Retired pet lover provides love , attention and care to your fur babies and home
Vonda was great! She sent pictures and updates throughout the sit and Dottie loved her. She took care of our plants in the Texas summer heat so everything was green and thriving when we returned. And the house was clean and tidy as well. We highly recommend Vonda.

Crystal was easy peasy, and ravioli seemed happy and healthy when I came home. I received photos each day and a video to confirm the clean apartment on her departure. Thank you!!

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.
I have nothing but great things to say about Jill! She’s a wonderful sitter and I felt so comfortable leaving my dog and cat in her capable hands while I was out of the country. She was thorough in making sure she knew exactly what each pet needed, had excellent communication, and provided me with daily updates. I came home to a house that was even tidier and more organized than when I left and two very loved pets. I would highly recommend Jill to anyone looking for a kind, caring, consistent pet sitter. Thank you so much Jill!!!
What a lovely couple Tara and Tyler are. They had been in Scottsdale about six weeks before the house sit. and can to meet us. Rusé, our Toy Fox Terrier, fell in love with them immediately, and was in Tara’s arms within two minutes. We always like our sitters to arrive the day before we leave, take them out to dinner and get to know them. It was quite apparent from the videos and photos we received, that Rusé did not miss us. Tara and Tyler’s three grown up children joined them before Xmas-to Rusé’s delight as these were additional hands to throw his rubber bones and balls. The house was all clean and tidy, when we returned.. There is a strong possibility that Tara and Tyler will move to Arizona from Montana, with two of their children, recently moved to the area. They have already offered to look after Rusé in the future. We know he would love it. We cannot recommend Tyler and Tara higher enough, they were perfect House and Pet sitters
Initially, I was very nervous about finding my very first in-home pet sitter who could provide the level of care and attention our 3 beloved fur-kids required. From the moment Emily and Johnny stepped into our home, I knew they were going to be in good hands. Their gentle demeanor and genuine love for animals instantly put our dogs Gypsy & Johnny at ease. Emily and Johnny took the time to understand our pets’ unique personalities and preferences, ensuring that their every need would be met. During our absence, Emily provided us with regular updates and adorable photos. Their detailed communication gave me peace of mind, knowing that my fur babies were in the best possible hands. Upon our return, we were greeted by a happy and contented gang, who clearly had enjoyed their time with Emily and Johnny. Emily and Johnny are more than just pet sitters; they are true companions to our furry family. Their exceptional care, genuine love for animals, and unwavering dedication have earned them a permanent spot in our hearts. Without hesitation, we give Emily and Johnny a 5-star rating and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking trustworthy and loving caregivers for their beloved pets. THANK YOU Emily and Johnny!!! <3
Erin was a great pet sitter who took such good care of little Chino. She was very reliable, kept us up to date with videos/pictures, looked after our home and kept it neat and tidy. She even left a thoughtful gift upon our return and was flexible with our travel plans. We would definitely recommend Erin for anyone looking for a reliable and friendly pet sitter!
Elaine was the best dog and cat sitter I have ever had! She was so loving to the boys, kind, reliable, capable and took fabulous care of my two dogs and cat welfare. Walked them every day and would even sing to them (-: I am so very grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting Elaine and I would recommend Elaine to anyone wanting first class care of pets and home!!! We all miss having her around and wish her a fabulous world trip and safe journey back to the States.
If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. I can recommend her as a sitter without hesitation. Thank you Anna
David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.
What an amazing couple we had as pet sitters for our two dogs! You can truly feel their love for animals. Nancy sent pictures a couple of times letting us know that they were having fun also with our Cody and Carson! Our home was perfect when we got home. They even left a beautiful potted flower and card on our island in our kitchen. We highly recommend this couple! Jim & Wanda

My experience ended with my dog dying. My dog has been gone from us for a year now but the pain is still there. I should have know when I first walked in because the place was disgusting. I get the fact that pets are being taken care of there but the smell was horrible. I made the mistake of leaving our family member with him(Reggie) because I had know other choices never again. My dog’s behavior changed while in his custody he was responsible for my dog self being.. I should have been called the moment he noticed his behavior changed we should have been call(Hey your dog is not doing well you may want to get him to a Vet). Not him when I got there is when he noticed his behavior because he was not taking care of checking on him like a professional care taker does.. He came out and told me “something is wrong with Achilles”. My dog could not move, could not walk I had to carry him to the truck and he passed a day later. If a person leaves their pet with you there are expectations we expect you to meet like feeding, well being they are your responsibility at the time you take that leash. So for me I wouldn’t leave a dead rat in his care, he needs to be shut down!!! If you really love your pet leaving it with him put their life in jeopardy!!!
