo weird. Acting like they are 100 pound foaming at the mouth killers. They have their quirks, but they are not bad dogs by any means. Our usual boarders LOVE our dogs, quirks and all. And we found a great new groomer. Do not put up with people who try to make you feel guilty! This is the perfect place if you have cookie cutter dogs with 0 flaws. Oh, except for the dog that the receptionist was cutting the nails of when my husband walked in, and it bit her and she just laughed it off and said "aww you didn't mean too". It's totally okay and cute when the little fur balls do it 👍🏻 but my dogs can't be nervous around inexperienced groomers 👍🏻

I was trying to board my dogs and talked to the place about the dates I needed and they said they had availability. They had me come in for an introduction that same day and said the dogs did good but would need to do a half day stay first. I scheduled that immediately. On my way home I called to confirm that they did have availability still for the dates I needed and if I would be able to secure those since they were scheduled for the first day visit. The girl told me it looked like they did and she would just need to move a few dogs around in the system. I was told they would call me back. They never did, so I called before they closed. The lady had trouble giving me an answer and finally told me that they were booked up. She sounded more like she just didn't want to put in the effort to look and just gave me the easy answer and then seemed confused why I would want to cancel the trial day for my dogs.

I am so pleased with the facility and staff. The man in charge is very knowledgeable and attentive. They are thorough in monitoring the dogs. Very pleased with the attention and care my boy receives. I love the staff who work with the dogs . The new manager gave my boy some special attention to calm his fears. Grateful for that.

We've been boarding our greyhound and pit/Lab mix with Happy Tails for the past five years--never an issue. They take extra special care of Otto, my blind greyhound! They've also made special arrangements for Gertrude, whom we boarded once post-surgery. Both my dogs are very happy here--they don't even look back when I leave!

Happy Tails is a great place. We have been coming here for 3 year, I don't know what I would do without them. My dog loves coming and can't wait to go. He knows what days he goes and what time we need to leave. On the way to daycare he can hardly sit down because he is so excited. They have done an amazing job helping him adjust and help him learn. The staff are amazing and so helpful.

We used to love happy tails, and have been boarding our dogs here off an on for the last 4/5 years. But the last two times we have boarded our dogs, one dog has come back with noticeable injuries that staff didn’t communicate with us about. The first time I figured it was a fluke, but when I called about our concerns the second time after returning home, I never received a call back. This did occur a while ago, so maybe staff or training has improved, but it was so disheartening for us and we won’t be returning to happy tails.

I have been taking my dog Archie to Happy Tails since the first year I got him. I can not say enough good about the people who work at Happy Tails. They make everything so easy when dropping off and picking up. They work with Spring Valley Vet next door so Archie gets his shots and stays up to date with his appointments with barely any effort on my part. Everyone is extremely nice and they always have great stories to tell about Archie during his time with them. If you are looking for somewhere to let your dog spend time away from home, this is the place.

We don't board our dogs often and usually when we do they come home very needy. But when I picked up my pups yesterday they just seemed happy. They came home and went about their normal routine like we had never left them. I do think they may have played harder or been more active then normal because they both wanted extra naps but really the extra exercise is probably good for them since they are getting up there in years. I will definitely be making Happy Tails our go to boarding.

Hands down the best experience with a groomer we have ever had! She makes your pet adorable while at the same time taking time and patience to make sure they are calm and having a comfortable experience.

Victoria is amazing with our Shih Tzu, Pistol. She not only does great at grooming…she actually cares for her clients. It makes the pet so much more comfortable. If you are looking for a groomer or boarder, West Plains Pet Resort is the place!

I went to drop off my puppy for a few days while I go out of town and ended up having a therapy session, Victoria has an amazing vibe and I feel completely confident that my baby is in good hands! I appreciate you and for our chat today it was much needed ❤️☮️❤️

Veronica truly cares for your little fur babies. She did Kinsley's first puppy cut. I was so nervous cause she is a schnauzer and I didn't want a schnauzer cut. I just wanted Kinsley bathed and face trimmed. Veronica did a great job with her. I recommend this place!

We love West Plains Pet Resort LLC! We took our mini Aussie to be groomed for the first time. She did an all around amazing job! We will be back!

Phenomenal place to get dog groomed. Extremely knowledgeable on breeds, styles, and dog care. Very friendly lady and my dog has a great time! Very amazed with the thoroughness and quality of the groom.