Reggie was great- my girls seems happy and well taken care of! Certainly will be back!
The best dog sitting. 24 hours. Wonderful.
Reggie has been amazing. He works around my crazy work schedule and treats my puppy so well. Sonny can't wait to get there in the mornings and usually runs up to the door because he is so excited. Reggie has so much knowledge on dogs and training.
I’m a traveling photographer & it’s a challenge finding a good day care for my dog in every city... When I found Reggie I was thrilled because he accommodated my long work schedule and I felt more than comfortable leaving my dog there for 12 hr days...Reggie truly has extensive knowledge of K9 psychology... My dog was always relaxed when I dropped her off & picked her up... I hired Reggie for the entire 3 weeks I was in town... one morning my Vehicle wouldn’t start due to the extreme cold weather & I called him up and he picked us up, drive me to work and took care of my dog... That’s truly rare! He also gave me a few tips on how to control my dog’s aggressive behavior towards other dogs... She’s much more controllable now due to simple common sense techniques I have applied... He’s definitely my “go to” guy in Illinois...
Owner is down to earth, easy to speak with, very knowledgeable, does not rush you, and gives you peace of mind. Thank you for all you do.
Considerate and accommodating. Cares for the dogs he takes care of.
Owner is very friendly, and seems to have an affinity with all the dogs he watches over.
Reggie is awesome with dogs. Quick grooming.
Always a pleasure to do business with.
I absolutely love the Dog Den! I feel as if they love all the dogs, and take such great care of them. My puppies get plenty of exercise while they are there. My favorite part is that they take pictures of all the dogs playing throughout the day, and upload them to Facebook that evening, so I'm able to check in and see how much my dogs are enjoying their time there. It's definitely comforting seeing your animals having the time of their lives, especially when we aren't able to be there with them!
I regularly take my dog to the Dog Den for daycare and then use their boarding services for trips away. The staff is always friendly, booking is easy, and I feel like my pup is always excited when I drop him off. I’m thrilled to have somewhere I can leave my dog and not worry about his safety or care. They do a great job!
Kane loves the dog den! When I picked him up he was healthy and happy. The daily pictures of the daycare were great also.
My baby loves it there, I will never take him anywhere else. 10/10 highly recommend. So glad I discovered them. Best doggy daycare ever!
My high energy Boston terrier has been going to day care and boarding at the Dog Den, off and on, for almost six years. He loves it, and I know he is safe and happy there. Highly recommend it!
Dog Den is the best. Ken and his team always did a great job. We recently moved out of town and really miss sending our dogs here for daycare.
Our dog Nyx loves playing with other dogs, so the Dog Den is great for her. She gets super excited when we start driving in the direction of the dog den and always runs straight to the door when we let her out of the car. She clearly has a great time, and at the end of a visit it's clear the folks at the Dog Den have taken good care of her. Of course, she's always happy to see us but exhausted when she gets home (either from a brief day care or from a few days boarding), which tells me she had a good time. In their new location they even have outdoor space which I know she loves! Great online reservation system, super organized folks, reasonable rates, and a happy dog.
This place has been amazing for our little and aged Yorkie, Dusty. After moving to a condo last year, we realized that Dusty suffered severe anxiety anytime we were away. She hadn’t done well with other dogs (small dog syndrome is real), but the socialization and supervision the Dog Den provides has helped our family tremendously. The special care she receives because of her anxiety has changed our lives beyond measure. The folks who work here truly care about the dogs in their charge.
The BEST haircuts our dogs have ever had. Seriously. I mean just look at these photos.
The dog den gave my husband the wrong dog upon pick up. My husband assumed our dog was groomed and brought him home. When I saw our dog I immediately knew he wasn’t ours and called to inquire. They assured me our dog was still there. When we returned the other dog I was told I would receive either a refund or a credit on our account. The following business day I called to speak to the owner to share my experience. When I told him what happened, his first response was not I’m sorry, but “well who told you you’d get a refund.” Then he asked, “is that all.” When I again reiterated my disappointment in what took place he shifted the blame to my husband for taking the wrong dog. His lack of customer service, accountability, or compassion was frustrating so I then told him I would just take the refund if that’s the stance they want to take. He tried to speak over me, interrupting me, and when I wouldn’t allow him to interrupt me he just hung up on me.
I’ve been taking my dogs to Georgia’s for a few years. They love daycare and they’re my first choice for boarding. Tess especially takes good care of my boys and is extremely patient and communicative. We’re grateful to have someone who cares for them so well.
So Many Great things to say about this business, from the service to the staff!! Tess helped us on our dropping of our furry kids. It was our first time ever using a doggie day care and she made it super easy and comforting to us! Thank You again Tess you where very loving to our Layla and Lola. I highly recommend this business to anyone be assured they will take care of your babies. Also it’s very clean and they Accommodate big and small Dogs.
My dog loves this place! He's always so excited to come here. He loves being able to play with other dogs that can match his energy. If I ask them to separate him for any reason, they are always more than happy to oblige! I live about 40 miles away so he only gets to come on my days off and is upset when he's too sick on those days. Here's a picture of him at daycare showing how much he loves this place!
The staff at Georgia's K-9 Komforts are kind, professional, attentive, and loving to all dogs in their care. My two year old sheltie, Savannah, has been going there since she was a puppy. Her positive experiences have helped shape her into a well balanced, happy, socialized dog. Champaign-Urbana is blessed to have such a facility available to dog owners like me!
We were in Champaign IL for the week. We brought our Old English Sheepdogs here half days for the week so they could play and wear themselves out. They absolutely loved it. They were resting in vehicle and crashed as soon as we got home. Bonus; they didn't smell like a daycare/boarding facility. The phone was always answered, and they let me know how they played each day. The people who work here enjoy their jobs and are very professional. Price is comparable to other daycare facilites we go to while traveling. We will definitely use them when were back in town.
I just picked up my dog from Georgia's K-9 Komforts after a boarding stay of 2 nights. I do not recommend this boarding facility, especially when there are other far superior AND more affordable facilities such as Dog Den and Crossroads. A few positive points: -Vaccinations are required for dogs. -The dogs here appear to be safe and well-behaved. There are no pit-bulls (sorry to well-intentioned pit-owners who have wonderful dogs) -The facilities are (for the most part) clean and reasonably spacious. Several negative points: -There is no space for dogs to play outdoor beyond a very small paddock with fake grass and a small concrete patio. -Dogs are not walked by staff. -There are few toys or enrichment items where dogs are held. The dogs staying here appeared to be bored or stressed. Rather than playing with each other, they tend to bark at people on the other side of the glass. -There were not enough staff members present to take care of the dogs who were in the day-care area. I only ever saw one staff member supervising dogs in multiple day care rooms. The ratio of dog to staff appeared to be roughly 30 to 1. -I paid $50 per night, which is more than Crossroads and Dog Den, which provide superior services including spacious outdoor play, walks, and more staff on site. I am confused by the stellar ratings that describe this boarding facility (4.7/5 stars on 3/13/2024!). Overall, I was not particularly worried for the safety of my dog (although I was a bit), but I imagine his stay was rather stressful. For short-term doggie day care, this facility can do in a pinch if the superior facilities are fully booked. However, I would not suggest this facility for any dog, and especially not for overnight boarding. Safety: 3/5 Dog experience: 2/5 Value: 1/5
Layla had the best day at Georgia’s k-9 komforts!!! Highly recommended!! Great staff, the place is extremely clean! Layla will sleep good tonight!!!
I can not stress this enough, my pup LOVES this place. Once he realizes where we are headed, he starts yanking us closer! Not only does he love it, but the staff all know him and love him the moment we walk through that door. Amazing people make it that much easier to leave your pup with them.
I picked up my dog after a week-long trip. It was my first time having my dog stay here. Explained to the owner that I did not want my dog interacting with others because she has just been attacked by another dog and I wanted to get her acclimated to being near other dogs again. Told him meds, food, etc. He said he understood and would take care of her. When I came to pick her up. The owner told me he tried to have her hang out with other dogs after I had told him AND WROTE IT DOWN that she should have no interaction with other dogs. Then when I put her in my car, I found out that she was covered in pee. I went home and gave her a bath and then found red bumps and the signs of urine staying too long on her body. This indicated to me that they didn't even take her out to pee. Shocked and ashamed at this kennel. Can't listen to instructions and didn't even have the decency to take my dog out. Will never board her here again.
My puppy LOVES Georgia's. He is sooo excited to go to daycare there. The staff are all very wonderful. Huge bonus that there aren't designated drop off/pick up times for daycare. So happy I found Georgia's!!
Nancy and Jesse were awesome. Our Gunnar is such a good puppy! He sure likes to camp with us already! We will absolutely recommend them to our friends and family❤
Midnight Howler is the best kennel I have ever seen! The owners, Jesse and Nancy, are very caring owners. Their kennel is clean and organized and there is a large area for the dogs to play in. Their well-trained labs run up and down the divided fence to help exercise your dog. Nancy is very dog savvy and very helpful, friendly and giving. Your pups will love Midnight Howlers.
Nancy and Jess are great people who love dogs. They take great care of your fur babies as if they were their own.
Midnight Howler is absolutely the best. They have taken care of all my dogs for decades. I know my pets are in the best hands and that makes our time apart much easier.
Friendly folks, friendly dogs, plenty of room to run. She wasn't sure she wanted to come home with us!
They breed the best looking puppies.
Nancy and Jessie take loving care of my fur-babies.
Nice! Big kennels And clean
Home with my beautiful wife
Took my Maltipoo to get a birthday cut. I asked for a low Teddy cut on the face and to keep his tail long. When I picked my dog up, I saw him and was immediately disappointed. This is not the Birthday look I had in mind for his PAWTY. After he left, while on walks, he sat on the ground and refused to walk, his paw had a snip, and he was not himself. Usually I take him to petsmart, but I was trusting the groomers since my Aunt’s dog goes here. I am not happy and we will not be returning.
Overall, I’ve had excellent experiences with Angel paws! If I had one grip, it seems that the price for a cut for my dog has fluctuated up and down a number of times, and it’s never really been explained to me why. But it’s never been more than $10 one way or the other, so it hasn’t really bothered me too much. The groomers are very professional and setting up services incredibly simple. I’ve also never felt that my dog was in danger at the facility, so if you want to support a local business and also stop taking your dogs to a corporate groomer that doesn’t care as much, this is an excellent choice!
We love Angel Paws! Our pup comes home with a scarf on and smelling good. They also do walk ins and are willing to help keep him cleaned up between visits!
Recently I took my puppy here to be groomed. They brushed his teeth, trimmed his nails, cut his hair & bathed him. They did a fantastic job. The best groomers I've met so far. Chewy smelled amazing & looked so adorable. Thank you angel paws!
I want to start by saying this shop is very clean and friendly pet safe environment. The people are so kind and understanding Lena is the new head groomer and she makes sure to understand and know EXACTLY what every pet owner wants she also goes the EXTRA step and asking the dos and don’ts for your animals comfort during the stay. Makinzee is a great person new to the establishment but also very dedicated and friendly she has a very big learning mindset and is doing very well also and grooms cats. This place is very highly recommended!
Awesome awesome awesome. Took my dog on short notice, gave me a discount for being in law enforcement. And my dog looks so happy, looks like my dog put on a few pounds as well, she was obviously very well taken care of. I recommend angel to the max!
The new groomers at the Angel paws,Makinzee and Lena did really good with my dog. They were gentle and kept my dog in good care. They were patient with him since it was his first time and did good with all of his needs.I would 100% recommend this any dog owners.
Amazing experience. The groomers really work with you and the owner is very responsive and communicative. They did a great job on my two kitties. Will definitely be going back !
Both my Dogs look amazing after being bathed and brushed there! The was both of my dogs first time being groomed and I was very happy with the results for both of them. They are super clean and they have them cute bandanas afterwards as well. Very friendly staff and they took great care of my pets.
Angel paws did an absolute wonderful job on my miniature schnauzer. He looks great! And they got me in last minute! Thanks for the excellent service Duke and I are both happy!
My furry friends (boxer mix and terrier mix) LOVE coming for daycare and baths! They can tell when we're about a block away and those tails DO start wagging! I'm pretty sure it's the friendly, well-trained staff taking them out for group playtimes that really gets my pups excited. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for boarding, daycare, and grooming needs.
I love this place. I’ve boarded my cat, Bacardi here several times and they’ve always taken great care of her. They also love her and are always happy when I drop her off! They were also very accommodating when I had to unexpectedly extend her boarding and were able to feed her from their own supplies. Every time I go out of town, I call them up immediately. Highly recommend.
People were super nice. Prices are fair. Left my dog for boarding for a few nights. He had a blast. He was tired from playing when I picked him up, which is exactly what I want from a place! They also trimmed his nails. This place was great! Highly recommend
Leslie and the Tailwaggers Team are absolutely fabulous! They are one of the few places in town that groom cats, and do so for a reasonable price. I was able to drop my two cats off the days I couldn't stay and pick them up later in the day without being charged extra. On the days I stayed for their grooming, Leslie was kind, patient, and incredibly efficient with my kitties. She handled them gently and I was able to be back in the grooming area while she worked on them, which made the experience great. I will miss Tailwaggers greatly now that I am no longer in Illinois!
Friendly staff. Clearly care about their 4-legged customers. Great communication. I finally found a place that does NOT use cutters on my Brittany's nails. Fast service at very reasonable cost.
I paid for a year long membership to the dog park and haven’t been able to access the park for almost a month now. The employees keep telling me new dates and finally today one said she has no idea when I can access it “since they’re changing the lock” and the owner has been informed multiple times. She also didn’t seem to care that I’ve been paying and not been able to get in and wouldn’t help me in any way. I’ve called 5 times in 3 weeks and now giving up on this place. Spend your money somewhere else.
Awesome employees! Very friendly and helpful, great customer service. Also appreciate that they sell some items within their facility- I don't have to travel far for poop bags or toys! I love that their dog park is right by the village apartments. It's super convient to let my dog out to play in a fenced in area. It's like having my own backyard, my dog loves it! There's occasionally other dogs in there but my dog appreciates that it's not too busy. It is a little pricey for what you get. It's just a fence and open grass lands, not sure why that costs $100 a semester, $100 a year would be more reasonable. The dog park would be better with a picnic table or some chairs- Most users are students and it'd be nice to be able to study while out there. Also perhaps mowing the lawn a few times a month... The grass is long and provides a good environment for fleas and ticks as well as other insects. Also makes it difficult to sit down anywhere.
Tailwaggers is the best! I have been displaced from my home since Nov 2022, tailwaggers made an home for my son Dash with no questions asked. They let me see him whenever I want 🥰 He’s fed, bathe, and even read to. If it wasn’t for Tailwaggers I don’t know what I would do. I will forever be grateful they’re here. If you need daycare or boarding for you love pet this should be the FIRST place you call!
Are reviews from 5 years ago really relevant? We left our cat there last summer for nearly two weeks. She was totally pissed at me when I picked her up, for leaving her there, but she was well cared for and everything went well. The staff are friendly and caring. When I had a dog, I left her there too, and they have always been good to my pets. I've been using them for about 6 years. I got online today to check the hours, I have to pick up my cat today, matter of fact. I saw the reviews and felt I should comment.
I know my dogs can be a handful to watch, my youngest is quite the barker, but they LOVE their "friends" at Tailwaggers. The staff is always happy to see us and constantly in and out of the kennel area checking on the dogs and talking nicely to calm and comfort them. My kids always come home in at least as good shape as I left them, and their beds are always clean. Once I came to get my dog and my bed was in the washer, accidents happen, they offered to dry it for me too, but it wasn't nessisary. I'm just glad they keep my kids things clean, and my babies happy.
We had a great experience there. They were easy to work with and spelled everything out for us. I enjoyed watching my fur baby on the camera. She quickly adapted to the routine and I could see her excitement. Glad I was able to enjoy my trip knowing my baby was well taken care of. We were able to bring our own food, treats, blankets and toys to make her comfortable.
They took excellent care of our dog last month, however we're full for an upcoming booking. Fortunately Charleston just opened Pet Paws and were able to help us.
My pups LOVE Twin Lakes Pet Resort! They are so excited each time they visit for daycare or grooming! We are so lucky to have them in our community.
Highly do NOT recommend this place. I booked 3 months in advance and uploaded the vaccine records. The DAY of drop off they contacted me to let me know that my vaccine records won’t work because we got the Bordatella shot at a vaccine clinic and not his actual vet’s office. Unbelievable the lack of communication at this place. Now I have to cancel my plans because this incompetent place reached out to tell me this the DAY I was suppose to drop off my dog.
CUTOMERS BEWARE!!! My Name is John Jones and I live in Paris, Illinois. My wife and I have used Twin Lakes pet resort on a few other occassions and was very pleased. BUT last week we had one of our dogs groomed and they did a great job. BUT when I went to pick her up I was charged a 45.00 late pick up fee. This was the first time we had used Twin Lakes for grooming. 1. When we scheduled our grooming appointment we were not notified of their policy on pick up time. 2. When they called me to pick up our dog they never mentioned anything about a late pick up fee . 3. I was busyt at the time they called me and told me our dog was ready for [pick up so I actually got there as quick as I could which was about 1.5 hours after they called. 4. when i picked up our dog the receptionist told me at that time ther is a 45.oo dollar late fee. I did not say anything but the receptionist could tell by my look of disgust that I was upset. They took my debit card and proceeded then to tell me that if there was other arrangements made they would have had a discount on holding them longer than 30 minutes. But because there was no arrangements made I have to pay the 45.00 late fee which is 15.00 per 30 minutes and that there is a sign posted on the counter stating that. 5. the sign on the counter is on the far right side of the counter next to the window and is an 8.5 by 11 sheet of paper with average size print and the page is completely full of their rules on this. but the problem is it does say attention groom clients in about 1/4 inch font. I am not sure that anyone new to Twin lakes would even take the time to read it mainly because it is kind of out of the way and does not look important now that I know it is there. I did take a picture of it so I would have it for future reference. There young lady that was working the same day as this receptionist was.... when I was paying the bill merely out of the blue said "She does not make the rules and there is a sign posted" I believe that was said just to rub salt in the wound. I believe this was done intentionally to get more money out of us and I would have been more than glad to pay it if I would have known anything about it prior but it was just done out of spite I feel and not sure why! Could they not have seen this was our first time as a grooming client and maybe just charged us a small fee or even just make an execption and tell us next time we will be charged . I am writing this review so that maybe someone else that does not know about the late pick up fee and IS NOT TOLD ABOUT IT in any way at all MIGHT AVOID THE SITUATION. I really thought after I told the receptionist about my concern about this and that I intended to talk to DEE BURGIN about it ,,,that I might get a call from Twin Lakes pet resort but I did not. We will see if they even respond to this and if they do I will write a follow up but for some reason I dont think they will . CUSTOMERS BEWARE OF THE SNEAKY LATE PICK UP FEE AND BE READY TO BE TREATED AS A CUSTOMER THEY DONT CARE ABOUT. John Jones
My dog receives great care, and staff really cares about the dogs. She loves the staff. I love I can view her to check on her. This is so reassuring as a dog owner.
Love that they offer the self doggy wash. So easy and convenient. Bella was very happy and so was the momma. 🐾❤ …
Twin Lakes is fantastic. We board our dogs and cat there a few times a year and they always do an excellent job. They follow my instructions for feeding. The dogs like the people. The facilities are lovely. Our 3 dogs can be boarded together if we reserve with enough advance notice. The car facilities are also nice. All cats are allowed out in the room for a little while each day. I love being able to check in and see my pets on the cameras at anytime. I highly recommend Twin Lakes!
Love this place! Very clean and the staff is excellent with customer service. My dogs pull my arm off racing through the front door so I'll say they give TLPR an A+!
Very friendly staff. They truly care about the animals. Awesome groomers! I have a little dog so she can't go to the daycare but I know people who takes their bigger dogs there and love it. Boarding portion of the facility is top notch.
While out of the way, it's great for the dogs. My lab mix did great on his first day. We have been back and will be back. It's not far for me and it's worthwhile!
Our big boy Moose comes here, and wears all the other dogs out, and when we get him back he sleeps for 3 days straight... Carla does a wonderful job taking care and watching over the pack. Love this place
Willow had a blast. It's hard to leave your dog, but this place was incredible and they treated her so well. There is so much open space, and Carla takes pictures almost every day so you can see just how happy your dog is. I won't be going anywhere else. For me, this is the best spot if you're looking for a place to day sit your dog, or need a place for them to stay while you go on a trip and can't bring them with you.
We have left our dog Lucy with Carla lots of times and have never worried about her once. Carla takes pictures so you can see what your dog is up to and how she is getting along with the other dogs. The dogs are allowed to run and play in a great setting with a stone pond with running water where they can cool off on a hat day, and great trees for an afternoon rest in the shade. This is so much better then thinking if your dog in a cage all day, better for us and for Lucy. I would (and have) recommend Doggy Days on the Farm to anyone who wants to know their dog is having a good time and being well taken care of. Carla does a great job
I found Carla a few years ago whenever I was looking for a dog daycare someone from the dog park referred her. I am one of those people who over estimated how energetic my dog could be for my lifestyle. Drop him off at Carla's for the day and he slept for the next two days. Fast forward 3 years and add another dog. We are still going strong. She is always quick to respond, she treats my dogs like they are her own and you can tell that they are happy to be there. The price for the amount of space they get to run and play cant be beat. We will never go anywhere else <3
I found Doggie Days about a year ago and from day 1 decided I wouldn’t take my Lou boy anywhere else. There is so much space for Louie to run around with all his dog friends, which I LOVE because he comes home so tired at the end of the day and makes my job easy. I never have to worry about him when he is out there because Carla and JB have the kindest souls and always show so much love to the dogs on their farm. Pretty sure they had mine and Lou’s name memorized after one visit—pretty cool. They are also reasonably priced compared to other daycares/boarding in the area so it’s really a win-win for you! I 100% recommend Doggie Days to everyone!
We used to leave our dog, Mollie, with relatives until we had an out of town event coinciding with a new baby at their house. While looking into reviews of kennels in the C-U area, I read one about how it was a better fit for the owner's shy and defensive dog, as opposed to Doggie Days on the Farm. That was the only advertising I'd seen. We took Mollie for a couple of day visits so she could get acclimated. She loves it! We've now made it a weekly part of Mollie's social life, and they're the first ones we contact if we need to travel without her. The yard is open and clean, with plenty of trees, shrubs, and lawn ornaments to keep dogs busy. Other animals on the farm include cattle and llamas. They're kept separated from the dogs, but Mollie sure likes trying to smell them through the fence. The yard is connected to the basement by ramp. It's usually open, so the dogs can decide how much running around outside they do, versus relaxing in the AC. (Sometimes the dogs don't have a choice, like during thunderstorms when they're all brought inside). Doggie Days uses an easy to learn Tuesday thru Saturday schedule. I can't recommend them enough. Their owners are good folk who love animals and it shows.
They were wonderful in taking care of our sweetheart husky Nymie. It's like her second home. We left her for almost a month at the camp when we went for our wedding in India and Carla did a wonderful job in taking care of her and kept us updated regularly. Nymie loves the outdoors and the fresh air at this beautiful farm.
This has been a saving grace for us. Take our dog there once a week, he gets super excited when we say "daycare" or "want to go see Karla?" and he's always exhausted when he comes home. Worth EVERY penny EVERY time.
Called to try to take my dog here. They asked what breed she was and immediately rejected her because she's like 25% Staffordshire terrier and looks kind of like a boxer (having never met my dog, who has been nothing but great at every daycare I've ever taken her to). This seems to me like a sign of ignorance or apathy. Also very curt over the phone.
